Campus Party

You know you have arrived at college when you're invited to a big party. Shojiro and Jim had arrived earlier in the day. Their invitations came through text message. At first, it seemed like a prank. Both boys confided in each other. They met in the hallway.

“Hey Jim!” Shojiro spoke up. “Did you…”

“Yeah!” he pal called. “You?” Shojiro nodded.

“Yeah,” he answered. “By text?” Jim showed him his phone. His pal did likewise. They opened their phones and looked at the screens. The messages matched. Here is what they said:

Party at the East Building at nine. Bring your own beer.

 

The boys looked up at each other. They didn't know what to think.

“Think it's a trick?” Jim asked. Shojiro shrugged.

“Don't know,” he replied. “Who sent it?”

“Don't know,” Jim replied. “So what now?” His pal shrugged at him.

“Only one way to see,” Shojiro answered. Both nodded in agreement. By nine, the boys made it to the East Building. They could hear the music pounding from the outside. Toilet paper decorated the trees. The boys nodded at the scene.

“Yes!” they said together. “This is the right place!” The boys turned to each other.

“Let's go!” they said together. Then, they went inside. Party central in the house. Beer all around. Pills were being passed around like pocky. The 60's and Woodstock came to life here. Smiles came to Shojiro and Jim's faces. They had arrived.

“Wow!” was all they could say. But that's only the start. Shojiro felt a small tap on his shoulder. The boy quickly turned around. Kizo smiled at him happily.

“Hey!” she called. The freshman blushed at her.

“H-Hey!” he stammered out. Jim smirked at him.

“I'm going to go over there,” he said softly to his pal. Shojiro nodded blankly.

“Right…” he mumbled. Jim shrugged and walked away. Classic move there. Walk away to give your pal some time with a hot girl. A man needs his space with his woman. Jim knew that too well. So, he had to leave Shojiro and Kizo alone together.

Meanwhile, Shojiro couldn't speak at first. Kizo stared at him waiting for him to make a move. Shojiro swallowed hard at last.

“How have you been?” he asked at last. Kizo smiled a bit.

“Good I guess,” she replied. “You?” Her play toy nodded.

“Yeah,” he said. “I'm good!”

“Want to go somewhere private?” she asked.

“Yeah!” the boy answered quickly. His woman smiled at him warmly. Then, they headed outside of the building. The night seemed still despite the party in the building. Shojiro could hear his heart racing out here. He glanced over at his dream girl quickly. He looked out at the view again. The freshman tried to relax.

“Nice night, huh?” he asked.

“Yeah,” Kizo replied. Shojiro lost his tongue again. He just couldn't speak around her. (Who could around a beautiful girl?) But, the pin up star smiled at him again.

“It's okay,” she said. “You don't have to be nervous around me.” Shojiro looked up quickly.

“Huh?” he asked. Kizo smiled at him again.

“It's only me,” she replied. “I'm not going to bite you or anything. I'm only a person.” The boy nodded at her.

“Okay,” he said. Kizo gave him a little giggle.

“In fact,” she went on. “If you get to know me some, you'll find that I am just a normal college sophomore in TU.” Her boy raised an eyebrow at her.

“Do you… want me to?” Shojiro asked puzzled. Kizo nodded at him.

“Yeah,” she replied. “Is that a problem?” Shojiro shook his head quickly.

“No, no!” he yelled out. “I want to get to know you too!” Kizo smiled at him kindly.

“Okay then,” she said. “Let's get to know each other.”

“Right,” Shojiro agreed. Here came the start of their relationship.
