Jun knew that he should stop her. A large portion of him wanted to, but in truth, he felt that he didn't deserve to. He didn't deserve to have her. A son that brings such shame to his family that his father has to.....

He heard the door shut; and suddenly he felt alone. More alone then he had ever been before. The silence of the house was almost deafening; and in that instant the cold realization of what had truly happened finally hit him.

Falling to his knees, he looked over at the spot where he had been cleaning. The spot where his father took his life. He slammed his hand on the ground, not caring about the pain which shot through his broken arm. It didn't matter. His father was dead and he was alive. Tears hit the ground, but he didn't care. No one was there to see them.

Anna ran after she was out of the house. She ran and ran with her tears streaming in the wind behind her. She had no idea where she was going or if she even knew where she was at the moment, but she needed to get away. Her chest hurt and body ached. How would Jun ever be able to look at her again without blaming her? How could they live in the same house?

Finally, she couldn't run anymore. She stopped and leaned against a tree. Where was she? Looking around, she couldn't see many street lights in the night. Even if she had been here before, nothing looked the same at night. She wiped her tears. Why was she always getting lost?

Anna pulled out her phone. Scrolling down she looked at Jun's number. She promised to be beside him no matter what. What use was she now? What good was she for him when his whole life was fucked up as soon as she walked into it? She should have stayed away. She should have done what he told her before and back off. But she couldn't.

Shaking her head, she was about to close her phone when something moved around her. She looked up. Not far from her was a group of guys. They looked like they were in their twenties. Anna turned their back to them as they started laughing when they spotted her. Anna pulled up her parents number and pressed send. Before it went through, her phone was snatched and thrown to the ground. Anna was forced to turn and she screamed.

Jun's phone went off. He didn't want to answer it, but it kept ringing. Finally he pulled it out and looked at the number. It was Anna's parents. "Yes?" Just like before, his voice was cold and hollow. Anna's mother didn't seem surprised, but she asked if Jun might have known where Anna had went. They had the cops out searching for her and her father was out, but she didn't know where her daughter was.

Jun told her that he'd look for her and hung up. Getting in his car he tore off from the driveway. He didn't bother to check the speedometer as he drove. Going through street after street he drove until he reached the outskirts of town going through back roads, he soon found what he was looking for. There were a group of about eight guys forming a circle. He couldn't see what was in the circle, but he had a good idea.

Pulling the car down the road, he stopped and got out. He could hear them laughing and taunting whoever was in the middle. The guys shoved at her, watching her fall to the ground and yell for help. Taking another sip of beer, the first guy looked down at her. "We'll have fun with her," he said, earning himself a chorus of laughter. The more they laughed the faster Jun moved. Eventually he was running at a sprint. He didn't care that there were more of them then him. He didn't care that they were older then him. Jumping at the closest guy, he slammed his cast into the back of the guy's head. He was out before the others could even tell what had just happened.

Jun didn't say a word. None was needed. The guys moved, taking one look at him they just smirked. "I know you! You're the brat from the television!" The guy laughed, but that only earned him a punch to the face, courtesy of Jun's cast. At that point the others realized he wasn't there to join in on their fun.

Jun moved as if the others were in slow motion. His adrenaline, mixed with his pent up rage and emotions made him a monster at that moment. The pain which coursed through his body as he blocked their punches with his cast and delivered his own hits was nothing. He didn't feel a thing. Slamming his fist into the gut of one of the men, he quickly flipped him onto the ground.

Another picked up a board off the street and brought it down onto Jun's cast, breaking it and earning himself an elbow to the face in the process. The men got in their licks, but it didn't matter. Jun didn't stop. Even with his cast broken he struck out at them. Even as they tried to run he still lashed out. It didn't matter. He beat them until finally the last two standing ran away as fast as they could.

Letting the last guy fall to the ground, Jun turned to look at Anna. She looked terrified, and he couldn't blame her. "Are you okay?" In one day his father had killed himself and his girlfriend had almost been raped. Today couldn't get any better.

Anna reached for her phone off the ground. "Thank...you..." she said slowly.

She didn't know what else to say, though she wouldn't have gotten a chance too. She put her arm up to shield her face as a car's head lights shinned at her. The car stopped and the lights went off. Her father got out of the car and ran to them He got to his knees and pulled Anna to him as she sat on the ground.

"Anna! You scared the shit out of your mother and I!" he said stroking her hair. Anna felt terrible. Wow, she was ruining everyone's life. Her dad helped her to her feet and he turned to Jun. He placed a hand on Jun's shoulder. "Jun..." He could see the men on the ground and the blood all over Jun. "Come on, let's get you to the hospital." He took Jun's keys from him and handed them to Anna. "Follow us to the hospital. Don't stop. Just drive straight there. I don't think I could take another heart strain. Call your mother."

Anna nodded slowly. She got in Jun's car and watched as her dad help Jun in his car. Anna called her mother who was in tears about her disappearing. Anna told her what was going one, though she left out the part of almost being raped. She followed her father to the hospital and sat in the waiting room with him while the doctor patched up Jun and put a new cast on him. Her dad held her close. She couldn't stop crying. Everything she did hurt Jun. Everything she did hurt her parents. Could she do nothing good.

Aside from a few bruises here and there, a laceration above his eyes, and having to have his arm replaced in a cast, Jun had done remarkably well. At least, that was what the doctor had told him once he had heard what happened. Jun didn't say anything as he got dressed again. Pulling at his cast, he went out to the waiting room where Anna and her father sat. "The doctor told me that I would be fine," he told them.

Her dad gave him a small smile. Again he placed his hand on Jun's shoulder. "I know you probably don't think I know too much about these things, but if you need to talk, Jun, I'm a good listener," he said. "I'm sorry about your father."

Anna stood and looked at Jun's cast. It no longer had her note and name on it. Like wiping her from him. Her heart felt hollow. They started walking back to the cars and again she was told to take Jun's car. They drove home and her mother came rushing out. She hugged Anna and chastised her for being out so late all alone then hugged Jun too her tightly and rubbed his back whispering comforting words. Anna walked inside and the out to the back yard. Her room wasn't her room anymore so she could go there. The back yard had to do. She still had Jun's keys in her hand as she sat in the grass. Her warm tears hit the cold metal and she clung to them.

Jun went up to her room to get his clothes. After which he went downstairs and out to the back yard. Once more she was crying. Why? Because she had been attacked? Or because of something else. "I think I should spend the night at home." Spend the night in an empty house.

Anna said nothing. She wiped her eyes and handed him the keys. Inside her parents were on their phones. Talking to lawyers trying to find out what the court would do with Jun. Anna wondered if her parents would let him go to his old house in a time like this. Though, they were talking to so many people at once she knew Jun could just slip out without being noticed.

Jun took his car keys from her. Looking down at her, he found himself wanting to comfort her. However, right now he didn't have the emotions to do. Leaning down he pressed his lips against her's. Kissing her one last time before he turned to leave. Anna's parents were so busy arguing he had no problem sneaking out. He didn't know what he was going to do now. He honestly didn't know.

As he drove up to the empty house, the darkness of it made him shiver. So many times he had spent alone here that it should feel like second nature. Now something was different. As he closed the door behind him he felt truly alone.

Anna's hand went to her lips, still feeling Jun's on his. She stood. Even if things were messed up and she was the reason for it, she still owed him an apology and...she said she would be beside her for everything. That also meant for the death of his father. She walked inside and left a note for her parents. She promised to call and be back in the morning. Her parents would understand.

Walking outside, she felt nervous about going to Jun's house in the middle of the night after what happened to her earlier, however, she was determined. She wanted to get to him. She started walking at first, but her fear got the best of her in the rolling darkness so she began to run. When she reached Jun's house she walked to the front door and opened it, a little shocked that it wasn't locked. She closed it behind her and locked it.

The house was dark just as it was when she left. The moonlight seeped into the windows showing her way to the stairs. She walked up them and down the hall to Jun's room. The door had been replaced. She opened it and walked in. Jun was laying in his bed. Slowly, she moved to the bed, kicking off her shoes and dropping her jacket, leaving a trail. She pulled the covers back and got in with him. Hesitantly, she wrapped her arms around him from behind, taking him his warmth.

Jun shuddered slightly as he felt her crawl into the bed with him. Closing his eyes, he brought his hand up to her's and held it tight. He didn't think that he was going to sleep tonight, but knowing she was there brought some sense of satisfaction to him. He wasn't alone. Not yet.

Anna's hand moved over Jun's chest. Somehow, in the middle of the night, Jun ended up on his back and Anna's head on his chest. Slowly her eyes opened. The soft fabric of Jun's pajama shirt caressed her cheek as she moved slightly. She didn't want to move. She didn't want this to end. But it would. It was only a matter of time. "I'm...sorry, Jun," she said knowing he was awake.

Jun turned his neck slightly so that he could look at her. He didn't know what to say. He wanted to tell her that there was no need to be sorry. His father was dead because of him. She didn't do anything that he didn't agree to. Rubbing her back with his hand, he stared out the small window of his room. Light was already shining through it.

"It's okay," he said softly. His voice barely above a whisper. "My father took his life because I dishonored him. You have nothing to be sorry for."

"You dishonored him because of me. If we had never met or if I had never come for you...none of this would have happened. He would still be alive and you would still be with him..." she said while her eyes looked down at the covers.

"Please," he whispered. "Not now. I don't.... For now could we please just not talk about things we can't change. What's done is done." And now he had to live with the consequences of his decisions. Using his good harm to hug her too him, he pressed his lips against her forehead. He didn't want to have to get up and face everyone. he didn't want to have to see anyone else today. He just wanted to stay like this.

Anna nodded against him. "Ok. If that's what you want, Jun." She sat up a bit and moved over him slightly to look at him. His face looked completely emotionless. She wasn't sure if she liked it or not, but it didn't really matter what she thought. Her hand went to his cheek, her fingers dancing on it lightly. "Tell me what I can do. Tell me what to say."

As she moved over him, Jun just stared up at her. She was practically pleading for him to give her something so that he could forgive her for something that wasn't her fault. His hand ran up to her back to her neck. Pulling her down to him he kissed her. Pressing his lips hard against her as if kissing her would help to ease all the pain which had been slowly eating at him since yesterday.

Anna moved more over him. Place her legs on each side of his hips, she pushed her chest against him. So...he wanted sex. She could do that. She could give him whatever he wanted as long as he forgave her. Pulling up slightly, she moved her hands to the bottom of her shirt and pulled it off then moved her hands to the clip of her bra while looking down at him and sitting on his hips.

Jun watched as she straddled him, then as she took off her shirt. Her hands went to her bra, but it was then that he stopped her. He couldn't drown his sorrows in pleasures of the flesh. Not like this. "Not now," he told her. Pulling her back down on top of him, he just kissed her again. "Right now, I just want you to be here. Nothing more."

Anna felt odd. He didn't want sex? How was he going to forgive her? Did he want to forgive her? Anna laid there on his chest again. She felt lost and hollow, but she told herself to push her feelings aside. Jun's father just died. Jun was all that mattered. Making him feel better and doing anything she could to keep her from going over the edge. "Ok," she said. "I'll...just lay here with you." In nothing but a shirt panties and a bra. Her hand went to one of his and she held it tightly. "You and me, Jun. All the way." She would stick by him for as long as he wanted her just as she promised before.

That was all he wanted. He held her to him as if she was his last link to this earth. In a way she was. They laid like that for quite some time until his phone's continued buzzing finally drove him to answer. He was silent as he listened to the voice on the other end. Finally he sighed and told them okay. "I have to...I have to go and help plan my father's burial." Some of his father's coworkers had told him already that they would take care of that for him. Now it seemed that he had to take care of that as well.

Anna sat up on him. "Do you...want me to go with you?" she asked.

Looking at her, he tried to read her face. He was trying to figure out if she actually wanted to be here, or if it was because she was seeking his forgiveness. "If you want to," he told her. He wasn't going to force her to come. "Though I'm certain that your parents would like to see you at some point today."

"My parents spent sixteen years with me. I'm sure they will manage without me for a day," she said. She moved off him and put her shirt back on. Grabbing her phone, she sent a text to her mother explaining where she was going and what she was going to do. "Though, if I didn't at least let them know I was alive they would send the police for me again." She started putting on her shoes. "I'll go with you. I want to be with you every step of the way, Jun. I want you to know that I'm here for you, even if you don't need me." Didn't she say that to him when they first became friends? Wasn't it was started all this?
