Chapter Two: Here Comes Our Ranma!
-------------------------------------------------------
The birds sung over the Tendo dojo in the skies, announcing a new day. What a great and nice sunny Sunday morning, eh? If anyone were to disagree, he or she would have to see to it to the Tendo patriarch himself. Because he was one of the lucky people to enjoy such a morning. And he, also, was one emotional man you wouldn't want to argue with. Have some trust here, because if you won't, you'll regret it.
Tendo Soun sighed as he browsed through his mail. Nothing but the usual stuff; advertisements, advertisements, and more advertisements. Oh, he had one bill here. He'll probably just leave it to Nabiki. Soun smiled. That little girl of his is such a moneymaker! He was so proud of her. Why, he can't just imagine what his life would have been like weren't for Nabiki helping with the household income. And there also was Kasumi, who takes care of all of the housework. Now, if only Akane can be more helpful like her elder sisters...
He eyed his mail once again. Oh? He had a post card! Idly, he started reading it silently to himself. Suddenly, upon finishing, he dropped the rest of his mail on the ground and completely forgetting all about them, as if they weren't there to begin with. His eyes widened as the hand holding the card began to shake. Tears, tears of joy started running through his cheeks.
"Finally..." He said between sobs. "Finally," he repeated, "the time has come." His sobbing got a little louder. Oh, what a joyous day! A day he's been waiting for ages now. And it came! It finally came! To make sure he had made no mistake, Soun read the card, aloud, one last time.
"Bringing Ranma from China.
Your old friend,
Genma."
He had to tell his little girls of the great news! Quickly, he went to call his eldest daughter, Kasumi, first. Running into the kitchen, he called her.
"Kasumi!" he exclaimed with happiness.
She turned from her cooking to him with a warm smile. "Yes, Father?"
"Could you wait for me in the living room, please? I have something to say to you girls!" he said, filled with excitement.
"Why, of course, Father."
"Thank you, Kasumi," he quickly left to get his middle daughter.
---
Nabiki yawned loudly as she rolled into a more comfortable position on her bed. She was currently busy reading a manga at the moment. If one would look closely at the cover, one would see a cyan-haired beauty squeezing a very nervous black-haired boy into a tight hug. This is one of the best manga in her huge collection. She greatly enjoyed reading this when it was out years ago, and she still does! Manga-collecting is a hobby she greatly enjoyed. That, and collecting more and more money, of course. Heh heh heh...
Just then, the sound of thunder cracked outside the window. That's funny, she was sure she that the weatherman had said that it would be a sunny day. But on the other hand, this IS Nerima after all. Strange weather isn't a very odd thing here.
She started, then, to wonder what that silly Ryo-chan was doing now; however, such a thought did not go on due to the door of her room had been flung open.
Blinking in surprise, she looked at the intruder of her room only to face her oh, so precious daddy. And he seems to be wearing a face she rarely saw on him. One filled with extreme excitement and happiness. Jeez, that father of hers, hadn't he ever learned how to knock?
"Nabiki!" he almost yelled, "I have called for an important family meeting; please wait at the living room while I go call Akane!" he exclaimed.
"Uh, sure thing, Daddy," raising an eyebrow, she agreed, "whatever you say."
Nodding at this, Soun ran to his youngest daughter's room.
---
Soun slammed open the door to Akane's room.
"Akane!" He looked around, but ah, the room was empty. Frowning, he went back to the living room.
---
"Akane? Where is that girl?!"
Sitting at the table in the living room, the girls looked dumbly at their father. Was it just them, or was he about to start crying again?
Nabiki sighed and stood. "I'll get her, Daddy."
Soun brightened a bit. "Thank you, Nabiki."
"Yeah, don't mention it..." she grumbled, and went to where her younger sister is probably at; the dojo.
---
"HIIYAH!!"
And thus, Akane sent another block, with a mere punch, to its doom.
"Jeez, Akane, no wonder the boys think you're so strange." A hint of sarcasm was within the voice.
Akane blinked as she faced her speaker. "Nabiki! That was kind of rude, you know!" Akane frowned. "You could have said something instead of just standing there!" the younger girl complained.
"You're one to talk, Akane," she turned and headed back. "Daddy wants to tell us something, Akane; you better hurry up."
Akane glared at Nabiki's back. Couldn't she be a bit nicer?
---
Meanwhile, somewhere in Nerima...
Mosquiton smiled.
Ah, what a beautiful rainy weather! A weather that every vampire, such as Mosquiton, enjoys. Widening his cheerful smile, he clenched his newly acquired bamboo umbrella tighter. It's a good thing he decided to go shopping today, otherwise he wouldn't be enjoying this beautiful weather now, would he?
"Master," Ryouga looked towards the voice. It was Chibi Hono holding an umbrella and some plastic bags; next to him, a cute girl, Yuki, was walking with him, also holding some plastic bags.
"Hai, Hono?" He replied in his usual cheerful tone.
"Why are we shopping for more human food?" he said, frowning. "We don't need this stuff!" Raising his hand, he shook the bags.
"That's right! That's right!" nodding, the young girl agreed with the boy once again. "We don't even have to listen to that human girl, too! We could just get rid of her, Master!" she had a proud look on her face.
"Now, now," Ryouga said, disapprovingly. "After all, we're not in the 17th century anymore," he tried to say it in an intellectual tone. "We need to get used to modern life."
"But-" the young kids were cut-off by a loud shouting.
The trio, along with the whole people walking on the street, gave their attention the girl shouting in the middle of the empty street. She was teen-aged, no older than 16, along with long red hair that almost reached down to her knees in a long pigtail, and was wearing a red Kung-Fu Chinese shirt and black pants.
"Oyaji!" she shouted loudly. "You little disgusting piece of shit!" The crowd winced at her rough language. She took a fighting stance. "Fiancée my ass! I'm going straight back to China, and that's final!"
The crowd gasped as a large panda came out of nowhere.
Mosquiton raised an eyebrow. A panda, eh? Things could get really interesting around here... He didn't really know if that's a good or a bad thing.
"Growf! Growf!" the panda spat some non-intellectual speech and, to the people's surprise, got into similar fighting stance to that of the girl. After a few seconds of eyeing each other, the two went on trading blows until the girl managed to with her amazing speed to kick him away making the panda fall face-first into the hard pavement.
She picked up a pack and turned her back to him. "Hmph!" she frowned. "See ya later, oyaji," with that, she walked away in a slow pace.
The panda rose to his feet shakily and shook his head. Why that ungrateful... He spotted a metal street sign. Hmm, that would most definitely be useful now, wouldn't it? He grinned. He pulled out the sign with his great strength, and walked to the not expecting girl.
The young girl stopped as she noted that the large shadow below her wasn't hers. "Oyaji..." she said through gritted teeth before the sharp pain and the darkness consumed her vision.
The trio, including the rest of the crowd, winced as the panda hit the girl with the sign. That ought to hurt!
"Master," Hono started, "is that the modern way of life now for these humans?"
"I don't think so, Hono," he replied, "after all, the people seem surprised, too..."
---
"WHAT?!! Fiancé?!"
Nabiki, who was sitting next to Akane, rubbed her right ear gently. Damn, could she shout any louder? She ignored the angry girl and faced her father.
"Daddy," she said calmly, "who is this Ranma?" She paused. "Is he cute?"
"Um, well, I..." her father stuttered.
"Yes, Father," Kasumi agreed, "who is this Ranma, and how old is he?" she asked a bit worriedly, "younger men are so boring..."
"I don't know," he said flatly.
~Twitch~
"You don't know?" Nabiki repeated slowly.
Akane seemed like a time bomb near explosion.
Kasumi merely blinked.
"I've never met him," he explained calmly. "The engagement was set long ago, before any of you girls were even born," he took some time to swallow. "Ranma is the heir of the Musabetsu Kakutou Saotome Ryuu, and he is also the son of a very old friend of mine. If any of you three were to marry him, the school's legacy would be secure," he had a serious face.
"B-But, Dad!" Akane argued, "you can't just marry us to a complete stranger like that!"
As much as she hated it, Nabiki had to agree. "She's right, Daddy. We don't even KNOW this Ranma."
"Ah, yes, but that's easily fixed, isn't it?" He smiled.
"But, I'm not marrying some... some..." Akane searched for the right word, "boy!" And there you have it, the perfect word.
"Jeez, Akane, he might be actually cute for all we know," and profitable, Nabiki added to herself.
"Nabiki! How can you say that?!" Akane yelled.
"Oh, my," her younger sisters are fighting again.
"Hmph! Unlike you, Akane, who hates boys so much, I have femininity," that did it.
"Wh-wh-what?!" she banged the table.
"Hit a nerve, did I?"
"Now, girls, girls!" their father yelled, "Enough of this! They're going to show up any minute now, so show some proper respect to our guests, all right?"
"Why, of course, Daddy!" Nabiki smiled innocently.
"Yes, Father," Kasumi gave one of her infinite supply of bright smiles.
"Grr... Yes, Dad," Akane growled.
"Good, good." He, too, smiled at his daughters. He was so proud of them. Yes, proud indeed.
Then, some shouting was heard at the gates. "Oyaji! Leggo of me!"
"Ohhh! That must be Ranma!" Nabiki said, excited.
"Saotome, old friend!" Soun shouted with joy.
They both stood ran towards the voices with the eldest and youngest Tendo daughters following slowly.
"AHHH!!" Nabiki, with her father, came back running with panicked faces.
"What's up?" Akane's eyes winded as a large panda entered the hallway carrying a struggling redhead over its shoulder.
"Oyaji, you're scaring 'em, you idiot!" the redhead yelled angrily, "Put me DOWN!!"
The panda sat the redhead in front of Soun.
"You..." he swallowed. "You can't be..."
"Saotome Ranma," she said, "sorry 'bout this."
"Ohhh! He's cute!" Nabiki rushed to Ranma's side for a closer look. Hmm, strong feminine features, but still cute, nonetheless.
"Hmph!" Just who needs boys, anyway? Akane sure doesn't!
"Ah!" Soun found his absent voice. "You finally came!" He attempted to crush Ranma in a hug.
"Whoa!" Ranma quickly avoided his hug and leapt on the panda's head.
"Growf!!" The panda tried not to lose its balance.
Ranma tried to get as high as possible. "D-Don't touch me!!" she yelled.
Confusion was written all over their faces. "R-Ranma... What is wrong?" Soun asked worriedly. "Please get down, my daughters and I mean no harm."
Ranma sweatdroped. "That's not what I'm afraid of!" He pointed at Soun. "I'll get down if you promise not to touch me."
The Tendos looked at each other in confusion. Just what on Earth is going on here?
Nabiki frowned. Just what was he saying? Something is definitely funny going on here, and she felt something strong coming out of him as well, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
Akane was angry. How dare he speak to her father so? Akane was right; boys are all worthless scum. Akane was about to say something, but got cut-off by Nabiki.
"I'll handle this, Daddy." Nabiki walked from behind and passed her father to stand between him and the panda. "Okay, my father won't touch you, I guarantee it." She said. "So will you come down now?"
Ranma looked little hesitant, but then, the panda smacked him down with a wooden sign.
"OW!!" Ranma rubbed his head with both hands. "Damn you!" He glared daggers at the panda as he stood.
"{You deserve it, boy!}" The panda held a sign. Ironically, it was the same sign he hit Ranma with.
Frowning again, Nabiki glanced at Ranma's chest. It's a bit 'too' big, isn't it...? Lifting her right hand, she reached and squeezed lightly.
"H-Hey!!"
Deepening her frown, she glared at her father. "Ranma's not a boy!" she yelled. "She's a girl!"
"Wh-what?!"
Nabiki turned Ranma towards her father and squeezed her breasts in a manner that made it stand out. "Look!"
Soun promptly fainted.
Upon falling, the daughters rushed to their father.
"Oh, my! Father!"
"Dad!"
"Oh, boy."
---
The Tendo daughters, Saotome girl, and the panda sat near the fallen Soun.
"Oooh," Soun moaned.
"Look! He's waking up!" Akane noted.
"This all your fault, Daddy," Nabiki started, looking disappointed. "And here I was getting all excited over nothing."
"I am sure Saotome had said that he had a boy," her father argued.
Boy? Boy, he says? "Does this," she grabbed Ranma's breast again, "look like a BOY to you?" she replied.
"Um... Could you... stop that?" Ranma said in annoyance.
"Nabiki!" Akane frowned. "He- err, she," she corrected, "is our guest, so cut it out!"
"Hmph," and Nabiki did. She really wasn't in the mood for an argument with her sister right now. After all those fantasies of having a sla- errr, fiancé, to take care of her, she was utterly crushed.
Ignoring Nabiki, she went to Ranma's side. "Hi, I'm Akane," she said cheerfully and smiled. "Wanna be friends?"
"Uh," Ranma stared at the smiling face of Akane. Friends, friendship, a friend; something she has always sought and longed for. Something she rarely found. Something she wants. "...Sure."
"Hey, I'll show you the dojo! C'mon!" Akane pulled the other girl up and ran with her, leaving her father and Nabiki argue.
---
"So, you know Kempo, right?"
Ranma looked around the dojo; it was one definitely of the best dojos she has seen. "Uh, a little."
"How about we have a little match, then?" Standing across of her, she took a fighting stance.
"W-what?"
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you."
"Okay," Ranma stood with his arms at his back.
Waiting a few seconds, Akane charged at the other girl with a simple punch and a kick that Ranma effortlessly avoided.
Again and again she attacked, one blow after another, more effort in each new blow. She has, however, met with no success in hitting the other girl.
Blinking in confusion, Akane wondered why she couldn't get any hits in; she was going all out! Not even Kuno could beat her when she fights seriously. Just how is this possible? She was, no, is the best in Nerima! This shouldn't be a problem, right? It's not like she could read her moves or anything; that's impossible!
Frowning in anger, she charged at the girl with a few more useless blows, and cornered her to the wall. This was her chance. Now or never.
"I have you!" She made a thrust forward with a punch in all her might, only to watch as her arm goes under a flying Ranma and through the wooden wall.
Before everything could sink in her mind properly, she felt a tap on the back of her head.
"I win," said a cocky voice.
Turning slowly to face Ranma, she gave a small smile. "Wow, you're good!" she rubbed the back of her head.
"But of course!" Ranma grinned. "I'm the best!"
For a few moments, they laughed.
"Hey," Akane started, "I'll show to your room! C'mon!" she exclaimed excitedly.
"Uh, okay," she agreed. "Let's go."
---
Ranma walked around in the empty room. There were two futons ready for her and that stupid oyaji of hers already. Hmm... She almost forgot what it feels like to sleep under a roof for a change. She was always moving on, from here to there, one spot from another. This kind of change will be very welcomed.
"Well, here we are," Akane informed her. "If you need anything just tell Kasumi, okay? She'll be more than happy to help."
"All right, thanks," Ranma smiled.
"I'm going to my room for a while, well, see ya!"
Ranma watched Akane open the door.
"I'm just glad that you're not a boy," Akane began, startling Ranma.
"Huh?" Ranma stared at Akane's back.
"It's just that... I can't stand the fact that I lost to a boy," Akane turned her head and smiled. "I'm just lucky, I guess, huh?"
"Um, uh, yeah..." Ranma rubbed the back of her head.
Still smiling, Akane shut the door.
With her index finger supporting her forehead, she lowered her head with closed eyes and sighed. "This is bound to cause a lot trouble. So much for being friends..." she sulked. Ranma sighed once again and shook her head. Trouble just seems to follow her everywhere since that damned trip to China. "God, I hate my life." Just when she thought things would get a bit easier on her again, she remembered that it's impossible to find some peace. And whose fault was that? Her stupid old man, of course! Who else? Dragging her off here and there, causing trouble everywhere, and who fucking pays for it? Ranma does! Who fucking else? She gritted her teeth.
She looked around. Well, now what? What does she do now? Just then, she heard a knock on the door.
"Come in."
Ranma was greeted by the smiling face of Kasumi. "Oh, there you are, Ranma."
"Is something wrong?" Ranma asked.
"No, no, everything is fine," she assured her. "I just came to tell you that the bath is ready."
"What? Bath? No, I don't think I should..."
"You were just practicing with Akane, right? Go take a bath, I insist." She gave him a look.
Ranma watched her giving him a look. And, oh boy, she knew that look. It's one of those looks that yell 'You can't refuse no matter what you do.' Pretty creepy, huh? Well, Ranma really hates those looks, too; they greatly annoy her.
Gulp. "Okay, if ya say so."
---
Tears went down on his cheeks. As Soun wept, he placed his cup of tea on the table in front of him. He has understood it all. The hardships of a true martial artist, they are truly frightening indeed. Verily frightening. He couldn't help but feel that something was amiss, though. But that isn't of importance now.
Soun faced the other weeping man sitting on the other side of the table in front of him. He was wearing a white karate gi and wore a bandana on his head. They both sat there and wept at the horrors of life; the life of a martial artist.
"I understand, old friend," Soun said. "So that's what happened."
The other man simply nodded.
Unbeknownst to them, a curious Nabiki took a peek in the room.
"*Jeez,*" she thought, "*what weirdoes,*" just who is that man? She'll ask Kasumi, she might now.
---
"Hey, Kasumi,"
Turning her head form the sink, she faced her sister. "Yes, Nabiki, what is it?"
"Who is that man with Daddy over there?" She asked, pointing toward the living room with her thumb.
"I'm afraid I don't know, Nabiki. He just appeared out of no where a few minutes ago..." she told her confused sister.
"I see," she frowned. "Well, thanks, anyway," and with that, she left Kasumi with her work.
---
"Akane!" Nabiki knocked on Akane's door. "The bath shoould be ready by now!"
"Okay! I'll be there in a minute!" Akane replied.
---
"Ah!" Ranma grinned. What a relaxing bath! He hadn't had one in ages! He missed the great feeling of taking one ever since that, gah, trip from China. Nothing is better than getting his original body again. Being male again was too good. He just HAD to get rid of the damn curse. Speaking of his curse, what should he do now? The Tendos might freak out if he got out as a man.
"Bah. They'll find out sooner or later, anyway," he paused a bit. "Oyaji'll probably tell 'em no matter what I do, too."
Hmm, he took a long time in this bath already; he should go out now and explain things. Yeah, that's it. That's what he'll do.
Before he could even stand properly, the door in front him slid open revealing a naked Akane with a towel in one hand. In shock, and not knowing what to do, Ranma simply stared with wide eyes and an open mouth.
Akane, on the other hand, just closed the door.
Finally recovering, Ranma sighed as he stood. "The trouble begins," he heard a loud scream and the sound of running footsteps.
---
Soun's joyous laughs with his friend were interrupted as, what seemed to be, Akane's scream shook the Tendo household.
"What's going on?!" Soun inquired.
Soun and his friend immediately snatched away what's on the table as Akane rushed across the living room and held it up above her head and growled.
Walking in with a scowl, Nabiki complained. "Akane, what are-" She deepened her scowl and pointed at the table. "Hey! That table's expensive! Put it down," she warned her sister. "You still owe me 5000 yen for the vase you broke!"
Akane yelled in frustration. "There's a pervert in the bathroom!"
"What are you talking about, Akane? If there's a pervert, then why didn't you beat him up?" Nabiki questioned her.
"Because I got scared! That's why!" Akane answered angrily.
"Oh? The almighty Akane? Scared of some boy?" Nabiki joked. God, was she enjoying this!
"Why you..." Akane shook with anger.
"Umm... Excuse me..." Nabiki heard a voice behind her. She turned only to come face to face with a tall young man with blue eyes and a sheepish smirk. She took a few steps backwards, and into the living room. He followed her and stood there with his right hand rubbing the back of his head. He was tall, taller than her father, with a long pigtail reaching all the way to his knees, and was wearing a sleeveless red Chinese shirt and kung-fu pants.
"Oh, my!" He turned to see Kasumi at the door. "Who might you be?"
"Uh," after Kasumi entered, he faced every person within the living room, "I'm Saotome Ranma; sorry 'bout all of this."
"Let me explain." The three confused daughters looked toward their father. "Akane," Soun addressed his youngest daughter, "put that table down and sit, we have a lot of explaining to do.
"R-right!" Akane did as her father ordered and sat down. Her sisters followed suit and sat next to her.
This new Ranma went and sat next to the man that's wearing a karate gi.
"Now, where to begin..." He extended his open palm at the middle-aged man. "This is my good old friend, Genma. And this," he pointed at the boy, "is his son, Ranma."
"W-wait a minute! Ranma was a girl just a while ago!" Akane argued.
"Yes, I'm getting to that," Soun tried to assure her. "It all started on their trip from China, in which the tragedy happened."
"China?" Nabiki questioned.
"Yes," Genma answered. "It happened when we finally reached the sacred training grounds of Jusenkyo. Oh, what a tragic day that was," Soun began to cry at that moment. "The sacred grounds of Jusenkyo contained countless springs, these springs cursed any who had the misfortune of falling into them," he adjusted his glasses and continued, "Each spring has its own different, yet similar, curse; it turns anyone into whatever drowned in there."
Looking at the three daughters' looks of doubt, Genma continued. "Observe." In quick motion, he grabbed Ranma by his shirt and threw him outside the room through the back door and into the pound.
A loud coughing is heard. "What the hell was that for?!" Ranma yelled as she stood.
Standing at the door, Genma wept. "Oh, how it pains my heart to see my precious son like this! My only son!"
Filling a nearby bucket with water, she rushed at her father and threw the bucket at his face. "Shut the hell up, you stupid panda!"
The daughters, minus Nabiki, stared in shock at the two fighting Saotomes.
Nabiki was lost in thought. This was interesting, very interesting. Curses mean magic, and magic to her means money, and money is a must have! Having this Ranma around would be useful, wouldn't he?
"Dad," Akane began, "why are you friends with them?"
"They weren't always like this, you know," Soun muttered. "As you can see, Ranma fell into the Spring of Drowned Girl, and Saotome into the Spring of Drowned Panda."
"Damn you, oyaji! Damn you to hell!" Ranma cursed at her father. "This is all your fault!"
"{Quiet, boy! Can't you bear any responsibilities for once in your life?}" Genma countered.
"Responsibilities? This is YOUR fault not mine!"
"Ahem!" Soun walked toward the two with a kettle in hand. "Cold water triggers the change, to reverse the effects of the curse, simply use hot water." He poured the contents on the panda's head.
"YOW!! Hot water, Tendo! Not boiling!" Genma danced around the yard.
Thanks to Genma's warning, Ranma avoided Tendo's attempt at soaking her. "Whoa! Watch it!"
"Well, Ranma, your problem isn't too bad after all," Soun stated and stood next to him. He then extended his hand toward his daughters. "Akane, 16, Nabiki, 17, and Kasumi, 19," he smiled. "Choose any of them to be your future wife."
Ranma was not pleased. "Hey, wait a minute! I didn't agree to-"
"Akane wants him, father!" Kasumi, who had been silent all this time spoke and pushed her sister forward. Sorry, Akane-chan, but Kasumi doesn't really want Ranma.
"Hey, wait, Kasumi?! How can you say that?!" Akane asked, as if betrayed.
"Well, Akane, you don't like boys, but Ranma's half a girl," Kasumi explained.
"B-but-"
"Oh! What joyous day!" Soun cut her off. "A fiancée is finally decided!"
"Indeed, Tendo!" popping out of nowhere, Genma agreed.
Nabiki simply smiled at the turn of events. That Akane, can't even handle such a situation. She raised her hand. "I'll take him, Daddy."
For one full minute of dead silence, they all stared at Nabiki, as if she grew horns. She decided to break the silence.
"Well, Daddy, Akane doesn't seem to want him, isn't that okay with you?"
"Um, uh, well... No, not at all,"
"Good," she smirked. "Ranma doesn't mind too, of course, right, Ranma?"
"Um, well, I..." she said nervously. She wasn't really sure what to say when a girl kind of proposes to her...
"Well, it's setelled then, Tendo!" Genma laughed, and hit his friend's back.
"WHAT?!" Akane finally snaps out. "Nabiki! How can you marry that perverted freak?!" Akane protested angrily.
"The hell?" Ranma? Him? A pervert? How dare she call him that! "Hey, wait a minute, what do you mean pervert?"
"You saw me at the bath, you pervert!"
Hmph! She thinks she can't get away calling him a pervert with just that? He'll show her! "YOU'RE the one who walked in on me, you tomboyish gorilla!"
"What did you say?!" Akane exploded with anger.
As much as Ranma enjoyed teasing this stupid tomboy, she had much better things to do. "Hmph! I have no time for this fiancée crap! I'm leaving." She started walking away.
"Wait, boy! Where do you think you're going?" Genma asked with a scowl, no way in hell is he going to let just Ranma leave like that.
"Back to freaking China! Sorry, oyaji, but I have more important things to take care of. Like finding a cure for this curse, you irresponsible moron."
"And you!" Ranma turned at Akane and pointed at her. "What the hell are you so angry about? With that flat chest of yours, you were lucky I didn't think you were a guy!" Ranma smirked, this is getting good. "Besides, I get to look at myself all the time anyway, and my body is much sexier to boot." And with that, Ranma trailed of with laughter.
Akane growled. That bastard... She lifted the table up, and in anger, hit the laughing hyena with all her might, cracking it in the process.
"I'm adding this to your tab, Akane."

Author's Notes:
Hmm, now, where to start... Ahem, this chapter was intended to be a lot, a lot, longer than this, but I ended it here since I took so long to finish it. Why took so long? Well, I'm a lazy ass, that's why. But recently, I've been not too lazy, so I wrote something up. The next chapter should clear a lot of things up about Mosquiton, if you haven't seen it, and a lot of surprises will show; mainly from Ranma, of course. When will it be out? Who knows...
As you can see, I gave Ranma a slightly new look. Why? Who cares, I just want to. And I also added more to Nabiki and Akane's relationship, it seems. It's just more fun that way, I hope you guys like it.
As for the pairings in this story, I really haven't given it much thought, actually. I don't really know who am I going to pair up with who, and I don't really care much right now. The point of this story is to be funny and maybe dumb, I'll focus on pairings later. However, do expect something unusual, I like to try out crazy things. But maybe not...
At first, I was thinking of only using the TV series of Mosquiton, but I will use elements, and maybe characters, of the OVA, too.
For anyone wondering, the "main" characters are Nabiki, Ranma, and Ryouga.
And like always, comments, criticism, and suggestions are gladly accepted. If you want to flame, don't bother. Why? Because you touch yourself at night.
