Broken Hearts
Chapter 9

Kai-Ranma continued to hold Akane as he said two words “Mate safe.”
Kai-Ranma carried Akane to a camp site so that they could talk about what was going on and how to resolve all of there problems.
End flashback
Kai-Ranma continued to hold Akane as he stared at her then Kai-Ranma he noticed that Akane was watching him. “Ranma what do you mean by mate safe?” asked Akane.
Before Kai-Ranma could respond to Akane’s question. Several individuals showed up including Sango and her brother Kohaku who still had a tainted jewel shard in him. Miroku turned to Ranma and was about to ask him about the powerful demon aurora that surrounded him. But before he could Sesshomaru started to ask Ranma some questions.
“What are you demon? First you have the smell of a tiger demon then it vanishes then it's back stronger than ever? But is not least of my concerns; like what kind of forbidden spell that you cast on Naraku that destroyed his soul and the rest of his incarnations? Then there is some kind of magical aurora around you demon?” Asked a very puzzled Sesshomaru.
“What I am is none of your business dog demon and besides the only person that I own a explanation to is my mate.” exclaimed Kai-Ranma.
“That is where you are wrong.” said Miroku who was listening to the exchange.
“Ranma what are they talking about? I do not understand what is going on.” asked a very confused Akane.
“Akane my mate as I told you before we have a lot to talk about and this does not concern them at all.” Kai-Ranma informed Akane.
“That is were you are wrong demon!” said Sango as she came up to Kai-Ranma with her giant boomerang ready to inflict damage on Kai-Ranma.
Akane stood up and glared at Sango then she produced her mallet and was ready to use it against Sango and those that had disturbed her time with Ranma. As this was happening Kagome noticed that Inu brothers were getting ready to fight against Ranma and Miroku was getting ready to dispel the demon from Ranma.
Kagome yelled “Everyone stand down now!! Until we get some as to what is going on.”
All eyes turned to Kagome as she looked to Akane to answer some questions. “Akane will you please answer some questions as to who that is and what kind of demon he is?”
Akane looked confused as she answered “Ranma is not a demon. He is in fact the father of my unborn child.”
Miroku looked at Akane and said “Ranma has a very a strange aurora about him. Ranma is giving off a tiger demon aurora.”
Akane looked at Ranma and said “If Ranma is possessed then it’s his father’s fault because demon’s only wish to protect Ranma from any and all threats.”
“Akane is right about me. I am the demon that was summoned and possessed Ranma. My name is Kai-Ranma and I can not removed from host without consequences and they are 3 souls will die if I am removed.”
“How is that possible?” asked Sesshomaru.
“If I am removed the then host will die and so will Akane and her unborn child.” Kai-Ranma responded. Then he looked at Akane and said “Kane and I are soul bound if one of us dies then the other one will die.”
“That does not explain the weird and powerful demon aurora that you have.” said Miroku.
“That is something you would have to ask Celeron-Ranma because he is the original personality of the split. I do not know but he is someone that I consider my friend.” Kai-Ranma responded.
Kagome asked Kai-Ranma “Where is the Shikon no Tama because the only shard that I sense is the one Kohaku has and not the shards that Naraku had. I did not see it on the battle field at all. So my questions are where is the Shikon no Tama and how did you destroy Naraku and the remaining incarnations?”
Kai-Ranma responded “I have hidden it because of how dangerous it is. As for your second question I used a spell called soul destroy and what that entails is all that is connected to the person or demon that is part of it then it turns them to ash. Making it so that they can not be reincarnated. And to answer the dog demons question as to where I learned that forbidden spell. I actually created it so I know how it works.”
“Can I talk to Ranma and see if we can work out things between us?” Asked Akane.
After Akane had asked Kai-Ranma to get Ranma. Kai-Ranma then asked Akane “Can I sleep in your lap?”
“Sure you can.” Akane told Kai-Ranma.
Akane sat down and patted her lap and Kai-Ranma laid down in Akane’s lap and took a nap.

Kai-Ranma called Ranma over to discuss what Akane wanted to talk about.
Ranma walked over to talk to Kai-Ranma. “Well did you find Akane and work out the problems with her?” Asked Ranma.
“I found Akane and we managed to save her but she is really mad at you and wants to talk to you and work out your differences.” Kai-Ranma informed Ranma then he told Ranma that “Celeron-Ranma has plans to get our life back in our hands and we will be the ones calling the shots. So when you are done talking to Akane have Celeron take over.”
“Alright I will take over and apologize and beg for her forgiveness.” Ranma said as he prepared to take over and get Akane to forgive him.

When Ranma awoke he saw that he was in Akane’s lap with several eyes staring at him as if waiting for some kind of explanation as to what was going on.
“Akane can I talk to you alone please?” Asked Ranma as he slowly stood up with his hand out stretched out to Akane to take.
“Sure Ranma let’s go over there by those trees to talk about our problems and hopefully get out our feeling for each other.” Said Akane as she took Ranma’s hand and stood up then started walking towards so trees that were in the distance.
