Soft Like a Kiss

Katsuya had always been a gentleman. He was also still a virgin. The boy wasn't in a rush to lose it right away. He wanted to build a loving relationship with Annette. So far, that was going well. He decided if she wanted to have sex, she would be the one initiate.

This took place after graduation. Annette was going to America. They were going to have a long-distance relationship. Were they going to pull it off? Katsuya wasn't sure about that. But he felt like this was time. He was going to have to make the first move.

“Hey, Annette,” he said over the phone.

“Yeah?” she asked on the other line. The boy shifted in place.

“Can you come over today?” he asked. Katsuya held his breath.

“Okay,” Annette said in a low voice. His heart jumped up in his chest. His cheeks turned red as he gulped.

“Really? Great!” he said. “Uh… I'll see you in a few minutes, I guess.” Katsuya hung up the phone before he could blow in. Seconds later, he cheered aloud.

“Yes!” he shouted.

Now that left cleaning up his house. He frowned as he looked around the living room.

“Damn it,” he said to himself. “I have to get started.” The boy ran to his room to start cleaning.

------------

Katsuya sat on the living room couch and waited. What was he going to say? Should he try to be more romantic? Or just go for being bold? Or maybe try to be sweet and shy? The boy frowned. None of those sounded like him. But he still had to make a move. Did he have to? Yes. Yes, of course.

He turned his head when he heard the doorbell ring. Oh crap, she's here! Katsuya took in a deep breath and cleared his throat. He could do this. Show time. Katsuya got up and walked up to his door. He looked out the peephole. Annette stood outside, waiting. The boy grew serious and opened the door.

“You're here,” he said.

“Hi,” Annette said. The boy looked her in the eye.

“Can I kiss you?” he asked. She stared at him with big eyes as her cheeks turned red.

“What?” she asked.

“I mean… if you want me to,” he said. “You don't have to if you don't want to.”

“No, it's fine! It's fine,” Annette said. She cleared her throat.

“You kiss me,” the girl said. Katsuya thought that he was going to fly away.

“Oh! Thank you! Thank you so much!” he said. He leaned and kissed her on the lips. It wasn't a big kiss. More like a little one that didn't last long. His heart was beating in his chest. When they pulled away, Katsuya found himself longing.

“Can I kiss you again?” he asked. Annette giggled.

“If you let me in first,” she said. It took Katsuya a few seconds to understand what she was saying.

“Oh!” he said. “Um… of course!” He stepped back and let her into the house. She leaned in and kissed him on the lips. He froze up at first before he gave in to the kiss. The boy started to wonder how far they were going to take this. Katsuya broke off the kiss.

“What's wrong?” Annette asked.

“Before we do this, are you okay with what we're doing?” he asked. “We can stop whenever you want.”

“It's fine,” his girlfriend said. Katsuya stared at her with big eyes. He was about to speak when she held up her hand.

“It's fine,” she said again. His boyfriend closed his mouth. Annette leaned in for another kiss. Katsuya led her upstairs to his room. She was right. This was going to be fine.
