and back to a boy

To Xian-Pu and Kodachi
I'm just their boy-toy.
They see me as a prize to win
and not someone with feelings hidden within.
Poisons and traps are their game
But my heart I know they shall never gain.

Nabiki so clever and divine
If you weren't so heartless,
maybe you could be mine.
Selling pictures of me to Kuno was fine
But the day you started selling Akane's online
Was the day you crossed the line.
I know that we are a family to feed
But blood is thicker than water and friendship
more precious than greed.
Had you come to me I would have earned some bread
Since you've made your choices, you must lie in your own bed.

Kasumi so sweet and so kind?
Kami girl, are you blind!
Tofu-Sensi is gag-ga for you
When you're around him we'd like to lock him in a zoo.
I know you stepped in you're mothers shoes.
But take them off, they're so not you.
Get outta the house and find a boyfriend.
Cause life's too short for dusting and sweeping.

I know that your love for me has no end.
That is why it's gonna hurt me so.
When at last the day comes when I must tell you NO!
My father stole your yattai that much is true.
But being your husband, running your resturant would only make me blue.

Nodoka, mom how I've wanted to see
Your beautiful face smiling at me.
But things pop did and places we went
Have left a giant mark for which we repent.
I can't believe he made the stupid deal
Ten years of training when I was young.
Lone nights with pop on the run
From town to town we often sped
Avoiding the villiagers who were after pop's head.
But now that you know of the curse, what do you think of me?
Am I a man or just a has been?
I want to make things right with my friends and fiance
That is, if you'll let me live to see another day.


Finally Akane, the apple of my eye.
Why in the world can't you see P-Chan is Ryouga - the guy?
Maybe it's cause we always fight and argue.
Since you prolly hate me now, I might as well admit the truth.
I never hated you, can't you see?
My baka oyaji was the one who instilled hate in me
All kinds of stupid and silly things to say
When emotions and turmoil get in the way
Of the art for which I live and for which I've almost died.

Akane I apologize to you, for the last two years I've lied.
You're not the uncute tomboy, nor built like a brick
No, it's more like I've been an arrogant hardheaded prick.
If you'll give me another chance, I'll make you see
The kind of man a Saotome truly should be.
