He has had enough. After all the beatings from his fiancée, all the fights from his rivals that would ether never let him speak his side or want to kill him to date Akane, and to top it all off, his mother's contract. Sure, she's accepted him for who he is and his curse, but she's never tore up the contract. In fact, to make sure that she gets her grandchildren, she used it as leverage.

*FLASHBACK*

"Akane, if you're so damn sure it's good, YOU eat it." Ranma said.

"RANMA NO BAKA!" Akane yelled just as she put down P-Chan and was about to swing the mallet, but he grabbed it, and tossed it aside. That's when Soun and Genma pinned him to the ground.

"FOOLISH BOY!" Genma yelled. "You WILL eat Akane's cooking."

"You are her fiancée therefore you will eat it before anybody." Soun said teary eyed.

"Fighting with one's fiancée over something trivial such as food isn't manly." Nodoka said as she held the honor blade tighter to make her point.

`What?!' Ranma said. `I thought she said I…' Just then, Ranma snapped, fought the father's off took a spoon full of Akane's food and shoved it into his mom's and Akane's mouths. They in turned, felt like they was about to die as they started to gag and wheeze. "In case you dopes haven't figured it out, I'M DONE! FINISHED! I AM ENGAGED TO NO ONE! ANYMORE!" When they were done trying to taking Akane's food, the two women as well as the fathers and the rest of the family were shocked. This was when Ryoga, who somehow found the bathroom, jumped into some hot water and went after Ranma.

"RANMA! HOW DARE YOU HURT…" But it was to no avail, for Ranma met he was done with everything, including his honor bound promise as he dumped some nearby cold water on top of Ryoga, who turned to P-Chan right in front of Akane…

"Ryoga… y-y-y-you.... y-y-y…" She couldn't get the words out, but Ryoga knew just what to say for he always thought this would happen one day.

"IT'S RANMA'S FAULT! BECAUSE OF HIM, I'VE SEEN HELL!" But that plea fell on deaf ears.

"SHUT UP AND DIE!" Akane said as she got out her mallet and sent him…

*WHAM*

…into orbit. Akane then turned to Ranma. "AND YOU KNEW?!"

"DAMN RIGHT I DID!" Ranma said still angry. "I HAVE DROPPED HINTS, TRIED TO TELL YOU, BUT HE MADE ME KEEP IT A…"

"SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP! ALL MEN ARE PERVERTS! DIE!" Akane said as she rushed with a mallet, bigger than ever, but Ranma for once…

*WHAM*

…fought back, as he hit Akane in the jaw, knocking her out.

"AKANE!" Sound said teary eye.

"BOY! You will apologize to the girl!" Genma said.

"Yes, other wise…" Nodoka said shaking the blade.

"Forget it Saotomae, they may accept an apology, but I'll make your life a living hell." Nabiki said. Nobody hurts her sisters, no body.

"I DON'T BELIVE THIS! YOU ARE ALL ON… ARGH! FORGET IT! I'M DONE! GOOD BYE TO YOU ALL!" Ranma said as all the pressure finally got to him as he bailed to his room before he started to hurt anybody else, one woman in particular that never did anything to him. That woman watched the whole events unfold, and had only one thing on her mind…

`Oh my… Ranma…'

*END FLASHBACK*

Before Ranma could leave out the window, he needed food for the road, so he went down to the kitchen to get some, when he suddenly heard a nose. `No, not when I'm so close!' Ranma thought, but then he saw…

"Kasumi?" Ranma said. "What are you…?" But he was interrupted.

"Take me with you." Kasumi said about to cry.

"What?!" Ranma said, but remembering to keep quit. "But what about…?" Again, he was interrupted.

"I hate it here!" Kasumi said trying to keep quit too. "I love my family and all, but I feel like a prisoner! And before you arrived, I tried going to college, but dad wouldn't let me! I tried to talk Nabiki into convincing him, but she wouldn't unless I paid her, and when I tried to teach Akane to cook so they can be fine, but she nearly maleted me when I told her she grabbed cooking oil instead of vinegar! I want out of here! Please, take me with you!" At that point, she couldn't hold it in anymore and she started to cry. Ranma looked at her and wondered how could he say no.

"Alright Kasumi." Ranma said. "You can come, but you must practice the arts with me. I'll teach you the basics, but it will be tough." Kasumi just smiled and nodded, and Ranma couldn't help but smile.

It was there fourth week since they left, but their second week in China. They didn't leave any note, didn't tell anybody where they were, which they wanted. Ranma just viewed this as another part of the training trip, but Kasumi looked just amazed.

"I can't believe I'm in China!" She said. "I've always wanted to see the world!" Kasumi told Ranma just before their training.

"Just you wait Kasumi, you'll see the world." Ranma said when he saw her smiling. `God, she's beautiful when she smiles.'

Shining shimmering splendid.

Several minutes into the work out, Ranma was getting a bit hot, so he took off his shirt, something that Kasumi noticed.

`OH MY!' She thought, while blushing. `How could Akane let him slip away? During these two weeks he was kind, caring, and hansom to boot!' Ranma then looked at Kasumi, decided to do something he never had the courage to do with Akane.

"Kasumi. I was w-w-wondering if you want to uh… go out on a date sometime?" Ranma said while blushing.

"I'd love to." Kasumi said smiling.

Later that night in Hong Kong, Ranma and Kasumi were smiling. "That was a great movie. Thanks for the suggestion Kasumi." Ranma said.

"It was nothing Ranma-Kun." Kasumi said with a smile. "But I'm sure you could do those stunts just as good as Jackie Chan, maybe even better."

"You think so?" Ranma asked.

"Sure you can. You even do stunts that he doesn't do." Kasumi said, causing Ranma to have an idea.

"Say, Kasumi? You want to see something cool?" Ranma asked.

"What is it?" Kasumi wondered.

"Let's head up to the roof of that building." Ranma said as he pointed to a nearby structure. A few minutes later, they were up there, but Kasumi was still curious.

"Why did you want to take me up here?" Kasumi asked.

"Hold on to me real tight." Ranma told her and she did so as he carried her and held her tightly because he was roof hopping.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kasumi yelled.

"Kasumi, I got you. Open your eyes." Ranma said as he smiled. She did so, and saw an amazing view.

`It's… It's amazing!' Kasumi thought. `I never knew… I never knew it could be like this!'

`I haven't had this much fun when I was engaged with a girl!' Ranma thought. `The only time I possibly felt this way was when I first met Akane. Could I be…?'

`Oh, I haven't felt this way at all! Not even for Dr. Tofu. I don't want this night to end.' Kasumi thought. `Wait… can it be? Am I…?'

`...in love?' They both thought.

Six months after that fateful night, in Los Angles, Kasumi got her wish as Ranma got down on one knee.

"Kasumi-Chan, I am so glad you have been with me these past seven months." Ranma said. "If you haven't, I would go insane. You are beautiful, wonderful, and I wonder how a guy like me got you, but I don't want to lose you. Will you marry me?" He then got the ring out and Kasumi showed that same smile he fell in love with, complete with a gasp and her hands covering her cheeks.

"YES! I will!" Kasumi said. Two months after that, they gathered the friends they made while in the States, and had a small ceremony. They both knew that this was a new beginning for the both of them.

"…do you, Ranma Saotome take Kasumi Tendo to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?" The priest said.

"I do." Ranma said smiling.

"And do you Kasumi Tendo, take Ranma Saotome to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?" The priest asked Kasumi, who was stunning in her white wedding dress.

"I do." Kasumi said.

"Then by the power invested in me by the State of California and God, I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride." Ranma did so and it was a moment that nether of them will ever forget.

Nine months after that day, Ranma and Kasumi were in the hospital with a few of their friends, and they were still in Los Angelus. They settled into the city shortly after getting married and Ranma took a job teaching at a dojo, as well as stunt coordinator for various movies, while Kasumi took to catering. But they are currently at the hospital, for Ranma and Kasumi received a gift on their Nine month anniversary.

"C'mon Kasumi-chan! Push!" Ranma said.

"I AM! I AM!" Kasumi said, a little bit stressed to say the least.

"Ok Mrs. Saotomae, just one more…" Kasumi did so and the next thing they heard was "WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"Congratulations, it's a girl." The nurse said.

"A girl…" Ranma said smiling, and he saw his wife smile too. `I will never get tired of seeing that.' He thought.

`I have my own child. With the man I love… It's a dream come true.' That day, she felt like she was on cloud nine.

"So, what are we going to name her?" Ranma asked, but she saw his wife was asleep, and he saw their daughter, and smiled.

"Kasumi-chan, what are we going to name her?" Ranma said trying to wake her up.

"Ranko." She said as she opened her eyes and was half awake. "She's Ranko."

"Ranko." Ranma said smiling. "I like that." He then pictured his daughter as various things, from president, to an astronaut, to anything.

"Don't worry little one, I won't make my father's mistake. You can be whatever you want."

Five years after that, Kasumi was blessed with another child, a son named Kai, and Ranma's dojo has gotten attention from all over the state thanks to wining three martial arts tournaments in a row, that he has his future set for his daughters.

(I'm like a shooting star,

But one day, while training his students, he saw something that he never thought he'd see again.

"N-Nodoka!" Ranma said, surprised, but ready to fight for all that he has gained.

Meanwhile, at the Saotomae home, Kasumi heard a knock on the door and she too got a surprise.

"NABIKI!" Kasumi said, but she too was ready to fight for what she has.

(I can't go back to where I used to be)

"If you're here after 5 years, forget it! I don't plan on honoring the seppuku pledge and have my children grow-up without a father or my wife a widow!" Ranma said ready to knock her head off right there at the dojo.

At the Saotomae's house, Kasumi said the same thing.

"Forget it Nabiki! I know why you're here! I have a family now and I'll be damn if you or any of those bastards and bitches that dare call them our friends or family take it away from me! I will NOT have my children be without their father!'

`Nabiki told me about them having a family when she found out where they were, but is this what Ranma thought when I haven't seen him in so…' Nodoka thought while at the dojo entrance in shock.

`Kasumi thinks that… oh Lord…' Nabiki thought at the Saotome house.

`What have we done to them?' Both women, from different locations, thought at the same time.

"Ranma… I…. I…" Not good with the words, Nodoka quickly hands out the blade, still wrapped in its cloth, and quickly bows down. "On the stained honor of the Saotomae family, forgive my past transgressions! I bought into your father's idea of an arranged marriage, that's why I used the contract as leverage! Three months after you left, I realized I was wrong and I should have done that sooner and I tore up the contract! Forgive me! I have no honor, so you must take the honor blade!"

"WHOA! If you think I'm going to do to you what you wanted to do to me with that contract you're wrong." Ranma takes the blade. "It'll take awhile to forgive everybody… but I've never been known to hold a grudge." Nodoka, through her tears, smiled a little. "C'mon. Class got over and I want you to meet your grand-children."

While that went on, at the Saotome house, Nabiki found out that she did get one thing from her father, the speed that he bows.

"I AM SORRY! I never met to hurt you or Ranma!" Nabiki said. "I thought I was doing what was right to keep the dojo afloat and that night, all I could think about was that he hurt Akane, our sister and…"

"Wait a minute Nabiki, Akane's hurt him more times than he's hurt her." Kasumi said still mad and still wondering why her son is still asleep. `Must have gotten it from his dad.'

"I know that. I didn't think my threat or anything I did would drive you two away! Akane was heart broken and she is still mad at both you and Ranma, which is why she, dad, or Mr. Saotome isn't here. She has moved on though, she's with Ryoga. But I'm here now asking you to please forgive me!" Nabiki said nearly in tears.

"Like my husband Nabiki, I don't hold grudges. However, it will take a while to completely forgive you." Kasumi said.

"I-I can live with that." Nabiki said smiling. "How about I meet my niece and nephew?"

"Well, Ranko's at school, but Kai is asleep. If you're quiet, although I doubt a bomb would wake him, you can see him." Kasumi said smiling. But, she was thinking the same thing that Ranma was…

`A new relationship with the very people I wanted to get away from… I never would have seen this coming. Then again, maybe it is time to heal old wounds.'

Summer time had come and Ranma got a call from Sony. When he hung up, he had a look of trouble on his face.

"Dear? What's the problem?" Kasumi asked.

"I got asked to star in a movie." Ranma said.

"That's great!" Kasumi said. "So what's the problem?"

"It's to be filmed in England. It's to be two movies filmed at the same time. I might be there for a year, maybe more." Ranma said. "I'll be away form you guys and…"

"We'll go with you." Kasumi said.

"WHAT?!" Ranma said shocked. "But…"

"Ranma, I love you." Kasumi said. "I will go anywhere with you, no matter how long it will take or we stay there. So will your children." Kasumi then smiled.

"Why does this seem familiar?" Ranma said after a brief chuckle.

One and a half years after the movie's filming, it had its premier in London and LA, and Ranma and Kasumi went to the London one and their kids were with a babysitter. Everybody loved the movie, particularly Ranma's acting and fancy footwork. All the directors and critics that were there told him he had a great future in Hollywood.

Ranma looked at Kasumi and knew what she was thinking, for he was thinking the same thing too. How they got to where they were and how they wouldn't have gotten there if they hadn't left that fateful night.
