Chapter 11: two confrontations
(an: rating pg here...no lemon just a couple of swear words and thats it.)
After Ranma got off his knees, He and Akane turned to the family. Soun and Genma we chanting 'Our schools will be united' Kasumi was in the kitchen making food to celebrate, Nabiki was sitting at the table...no telling what she was thinking, and Happosai, he smirked and started smoking his pipe. As soon as Kasumi came back with the special rice balls, and sake, the party began. Soon Genma and Soun were dancing on the table, Nabiki was getting pictures, Happi was going through his loot and Kasumi was keeping a careful eye on Soun. Ranma looked at Akane and noticed that she was falling asleep. Ranma picked up Akane and carried her up the stairs. Before he even reached the stairs, Kasumi stopped him. She took Akane from Ranma and carried her up to the room. Once she came down, she took Ranma aside to talk.
"Look Ranma, i know you and Akane have been very close this past week, but until you and her take care of your sutors and fiances, there will be none of that in this house. I dont want the house ruined once the NWC get ahold or a wiff of whats going on. You and her need to take care of them first. Then i will alow you to do romantic stuff. I dont care what father says, It wont happen till they get taken care of. Im sorry." Said Kasumi
"I understand Kasumi."
"Good. Im sorry if im harsh, but that is the way it is."
"Understood."
"Now lets go back and celebrate!"
Ranma and Kasumi return to the livingroom where the party was getting underway. Ranma sat at the table not paying attention to any of it. He needed to talk to Akane about what they were gonna do. He decided to do it tomorrow. He excused himself and went to bed...
(AN: naw wasnt gonna leave u hanging! lol...what kind of writer would i be if i did!)
The next day:
Ranma went to wake up Akane. It was saturday and they needed to talk. Ranma decided that the only way they could talk is if he has Akane spar with him. He didnt like the idea but it was the only thing he could do. His father went to tell Ranmas mother about the engagement, Kasumi went to doctor tofu, Nabiki was holed in her room and Soun was passed out in his room. Ranma knocks on the door. No answer, he opens the door and finds Akane sleeping in bed still. He closes the door and walks to her bed. He watches her sleep. He sighs and then gently shakes Akane awake. She didnt stir. He shakes her again and she starts to wake. Akane sits up and rubs her eyes.
"Ranma?"
"Morning Akane."
"Morning. What time is it?"
"after ten am. Hey Akane. come spar with me in the dojo. We need to talk."
*yawn* "Sure Ranma. Just let me wake up and then i will come and join you."
"Okay love." Said Ranma as he leaned over and kissed her forhead.
Akane smiles. Ranma gets up and heads towards the dojo. He does a couple of strech exersices while waiting for Akane. Soon Akane comes and streches too. Once she is done, they get into fighting stance and starts to spar. For most of it, Ranma stopped to give Akane pointers and teach her some moves. After they get done, they sit on the floor. Ranma waits till his and Akanes breathing go down before getting into the real reason thwy were in the dojo.
"Akane, we need to do something about the NWC. In order for us to be happy we need to cancel every engagement. I dont wanna make the girls cry since i dont like girls crying. What do you think we should do?"
"Good question. They are a handful. Hm...Well we do know we have to tell them, so no matter what, there will be broken hearts and tears. But if we tell them all that happened during our vacation, they will try to kill us. I just say talk to them individualy and that will be the end of it."
"Yea but Akane..."
A big exposion is heard. Ranma and Akane turn to the big hole in the wall. Shampoo stands there looking really pissed off.
"Shampoo! You are gonna pay for that!" Yelled Akane
"I dont care what tomboy says. I come for Ranma to explaine."
"Explaine what exactly?"
"Why there are pictures of you and Akane together! I thought you loved Shampoo!"
"Pictues? What pictures?" Asks Akane
"These!" Yelled Shampoo as she tossed them infront of Ranma and Akanes feet
The pictues were actually pictures of Ranma and Akane in compermising positions and cuddling. Both turn red and Ranma turns to Shampoo
"How did you get these? Who took these!" Yelled Ranma
"It dont matter. What matter is Ranma is gonna be with Shampoo, not ugly stupid tomboy. Ranma come to me and lets go back to china and be happy" Said Shampoo
"It does matter Shampoo. Who gave you these? Who! Oh no...NABIKI!" Yells Akane
"Shit. Shampoo...i didnt want it to come to this but i dont want to marry you. I realized that i was never meant to be with you. I was meant for Akane. Im sorry Shampoo. I love Akane...Not you." Said Ranma
Shampoo just stands there and then jumps on Akane. She starts to hit Akane and call her very nasty names in Chinese. Akane tries to fight back but realizes that she cant cuz Shampoo is just hitting her and has her pinned. Ranma notices this too and starts to pry Shampoo off, He finally had enough. He bitch slaps Shampoo to the wall and picks up Akane. Shampoo gets up and glares at Akane. Ranma glares at her and growls.
"Shampoo...If you as so much as hurt Akane again, I will come after you and the old goul and kill you. I dont care about tradition. I will kill you. I love Akane. Not you. SO GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE BEFORE I KICK YOUR ASS ALL THE WAY BACK TO CHINA AND THEN COME AND KILL YOU!" Yelled a very pissed off Ranma
Shampoo sniffs and runs off. Ranma looks at Akane and notices that she fainted. Ranma carries Akane back to her room and sets her down on the bed. He then jumps out the window and heads to the cat cafe. He opens the door and intantly dodges a couple of serving trays. He looks to finds that Cologne was the one that threw the trays at him. She glares at him.
"Look old goul i came to set things straight." Yells Ranma
"You mean appolgising to Shampoo and marring her?" Asks Cologne
"Unfortantly, no. I came to set things straight that i have choosen Akane as my wife, not Shampoo. Im sorry." Said Ranma
"That is unfortant son- i mean Ranma." Said Cologne
"Why is that?" Asks Ranma
"Well in tradition with the tribe if Shampoo doesnt marry the one guy who defeats her, they want her put to death." Said a sad Colonge
"Are you serious? Thats a bit harsh. Isnt there a way around it?" Demands Ranma
"Im sorry but there isnt. I should know, im one of the elders of the tribe. There is no loophole." Says Colonge
"Man. Is there anything i could do, besides marry Shampoo?" Asks Ranma
"That is the only way Ranma. She must return to china and be put to death by the head elder of the tribe. I know you feel bad Ranma but i had a feeling that Shampoo wasnt gonna be married. I just wish i could turn back time and made sure that it wasnt you that she had to fight against and try to make be her husband." Said Colonge
"So when do you guys leave?" Asks Ranma
"In a couple of weeks. I have to take care of things here, then pack and trap shampoo. She will remain in cat form till we get there so she doesnt shame herself in running away." Said Colonge
"Okay. If there is anything i could do, let me know colonge. Again i am sorry."
"I know Ranma, i know. You better go." Said Cologne
Ranma turns and walks away from the shop. He looks to the sky and sighs. He starts to head towards home when he gets hit with a spatula. He turns around to find a very pissed off Ukyo. He slowly backs up against a wall.
"Ranma honey is the pictures true? Are you gonna be Akanes husband?" Yelled a very pissed off Ukyo.
"What pictues?" Asks Ranma
"These!" Yelled Ukyo as she threw 2 pictures down on the ground infront of Ranma
Of course these pics are only of Ranma and Akane cuddling. Ranma sighs.
'Thank goodness she hasnt seen the other pictues. I have to go yell at Nabiki when i am done here. She is causing us too much trouble.' Thought Ranma
"Well!" Yelled Ukyo
Ranma takes a deep breath
"Yes Ukyo. These pictures are the real deal. I am sorry but i null our engagement. Im sorry Ukyo but i now realize that i love Akane." Said Ranma
"How can you love her? She is a tomboy! Im the cute fiance! Why Ranma?" Yells Ukyo
"I just came to my senses thats all. I am sorry Ukyo."
"Sorry? But i love you Ranma! I always have! Even before your father made the arrangement!" Yelled Ukyo
"Im sorry but i cant return those feelings Ukyo. Please understand this."
"No i wont...Ill never forgive you Ranma. I hope you rot in hell!" Yelled Ukyo before she throws another Spatula at Ranma.
Ranma dodges it and watches a fleeing Ukyo. He sighs and heads towards home. He enters the house and calls out. Akane yells at him that she is in the living room and that everyone went out. Ranma heads towards the living room to find Akane on the floor, watching tv...with...P-chan...
