I'm back, after a long delay.

 

She was never sure what exactly drew her to him. Once upon a time, she would have suspected it was the desire to figure out the mystery of what he did, how he seemed to magically answer all sorts of impossible questions. However, she'd long ago given up on that quest. Some things, after all, were better left unsolved. Perhaps it was the fact that, the further she delved into his character, the odder things became. He seemed to be able to whisk her out of the rational world with no effort at all. Strangely, she was alright with that.
