The next morning, as the boys got dressed for school, Lee questioned Shin about their openness. “Well, it depends…” the green-eyed Plant Knight said, “You WANNA be open?” Lee nodded. “Secrecy's too complicated,” he explained, “And I hate not having to hide what I'm proud of.” Shin wrapped his arms around Lee's hips and dry-kissed him. “Alright then. We don't have to hide anything. I don't care what people think about me. If you don't either, then the heck with them. We have a better love life than they do and we KNOW it.” Lee laughed an hugged his boyfriend. “Let's sit together on the bus and hold hands in the hall and kiss in public and not give a shit*” he gaily suggested. (A/N: No innuendo intended.) Shin laughed at his boyfriend's joy and energy. “Yeah,” he openly harmonized, “If that's what my love wants, let's do it.”

 

For the entire day, Lee and Shin practically announced their relationship to the school. On the bus, Lee rested his head on Shin's shoulder with a smile. In the school halls, they held hands with interlocking fingers. At lunch, a group of girls flocked over to them and they began talking, soon becoming good friends. Their boyfriends started insulting and harassing the boys and the girls slapped them, then broke up with them (gays are evil, no?). In class, the boys were giddy and playful with each other. All and all, Lee and Shin were both more than happy with their open relationship and vowed to let nothing get in between them. Nothing could nullify the chemistry between the two boys. Eternal love bound them together.
