San then deviously slid her hand down into her pocket again, only this time, she pulled out a mobile phone with the screen lit up with http website domains on.
“What's that?”
“I secretly turned on my Bluetooth device while Winslow was mumbling away. My phone can search through any network on other phones or laptops.”
“Like a Spyware?”
“Only safer to use. I had a quick glance at the website, and it's a map location for an old warehouse; where operatives work on manufactured stock. Wanna check out what business Winslow has over there?”
“San…you're asking me to snoop around a business that is not our responsibility to get involved in.”
“What if there is something there that the hustler wants? Why else would he be interested in `Relight' in the first place?” Ashitaka kept quiet for a moment when he then looked out in front of him with a sigh.
“Alright. But make it quick. I don't want Winslow finding out about this.”
“He won't. Not with me around.”
“Hm.” The Major then drew on his helmet and started up his Yamaha bike as he revved it up with more engine power, until San wheeled in a little forward with her high-impact goggles on and her silver slick Suzuki ready to stride away.
“I'll lead you there.” She then accelerated her power and drove off, but not too far away.
The Major then thought to himself; could she want to get more involved now? Is she actually beginning to have more trust in him? Or is it the liberation from the small minor yet demeaning debate over at the office in the building. Overall, at least she's talking to him. Maybe if he was lucky, he would receive another smile of her. What is it about him and seeing San smile? Is it because all he wanted out of her was a chance to let loose of her security? Or was it because he might, just might, be having feelings for this, extraordinary, wild, crazy beauty? Now wasn't the time; he needs to be focused on his job right now rather than thinking about San…not right now.
They both were riding down the hard, tarmac road with all the other Honda cars paused on the highway by heavy traffic. The window screens reflected the sun's rays back out into the moderate humid atmosphere in the air, but both the Major and the Hacker stayed cool with the breeze rushing pass their jackets and cheeks. San could feel the adrenaline rush of her motorbike dashing down the highway in quite an immense speed; about just over the maximum speed, but the Major will only let this one slide, just this once. Call it a luck stride for San.
20 minutes later, they appeared to be just on the outskirts of the city of Neo-Tokyo; near to Old Town, which meant more suspicion for Ashitaka. Everyone knows that Old Town is not the cleanest neighborhood to work or live in. some of the most common occupations within those ruins are illegal boxing, drug-smuggling, and prostitution. So it hen came to mind, that Winslow might up to no good, or something that is a key problem that must be dealt with immediately before any issues turn up. They then lowered their pace as they parked in front of an old warehouse with half rotten timber as the walls.
“Is this the place?”
“Yeah, it says on the address.” They stopped completely, but already Ashitaka knew that something was already wrong.
“What is it?” San watched the Major stare at the entrance of the building.
“It's quiet…too quiet.” He then jumped off his bike and slowly made his way to the building after taking off his helmet. San followed up behind when she then observed how Ashitaka secretly slid his right hand near behind his right thigh where he could almost touch the handle of his silver-platted gun. Now San knew something was wrong too, so she hurriedly drew her right hand behind her back but inside her jacket, where she quickly slipped her fingertips on her platinum gun with the safety on and stuck with the handle pointing up from her leather trousers. She then kept both of her hands out and came up slowly near close enough to the Major. He then stopped and looked down at the door knob at the entry; it was broken. Good stock-holding companies shouldn't have broken knobs. And not only that; the door was open so that he could see a slit of the inside room a little. But what was even worse, was that he saw a hand, lying dead on the floor. His placid grey eyes looked down, as he then pushed the door open to let more light into this dead house. And there, was a dead man, with a timid stream of blood running down from the middle of his forehead where there appeared to be a hole in. There were also a few other men dead with similar wounds on their heads; one leveled out on the floor too with another flat on a desk. San noticed the dead men in their places, and gasped silently when she looked away; as if seeing more dead people wasn't enough for her to projectile vomit. The men couldn't have suffered horrifically; most of these carcasses either have a hole through their foreheads or a hole at the back of them. Ashitaka took a slower yet cautious observation of the crime scene. San trailed off a little and went into an opposite direction from the Major. She was then spotted looking through another dark room on the left hand side; she gradually swung open the door, but there were no bodies found in there; just empty shelves and scraps of packaging scattered across the place.
“Someone already took out the stock.” She mumbled to herself. “He's definitely hiding something.”
The Major went into the room opposite of San, where unlike her room, there was one more dead man; sitting in a laid back wooden chair with his head hung low with a red hole through his head like the others at a dark manufactured desk, with all of the sheets of documents and other papers raffled around the room. But then Ashitaka noticed something which was quite peculiar; there was a cigarette in an ashtray, and it was still burning. They weren't dead for a long time, as an estimate, they could had only been dead for a matter of minutes.
Then suddenly, a revving noise was heard just from outside of the walls that surrounded him. There was a fire exit door open on the left hand side; he quickly pushed open the door which lead him just back out front of the building, where there, he then saw two people on deep black motorbikes wearing nothing but black leather, boots and helmets to cover their faces. He watched them drive away, and the two of them spotted him. But they suddenly stopped; one of them reversed back, and drew out a compatible automatic rifle from the side of the leather trousers. The Major realized what was going to happen, and immediately shut the door forcefully when then the bullets came soaring at him. He quickly searched out of the room where he spotted San; he rapidly clutched onto her left wrist and force her to follow him.
“Hey! What are you-?”
“We have to go now!” They rushed out from the entry and tried to get on their bikes as fast as possible. Neither one of them had the time to draw on their helmets nor their high-impact goggles so the first thing they did was rev up their engines to get the hell out of there. San then saw the two figures on their motorbike racing at them with their guns out trying to shoot them. San immediately reversed back and aimed straight for the road. The Major rode rapidly by her side down the fortunate empty rode, with the two assassins chasing them down into a `search and destroy' game. This was something that wasn't on anyone's agenda; getting chased down on the roads by two unknown people with dangerous weapons that could kill them at any second. Suddenly, whilst going down the road, they then came up to a split junction; they had no choice but to split, with one following Ashitaka, and another following San.

With the Hacker, she was still continuing to face a lonely road with no traffic, but with one of the assassins still trying to shoot her down; the bullets from the gun however kept missing her, but only by meters that were then hit by rubbish or the tarmac. She had to think of something quick; she couldn't get out her gun since it's too risky driving one hand at this point, and that it would need to take a minute to turn off the safety, and she doesn't have a minute. She could see the way the assassin's working; he is a good shooter, but he's rushing too much, she needed to find a way to get herself out of this shooting game. But then as she drove down this abandoned road, she could then see that she was heading straight for more open warehouses; she was still on the edge of Old Town. What can she do? She could be living on borrowed time at this minute. So then, she did one of the most randomness things she could do; she reversed back. With such high risk, she miraculously missed the bullets as she watched the man pass her with such immense speed. Now it was her time show him what happens when he messes with her. She didn't care for the speed limit now; she accelerated her speed, drawing herself in faster and faster for the shot. The man tried to fire from behind, only to then realize that he need to reload. Gritting her teeth, she charged down at him, and with only a few centimeters apart, she then rose up the front wheel high like the front legs of a wild violent horse, and then crashed down on his back wheel, making him lose balance of his bike. He started to swerve, and then began to topple; he then viciously veered off course and came heading for one of the warehouses, with a thin mirror on the front side.
Inside, everything seemed normal; the operatives in blue PPE were usually carrying goods to al sorts of shelves. But then, one of them took a peek glimpse out of the window, and the hurriedly and inconsiderably dropped the goods and ram back the other way. The others started to shout at him.
“Hey! What are you-?”
SMASH!!
He already collided through the mirror head first; the glass shattered into millions of pieces. The other's dropped their goods and covered their eyes as they were flung back a little. The assassin continued to tumble and roll vigorously, until he came to a slow and painful stop where he laid there unconscious. San slowed down a little and looked in through the broken window, while all of the other operatives roared angrily.
“What the fuck?!”
“Who the hell made this mess?!” Their low growling voices only made San smiled down at the cataleptic man, and then accelerated again onto the road; trying to find Ashitaka and hope that she could maybe save him as well. Save…him?

Down onto the other road, the commotion between Ashitaka and the other assassin was still pretty hot. He still had enough bullets to shoot the Major down ferociously. Thank god he was on a silent road; otherwise there would be a lot of civilians being put under the risk of an automatic rifle. He tried to focus his mind on the road in front of him, and trying to think of ay plans he could come up with to stop this cat-and-mouse chase. But then, a dead end approached. Shit. What he can he do now? He automatically swiveled round with the wheels screeching horrendously to a halt, so now he was facing the assassin. Without any stop, he ferociously forced more power into his engines, igniting green electric lighting through his wheels. He was not gonna stop. So then the assassin came charging at him, and so did the Major, only with more power, he knew now he can't stop, he had to keep racing forward; forward until he made a second move. The assassin pointed the gun at him; ready to squeeze the trigger. But then, out of the pure blue, he then tilted his bodyweight low to the ground so that his wheels were facing at the man. This made him have no choice but to swerve out of the way, making him loose control, the Major then skillfully brought his body back up normally so that he was facing opposite of the assassin once more. His leather-coated body tumbled down onto the hard tarmac floor but not with much force like the other man; the motorbike wasn't heavily damaged and he was able to rise up to his feet. But then Ashitaka heard another motorbike coming his way. Oh shit, can it be other guy? It can't be, because it was San facing him straight on. She bumpily rode down to see if he was ok as she stopped just as near as she could possibly get with the Major.
“Still Alive?” She spoke with sarcasm, but then Ashitaka's eyes turned back at the Assassin; which he managed to pick his bike up and revved up the engines again. Only this time, he rode away from Ashitaka and San.
“What the-?” He stuttered a little, but then he fired up his engines again and started to follow wherever the man decided to run away too. San quickly followed up from behind, where all three of them were then found riding down another lonely road, only this time it was another connection road between Old Town and Neo-Tokyo. The man looked from behind quickly, and then accelerated his power to run out on the two chasers from behind.
“I got an idea!” San shouted by her side as she too hastened her engines to catch up with the assassin.
“What? San!”
“Just follow my lead!” She carried on fastening her speed rapidly to make herself in league with the target. The man looked at his fuel supply, and it was running low, but he couldn't stop, otherwise he would get caught. So he continued on going, and San continued to speedup faster and faster. His tension was rising. The sweat began to drool. Her smile turned into a cheeky grin. The centimeters shortened every nanosecond. She was on his tail. She dashed down faster. Faster. Faster. But then, just as the climax was building up, she drove right pass him. The assassin was confused, as well as Ashitaka was. However, San the swung over onto her side to provide a blockage on the road; Ashitaka now finally knew what the plan was. The man looked onto his right hand side and saw that the road he was on was near to a bank; a bit of dry land a few thousand yards away from the lake of the broken pipes; where the Major managed to arrest Uzami. So then as a last resort, the assassin pivoted round to try to make it to the plains, yet with such driving force, Ashitaka violently thrust his bike into the assassin's, which then sent the man soaring out into the mid air, and detaching his reach from his rifle, that was flown a few yards away from him. The Major then rapidly jumped off from his bike and dashed down the side, as then the leather-coated man crawled on the sand-grained floor of the flat plain towards the gun which was still loaded with a few more bullets. He managed to reach for the weapon, and lifted up the weapon slowly, but was too dawdling to squeeze the trigger as then Ashitaka forcefully kicked the gun out from his hands. But then the man reached up onto his feet again to try to barricade himself from the Major. He tried to throw a couple of hard punches at Ashitaka but was moderately blocked by the Major's arms. The young grey-eyed soldier then managed to grab hold of the assassin's helmet, but an unexpected thrust in his stomach from the force of a hard knee, led him to pull of the helmet, only to reveal luscious liquid ebony hair unleashed from the cave. Ashitaka couldn't help but then watch the face commenced into the sunlight. HER eyes were dark delicious brown and HER lips were plump red with crimson blood, HER skin was as pale as mountainous wild snow and HER body seemed more fatigued when HER beauty was finally shown. Ashitaka kept silent for a moment, and seemed really startled by what he saw.
“Wait…you're Japanese.” Ashitaka calmly spoke to the woman, however in a less sophisticated manner; the woman kicked him in the stomach which made the Major stumble backwards a little.
“No shit!” She replied back in a huff. San hurried herself down when she suddenly became aware of the situation. The woman tried to handle her martial skills onto the fully qualified Major. But something was stopping the man in defeating the young girl; from when he had the chance to punch her in the chest, he only stopped his right fist at a few millimeters off her. But the woman didn't care; she kicked him hard in the stomach again which sent him stumbling into San. And with a surprised `you-can-do-better-than-that' look on her face, Ashitaka tried reasoning with the young girl.
“I don't hit women.” Then the young feminine assassin sprinted her way down, and San was standing in her way. So then, out of her rage, she squeezed her right fist, drew it back high, and collided it into the woman's left cheekbone, propelling her hard back to the floor. The young assassin slowly rose back up and angrily unzipped her leather jacket; revealing a sleeveless black top and her white shoulders.
“Look; I know its courtesy to not hit girls, but with a bitch kicking your ass like that, you got to do something about that!” The woman came charging in again, and managed to kick a foot into San's stomach making her wince a little and falling backwards clenching onto her stomach. Nobody hits his San. So then Ashitaka tried to make the girl trip up as safely as possible, missing the punches by throwing himself side to side, and with yet another easy access to hit her, he paused by a few centimeters. However, unlike him stopping leaving the woman to laugh, he noticed San running up to him to see if he was alright, he clutched onto her right wrist like before and thrust her fist into the woman's chest; making her grunt and fall back. San kept a little gasp within herself when then she was pulled back into Ashitaka's embrace. He looked at her. She looked back. He then winked at her. The woman wanted to charge at her again, but another outstanding high kick from San managed to do the trick to corrupt her. Ashitaka swung the hacker gracefully to let commence a side kick on the woman's ribs which made her tumble some more. San was really getting the hang of this now. Her devilish smile then drew her into one massive punch at the girl in the stomach which sent her flying back onto the ground.
However…as the woman weakly rose onto her knees, she then looked behind, and saw the rifle right within millimeters of her grasp. She chuckled evilly when she saw the weapon; she crawled like an insect to grasp it within her reach. She screamed. Aimed. And fired. A silence was echoed across the plain. A few bullet cries were heard. There were holes through San's jacket. But no blood was traced. She stumbled to the floor with her back faced at her. The girl then aimed at the Major's head. And laughed…just laughed.
“See ya.”
BANG!
Another silence. Another stillness. Another fatality. A bullet shot through her head. The blood drooled boomingly from the hole. Her eyes flicked up at the sky. Her breathing stopped. And her body fell. Ashitaka now was wondering what the hell was going on. He then looked at San. Who then…was standing up properly, legs straight, and pointing a gun to which used to be where the girl was standing. Ashitaka still remained silent. What the hell was she doing with a gun? San lowered her weapon slowly, yet their eyes remained in contact with each others. Who the hell is she?
