Prologue Chapter theme song: given up – linkin park
It was the year 2012, the ancient Mayans had scheduled this year as the end of the earth’s civilization. No one took this ancient warning seriously. Earth was a flourishing bustling mecha one giant city. It had gone from one of the most beautiful planets in the universe to a waste land of machines. Some of its inhabitants had just stuck there heads into the ground ignoring the problem and growing the worlds food in labs instead of growing it on farms. That’s when the inevitable happen; the scientists and astronauts of NASA had all lead us to believe that humans were the only life forms in this universe. We were all wrong.
Many different alien races had been watching our self-destructive race, slowly destroyed their planet. And when we were at our weakest they invaded. Our armies fought as best they could, but the aliens were far too advanced and we couldn’t compete. Soldiers and world leaders were killed off. The rest of us were branded and sold off as slaves to live in different worlds.
3012 – A thousand years later, all humans born are branded with a bar code. They are raised to be sold as slaves on the planets all over the universe. Creatures that are found with human charactistics and DNA...half breeds are taken into slavery and branded with bar codes.
The tattoo’s contained small fragments of a chip, that if read under a scanner would show who the slave was, there ranking, tasks, and who they presently belonged to.
Chapter 1 The Physical chapter theme song: White horse – Taylor swift
She had just turned 18, and was being escorted to her doctor’s appointment. The girl had grown up on the planet of Maligne. The planet was covered in lush forests, and crystal clear lakes, rivers, and oceans. It was an oasis of sorts within the Andalasian galaxy. It was one of many planets used to raise slaves for one of their specific purposes. Slaves from Maligne were raised to be sold as concubines.
The girl had light fair skin and freckles all across her body. She stood 5 feet and 2 inches, and weighed very little. Light sun kissed blonde hair was pulled up into a set of symmetrical pig tails. Light pink ribbons laced into her golden locks. She wore a matching pink baby doll dress and beige ballet flats.
Her feet softly touching the ground as she walked down the open air hallway of the clinic, passing other slaves and doctors as she went. She arrived at the front desk of the clinic where the attending nurse’s lead her to an exam room. The nurse, like all native inhabitants on Maligne, was elf like. They were all tall slender built beings, with a slight point on the end of their ears.
“Dr. Chase will be right with you Lily” the nurse said leaving the girl in exam room A. It was your basic white walled Doctors office. There were devices on the wall to check inside ones mouth and ears. Devices designed to check blood pressure and monitor the heart, tattoo needles, and special scanners.
She sat herself down on the examination bed waiting for the doctor. Her eyes wandering to the small black bar code tattoo on the underside of her right wrist. Remembering the day they had given it to her.
It was just after she had turned 10. Lily remembered being strapped down to the exam table, as they branded her with the mark. She had screamed bloody murder as it was being branded onto her, the computer components of the tattoo burning into the skin.
The sound of the door opening to the exam room caused the human girl to look up, seeing her doctor walk in carrying a clipboard. “Hello Lillian, how are we feeling today? I guess that this’ll be your last physical for today.” Putting the clipboard down on a table, while grabbing some of the tools off of the wall. He then walked towards her strapping the Velcro cuff of the blood pressure monitor on her upper left arm, just going about the routine procedure as he’d done many times before.
“Hello Dr. Chase, I’m well... I’ll admit I’m little nervous... Okay, so I’m very nervous.” She said as the Doctor went about his tests. “I mean what if no one picks me...or what if I die right away...or what if the transport shuttle blows up...Or whadif I gee pickedth an I’m no good” lily went on and on not stopping to take a breath while chased put a tongue depressor on her tongue.
The young looking doctor chuckled a little. “You shouldn’t worry so much little one. You’re the prettiest little human on this planet. Was I not 30 years your senior, and if I was not married I would take you now in a manly fashion.” He wrote down some of the results on his clipboard. “Dress up and arms up please” watching her as she pulled the simple item off. Placing his hands on her breasts checking for anything that shouldn’t be there. “Lay back please” He said writing something else down.
Lily blushed at his comment “You’re only saying that because you’re my doctor.” Her blush deepened as he felt the paposcope being stuck into her vaginal cavity, wincing a little as he widened it inside of her. A green light flashed on the handle of the tool indicating that she was clean of any viruses or infections.
“You can put your dress back on lily. Everything checks out here. I just have to give you a sedative.” Doctor Chase said, pulling out a vial with a silver liquid in it. Grabbing a needle from a drawer under the exam table. “This will help to keep you relaxed, while you’re on the shuttle” he said as he inserts the needle point into the container extracting the sedative. “Now you might feel a slight pinch” Chase said inserting the needle into her upper right arm.
Lily looked away wincing a little as the needle inserted the liquid into her veins. She had expected the sedative to just make her a little dosey. But almost within a few seconds her eyes lost focus “Why is everything so blurry...Dr. Chase...i feel so” Falling asleep almost instantly, the doctor catching her before her head hit the bed and laying her down gently. He walked to the door of the exam room, and soon 2 brunette nurses entered. One carrying a simple white dress, the other guided a long silver metal tube that was floating in the air. Quickly they dressed her, picked her up and placed her inside of the tube. While the doctor grabbed the scanner off the wall and punched a code into it, before running it over the barcode causing the scanner to emit a loud beep.
“Good job ladies, now take her down to shipping. The next shuttle to Poinsettia will be leaving tonight.” Dr. Chase said watching the nurses push the tube down the hallway.
