Well, once again this story has been on my mind for a while and Silver helped me write this. This is my only non Naruto story so this is our first attempt at a true Pokemon story. There are going to be points of the story that aren’t as well written as others being that I’ve been sparingly working on this for the last six months.

-----------------
In the premier Pokemon Academy in Celadon City, a young boy with pitch black hair and two crimson eyes yawned as he listened to the instructor drone on about the different types of pokemon and their advantages over others. He was the youngest in the class as he was seven years old in a class full of teens ranging from ten to fifteen. The reason being was he was to advance to be kept in the lower grades of the academy was that he easily aced everything that was given to him even if it was basic knowledge as he said.

Now that didn't mean he was top in the class even now. Sure he aced every test given to him, but he never showed up to class except when he was forced to. He normally liked to spend time with his Eevee and hang out in the forest nearby where he felt comfortable. The instructors realized this and started sending out watch patrols to make sure he attended class since they didn't want talent like his to end up as a waste. Even then he managed to elude the patrols using his wit and unprecedented stealth. Threatening to thrown him out of the academy didn't work either do to him not really wanting to be there in the first place.

So they were left with one more option, to call his only known parent, Giovanni Rocketto. The boy's name is Daisuke Rocketto, older brother Gold Rocketto and younger brother to Megan Rocketto, who just started traveling throughout Kanto to start her Pokemon adventure. Knowing his son well, Giovanni knew that Daisuke wouldn't just sit down and stay in class decided to entice him into doing so by giving him a pokemon of his choice if he could graduate this year and not be held back.

The instructor noticed his boredom. "Daisuke, what are the benefits of having a Magikarp in your team?"

He rolled his eyes at the question before answering. "Initially, there is nothing other than having another pokemon. Magikarp is virtually useless in battle and doesn't have any real uses. It can't learn any techniques other than splash, tackle and flail making it a trainer's worst nightmare, so most give up training them and leave them with their professor or just release them. The few that stick with it and treat their Magikarp well will be rewarded when it evolves into a well behaved Gyarados. Those who don't will be treated to a furious Dragon Rage."

With a quick nod, the instructor responded as the bell rang. "Correct. Now then, everyone proceed to the arena for the training exercise today."

Everyone got up quickly and left the room and headed towards the arena. Daisuke looked around as he arrived and the two instructors there started calling out names. The battles for the most part were uninteresting. The most competitive fight was between a Hitmonchan and a Vulpix... and the Hitmonchan completely destroyed the poor fox pokemon.

"Will Daisuke Rocketto and Mark Kingsley step into the contestant box?"

Daisuke sighed out loud. 'Great. I have to go up against the school bully and his retarded Machoke. This should be quick but I better not give him a chance to retaliate later.'

He walked into his contestant box and looked over to see a smirking Mark in the other, pulling out a great ball and calling out his Machoke. Daisuke sighed and pulled out his only pokeball and threw it.

"Go, Eevee."

With a flash of red light, a small innocent looking brown looking pokemon with a white undercoating on its belly appeared. The Eevee's eyes open and its shiny black eyes looked around in excitement, only to see the giant Machoke above it. Everyone seeing this couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor Eevee when the instructor started the battle. Mark wanted to embarrassed the young prodigy went on the offensive.

"Machoke, use Low Kick!"

The Machoke rushed over towards the small fox like pokemon and quickly reached it and lifted its leg to put it out of its misery when Daisuke spoke.

"Eevee. Shadow Ball."

Suddenly the Eevee looked wicked when it smirked and opened its mouth. A pitch black ball of energy began to pulse and form in front of its mouth and grew to twice the Eevee's size before being shot towards the unsuspecting Machoke. Not expecting the attack, the Machoke couldn't put up a defense and was completely consumed by the ball of ghostly energy before it exploded sending the Machoke flying into the wall.

When the dust settled, the Machoke was in a crater in the wall with swirly eyes and wasn't getting up any time soon. The instructor sighed knowing this was going to happen as he seen Daisuke train with his Eevee and knew that the small pokemon's cuteness was just a distraction... a very effective distraction.

"Winner, Daisuke and his Eevee."

Every student was surprised and couldn't help but gawk at what just happened. Not only did the Eevee beat a pokemon with the type advantage, but it also used an attacked that none of them ever heard before. Daisuke just sighed as his Eevee jumped on to his shoulders and he headed out of the room, seeing that there wouldn't be any battles of interest. He turned to his Eevee and scratched her chin. "You did well.

Mark seethed as he recalled Machoke to his pokeball and looked towards Daisuke's retreating back. His anger grew at the young boy as he saw him scratching his Eevee's chin and he thought about rushing him and teaching him a lesson, but smirked when he got a devious plan on how to pay him back for embarrassing him and his Machoke in front of everyone.

-----------------
Daisuke breathed in deeply, taking in the pure air of the forest and smiled lightly as he loved being out here, away from everything else. His Eevee brushed up against his neck making him laugh at the feeling of her fur before she jumped into his lap, begging to be petted. He smiled at her actions and started to scratch behind her ears making her purr loudly. After a few moments, she fell asleep in his lap as he continued to look around the forest and the wild pokemon in the area.

There was a Ratatta scurrying towards a fallen acorn while two Pidgeys battled over something that was lost on him. He looked to the right to see an Oddish burrow its way into the ground to make itself look like weeds to keep from being seen by the overhead Pidegotto that was looking for something to eat. It didn't notice the Oddish, but saw the Ratatta and dived towards it with impressive speed and grabbed the mouse pokemon before taking off and heading towards it's nest to feed it's newly borns. He felt sorry for the Ratatta, but knew it was part of life and turned around so he didn't have to watch the mouse get dissected.

Looking to the left he noticed a pokemon that was rarely seen in Johto, much less in Kanto. It was a lone Houndour limping on its front leg with its leg bent out of shape and had a light bite mark on its neck. Daisuke slowly and gently slid his Eevee of his lap and walked towards the injured Houndour to see if he could help. The Houndour noticed this and started to bark madly at him, but he continued to walk closer seeing it was in no condition to move on it's own much less harm him. As he reached out for it, the Houndour tried to bite him but failed to move its head close enough to do so. "I'm not here to hurt you or catch you. Just let me see if I can help with your leg."

The Houndour still didn't trust him, but when he pulled out a roll of bandage tape and picked up two broken branches she relaxed somewhat as he placed them against her leg tightly before bending it back into its correct shape and started to wrap the tape around her leg. She closed her eyes and bit back a howl of pain as he snapped her leg back into place and bit him deeply in his forearm as he started to wrap her leg. Daisuke bit back a scream of pain when her sharp fangs pierced his flesh but managed to only whimper from the pain.

That was enough to wake up his Eevee, who jumped up as she noticed that he wasn't underneath her and started looking for him when she saw the Houndour's fangs embedded into her master's arm. She was about to attack when he looked towards her and shook his head. "Don't. She's in pain." He was as well, but he wasn't worried about that at the moment as he continued to wrap her leg. She drove her fangs into him deeper as felt more sharp pain in her leg. Daisuke gritted his teeth as he finished wrapping up her leg. “There. All finished."

The Houndour opened her eyes and noticed that he finished and that his arm was in her mouth. She quickly unlatched her jaw from around his arm and spat out his blood as she didn't like the taste. He smiled at her and looked up and noticed it was just past sunset. He cursed silently knowing that they would send a few people out to look for him and looked back down at the Houndour and smiled at her. "Well, I hope that helped some. Just don't move around to much or it won't heal properly. I wish I could help more, but I have to go otherwise someone that coming for me and try to catch you since you are in a weak state."

With that he tried to pet her head, only for her to flinch back. This didn't bother him as he lightly placed his hand on her head and scratched her ear. This surprised the small hound and she started to melt into his hand but it was over all too quickly as he removed his hand as he heard movement in the brush nearby. He pushed her into a hollow tree trunk nearby as Mark and two other students in his class walked out of the brush and headed towards him.

"What do you want?"

Daisuke had a feeling that he knew what they wanted, but was hoping that it wasn't. Another reason why he didn't like going to class was because of Mark trying to belittle him in every way, yet failed to do so and tried to take his frustrations out on him every time it happened. He of course succeeds the first few times it happened, but he figured this out and just avoided him at all possible after every time he embarrassed the over muscled freak of nature. And unfortunately he knew he was this time around. “No one makes me look like a fool and gets away with it.”

Cursing lightly to himself and instinctively began to look for a way out as he knew he was no match for all of them at once especially seeing that he couldn’t fight them on his own. He knew that he could take them one on one, but he knew they weren't going to fight fair. He knew that to be true when he noticed that their pokemon were already out. He silently cursed as he looked over the Machoke, Hitmonchan and Mankey. He would have laughed at the irony of the three using pokemon that looked liked them, but he knew it wasn't the right time to do so.

Gritting his teeth lightly, he noticed his Eevee growling lightly as it’s furry slowly began to stand up. He knew avoiding confirmation wasn't an option, so he would have to stall them as he began to develop a plan for getting out of this situation. So taking a few steps back while avoiding eye contact with the slightly confused and frightened Houndour, Daisuke spoke in an emotionless tone. "I see. May I know what you are planning then?"

Mark huffed lightly at that as a large smirk crossed his face. "I've grown tired of you continuing to better me. So I decided that we're going to make sure that you and your little Eevee will never be able to do so again. So we're going to break every bone in your body to make sure that it will never happen again."

Mentally Daisuke was cussing up a storm hearing this. Was the damn oaf so ignorant that he didn't notice that he wasn't purposely out showing him? It was just a god given talent just like some people drew or wrote better then others. And he also, when he choice to, worked his ass off to be were he was. Was his jealousy that someone half his age was better then he was driving this or did he just like being a retarded dumb ass? Quickly shaking those thoughts off as they meant nothing at the moment as Mark and his lackeys approached, he glanced at his Eevee and with a nod of his head, both sped off, away from the Academy which gave him a moment head start on them.

With the head start on them, he knew it would buy them a little time but there was no way he was going to be able to out run them for long as fighting pokemon were notoriously fast. But he knew the area well and could plant some quick traps and ambush them and possibly take them out. Going through the little equipment he had with him, he cursed lightly as there was barely anything of use. There was some wire he kept after stealing it from one of his father's grunts, some small bites pokechow and an advanced GPS that would let his father know where he was.

Not having very many options, he flipped the switch on his GPS to alarm his father he was in trouble. He knew that it would take thirty minutes for them to respond as the closes base was in Saffron City, but he probably would be out there for a while if this didn't work how he was planning and that was highly probable. Taking a quick look at it, he knew there wasn't any close Rocket members as all had a GPS chip in their skin. Not giving it a second look he grabbed the wire in his pack and threw it at his Eevee and gave her a quick order. "Bite it in half then bite your paw and draw some blood."

The Eevee quickly did so and split it into two pieces before gently biting her paw, wondering what her master was planning. Daisuke grabbed them in a hurry before tying one to a small tree and the other to a large tree root. He tied the other one not to far away from it, but made sure to keep it from being seen by rolling it in the dirt first before tying it. Soon as he did this, he pulled out the few bites of pokechow and rubbed two pieces against his bleeding forearm before beckoning his Eevee forward. She quickly walked over to him in rubbed her paw on the two bites of pokechow understanding what her master was planning, but was wondering why he wasn't doing it to the last piece.

Before she could look over at her master with a questioning look, he put the two bites into a bush near the tree and planted traps before picking her up and quickly climbed the tree besides the ones were he set the wires by. He made sure that they weren’t visible before stopping and placing them on a branch. Checking to see if they were caught and seeing nothing so far, he turned to his Eevee. "Alright, when their attention is on the bush where I put the pokechow we covered with our blood, I want you to blast them with the most powerful Shadow Ball you can create. I'll know they'll look at it first due to the fact they'll be using the Mankey to sniff us out. I doubt it will knock all of them out, but it will daze them and might just give us enough time to get to the Academy or to a nearby Rocket."

Now completely understanding her master's plan, the Eevee nodded her head as she turned towards the trap he set up. Not a moment later, the trio with their trio of fighting pokemon was in sight, though the same could not be said for them. Just as her master predicted, the Mankey was leading the group as they were figuring that Daisuke was hiding. The fox like pokemon refrained from laughing as the said pokemon didn't even notice the easily seen wire and tripped over it. The others quickly noticed it after the Mankey ripped it off the tree branch with ease in its anger.

Seeing all their attention focused on the Mankey throwing a fit, Daisuke threw the last piece of pokechow at the bush causing it to rustle lightly. All of their attention was instantly on it except for Mark as he knew something was up and decided to let the others check it out first, but made sure he was still close enough to them so that if it was an ambush of some sort, he'd be ready.

Once their attention was focused on the bush, Eevee opened her mouth and began charging for a Shadow Ball as she wanted to put as much power into it as she could. As she did so, the Machoke sensed an early similar energy as he did when he was hit by the attack during the training exercise earlier in the day and grabbed a fist sized rock from the ground as he searched for the source. Soon as he began to do so, his attention was broken when his master's two friends and their pokemon trip over a concealed wire and hit the ground and bush to reveal two bites of pokechow. His eyes widened before he grabbed his master and jumped back as a large ghostly black ball hit the four of them. Not even thinking twice, he threw the rock towards the spot it came from.

Eevee never stood a chance as the large rock hit her. She rocketed back at bone shattering speeds and slammed into a rather large tree creating a rather deep crater in it before falling forward and out of the tree, plummeting twenty feet to the ground. Daisuke couldn't get to her fast enough as he didn't know that the Machoke would do something like that. So he had to watch his Eevee plummet to the ground just as he tumbled to the ground and hear the bone cracking sound as she hit the ground. Not even wasting a second or noticing Mark and the Machoke saw him, he rushed over to her side.

As he reached her side, he instantly began to exam her. He cringed lightly as she was badly hurt. Her skull was slightly cracked from the impact of the rock. Her spine was bent out of shape from being slammed into the tree and her right front leg and back left leg were broken from the fall. Seeing her injuries he knew she would live, but it would be quite hard for her to recover if he didn’t get her some help quickly. Pulling out his GPS, he noted that the Academy was still closer then the closest Rocket.

Picking his Eevee up, he was about to take off when a large fist connected to his chin. Luckily for him it was only Mark’s as if it was the Machoke’s fist his chin would no longer be there. He fell to his knees as he’s vision swirled around him before he looked down at his Eevee and noticed that she was in even more pain. Instantly his vision came back he stood up and rushed towards the Academy being quickly followed by Mark and his Machoke.

He swerved tree to tree, avoiding the occasional rock or other objects thrown by the Machoke. His legs were burning from the lactic acid build up from the non stop running. He was still a mile away from the Academy and knew at this rate he wouldn’t make it as the Machoke’s aim was getting better meaning that he was closer or that he was getting used to throwing at a moving object or possibly both. The occasional rock would help hit him in the back sending him stumbling but he kept his balance as the fence outside the Academy came into view.

Using all the strength in his legs, he managed a quick leap over the fence and began to run towards the school office to get away from his pursuers. Despite the burning in his legs and his tiredness, he continued running as fast as he could while holding onto his injured Eevee in his arms, refusing to look back and hoped they weren't gaining on him. But his luck had finally run out as I rather large rock smashed against his head, sending his head into the nearby building and his Eevee skidding across the ground.

He felt a dizzy as a warm liquid flowing down his face. He noticed his Eevee twitching in pain in the distance and started to crawl over to her. As he was trying to crawl over to her, he felt something large pick him up and instinctively knew it was the Machoke as he heard Mark’s voice. “Now you won’t get away. Machoke, begin breaking him. Start with the legs.”

Instantly Daisuke felt something be shoved in his mouth to keep him from screaming when he felt the Machoke grab his foot. In an instant he felt an intense pain as his foot was crushed. He did the only thing he could do and attempted to scream in pain but had to settle for a light whimper as the Machoke slammed his fist into his stomach, smashing a few of his ribs and his diaphragm.

Eevee slowly began to flicker her eyes open as she came into consciousness. She wished she didn’t from the shooting pain coming from her back and legs along with her massive headache, but she knew something was wrong. She tried to shake the blurriness from her eyes, but it wasn’t working so she had to use her sense of hearing to locate where her master was along with the whimpering she was hearing. Locking on the sound, her body tensed as she recognized the voice of the whimpering.

Urging her eyes to see, she saw the Machoke breaking her master’s legs as he attempted to scream out for someone to help. Seeing the tears of pain along with his whimpering, the Eevee slowly began to force herself up, ignoring all the pain in her body. She didn’t know why, but she did not want to see him be hurt for any reason, then again he had done the same for her a long time ago when he found her and nursed her back to health.

She didn’t know why, but she suddenly began to feel different as she felt like she was larger. She didn’t even notice her now black fur and her secreting poison from her pores as he brown eyes shifted to red. All she noticed was the Machoke harming her master. Using all the new found strength she had, she began to glow lightly as red balls of energy began to form around her. It in an instant, the red balls of energy flew towards the Machoke and Mark, blasting them away from her master. Before she could see if her master was alright she passed out.

Falling to the ground, Daisuke noticed that his Eevee had suddenly changed and had used something that had knocked back both Mark and Machoke. He tried to get up but he could no longer feel his legs as the pain had been so intense that he had just stopped feeling them. He tried to crawl over to her, but he heard a string of cussing as Mark slowly stood up with his Machoke. “Dammit! That hurt. Machoke finish this so we can get out of…”

“Freeze!”

Suddenly four Team Rocket members jumped from the top of the building with their pokemon out. Three of them were grunts due to their pokemon being nothing special, but one was obviously had to be an Admin or Elite due to the pokemon she had out was extremely rare as it was a Dragonair. She had white flowing hair that was pointed at the end and pale skin. “Don’t you move another inch unless you want to lose your ability to procreate?”

Mark’s eyes widened seeing four Team Rocket members and they were apparently protecting the kid he tried to extract his revenge on. It slowly dawn on him that he had just harmed the son of a high executive in an international crime syndicate and he had pissed them off. Now he just hoped he would be granted mercy. From the ground, Daisuke smiled lightly before passing out as he no longer could withstand the pain surging through his body.

Just as he did, a well dressed man walked into the area and winced lightly at Daisuke’s condition before giving orders to the Rockets.

-----------------
Sitting in a large, expensive looking office was a man with tanned skin wearing a red business suit with sleek hair that was combed back. A Persian sat by beside him as he looked through the black and whites folders on his desk. This man was none other than Giovanni Rocketto.

After seeing what happened to his son after Mark attempted to take his revenge, he wanted someone to look after him. Now that he was the leader of one of the large crime organizations in the world with a large amount of members at his disposal could send anyone, but he didn’t. He was looking through his elite folders wanting his son to have the best possible protection due to his permanently weakened body now.

He knew this could be overcame if he relied on more powerful pokemon that could physically aid him, but Daisuke preferred to have more agile, stealthy pokemon, just like him. Shaking that thought off, he continued searching through the folders. Each one was capable, but they just didn't feel right. Every single one would watch over him, but wouldn't given the space to be himself as they would be to concerned about following orders. He need one that would follow them, but at the same time not to.

It was kind of weird. Normally he would get pissed if someone didn't obey his orders, but in this case he knew his son would need some space. Giovanni sighed as he scratched his Persian's head as he continued through the folders, black being Admins and white being his elites. None of them were right for the job. As he reached the end, he sighed and was about to go through them all again, till he reached the last one, which was different than the other ones as it was red, meaning the folder wasn't changed yet as the member was just promoted.

'Hm. Must be a newly promoted Admin. Well, let's see.' He opened the folder and started reading through it. He was slightly intrigued by this girl. She seemed to be as strong as his elites, yet she was kept down due to her inability to follow orders of her superiors. Well, that wasn't true; she just did it in the oddest ways possible as her mission success was 97.5%, the highest he had seen in a member that had been around for a few years. But that wasn't all he was looking for as he skimmed through her pokemon team and her own abilities.

He was quite surprised at her team as most his underlings would usually tried to appease him with rare pokemon so they could get a raise of benefits from it. This girl was different. He was definitely surprised to learn that she had a Dragonair in her team as it was one of the few pokemon he did not have otherwise he would use it. At first he thought about taking it from her, but in her profile it apparently was her first pokemon and had known her since she was a child younger then his own son. He could easily wipe its mind, but it wouldn't matter as almost nothing could destroy that bond as he knew it all too well since his Persian was at his side and his son's Umbreon was at his.

Putting that to the side for now, he looked at the rest of her team. It seemed from the data charts and her personal input, her most powerful pokemon was her Nidoking, which was one of the pokemon he personally chose so he was beginning to like the way the girl thought. Her next pokemon also caught his eye as it was particularly rare in Johto yet was the weakest in her party. A Sneasel. An interesting choice seeing as the pokemon were quite useful in combat and could evolve into Weavile, but she had a different purpose for it. She used it as a scout or a spy, which was very useful as Sneasels were quite fast and hard to detect.

He noticed she had an Arbok in her team and wasn't to surprised as a good portion of his underlings happened to use poison pokemon and the majority of them were Ekans, Koffings, Grimers or Zubats. Personally, he had didn't have the taste for poison pokemon due to their weakness to Psychic pokemon as trainers recently were beginning to seek them out as they tended to be the very useful pokemon to have in a party. She also had a powerful Gyarados that seemed to have a nasty temper, yet would obey her at a whims notice. The thought intrigued him as his medical staff was complaining about some higher up Grunt's Gyarados gave him hell and nearly destroyed his lab.

Shaking that off, he looked at her final pokemon slot and his eyebrow raised slightly. It was an Arcanine, but an oddly colored one. He knew it wasn't a Shiny pokemon as it wasn't the right color. It was a snow white Arcanine with reddish pink eyes which meant it was most likely albino which was even rarer then a Shiny pokemon. It also seemed that it was her first official pokemon that was given to her by a Professor, most likely Prof. Oak seeing that he was one of the few in Kanto that would actually give a Growlithe to a rookie trainer. While Growlithes weren't hard to raise, most younger trainers would have immediately tried to evolve them to Arcanine to look fearsome and it that laid their mistake.

While the Arcanine would be stronger physically then others, it would never learn the techniques it would if it was a Growlithe without the help of TMs. Now that could be easily remedied if a trainer had enough money, but the fact that the Arcanine would not be closely bonded to its owner hurt immensely as they would be unresponsive. Such was the nature of final evolution fire pokemon if they held contempt for their owners. It was possible for the trainer to regain most fire pokemon's respect, but for an Arcanine it was nearly impossible. The reason being was rooted in their premature evolution as Growlithes had to establish a bound with their trainers. Once they did and they evolved it would obey without question, even if it was doing something it knew to be wrong.

This meant she had to have been a rather intelligent trainer from the start which was desirable as his son was a prodigy in almost every sense of the word. Looking down at the rest of her profile he could see that she was obviously physically fit. The problem was that she had a bit of a temper, like she was having her period or pregnant, or at least from the obviously male data analyst had written down. And the fact that she loved to get into danger made things slightly more difficult, then again his son was the same. Now normally, he would have just skipped her and gone through the folders again, but something about her just seemed to fit what he was looking for. Making up his mind, he put up the folder and pressed the red button on his speaker phone.

"Get me Melissa Lane."

-----------------
A teenage girl around fifteen with long, snow white hair that was pointed at the end, kind of like Jesse's, wearing pitch black shirt and the same color skirt walked towards the office of her boss. This would be normal outfit for most people, but the emblem on the middle made it irregular as it was a large, red R, signifying she worked for Team Rocket.

"Dammit. What is he calling me for? Is he going to release me? What the hell?! I've been doing a damn good job! It's not my fault the idiots upstairs don't know how to give fucking orders!" From nearby, the secretary that called her blanched in fright. The secretary shook her head and opened the door and ushered in.

Melissa walked up to the desk as he was reading a folder, which she was very sure was hers and stood at attention, not wanting to piss off the person that paid her. He looked up from her folder and saw her at attention and refrained from laughing as she was visibly nervous, and the fact that he heard her outburst before she entered the room. He debated on whether or not to torture her a bit more to see what she would do.

Shaking his head, Giovanni put the folder down. "Relax. I have a mission for you."

Melissa instantly went slack and looked at him with some excitement, but it was hidden well. Hell she was ecstatic, missions handed down directly from Giovanni were high paying and also they were sometimes extremely dangerous. And she loved danger.

Giovanni coughed to get her attention as she began going into a world of her own, just as most of his other members did. She snapped back to him as he started speaking. "As you have probably figured out, yes this will be a well paying mission, but it will be a long term. Now as your file says, you love danger and well, it's going to very time to time on this."

He could just see the excitement coming off her in waves and he knew it was about to come crashing down as he handed her another folder. She took it up imminently and looked through it and her face dropped instantly. "You want me to watch over your eldest son."

Giovanni nodded as he saw her get slightly angry at this before he smirked at her. "Now, don't let that get you down. He may have a weakened body, doesn't mean he won't be diving head on into dangerous situations. In fact, he probably would do it anyways, just for the thrills... and to scare everyone else around him to death." At this some of her excitement came back, but she was still hating the part of it being a babysitting mission. "All I want you to do is watch him, and aid him if he gets in over his head. Plus, once you have returned, you will be an elite and you will have full access to any mission you choice. Now do you accept?"

Melissa thought over the good and the bad. Good being that she would get out of her uniform for a while and travel the world and get paid for it while being in danger every now and then, and the bad having to watch over a kid, that will most likely get them into the dangerous situations every now and then. Melissa sighed before nodding. "I'll take it."

Giovanni smirked before hiding it quickly as he opened his desk and pulled out a pokeball before pocketing it and standing up. "Alright, I'll take you..."

Suddenly the doors opened up as one of his elites ran into the room.

"Boss! Your son has gone missing!"

Giovanni just rolled his eyes at the elite. "I already know. The fact that I just saw him outside my window a minute ago alerted me to that. Besides, I don't think it's physically possible to keep him from escaping if he wants out. Just remember the lab incident four months ago and all the repairs that are still under way."

Melissa paled hearing this and just prayed that he wouldn't ditch her behind once they got far enough away from the base of operations. She followed Giovanni out of the building and headed into the forest. A few minutes later, they walked into a clearing to see an Umbreon and a Houndour fighting against each other and was easily one sided as the Umbreon wiped the floor with the Houndour. Yet it seemed to be more of spar as the young Rikimaru watched them.

"Alright, that was good. Umbreon, you need to work on your speed a bit, you seemed sluggish. Most likely from recovering from your injuries and your evolution, but we'll fix that. Houndour, you did good as well, I didn't really expect you to do much to Umbreon. But we're going to have to do some training to catch you up a bit."

Both pokemon nodded before Daisuke smiled a bit. "Hey father. Just finishing up."

Giovanni nodded and smiled lightly at his son. "It's okay, besides your about to leave anyways, I just wanted someone to go with you, that's all." Daisuke’s face dropped hearing the last part. He wanted to be alone; he didn't want anyone to watch over him. Giovanni noticed this and shook his head. "As much as I know you hate it, you need some form of watch over you, especially now. That's why I've assign Melissa here to watch over you."

Sighing lightly at his father, he knew it was the truth. He knew his bones would never grow back correctly and would be much more fragile then before. Still he didn’t want to be looked over, but knew he didn’t have much choice. His father would send her with him if he liked it or not. So he would just have to ditch her later with his pokemon’s help. “Alright father.”

Knowing that his son was thinking, he pulled out the pokeball out of his pocket catching his son’s attention. “Now I said I would get you a pokemon if you passed the class, which you did by default, I would get you a pokemon. But before I give this to you, you have to promise that you won’t attempt to ditch her. And if you do, I will take it back, understand.”

Daisuke’s face dropped slightly at that as his father had read him perfectly before sighing. He wasn’t sure what type of pokemon it was, but he knew it would be something that he asked for so he didn’t want to say no to it. Even if it meant he had to stick around with this girl. “Alright, I promise I won’t ditch her.”

Looking his son in the eyes, he nodded slowly as he believed him and handed the pokeball to him. “Then here it is. Don’t release it till tonight. Now I must be off, so this farewell my boy. And remember when you are of age you can join if you wish.”

“Alright, and thank you father.” Daisuke smiled lightly as his father ruffled his hair lightly. Turning to his now technical baby sitter, he motioned his head forward. “Let’s go.”

Melissa nodded as she walked along side him and his two pokemon as they walked into the forest.
