Jun took her hand as they started back. "What are you studying?" He was looking at her books, his mind trying to think of anything other then where she had just been. How long had it been since he'd gone back there? Too long for him to even remember. He had been just a child then. He remembered now. It was the day of his mother's funeral. He'd run out to the garden and stayed there all night. He fell asleep, and woke up scared, cold, and alone. Yes, he remembered.

"Final exams for the eleventh. Once I finish them I can go on to twelfth and then I'll graduate early. I have less than eight months to do it, but if I work hard I know I can," she said. "I'll just have to balance it all out while eating healthy and sleeping."

Jun picked up one of her books and leafed through it. "Right, well, if anyone can do it you can." He put the book down and kissed her cheek. "Just don't over work yourself okay? It's not good for you, or for the baby."

....Or for the baby... Having him say that out loud made her smile. Something about Jun being a father made her feel warm inside. Her hand went to her stomach. "I'll be careful," she promised.

"You better," he said as he placed his hand on top of her's and kissed her. "Tomorrow uh...I've got a doctor's appointment of my own. So I'll have to get out of here pretty early."

Anna nodded. "Why are you going to the doctor?" She placed her hand on his head, checking his temperature. "Are you feeling ok?"

He just gave her a small smile. "I'm feeling well enough. I just want him to check on some things for me."

She dropped her hand. "Like what?"

"Just small things. I've been having headaches a lot lately, and I just want to make certain that nothing is wrong."

Anna sighed. She sat back down and flipped open her books. "Let's hope it's nothing serous then," she said and smiled while looking up at him.

Jun chuckled and sat down. "I doubt it is. It's probably nothing. Just working too long and staring at too many documents."

Anna pulled at his shirt until he was at her level. She kissed him sweetly. "Ok," she said and rubbed her nose with his.

Jun smiled. "You know, I love you," he said as he caressed her cheek. Sitting back in his seat, he closed his eyes and relaxed. The sounds of nature were rather soothing, and it did feel nice outside.

Anna smirked. "Yeah, I know," she said and started working again. "I think while you are gone tomorrow, I'll go to the school and take my exams so I can start working on my twelfth grade year. Maybe by the end of summer I'll take my exams for that year too and graduate."

"Sounds good," Jun said without opening his eyes. His hands went up to his temples and rubbed them slowly. His head was starting to hurt again. He frowned as he tried to massage the pain away. "I'm going inside," he told her as he stood and started for the house. He had some headache medicine inside.

Anna watched him walk in then looked back at her book. She knew all the material. She knew it before Christmas. She closed all her books and walked inside. Setting the books on the table, she walked upstairs and into the master bathroom. She started some warm water and put some bubbles in it. Going into Jun's office, she grabbed his hands and pulled him upstairs. After getting in the bathroom again, she undressed.

"A nice warm, relaxing bath will do you good, Jun," she said. She started to undress him. "It will melt all the stress away and as a bonus, you get to see me naked," she teased.

Jun wasn't really in the mood for it, but he offered her a smile anyway as he let her undress him. "I like that kind of bonus," he smirked, wrapping his arms around her so she couldn't undress him further as he kissed her.

Anna slipped out of his armed and backed up to the tub. She pulled him by his arms with her. Slowly, she pushed him down until he was sitting in the warm water. She said and pulled his back into her chest. Being gentle, she started giving him a massage. "Just relax. Let the warm water loosen you up," she whispered in his ear.

Jun moaned softly as he leaned against her. He relaxed slightly and let her hands run over him. Another soft moan escaped his lips. "This...is nice," he whispered.

Anna smiled. "See? This is just what you need. A moment to relax and relieve some stress," she said. Her hands moved around him and started to run a rag over his chest.

Jun just nodded slowly. This was just what he needed. Just something to relax and take his mind off of everything. Yes, this was exactly what he needed.

For a long time they just sat there in the tub. Anna ran the rag over Jun's body slowly to sooth him. For a while, one thing led to another and the tub was drained so they could make love. That night Anna laid in Jun's arms peacefully while Jun slept soundly. When morning came, Jun was gone. Anna sighed and sat in the library while a teacher sat across from her. Because she was taking her final exams early, she had to do them apart from everyone else while being watched. She had the whole school day to complete each exam. It wouldn't take that long, but they wanted her to have enough time to not rush.

Jun laid still as he went through the cat scan machine. He didn't see what the point of all of this was. He had just thought that he needed some glasses and pain medicine for his headache. As it was, his doctor was putting him through the ringer.

"Well?" He'd already been there a lot longer than he had predicted. Nearly five hours of testing later he was sitting in a gown waiting for his doctor to get back in. At this rate Anna would be out of school by the time he got done. "What's the verdict?"

"Too early to tell, I'm afraid," his doctor said. "Your headaches could be caused by your eyesight. I'd recommend you get some glasses to help with that; but there's still too much to look over. I should have your test results back in about a week."

"Great, more waiting." Jun stood, and then held his head, leaning against the bed for support. His headaches were getting worse.

"No driving until that time," the doctor said holding up his keys. "I already called your wife. She'll be here shortly to pick you up."

"Gee, thanks," Jun muttered. His doctor gave him two pills that were nearly as big as his hand. He downed them quickly.

Anna walked in and smiled at the doctor. They said their hellos and he pointed her to the room where Jun was. She took the keys from him and walked over to the door. Opening it she noticed Jun changed. Smirking, she walked in and closed the door behind her. "You know how kinky it would be to do it in a doctor office?" she said jokingly.

Jun smiled. "Well I'm already mostly naked," he said as he looked back at her. "Think we could do it in a few minutes?" He winked as he put his prescriptions in his pants before she could see them. "Just think you missed me in the hospital gown."

Anna was about to say something when her doctor knocked and came in. She turned to him. "I didn't come here for a check up..." she said holding up her hands in defense.

He laughed. "I just wanted to see how you and the baby were doing. Have you thought about what I said?"

She nodded. "Yeah..." looking over at Jun, she smiled, "we are keeping it."

"I'm glad." He wrote something down and handed it to her. "This is your appointment for your prenatal care. I'll need to see you ever month, sometimes twice a month or more."

She groaned. "Must I?"

"If you want a healthy baby, then yes," he smiled. "Take care now," he waved and walked out.

Anna looked at the paper. She was to see him in three weeks. "It's bad enough I have to have an eight pound baby coming out of me but now I have to have some guy sticking his fingers in me to check for things. How awesome is that?" she said rolling her eyes.

Jun chuckled as he pulled up his pants. "Well then, maybe I could get a degree in whatever he does. Then I could just stick my fingers in you to check. Couldn't do too much about the eight pound baby. That's going to be fun no matter what happens."

Anna pushed at him. "You are no help at all. All you have to do is get off on me for a few minutes and I have to suffer for nine. Did you know that I could be nauseous and throw up the whole time I'm pregnant? Or that I might have sore boobs the whole time too? No of course not. Because you are a man and a man knows nothing!" She crossed her arms on her chest. "You would be doing me a huge favor if you were a seahorse and carried the baby instead of me."

Jun shuddered. "Don't joke like that. They're actually working on ways for the guys to carry the baby," he told her. "One of our medical divisions said it could prove healthier that way. Less complications or something like that."

Anna clapped her hands and smiled. "Then it's settled! I'll carry this one and the next one is all you!" she laughed. "Come on, let's go home."

Jun groaned. "That's not what I meant. You're not going to knock me up." Before he could say anything else he was pulled by her out to the car. He didn't object to riding shotgun. Leaning the seat back so that he could rest and massage his temples.

In the middle of the week, Anna got her results back for her exams. She smiled when she opened the letter and passed everything. Now she could work on her next year. Jun was at work and she was all alone in the house so she would have to wait until later to give him the good news. She grabbed the clothes basket and walked to the washing machine. She checked the pockets of the jeans before throwing them in and stopped when she pulled out something from Jun's jeans. It was a piece of paper. She unfolded it and read it. A prescription for glasses...glasses he never got. Why wouldn't he get them? Anna walked to the living room and grabbed her purse.

Jun took a cab to work since he couldn't drive until his results came back so she had his car. She got in and drove to his work. She walked to the elevator and then down the hall. She was his secretary so she knew where he would be. Ignoring one of the women telling her he was in a meeting, she walked in. He was talking. Everyone looked at her but Jun kept talking. She moved to a seat beside him and sat down quietly. Placing the prescription on the table she slid it over to him and sat back in the chair with her arms crossed and her eyes narrow.

Jun looked down at the paper, but kept talking. "Tell me what kind of significance this has. Will it actually help people?"

"Yes," one of the men said. "Couples who can't have children and don't want to adopt will now have ways to still have children. If the woman is infertile then the man could carry their child."

Jun sighed and rubbed his face. He couldn't believe he was actually hearing this. "And how successful have you been with this?"

"We've had four pregnant men so far. Each of them has had successful pregnancy."

"Okay. I will continue funding of your project. Try to get some mainstream uses for it, or at least some publicity. Get someone famous pregnant and we'll talk."

The men thanked him and were getting ready to leave. He looked at the piece of paper that Anna had slipped him. He squinted as he looked at it. "What's this?"

Anna smacked him in the forehead with it and pulled her hand back. The paper stuck to his head. "Your glasses that you so obviously never got!" For some reason, she was really mad about this. "Why in the world wouldn't you get them? Just go blind on me! I don't care!"

Jun grabbed the piece of paper and looked at it and then to her. "It just slipped my mind," he told her. "I've been busy looking into some of our side projects which I wasn't certain were even worth keeping. Glasses was sort of low on my priority list. I'm sorry."

Anna grabbed his face in her hands lightly. "You will go today and get them. Because the doctor said you need them. If I have to take a million vitamins just so we can have a healthy child then you can get glasses so you can see that child in the future, ok?"

Jun looked at her and nodded. "Okay. I've got time to take a break if you want to go now. The whole male pregnancy group was the last group I had to talk to. The rest of the day was only going to be taken up with interviews."

Anna smiled. "Good. We can get lunch. I'm starving." She took his hand and started walking down the hall.

Jun rubbed his head as they walked out. He told the lady at the front desk he would be back shortly and to hold his calls. He sat down in the passenger seat and ran his hand over Anna's thigh. "These glasses better not make me look dorky," he muttered.

"Don't worry so much. You already look dorky to me," she joked as she drove. Once she parked the car she grabbed his hand again. "It's not so bad, Jun. Be happy isn't just glasses. Feel blessed." They got out and walked in. She gave the lady the prescription and the lady smiled.

"Just look around until you find the ones you like and we can get them fitted for your prescription," she said.

The walls were covered with glasses and Anna smiled at Jun. "See? Lots to choose from."

Jun sighed as he looked through their selection of glasses. He didn't exactly want anything which would seem fancy or anything that would stand out. He just wanted something plain and simple. Grabbing a pair of simple black rims and simple silver frames. "Which do you prefer?" Not that there was much of a difference. He smirked as he grabbed a pink pair as well as a bright blue pair just for jokes.

Anna smiled and laughed lightly then grabbed the black ones. She handed them to the lady and she disappeared in the back. They stood there for a few moments before she came back and rung them up.

"We've had the glass done for days. We were beginning to think you weren't coming," the lady said.

Anna glared at Jun. "Yeah, me too," she said.

Jun paid and Anna put the glasses on him. "Looks good." She kissed his nose. "That wasn't so bad, was it?"

Jun was surprised how clear he was able to see with them on. "They're okay," he mumbled, a smile on his lips. At least they weren't that bad. Maybe with them the headaches would stop. Then he could tell his over protective doctor that he could shove it.

Anna pulled him out to the car once more. "I'm thinking Mexican. I'm dying for something like that," she said as she got in.
