This is Drew Miller. I am attempting to finish the story “Angel of the Night” by Dr. Yorkazemzem. I also edited it a bit by some of Dr. Yorkazemzem's hints and notes.

 

The sun rises above the land and a heavy mist is starting to fade away, as if a great veil has been lifted. The apartment looks golden in the rays if the sun, as the day begins, we know something important has happened.

Morrigan and Matt are lying in bed together talking.

Morrigan: You know what I don't get, why did George run off so suddenly when you were sent to the hospital?

Matt: Who knows, I'm sure he has his reasons.

Morrigan: Yes, but… I can't help shaking the feeling that this is the calming before the storm.

There is a gust of wind that blows through the window.

Morrigan: Damn breezes, always making me cold, can you come here and warm me up Matt?

Matt: I would be happy to.

Matt moves closer to Morrigan as they share bodily warmth.

 

Morrigan: Why are you always so sad?

Matt: I can't seem to… oh forget it.

Morrigan: Come on, you can tell me.

Matt: it's my Father.

Morrigan: Yes, you seemed pretty tense back there.

Matt starts to sob

Matt: you know, I always got the feeling that he hated me, he never trusts me at all, sometimes… I wish he would just die.

Morrigan: what happened?

Matt: it was when I was ten, I had come home from a day at my school, my father had been drinking and I accidentally broke something of his, he got mad and hit me over and over and over harder each time, when my mother found out about it, she tried to stop him but he killed her. No one ever found out about it and afterwords, I have hated my father ever since… the truth is, I'm afraid of becoming what he is.

Morrigan pulls his body close to hers.

Morrigan: listen, it's ok, you are nothing like him, and death is a natural part of life, we may miss the people we love, but we learn to go on.

Matt: you know, you are the only thing that is good in my life

They embrace until they here a loud bang coming from outside.

Matt: I'll get it

Matt gets out of the bed and puts on pants and walks to the front door, and then he yells up to Morrigan that she needs to come and see this. Morrigan gets dressed then comes outside with Matt.

Morrigan: what is it?

There is a tanker driving up with a crate on the back of it with a letter attached to on the door in the back, Jon and Felicia run out saying they heard a noise. Morrigan picks up the note, the note says,

 

Dear Morrigan and Matt,

 

I am right now in Japan, and I have found out where your dark side is, IT wants to create a fighting tournament to see who will become the ruler of Makai, I had to assemble a team for you, and I sent them in this crate, these are the best of the best, and each have their own reasons to fight with you. I hope this helps, I will return on the day of the tournament, you have 3 days to get ready, and I expect to meet you at your castle by noon tomorrow.

Morrigan opens the crate, and four figures jump out.

Jon: oh my god! I don't believe it!

 

That's the end of this chapter, This one is pretty short but starts to explain Matt's frustration with his father, it also shows that Morrigan is more wise now than she was before her other side was released.
