Chapter 12: Dating; He's got the touch.
--------
Kitty couldn't help but smile as she opened the door. Word had spread like wild fire through the kids about Rogue's date with Ranma. The girl tried to play it off as nothing, and that it was more for Risty then her own sake, but she wasn't fooled. That girl was just as excited about getting out of the house for some good ole fashion fun as anyone could possibly be. Heck, she even caught her painting her nails a whole different color from black last night.
"Hey Risty." she waved, motioning her in.
"Kitty!" Risty grinned, whispering conspiratorially, "How's she doing?"
"She, like acts like she doesn't want to go." Kitty looked back, making sure no one was nearby to listen. Rogue would explode if she figured out this whole date plan was hers. "But she's really exited. Like, this is going to be good."
"Hehe." Risty smirked, "She up in her room?"
"Yeah." Kitty waved the girl off, "Remember our deal?"
Risty nodded as she took off for the stairs, "Details, and lots of them."
"Right."
---
That girl really needed this. The isolation, the loneliness, even the hate and loathing she wrapped herself in to protect herself from realities cruel touch just wasn't healthy. She was far to quick to think the worst of things in everything. Risty eased the door open, peeking into the room.
Her room was a wide contrast of personalities. On Kitty's side Risty could feel a sense of homeliness, of the warmth that was so much a part of Kitty's personality as her hand was to her arm. The fuzzy little doll was cute, if a bit weird, but it still spoke of the girls healthy imagination. On Rogue's side, that's where everything did a ninety degree flip. It didn't look any different then Kitty's side, but there was a pliable sense of depression that saturated the air. Well, not for long if Risty had anything to say about it! That girl was going to get out and have some fun!
Rogue laid across her bed, one arm pressed against her face, shielding her eyes from the soft light managing to creep through their window. Risty could hear music pumping loudly through the girl's headphones, but try as she might she couldn't figure out who she was listening too. Probably Marilynn Manson, or something like that. She was dressed in the same ole style. Black mini-skirt, matching stockings and boots, with a similar colored tank top that some how incorporated a kind of green long sleeved see through shirt. With black gloves, wristbands, and a studded neck collar to complete it, she was the picture perfect example of the type of girl you didn't ever want to bring home to meet your parents.
Risty rolled her eyes. It had been a dim hope on her part that the girl would wear something a bit nicer, but she should of realize the girl was stubborn as a mule, wouldn't change her ways for anyone. Maybe it was that part of the girl she liked most? Her refusal to bow down to other peoples standards, to just be herself and tell anyone who tried to stop her from expressing herself to go straight to hell.
Reaching out, she pinched the girls knee, "Rogue!"
Startled, Rogue took off her headphones, setting them and her CD player to the side, "Hey Risty.."
Risty made it a point of looking the girl over, before groaning, "Awww! Don't tell me you're going dressed like that?"
"Eh.." Rogue blinked, "What's the problem with my clothes?"
"Girlfriend." Risty sighed, rubbing her forehead in exasperation, "How do you expect a guy like Ranma to like you dressed like that? You look like some kind of juvenile!"
Rogue waved her off, getting up from her bed, "Whatever. If he don't like how I dress, that's his problem."
"Oh!" she scowled, "You're hopeless!"
"Hey.." Rogue shrugged, grinning, "It's like he said, like me for how I am, not what I can pretend to be."
"Eh?" Risty blinked. Oh yeah.. he did say his ideal woman would be some one who could accept him for who he is.. She grinned, "Ah ha! Listening closely hmm? Reading between the lines..." she preened, "I knew it!"
"Eh.." Rogue grimaced. There she went again. It was really starting to get on her nerves, the way she was practically insisting she had some type of thing going for the guy. Damn.. she really needed to think of a way to tell her the truth, about herself, and why she tries to stay away from this type of thing. "Whatever. We going?"
Risty grinned devilishly, "Oh, sure, change the topic."
"Look Risty." Rogue sighed, eyeing her clock, "We said we'd be there by three, don't want to be late, do you?"
"Alright."
---
Now was the perfect time to get away, with Xavier busy with Forge down in the basement, Storm with the new kids out in the yard, and everyone else in the living room watching TV. Yeah, now was the best time to get the heck out of here, hit a bar, play some pool maybe, unwind after all the hype this last week. Grabbing his Motorcycle helmet, he was just about to make his getaway when Rogue and Risty came down from upstairs, making for the door as well.
"You kids going some where?"
Risty grinned, "You bet. Rogue's got this hot little date with Ranma going, don't want to be late." she opened the door.
Logan blinked. When did that kid ask Rogue out?
Rogue rolled her eyes, "She's just playin. We're both going out with him today."
Logan blinked again. He's taking both of them out? Kid didn't seem like a gigolo.
"Hey Risty, Rogue." Jean came in from the living room, eyeing the girls with a tight smile, "You two taking off already?"
"Yep." Risty grabbed Rogue's hand, trying to pull her out through the door before something came up to delay them. Too bad Jean was just the something to stop them.
"Hey, if you guys get hungry later, why don't you invite Ranma over for dinner?" Jean offered, an innocent look in her actions.
Risty groaned, "Jeeeeean! This is suppose to be a Risty Rogue Ranma only night!" she pointed accusingly as a thought popped in her head, "You! You're just trying to take him for yourself! I heard about how you kissed him!"
Logan blinked thrice. Jean kissed the kid? What next?
Jean smirked coyly, walking away towards the dining room, "Hey, it was just a little kiss."
Rogue rolled her eyes, "With the way the guy was blushin, I thought you frenched him."
"Heh.. maybe later." Jean finished, grinning madly as she disappeared around the corner.
Logan blinked again. Kiss. Tongue. French. Uh.. he just wanted to go play some pool damn it!
Risty scowled, "That little hussy!" she pulled Rogue out the door in earnest, promising, "I swear Rogue! She won't beat us! We'll show Ranma we're the right girls for him!"
Rogue grimaced as she was pulled around like a rag doll, "Hey! I don't wanna kiss him or nothin! Leave me outta it!"
Risty chuckled, "I didn't say we were going to kiss him.. hmm.. thinking impure thoughts there, Rogue?"
"Ah crap. You're just stinkin words in my mouth!" Logan heard Rogue say, before the door closed and the children moved on. Kissing.. Jean.. Rogue... Risty.. did that kid get around or what?
"Hey Logan, have you seen Jean?" Scott blinked, eyeing the man. He looked perpetually shell shocked, like something happened he never expected too.
"Uh.. kissin Ranma?" he mumbled.
"What." Scott deadpanned.
He motioned towards the door, "In the dinin room, dinner, French kissin her."
"WHAT?!" Scott blanched, turning and running for the dining room, "JEAN! DON'T DO IT! YOU'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOURSELF!"
With a loud crash, Jean's surprised voice was heard, "Scott?!? What's gotten into you!"
"Jean!" Scott hissed, "A girl's virginity is her most special property! Don't give it to Ranma!"
"What!?!?!"
Logan grunted, opening the door and slamming it shut behind him. From now on he'd just sneak out the back, this was just too crazy.
---
The apartment complex was nice, she supposed. Not extravagant, but homely for a lower middle class family. She didn't know why, but she expected Ranma of all people to be living in better conditions. Rogue eyed a rather large ladder as they climbed the stairs. It was pressed up against the wall, leading to the roof. She could swear she heard some rustling from up there, but ignored it.
Risty hmmed, looking at a small paper in her hand, then at the door. "Apartment 2b. This is it."
"Knock already."
Risty shrugged, doing just that. The two didn't have to wait long, the door opening up to reveal Wanda. She wasn't dressed up like she usually was, no jacket, instead a loose top that showed off way too much skin and just a tiny peak at her breasts. She gave the girls a bland, almost bored look as they stood there, staring at her.
Risty blanched. What the hell was she doing here?!?
Rogue looked at her weirdly, her thoughts mirroring her friends. Did Ranma hook up with her last night? They were close, she knew, but not that close!
"Move damn it." Fred scowled, walking past Wanda and pushing the girls to the side. He looked tired, sweaty with a rather damp towel slung over his shoulders. Risty and Rogue watched him go in confusion, which only grew as he climbed the nearby ladder and disappeared over the roofs edge.
"You two just going to stand there, or you coming in?" Wanda rolled her eyes.
"Uh.. were here for Ranma.." Rogue mumbled out, still a little out of it to find Fred and Wanda here of all people.
Risty scowled, "Just what the heck are you doing here anyway?" she made a point of staring at her rather exposed chest, "And for the love of god, stop flashing everyone!"
Wanda rolled her eyes, "I happen to like the way I dress, and we live here."
"But.. then were does Ranma live?" Rogue asked, confused. She didn't even want to entertain the thought he lived here, with them.
"Here." she shrugged, "Our place was falling apart, Nabs and Ranma invited us to stay here until we came up with a way to fix the old house."
"Oh.." Risty let out a very relieved breath at that. "So.. um.. where is he?"
"Ranma?" She shrugged, pointing towards the ladder, "Up there." before shutting the door in their face.
---
Tabitha didn't like the weekends anymore. Ever since Nabiki and Ranma had entered their lives, she found the dull boring time before and after school to be, well, boring. There was so much fun to be had at school, the intrigue, and mystery, and of course the oodles and oodles of money. They weren't rich, not yet anyway, but with some one like Nabiki manning the helm she didn't doubt they would make it rich. Still.. there was one aspect of the Weekends she enjoyed.. the guys certainly did have scrumptious bodies.
Lance, Peitro, Ranma, and Toad were all working out with no shirts on, and every since Ranma had forced the guys to work out with them, she had noticed the guys growing rather enticing bodies. Fred was outright ignored, but that was for obvious reasons.
Lance busied himself with a mix of push up and sit up repetitions. She rather like the way his cute little face scrunched up in concentration when he reached about the hundredth sit up. He was so cute.
Peitro had been a hot head when training started, but even he quickly fell into line once the realization that if he learned martial arts he could probably kick the X-geeks ass. Currently encircling Ranma, ready to pounce, she giggled madly at the way his sexy ass would shake before starting in on the guy.
Toad was also circling Ranma, preparing for a two on one sparring session. He was perhaps the biggest surprise out of all of them, why, she could even see some muscle tone forming on the guy. It wasn't a secret Ranma worked the little guy the hardest, and Toad had whined about it at first, but Tabitha realized that out of all the guys Ranma worried about Toad the most. With his confidence problem slowly evaporating, Tabitha believed it was Ranma's plan from the beginning, to raise the kids self esteem through harsh rigorous training. Now that they could all see the definition in his abs forming, Toad certainly was more willing to endure Ranma's harsh training.
"Hmm.. scrumptious." she popped a jolly rancher in her mouth. Guy watching was definatly her favorite past time. Nothing like laying about in a lawn chair, working on her tan while enjoying such wonderful eye candy. Nothing could possible be better then this.
"Oh my god."
Tabitha frowned, lowering her shades and eyeing the girls curious. She smirked, "You here for the show, too?"
Risty and Rogue found themselves in a rather curious predicament. Namely, staring at the guys running around with the shirts off, neither of which couldn't help but notice the sweat pouring down their frames, accentuating those wonderfully hard looking muscles.
"Tabitha.." Rogue hissed, eyes never leaving the guys, "What's going on?"
Tabitha smirked. It was a nice change of pace to see the girl interested in guys, instead of trying to ignore them, though she couldn't blame her for that. Not with her problem of draining whoever she touched.
Risty blanched, "Oh.. my god!! Is that Todd?"
"Oh geesh.. that kid has muscles!" Rogue couldn't believe that, not even for a second. The muscles weren't pronounced as say Ranma's, but she couldn't definitely see them forming up. Whoa.
Peitro launched forward, quickly finding his punches blocked and redirected as Ranma back stepped, the guy's serious eyes locked with his own. Feinting high, he dropped into a leg sweep, to which Ranma simply hopped over. Toad took the opportunity to leap at the airborne martial artist from behind, eyes widening in surprise as the guy some how managed to flip over his attack completely, using his body as a hand spring to flip away from the both of them.
Peitro hissed, eyeing Toad, "Alright, you ready to get serious?"
"Let's do it." Toad grunted.
The two warily circled Ranma, who simply stood there relaxed, his hands cupped behind his back and looking seemingly bored.
"NOW!" Peitro rushed forward, flickering from view as Toad leapt in the air. Ranma smirked, back stepping as he blocked a high punch from the speed demon, using his extended wrist to flip him over his side. Letting Peitro go, he flew up in the air to meet the Toad head on. The two came together in a fierce series of strikes, blocks, and feints as they passed each other in the air. Toad landed, his ribs groaning painfully at the strikes that had managed to get through.
Ranma flipped twice before landing. Twirling around, arms spread wide as small nodes of blue lights began to appear in the air around him.
Tabitha whistled, "Sweet! There going to try the Ki dodge again!"
Risty was startled, "Holy.. what's going on?"
Rogue winced. Risty wasn't a mutant, she wouldn't know anything about this. "Ki?"
Tabitha grinned, "Spirit, Air, Being, that kinda thing."
Peitro grimaced. He wasn't looking forward to this, eyeing Toad, he nodded. Both rushed towards each other, each lowering one hand to the ground, forming a curve with the rest of their bodies that pointed skyward.
Ranma slammed his hands together, the blue notes of light began to shoot in-between them as he slowly expanded the distance between his hands, a larger blue ball of light growing as more and more blue nodes flashed toward him. Pulling back, he couldn't help but grin. Toad and Peitro looked damn serious this time, maybe they'd get it right? Here's hoping! "MOKOU TAKABISHA!" he shouted, thrusting his arms forward. The energy was quick to blast from his hands, which screamed across the small roof, displacement of air forcing Tabitha to grab her bowl of Jolly Ranchers, lest they spill out.
The blue energy ball slammed into Peitro and Toad, both wincing at the initial contact, before the ball started traveling up their bodies, blasting up and away from their improvised human ramps. Both quickly fall to their knees, hissing as their arms erupted in pain.
Ranma whistled, "Holy.. you guys did it." He was rather proud of them.
"Shut up!" Peitro hissed, "That freaken hurts!"
Toad nodded grimly, holding his bruised arms tenderly, "Yeah.. at least we did it this time.."
Ranma smiled, helping the two to their feet, "Yeah, you guys did good. I'm proud of tha both of ya." He was about to say something more, when Risty practically teleported in front of him.
"OH MY GOD!" she giggled excitedly, "That was so cool! How'd you do that? Can you do it again? Huh, please, please!"
Ranma stuttered, surprised, "Ris.. Risty?!" When the heck did she show up. Looking over at Tabitha, he groaned. Rogue was here too. "Uh.. it's just trainin.." he sighed, "Three already?" Man, just where did the time go?
Risty blinked, "Uh.. yeah.. about that thing you did.."
He chuckled, nervously scratching the back of his neck, "Ah, jus forget about it. It's a family secret, y'know, can't be talkin about it."
"Oh.." Risty sighed sadly. Damn. "Well.. you ready to go?" she grinned, already over it.
Ranma breathed a sigh in relief, "Lemme take a shower first." he eyed the others as he moved away, "Hey Fred! Tai Chi ain't the only thing you need to practice! Sumo man! Have the others help, kay?"
Fred grinned, "Heh. Sure." He completely ignored Peitro, Toad, and Lances groans at that. Nobody in their right mind wanted to tango with Fred when it came to Sumo. "Don't go wild on this date, y'hear?"
Peitro smirked, "Yeah. Hey Ranma, don't let that Rogue chick touch ya, she'll drain.." he was cut off when a bowl of jolly ranchers slammed into his face.
Tabitha scowled, "Shut up, ass!"
Ranma blinked, eyeing Rogue, who at that point in time was just staring at Peitro and scowling. Weird. "Whatever."
---
"Take a seat, I'll make it quick." Ranma waved the girls off, walking down the hall to the bathroom.
The house was a little messy, Rogue noticed. For the amount of people who lived here though, she shouldn't have expected anything less. Besides, the majority of the mess were unfolded blankets in the living room, with stacks of clothes piled against the walls. Wanda was sitting on the couch, watching the Tv and looking the same as she always did, bored.
Risty hmmed, sliding into the recliner. Rogue didn't look all that comfortable here, not that she could blame her. It wasn't a secret she didn't get along well with most of the people here. "So..."
Nabiki quickly brought an end to Risty's attempt at conversation as she came out of her room, feet practically dragging as she groggily stumbled past them towards the kitchen. The fact she was dressed in a loose fitting robe that did nothing to hide her blue bra, and matching underwear, set both girls nerves on edge. Wanda didn't look perturbed in the least, commenting, "She's not her best after waking up. Give her a few minutes, she'll realize what's going on around her before too long."
The sound of Nabiki struggling with something in the kitchen startled Risty and Rogue alike. "Uh.."
Wanda smirked, "Coffee machine, she hates it with a passion."
"Oh.." Risty shrugged. She didn't really feel all that comfortable here, now that Nabiki had shown up acting the way she was.
Rogue twitched, eyeing Ranma as he walked out of the bathroom, his towel barely hiding anything from his waist down. "Ah.. Risty.." she blushed, "Maybe we should.. uh.." She sighed as the guy disappeared into his room, not even noticing she had been watching him.
Risty hadn't seen Ranma, "Hmm? What's that?"
"Eer.. nothin."
Wanda smirked. Risty didn't notice the girls blush, but she certainly did. Geesh Ranma, what kind of hold do you have over girls? First Jean, now Rogue? Hah!
Nabiki came in from the kitchen, a steaming cup of coffee in her hand, while grumbling, "Stupid stupid Mr. Coffee piece of crap.." she ignored the girls as she passed by, crashing on the couch next to Wanda. She blearily looked over the two girls, not even recognizing them at first, "Let me guess.. Ranma, right?"
Risty chuckled nervously, "Uh.. yeah?"
Nabiki snorted, "I swear, I don't get how that guy gets so many girls after him."
Wanda grinned, "Heh. Tab's been trying to get frisky under the covers with him lately."
Rogue blanched. This was definitely not what she wanted to talk about, "Uh.. can we just not talk?"
Nabiki smirked, "Oh, don't worry you're pretty little head off. The guy wouldn't know what to do with a girl even if he wanted too." she took a sip of her coffee then, "Hmm...Tasters Choice.."
Risty blinked, "Uh.. maybe he's just saving himself for that special some one?"
"Probably is." Wanda allowed.
"Heh." Nabiki snorted, "Only girl that'll ever be right for him is some one who just won't take no for an answer."
Rogue really really didn't want to keep this conversation going. "Eh.."
Thankfully, Ranma emerged from his room then. Tossing his shoes to the ground, he quickly stepped into them. "You girls ready?"
"Hell yes!' Rogue snapped, immediately opening the door and stepping out.
Risty blinked, "Uh.. Rogue?" following out after the girl.
Ranma followed after them, confused, "Hey, what's that about? Hey! Wait up!" he waved at the others, "Be back later. Bye!" and shut the door.
Wanda giggled some. That was amusing. Now.. how long would it take for Nabiki to realize who she had been talking too, and just what they were talking about.
"Hey.. did he take any condoms with him? He wouldn't want to knock up either of those bimbos." Nabiki groggily proved she was still far too out of it.
Wanda sweated. She didn't actually think they were going to do something like that, did she?
---
"Hey, wait up!" Ranma sighed, practically flying down the stairs after the two quickly moving girls.
Rogue stopped, breathed in a deep relaxing breath, then exhaled. That had been way too tense for her liking. Damn Nabiki was blunt. "Sorry about that.. jus.." she sweated a little, "Uh.. jus wanna get this date going."
Risty grinned, which only proved to Rogue she had said the wrong damn thing there.
Ranma blinked, then shrugged, "Okay."
As the three began walking, they heard a scream from above them. Looking up, they saw Toad fly off the roof and crash into a tree. Ranma chuckled, shouting, "GOOD JOB FRED! KEEP PRACTICIN THAT SUMO!"
Rogue and Risty both sweat dropped with the response, "RUN LANCE! HE'S AFTER YOU!" and "OH DEAR GOD MAKE THE PAIN STOP!" and of course Fred's battle cry, "DIE WORMS!"
Ranma grinned, "Ah, those guys."
---
Rogue sighed, "Nope. Nothin here worth the time."
Ranma didn't really have much of a preference for a movie, but he'd rather get his skull split in two then see that Titanic Remake, "Eh.. yeah."
Risty grimaced, "This sucks. I was sure that new Matrix segment was coming out today..." she sighed, looking apologetically at her friends, "I'm sorry guys."
Rogue sighed. Well, that sucked. What were they going to do now? She spotted something out of the corner of her eye, a plan coming to mind, "Hey.. why don't we just rent some movies?"
Ranma blinked, following her gaze to a Block Buster "Hey.. yeah, why not? We can go back to my place and watch em."
Rogue blanched. Oh hell no, she wasn't getting stuck in that place with those guys, she'd never survive! "Uh.. second thought.."
Risty waved Ranma's suggestion off, "Nah. We should go back to Xavier's place. They have a big screen TV!"
"Gee.. I dunno.." Ranma grumbled. Xavier's place? Last time he went there he had gotten beat up by a stupid copy of himself.
"Sure." Rogue immediately latched onto that idea. Anything beat going back to the Brotherhood's new pad.
"Eh.. okay I guess." Ranma shrugged, "Les go."
---
"Whatcha pick Risty?" Rogue asked as the three walked back to Xavier's. She hoped they wouldn't mind them claiming the living room like this.
Risty grinned, "The Three Musketeers. You?"
"Eh.." she shrugged, "Evan told me Braveheart was a good movie, s'why I got it." she didn't know it was so damn long though. "You Ranma?"
"Heh." he flashed his tape at them, "Army of Darkness. Sounds like just the thing to get my heart pumpin." This guy Ash looked cool on the cover. Hmm.. chainsaw add on, wonder if it was possible to use in martial arts?
---
"We've arrange everything according to you're specifications, Ms. Frost." Baylor, her personal servant explained. "We've contacted the high school and have arranged for you're records to be transferred from England. You're schedule matches the boy's exactly."
Emma was a beautiful seventeen year old girl, with long blond hair, generous bust, and long shapely legs. She was also just as cunning as she was beautiful, often times using her wit to deceive people with out having to resort to her powerful, yet still growing, telepathic abilities. "Thank you, Baylor. How are my accommodations coming along?"
"We've contacted the apartment manager, he's willing to sign the lease over to you as early as tomorrow."
"Is it right next to Saotome's place of address?" Emma eyed the man, curiously.
"Yes ma'am. His neighbors recently vacated the premises."
"Excellent." she grinned, "Leave the information provided by Ms. Selene, I'll need to review it." she ordered, fingers idly running through her hair as she stared at the country scenery passing by. She had debated about taking a train, or even flying to Bayville, but nothing could beat the calming quality of the countryside. How quaint.
---
Xavier eyed the girl, "Excuse me, Rogue? What was that?"
"Ah, Prof. I was jus wonderin if I could borrow the livin room for the night. Me, Ranma, an Risty rented some movies and thought we'd watch em here." Rogue explained. Ranma and Risty had stayed outside the office.
Xavier smiled, nodding, "Ah. Of course, I certainly do not see a problem with it. Have you informed the other students?"
"Ah, see, that's why I kinda need yer help." Rogue responded, cryptically.
"What's that?" Xavier blinked.
"See, Jean's kinda got the hots for Ranma, but he don't know it. Risty's all like 'Its our date, not hers' and I was wonderin if you could help keep people away? Jus for tonight, please?"
"Hmm." Xavier sighed. Her request wasn't a fair one, after all the other students lived here too, and had a right to do whatever they wanted within the confines of their home. Still.. sitting here, looking at Rogue, and sensing the excitement she was trying to hide behind a bored look, he realized she was actually looking forward to it. "We'll, if it's just for tonight.." he nodded, "I'll see the other students are notified, personally."
"Thank's prof."
After Rogue left, Xavier blinked. "Wait.. Jean.. Ranma?"
---
"Dartanyun! My sister's honor will not wait a moment longer!"
"I'll handle this, guys."
"Dartanyun.. we also protect each other.."
"Heh. All for one! AND ONE FOR ALL!"
Ranma chuckled, "That guy's never gonna learn, is he."
The three of them had claimed the living room, with a little help from Xavier, and were currently spread out over the couch. Risty and Ranma at the ends, and Rogue in the middle, sitting a little bit closer to Risty then she was to Ranma. Popcorn and other condiments littering the coffee table.
"Heh." Rogue chuckled, "Decent movie.."
---
"Look you primitive fuck holes! This is my BOOM STICK!"
Rogue blanched, quickly turning the volume down on the TV. Oh geesh, leave it to Ranma to pick a movie with curse words in it. Oh dear god, she hoped no one heard that!
"Hey!" Ranma shouted, "Come on! Turn it up!"
"No!" Rogue hissed, "Do you want me to get in trouble?"
Risty scowled. It was just getting good. While Rogue was distracted by Ranma, she lunged for the remote, "IT'S MINE!"
"Hey!" Rogue grimaced, struggling with Risty to keep the remote in her grasp.
Ranma wasn't about to be denied, he wanted to see what was happening next. "That's it, you asked for it!" He reached over and started tickling her sides.
"HEY! AHH NO FAIR!" Rogue laughed, finding herself quickly out numbered and the remote ripped away.
---
Risty's head drooped, before snapping back up. Damn, this movie was putting her to sleep. Looking at the clock, she sighed. Nearly two in the morning. No wonder..
"But whom do I send... whom do I send.. surely not my son, the mere sight of him could only encourage them to take over the country... whom do I send..."
Risty spared the others a glance. Rogue had long since passed out, her head rolled back against the couch, hands lying limply in her lap.
Ranma wasn't much better, his head was drooping, he looked ready to pass out right there.
"Heh." she smirked. Leaning over, she carefully, ever so carefully pushed the sleeping Rogue towards Ranma. The unconscious girl didn't even stir as her head crashed lightly against the guy's shoulder. When Ranma startled, her head slipped from his shoulder to his lap, yet she still didn't wake.
"What the?" He blanched, nervously eyeing the girl who's head was in his lap. He looked up to Risty, nearly freaking out. When the girl just raised her finger to her lips, making the SHHHHH gesture, before lying back against the couch and closing her eyes, as if to sleep, it was then Ranma knew he was screwed.
---
Xavier yawned, rolling through the dining room. It was early, extremely so. Aside from him, Storm, and possibly Logan, he didn't think anyone else would be up this early. No, the kids were far too lazy during the weekends, during the time they could relax and not have to worry about their grades or some such nonsense. He blinked as he rolled into the foyer. Logan and Storm both were standing at the entrance to the living room, staring strangely at something.
"Logan? Ororo?" Xavier blinked when Storm turned around, pressing one slim finger to her lips and shushing him.
"Chuck.. check it out." Logan grunted softly, thumbing towards the couch.
Following his thumb, Xavier hmmed. Risty was lying on one side of the couch, sleeping. He almost chuckled at the drool escaping her mouth and pooling in the armrest. Moving on, he felt the sudden urge to get a camera and take a shot of Rogue passed out on the couch, her feet resting in Risty's lap while her head was placed in Ranma's lap. Aww, so cute. Ranma himself was passed out on the opposite side of the couch from Risty, his head rolled back as he lightly snored. "Cute."
"The kids hand Chuck." Logan whispered back, pointing.
Xavier hmmed. His left hand was resting on the armrest, nothing big there. The other one was.. "Oh dear.." Yes, the other one was resting on Rogue's head, and it looked like Ranma was subconsciously rubbing her hair as he slept. The big problem with this, of course, being the fact his wrist was pressed up against Rogue's ear, and he didn't look to be suffering from her drain effect. "Oh.. my."
"I can't believe it.." Stormed breathed out, just as softly, "He's touching her..."
Logan nodded, dumbly. "Looks like Mystique ain't lyin, Chuck."
"So it seems." he hmmed, before clapping his hands together loudly, the noise startling the three kids and waking them up. He breathed a sigh in relief when Ranma removed his hand before Rogue realized he was touching her. The boy rubbed his forehead tiredly, "Ano.. man, what time is it?"
Rogue was too groggy to blush about the way she slept last night, but she would later no doubt. Pushing herself up, she idly rubbed her ear. Weird, felt like something had been pressed against it all night. "Eh.. it's mornin?!?" She baulked once she noticed Storm, Xavier, and Logan staring at them, the men looking on slightly amused, while Storm looked a little freaked about something. "Eh.. I'm in trouble.. huh."
"Not at all." Xavier waved the girls concern off, "We were just wondering if you were up for some breakfast?"
"Heh.." Ranma smirked, "Oh hell yeah."
Xavier nodded, shooting Storm and Logan a warning glance, before rolling on his way. He'd need to think on this, now that he knew for sure Mystique wasn't lying about his abilities.

To Be Continued (Yeah.)
Well, that's the end of that. I told you Emma wouldn't be in this chapter, much, but just wait for the next one. Anyway, the next few chapters will prove to be weird, but that's the point of them. You'll get to see some comedy, some drama, and at the end of the next cluster fuck two characters will kiss. Surprise, surprise.
As for the 'Quotes' from the movies, I went from memory, so they could very well be wrong. Live with it.
This chapter was written listening entirely to the song 'Breaking the Habit' by Linkin Park.
