Scene: with Ranma and Mai

Before Ranma could go to far Mai called him back. Mai wanted Ranma to come with her to talk with the Fatal Fury Team about her new relationship. Mai figured if she told Andy's brother and friends they would have less trouble. Ranma had agreed and both walked to the hotel she and the Fatal Fury Team were staying at. Ranma also mentioned to her that they might not know the damage they had done to her and Andy's relationship.

Mai and Ranma had just stepped into her hotel when she heard a man's voice that she knew call them.

The man's voice was Andy. The handsome, blond man saw Mai walk in the lobby on the arm of Ranma with a brilliant smile on her face. Mai had confided in him on what she was going to do. Andy knew Mai was going to ask Ranma if they could continue seeing each other. Andy saw from Mai's smile Ranma said yes.

Both Andy and Mai had finally made up their minds on what they were. Very good friends. He was happy for Mai and knew that Ranma would be good for her.

"I see that Ranma said yes, huh Mai." Andy teased Mai.

"Yes, but how did you know?" Mai asked.

Andy just laughed a bit and answered. "From the big smile on your face."

Mai just blushed a deep crimson and muttered something about smart jackasses. Andy turned to Ranma and told him that Mai was a great girl and to take care of her. Ranma just smiled reassuringly and nodded.

"Do you know where Terry, Joe, and Mary are right now?" Mai asked Andy. Andy nodded and told them to follow him. Mai had a few things to talk to the rest of the Fatal Fury Team. Ranma and Mai followed the blond Bogard.

The Fatal Fury Team were surprised to see Andy let in Ranma and Mai when they were watching a movie. They were even more surprised when she slapped Terry and Joe and gave Mary a glare. Andy and Ranma kept silent at seeing the sad expression on the beautiful kunoichi's face. Mai started to speak.

"A little while ago I asked Ranma to pretend to be my new boyfriend to make Andy jealous. I expected him to say yes but Ranma said no. He knew about plots like this and knew it would backfire in my face. When Ranma refused he also gave me some good advice and told me not to push it. He told me if I kept pushing and pushing Andy would be afraid of someone who's pushy and won't take no for an answer. I wondered why no one including you three told me. Do you know what Ranma said?"

Mai paused to hear if any of the people in the room had answers.

"He said, 'Maybe they like seeing him squirm and think that it's funny?'

"I thought long and hard on what Ranma said that day and finally decided to have a serious talk with Andy. Andy and I talked and we realized that we had blown any chances for a relationship. One day while sightseeing here I bumped into Ranma while sightseeing and he could tell I was depressed despite the cheerful mask I had on. Ranma offered to help me and I tricked him on a date with me. I told Ranma about what Andy and I talked about and he told me what we or more to the point me what was done wrong. You want to know something."

Mai paused to catch her breath.

"He was completely right on what I had done wrong with Andy. Part of the reason mine and Andy's relationship failed was due to the fact you three did not want your entertainment to go away. Or stop seeing Andy squirm.

"On the way back to the hotel I kissed him and let me tell you if the kiss had gone on we would have ended in bed with each other. He stopped the kiss because he felt he would be taking advantage of me while my feelings were still confused. After that night I decided to ask Ranma if we could keep seeing each other and he had just said yes. I came up here to tell you three since Andy already knew I was going to ask Ranma. Ranma told me you three might not know what you did and seeing from your faces he was right."

Andy was silent thinking on what Mai had said. She had every right to be a little angry with Terry and Joe. Mary was also feeling a little guilty as well. They had no idea they were hurting Mai so much by just watching.

"Why don't you two leave?" Andy asked Mai and Ranma. "I'll take care of things here."

"Mai, wait." Terry Bogard said before Mai and Ranma could leave. "I didn't know and I am sure that Joe and Mary did not know that this was hurting you and Andy that much but I am sorry to you, Mai."

"Same here." Joe seconded Terry. Mary just nodded with a sad expression on her face.

Mai was hesitant to accept their apologies but Ranma came up from behind and wrapped his arms around her waist. Mai was surprised at the comforting action. He whispered in her ear and Mai smiled.

"Apology accepted but you three also owe one to Andy." Mai replied. After that both Ranma and Mai left the Fatal Fury Team's room.

"Thank you Ranma." Mai thanked Ranma for his support. Both Mai and Ranma were in her hotel room sitting on a chair. Ranma was sitting on the chair while Mai was sitting on his lap. Mai's arms were curled around Ranma's neck. Ranma's hands were just holding her in place.

"I was glad to help." Ranma replied. "I'm just glad you got that out of your system before it caused you to do something you would regret."

"Ranma." Ranma turned his full attention to Mai. Mai's voice turned husky. "Before I get tempted to break my promise of letting you control the pace of our relationship you better go."

Mai stood up and Ranma did as well. Ranma gave her one last kiss that left her lips tingling and left.

The time was 7:00 am in the morning. A man with a patch over one of his eyes and a man with blue coveralls were approaching the same door to a hotel room. The room belonged to a Ranma Saotome.

Rock and Heidern each gave the other suspicious looks as the son of Howard knocked on the door. The door opened as Ranma stood there taking a look at both men glaring at each other.

"Heidern-san, Rock, good morning. Come on in and you two can explain why you are here this morning." Ranma invited the two men in his room.

The two men walked in the room and sat in the chairs at the table in the room. The two men decided to keep the hostile glares and what not down to a minimum.

"Rock what's up?" Ranma asked.

"It looks like we were right. Our team will be facing Iori's team in the next match." Rock explained. "However the match will be taking place in America in 3 days."

"Why in America?" Ranma asked Billy.

"Don't really know the true reason mate." The Son of Howard shrugged. "NESTS say that the US invited them there since the KOF has been going smooth, but that is what they say."

Heidern spoke up for the first time. "The true reason is that NESTS has been hit hard by my men in Italy. Thanks to that radio Whip discovered we have been able to really hurt them. I think NESTS has been getting worried that to save anything here in Italy or Europe they must move the tournament. By the way how did you know who were going to be your next opponents?"

"Makes sense dude." Rock agreed. He caught Heidern's surprised look. "What!? These creeps attacked my friend for info on Ranma here I want them taken down and to be completely honest so does Geese. He was very displeased to say the least when the Zero Cannon took a huge chunk of South town out."

Heidern could accept Rock's words.

"When we found out we were fighting last. We kind have suspected NESTS arranged for us to fight last. We did not at the time know if the Kyokugen Karate Team was the one they arranged to fight us. But now we know for sure." Ranma answered Heidern's question. "They arranged both the time and opponents for the first two rounds."

Before the situation between the two men got any worse Ranma asked a question.

"So when is our flight to America?"

"At noon today. I wanted us to be awake and alert with no jet lag hampering us during the fights." Rock answered.

"So who is facing who next round?" asked Ranma out of curiosity.

Heidern thought back to the little report given to him by the tournament official for the second round. "My team is going up against the NESTS Team. Looks like Ralf and Clark will be able to get their shot in at K9999 after all. Whip also informed me that her team would be fighting the Psycho Soldiers Team."

"And since winning teams usually face winning teams, the same goes for losing teams. Therefore, the last two teams in the losers bracket square off against each other. Team Korea against the Kyokugen Karate Team," concluded Billy.

Ranma nodded. "Makes sense. So that leaves the other four teams in the winners bracket."

Rock spoke next. "Got that covered. Mignon talked to some of the Women's Team last night and learned that they would battle against the Fatal Fury Team. Which means the Boss and his team go off against Team Japan. And we get to see another amusing encounter between Mai Shiranui and Andy Bogard."

"Huh?" This confused Ranma.

"Everybody knows how Mai feels about Andy and every year when they fight, she pulls off some weird stunt to make him squirm. It started in 1997 where she told him to stop running and marry her. She even had a wedding dress picked out." Rock chuckled at that memory.

Heidern's cell phone started ringing. He excused himself and stepped out of the room.

'Oh, man...well, since she's going to give me my space in our relationship, I don't have to expect anything like that if I fight her. I hope!!' thought the pig tailed martial artist.

"Well, I guess we better get packing so we can get to our plane in time," stated Ranma.

"Right then. I'll see ya later, Ran." Rock left the room to go pack his own belongings.

Rock was thankful that Iori Yagami wasn't on the same flight as him. He wouldn't admit it to another soul but Yagami still gives him the creeps. He had booked the noon flight because he had learned Iori and his team had left on an earlier flight.

Ranma didn't know the full history between Rock and Iori except the part in which Billy and a ninja by the name of Eiji teamed up with Yagami during a previous KOF tournament. During or after the tournament Yagami gave both Billy and Eiji a vicious beating.

It took the two men a long time to heal from that beating and both men were still a little nervous with Yagami. From what Ranma had heard Eiji refused to enter any more KOF tournaments and Rock still was a little wary of the man.

Chae and Mignon knew more about the history but Ranma knew to get the whole story was to ask Rock about it.

The plane touched down in America and the team had gotten off to collect their luggage and go to their hotel to relax a little. To save money NESTS had booked all the teams in the same hotel.

"Guys, after we get to the hotel just relax and enjoy yourselves but tomorrow we will be doing some light training for the whole day." Rock instructed his team.

All his teammates gave nods to him as they collected their luggage

Rock, Chae, Ranma, and Mignon were getting their room assignments and card keys from the desk clerks. Rock, Chae, and Mignon were already taken care of as Ranma was the last to get his hotel room. Ranma's three teammates waved as they walked to the elevator.

"Ah here you go Mr. Saotome. Room 526." The clerk said. "Oh yes, there is a message for you."

Ranma took the envelope and felt it. He could tell there was a letter plus a card key in it. So he was wondering why he was given a another key.

Ranma shook his head and walked to the elevator. Pushing the button with the up arrow Ranma waited. He didn't have to wait long as the doors opened and he stepped in. Pushing number 5 the doors closed and he opened the letter.

Ranma

I am in room 315 in this hotel. There is an extra key for you to use. Don't worry about using it I trust you. We can just talk if you want. Please make sure I am the only one in the room.

Mai

Ranma thought about this and decided to see Mai after he stopped in his room to drop off his luggage.

Ranma had just dropped off his luggage in his room and was standing outside of Mai's room. He used his senses and could tell that Mai was the only one in the room.

Using the key Ranma stepped into the room. Closing the door Ranma looked around. He knew Mai was in the room but couldn't see her.

"Mai." Ranma called out.

"I'm in here Ranma." Mai called back.

Ranma walked to the door and opened it.

In all honesty he should have expected it. Ranma had just opened the door to a bathroom. A bathroom that contained the usual things. A shower stall, a toilet, a sink, towel racks, and what was taking Ranma's attention was the bathtub.

The thing that was catching Ranma's attention was Mai in the bathtub. A wet, naked Mai. A wet, naked Mai taking a warm bubble bath. The bubbles were hiding a few things but not all. Ranma could see Mai's glorious globes of flesh on her chest. The bubbles were hiding Mai's nipples. Mai's long legs were wet and bare as her feet were on the bathtub's edge. He could see the water and bubbles caressing Mai's body. Ranma's eyes just traced Mai's body as he could not tear his gaze away.

Mai was looking at something that caught her attention. Mai was watching Ranma's pants as she saw Ranma's manhood lengthen and hardened. Ranma was wearing some pretty loose pants on him but even these could not hide Ranma's arousal. Her face was showing its amazement of knowing that Ranma was that big.

Instead of reacting like the girls did in the past Mai did one thing.

Mai just shifted into a more sensuous pose that oozed sexuality and in the most sultry voice she could muster said one thing.

"Ranma if you want you can join me."
