Chapter 5
So the next morning, er, evening, since Ash fell asleep and Lance joined him in slumber, Lance began teaching Ash how to cope.
“You know teleport.” Lance said. “You used it when we faced Samurai.”
< I did? >
< How do you think you wound up behind me? >
< Oh. > Ash jumped. < Ah! You're talking inside my head! >
< You're doing the same, Ash. That's telepathy. >
Ash looked at lance. < You're sure? I'm not? >
< No, you aren't a freak. > Lance sighed, and smoothed back Ash's hair. < Who called you that? >
< M-Matthew. > Ash gulped.
< Why did he call you that? >
Ash looked down, ashamed. Matthew had used his Hypno to hypnotize Ash until he told his deepest, darkest secret, and…
Well, now he knew.
*************************Flashback******************************* **
“Hypno, Hypnosis!”
Ash's eyes widened in a silent scream, as the attack hit. Matthew was thirteen and a cocky trainer, but only had a Hypno.
For some reason he didn't like Ash.
Why? Why? He couldn't think of anything.
But why did Matthew hate him? What was wrong?
Still…
He couldn't move, couldn't do anything, except answer Matthew's question. “I'm in love with Lance.”
“Your older brother?” Matthew sounded disgusted. “Man, you are a freak! Worthless freak! You'll never amount to anything! Never!”
He spat in the paralyzed boy's face and walked off laughing.
Ash cried silently, the scene replaying in his mind over and over. Why was he so weak? Why?
***********************End Flashback********************************
Ash refused to answer, so Lance didn't pry. Instead, he told Ash to get some sleep. So Ash fell into uneasy slumber.
< You're at a crossroads Chosen. >
Lance nodded, shaking his head. < This is too sudden. He's too young. >
< Perhaps in your eyes he is. >
< Lugia, he's _twelve_! Well, he's almost thirteen, but! >
< Yes, but do you honestly think age matters? >
Lance looked incredulous. < Of course it matters! I can't-! > He stopped, sighing. < But I want him just the same. >
Lugia appeared next to Lance, looking sympathetic. < He loves you, you know. >
“Still… unless he admits it to himself, how can he tell me?”
< Point taken. Do not be hasty, Chosen. The time will come. Be patient. If it gets that bad… >
Lance pulled a vial of ice-colored liquid out of his jacket. < I know. > He took a sip, and then consumed two chocolate bars.
Cravings gone, he let his body rest. After all, the next day would most likely be quite taxing…
Ash woke up from a dream, feeling uncomfortable. Sure, he was a teenage boy with hormones, but… he blushed at the thought of his brother, head between his legs, his own fingers tangled in his brother's hair as his brother sucked him off. To his horror, Ash saw that he had been aroused by the dream; dried semen stained the sleeping bag next to Lance's crotch. But it would have been nice…
Without quite thinking about it, Ash slipped one hand into his pajama pants and began mimicking the motions in his dream. He was so deep into the dream state that he didn't notice when he was not the only one awake or acting for that matter. Soon, a warm feeling suffused his body, and he came, crying out his brother's name.
When Ash regained consciousness, he saw to his horror that Lance had woken up. Ash looked down at his position and eeped.
“Um… I can explain.” He blushed.
“No, I should help you with your problems since I'm your brother.” Lance said firmly. As Ash watched, Lance got up. “Come on, we'll get this washed outside.”
Blushing, Ash nodded and went to get his clothes and change. * So he didn't notice, or didn't care… thank Mew… *
That was kind of random since he was a mew now.
He didn't see Lance casually lick the creamy seed off his fingers before he washed the sleeping bag in the stream.
< So sweet… >
Well, it was an unexpected development, but if that was the case, Ash had to face his feelings soon enough.
He returned to camp and found Ash heating soup over the fire.
“I- I'm sorry aniki.”
“For what, Ash?” Lance queried. “Wet dreams are a perfectly normal part of puberty.”
Ash blinked. * Did he not notice that I was- no, I probably woke him up when I screamed… *
He inwardly sighed in relief.
“Oh…”
“Everyone has them. Sometimes they happen when you aren't even thinking about sex.” Lance smiled. “So don't worry. We can always wash sleeping bags. You should go wash your pajamas though.”
Ash nodded.
After having breakfast, Ash quickly went and did his laundry. Charmander followed him but stayed away from the water.
What's wrong?
Ash sighed. “Charmander, I'm in love with my brother.”
So? It's perfectly normal.
“But not for humans…” Ash stopped as he realized that neither he nor Lance could be termed human anymore.
Would it be all right then?
That revelation left him stunned speechless.
