Chapter 2
I opened my eyes and looked around. There were ruins of a long forgotten place. A strange panel in the ground caught my eye. Walking over to it, I saw a moon crescent on it. As I looked at the markings on the poles around the panel, I relized where I was. I was on the moon, these were the ruins of my home from long ago.
I placed my hand upon the larger pole with a huge yellow moon crescent. A bright light surrounded me. I cried out as flashbacks of my past passed before my eyes. The scenery changed and so did I.
****(1st change of scenery)****
I was running along a path trying to beat my friend in a race.
“Maria, wait up,” called a young boy about ten. I laughed and kept going.
“Beat you Jedda,” I laughed standing on the edge of the palace walkway.
“Yeah, you win princess,” young Jedda said. “Next time I’ll win.”
“In your dreams,” I laughed.
“I’m older,” he laughed.
“Only by two years,” I said the gleefully ran towards the woman coming up the steps followed by a teenager about eighteen.
“Mamma, Jakar-kun,” the queen went to one knee and put her arms out in a hug.
“Hey kuja,” Jakar said.
“I’M NOT A KUJA!” I stomped on his foot really hard.
“Damn,” he said nursing his injured foot. “How can a squirt be so strong.”
“Jakar watch your language in front of your sister!” the queen yelled.
“Yes mother,” he said.
“Mamma,” I looked up at her.
“What is it dear?” she asked.
“Why are boys so cruel?” I asked.
“Some aren’t,” she answered, moving the hair falling in front of my eyes.
****(1st change of scenery ends)****
Another scenery appeared and I changed again.
****(2nd change of scenery)****
Eighteen year old Jedda walked up to twenty-five year old Prince Jakar.
“Everybody is getting ready, all the royal families from other planets and the ones who are to become your sister’s guardians will be here soon,” Jedda said.
“Thank you,” Prince Jakar answered. “Today my sister turns sixteen and has her coming out ceremony, I will make sure everything is perfect for her.”
“Jakar is it true, what they say?” Jedda asked.
“About?” Jakar turned to Jedda.
“That the princess will have five more guardians along with the planetary guardians,” Jedda said.
“Yes, but the fiver were chosen the day she was born,” Jakar said. “You know of Mystic, don’t you.”
“The princesses unicorn,” Jedda said. “Yes.”
“She is one of the five guardians,” Jakar said. “She has a strong bond with Maria, and has protected her from danger from her birth. The other four will show today, Maria has already met them, so she will know when they arrive.”
“Whoa,” Jedda said amazed at what was said as he looked over the land of the Moon Kingdom.
“Jakar-kun,” a voice said.
Jakar turned to see me and Mystic standing in the door to the palace wall walkway. He noticed I looked nervous.
“Nervous about the ceremony,” he laughed.
“No,” I snapped. I then looked away. “Well…maybe…a little…”
Jakar smiled and placed a hand on my shoulder, “Don’t worry you’ll be fine.”
“Thanks Jakar-kun,” I said. I looked up and gasped.
Jakar followed my gaze and saw black energy heading straight for the palace.
“Get her inside!” Jakar said pushing me towards Jedda.
One of the black energy’s hit right near us. When it disappeared a warrior in black armor stood in it’s place.
“It’s a Neither Warrior,” I said.
“Get my sister inside!” Jakar said more sternly.
“Please, let’s go princess,” Mystic said raising her horn as it glowed.
“I’m not leaving Jakar,” I said pulling away from Jedda.
Just as I started to run towards them, the warrior shot energy at me. My eyes widened, but something in my mind told me what to do. My hands shot up in front of me. An energy shield appeared around me and the energy beam disappeared.
“What,” the warrior said cursing. “So you’re the one were here for.”
I backed up as the warrior started towards me with his sword prepared to strike. Jakar stepped in-between us.
“Your not going anywhere near my sister,” Jakar growled, holding his own sword up.
“In that case I will kill you, then your dear little sister,” the warrior growled.
Within seconds the warrior and Jakar were battling. I watched as my brother battled. The battle raged for nearly five minutes. We thought my brother was winning until…
Jakar went to bring down his sword on the warrior when…the warrior disappeared and reappeared behind him.
“Jakar behind you!” I yelled.
Jakar spun around only to have a sword pushed into his chest right near his heart, blood spilling from the wound and covering the ground.
I gasped and started forward, but Jedda’s arms kept me from moving.
Jakar slumped to the ground as his eyes closed, blood surrounding him.
“JAKAR!!!!!NO!!!!!!”
**** ****
I sprang forward in my bed, sweat clinging to my skin as the door to my room burst open. Jakar shot in next to my side.
“Maria!” His arms went around me as I sobbed into his shoulder.
Sobbing still, I told him about my dream. He flinched when I told him the last part.
“It’s alright,” he said rubbing my back. “I’m here now, that’s in the past now.”
“Even…if…it’s in…the past,” I said still sobbing. “It’s still painful.”
“I know,” he said. “I’ve already received those memories. I was hoping you wouldn’t. You’ve been through enough, you don’t deserve to be tortured by those memories.”
“But it had been my fault,” I sobbed. “If I had listened and went with Jedda, you wouldn’t have been killed.”
“It wasn’t your fault,” he said sternly, looking down at me. “I would’ve been killed by the warrior even if you had gone. That warrior was stronger than me.”
“But…” I started.
“It wasn’t your fault, don’t keep blaming yourself,” he sighed. “Maria, for four-hundred years you have proven your strong and loyal. Don’t let these memories bring you down. Your never going to be alone again.”
“Thank you, Jakar,” I said laying my head on his shoulder.
“Sis…are you alright,” Kila asked from the doorway.
“I’m alright now, Kila,” I said. She ran up to us and climbed up next to me.
“Want me to stay,” she asked. I smiled at her as she curled up. I hugged her then laid my head down.
Jakar stayed until I fell asleep again, then stood up and turned the light off as he left.
**** ****
I opened my eyes looking out the window.
“That dream again,” I said sitting up.
It has been a month since the night I had that dream and the night, Kaiba called. Jakar had gone back to the Star Mansion in Star City, the family mansion. I remained here to stay beside my friends and boyfriend. Kila also remained, she had said she wanted to remain here with me. Sighing I stood up and went over to the window. It has been not even a couple of weeks since Jakar left.
Jakar had wanted me to come back with him, but I had refused. As much as I missed the friends I had in Star City, I didn’t belong there. So now it was just me and Kila.
Getting dressed in my low-rise jeans and a blue spaghetti strapped tank, I put on my tennis shoes and headed downstairs to fix breakfast.
**** ****
Three hours later, around 9:00, Kila came downstairs.
“Good morning big sister,” she said.
“Good morning, Kila,” I said placing a plate of eggs, sausage, and toast in front of her.
“How long have you been up,” she asked as I sat down at the table beside her.
“Since 6:00,” I answered, leaning back in my chair.
“You haven’t gotten much sleep since Jakar-kun left,” Kila said. “Are you alright.”
“I’m fine,” I said tapping her head. “I’ve just been under a lot of stress lately. The Starlights album comes out soon and so we have to be ready for the concert we’ll be playing for the opening.”
“Hey, isn’t the opening going to be sponsored by Kaiba Corp.?” Kila asked.
“Yeah,” I said. “Kaiba’s already giving permission that we can play in front of Kaiba Corp. main building. His company helps pay for our equipment, so he’s one of our sponsors.”
“Who’s the other sponsor,” Kila asked.
“Dual Fantasy Island,” I said asked.
“That’s your corporation though,” Kila said.
“Yeah, but some of the money we make there goes towards our band,” I said. “So I’m sponsoring it too.”
Kila shook her head as I chuckled at the look on her face.
*knock knock*
“Who could that be,” I said getting up and going to the door.
I opened the door to find Kaiba and Mokaba there.
“Hey Maria,” Mokaba said. “We didn’t mean to startle you.”
I just blinked because I was startled.
Catching on, I said, “Oh, it’s alright, come in.”
I stepped aside allowing them to come in when I saw a bus pull up.
“Kila! Your gonna be late!” I yelled.
*crash*
“Shit!” she yelled.
“Kila!” I yelled.
“Sorry!” she yelled.
She came running out of the kitchen with her backpack in one hand and toast in her other, nearly slamming into Mokaba.
“Oh, Sorry,” she said to Mokaba.
“It’s okay,” he said as she hurried up in putting on her shoes.
“Bye sis,” she yelled getting up and running towards the bus.
“Be careful,” I yelled back as she got on the bus. The bus then started on it’s way.
I sighed running my hand through my hair, Kaiba and Mokaba stood by the couch.
“Do you want anything to drink,” I asked them as I shut the door.
“Do you have punch?” Mokaba asked.
“Yeah,” I said. “What about you Seto.” I had taken to call him Seto even when Mokaba was around.
“I’m fine,” he said looking really annoyed.
I giggled and went to the kitchen to get some punch for Mokaba.
“I hope you like Hawaiian,” I said coming out. “Its all we have left of the punch right now. I haven’t exactly gone out lately to the store since Jakar left.”
“It’s fine, I love Hawaiian,” Mokaba said taking it.
“How long has it been just you and your younger sister?” Kaiba asked.
I sighed sitting down and laying my head against the base of the couch, “A good few weeks.”
I looked out the window, “He wanted me and Kila to go with him, but I refused and Kila remained here with me, She never really cared for that mansion anyway.”
“What bus was that?” Mokaba asked.
“Oh, that was Computer Tech. And Drawing,” I said. “What with the studio and running Dual Fantasy Island I haven’t been able to be home much, so Kila need somewhere to go. Their classes are running at Dual Fantasy Island, so she’s normally helping me out. Their job is to assist those at the park, and since I’m her older sister, they made her my assistant at the park. But today they’re having a field trip, so I’m not needed.”
“Oh,” Mokaba said.
I sighed and looked out the window. Yawning I leaned back against the couch, Kaiba was watching me.
“You alright?” he asked.
“Huh,” I said lifting my head. “Yeah, I’m alright, just tired.”
“You’ve been tired a lot lately,” Mokaba said. “Haven’t you been sleeping?”
“A little,” I said.
“What’s wrong?” Kaiba asked. I looked at him, he had a blank face, but his eyes held concern.”
“I…” I started when a phone rang.
Kaiba answered his cell. He talked for about five minutes.
“We’ve got to leave,’ he said to Mokaba as he hung up.
My shoulders slumped as they stood up.
“I did say we,” he said. I looked up to see him holding out a hand. I smiled as I took it and walked beside him to the limo.
He waited till I got in to get in, he looked at the drive, “Kaiba Corp. Main Building.”
“Right away, Mr. Kaiba,” the driver said as the window in-between the front and back went up.
“What’s going on?” I asked.
“Pegasus’s men are at the main building,” he answered.
“What!” I said, my eyes widening. “I thought Pegasus was still in the hospital because someone stole his millennium eye.” I already knew that, I just didn’t know who.
“He was,” Kaiba said.
“Then my would his men be…” I suddenly gasped as a vision from my Millennium Lunar Necklace. My necklace is similar to Isis’s, but isn’t one of the main seven.
“What’s wrong?” Kaiba asked. He gasped as I slumped forward. His arms quickly caught me.
“Something’s near,” I said. “Someone with a millennium item.”
Kaiba looked out the window too see Yugi and his friends near the Game Shop. Yugi’s Millennium Puzzle was glowing.
“Stop next to the game stop,” Kaiba said into the intercom that went to the front.
“Yes, Mr. Kaiba,” the driver said.
**** ****
Yugi and his friends looked up to see the limo pull up and Kaiba getting out, a hand on my shoulder.
“It’s that jerk,” Joey growled, slamming his fist together.
“Joey wait,” Tea said.
“Isn’t that Maria,” Mai said, she was also with them. She stood next to Serenity.
“Yeah,” Tristan said.
“Hey Kaiba,” Yugi said.
Mokaba got out of the limo, “Hey Yugi.”
“What’s wrong with Maria?” Tea asked, just as a beam shot from my necklace to the Millennium Puzzle.
“What?” Joey said as Yami appeared in front of all them.
Yugi’s eyes went wide, Yami was no longer in the Millennium Puzzle.
“Why?” Yami asked looking at me.
I slumped against Kaiba, his arms holding me up.
My eyes had a trans-like look, “You now have your own body, but you still have to combine with Yugi during battles.”
Suddenly my eyes turned normal and I stood straight up looking at the others.
“What was that?” Mokaba asked.
“That,” I said. “Was the power of my Millennium Star Necklace. As the guardian of the Millennium Items, I can separate the ancient souls within the Millennium Items. But…I cannot make it so for battles, my powers still haven’t reached that point.”
“That’s right,” Tea said. “I had almost forgotten, Maria is the Guardian of the Millennium Items.”
“Where’s your staff you had on Duelist Island,” Joey asked.
“Right here,” I said holding out my hand and my staff appeared.
Suddenly a chill went up my spine. I spun around to see someone in the shadows.
“Come Out!” I growled.
A demon looking creature stepped into the light.
“Hello…Sailor Moon,” the creature said.
“How…?” I said stepping back. “How do you know I’m Sailor Moon.”
“Your moon staff and that hidden crescent on your forehead, the sign of…” he said. “The Moon Princess, Supreme Princess Maria.”
My eyes went wide as disk as my staff fell to the ground.
*clatter*
“Your…” I gasped.
“Yes,” he said. “I am a Demon Warrior of the Black Moon Shadow realm. And I’ve come to destroy you. You stand in our way Millennium Guardian.”
Black energy surrounded him, “I call upon the darkness of the shadow realm, Shadow Ball Blaze.”
He shot a energy ball towards me.
Throwing my staff in front of Kaiba, Mokaba, and I, a shield appeared sis bursting the blast.
“You are a fool!” I yelled. “You chose the wrong person to attack, MOON STAR CRYSTAL POWER.”
My sailor suit appeared. Bringing my moon staff up, I twirled it in one hand than aimed it at the warrior.
“I am Sailor Star Moon, Champion of love and Justice, I shall right wrongs and triumph over evil, And…that means you!” I yelled.
Yugi and the others, even Kaiba and Mokaba were staring. They had known about the Millennium Guardian stuff, but not that I was Sailor Star Moon or a Princess.
“Hahaha, you really think you can win,” the demon said.
“I don’t think, I know!” I brought my staff up as I twirled it. “Moon…Cosmic…Heart…Attack!”
A huge light up heart surrounded the demon and when it went through him, he turned to dust.
I did my trademark twirl,” You lose!”
“Whoa,” Joey said.
“Shit,” I yelled. “Jakar’s gonna kill me.”
My suit disappeared as I slumped to my knees. I had just done a big mistake.
“Why would Jakar kill you,” Mokaba said.
I groaned standing up and turning to them, “Thanks to that demon, I just let out the big Sailor Star Moon and Moon Princess secret.”
“So the star family your from, is the royal star family,” Tristan said.
“Yeah,” I said. “It was supposed to be kept secret, so I could have a normal life. Well…as normal as it can be when you’re the millennium guardian.”
“Cool,” Joey said.
I rolled my eyes, “Well, Well, Princess clutz let’s out the secret.”
I spun around. “Mars,” I growled through gritted teeth.
Mars and the other three Scouts appeared.
“Looks like Miss. Clutz let out the secret,” Mars said with a hand on her hip.
I rolled my eyes and signaled Kaiba and the others to follow me, We started walking away.
“Hey!” Mars yelled.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” I said turning around and pretending to have a sheepish look on my face. “I thought you were done.”
“Mars knock it off,” Venus said with a hand on her head.
“Yeah, get off her case for once,” Jupiter said.
Mars quieted and sighed, “Fine…”
They powered down to their normal forms. I powered down as well.
“Let’s head to my house,” I said. “Everything will be explained there.”
They all nodded.
**** ****
Within a hour everyone was at my house. I was sitting next to Kaiba, who amazingly didn’t mind that the others were there. It took three whole hours to explain everything about our Sailor Forms, me being Sailor Star Moon and the Moon Princess, all the way up to the Millennium Items.
“So Kila is also a princess?” Mokaba asked.
“Yes, and Jakar is a prince, but…” I looked at the ground. “We have different fathers. Kila’s father was a strong human warrior, But Jakar’s and mine was…a demon.”
“Your father was a demon?” Mokaba said, eyes going wide.
“Yeah,” I said.
“Yes, but you’re the one who holds the demon blood,” Amy said.
“Don’t remind me,” I said turning stiff.
“Doesn’t Jakar have demon blood?” Mokaba said.
“No,” I said. “Somehow he is was full human, While I’m full-bloodied demon. Nobody’s been able to tell why I have full blood while Jakar has none. But…” I looked at my hands. “It was because of this blood that I was an outcast of the Moon kingdom.”
“That’s not true,” Raye said as I looked at her. “You’ve always had us as friends and despite your demon blood, you have the purest heart and are kinder than anyone I’ve ever known.”
“Thanks,” I said, she grinned.
“Your still a clutz,” she said.
“Rei,” I growled.
“Just kidding!” she laughed.
“Not funny,” I said as the doorbell rang.
I got up and walked to the door. As soon as I opened it three shadows shot passed me.
“What the…” I said startled. I closed the door and turned and grew even more surprised.
“Thunder, Lightning, Nightstalker!” I cried.
Two black as night werewolves with green eyes stood in the middle of the room. Plus a black panther with green eyes.
“Sorry to startle you princess,” Thunder said, the werewolf that was just a bit taller than the other.
“Jakar sensed that your powers were activated and sent us here,” Lightning, the youngest said.
“Damn,” I growled. “That means he knows the secrets out.” I looked at them as they nodded. “I’m in trouble…” They nodded again.
I sighed,” I hate when this happens, thank god Kila isn’t here.”
“Where is she?” Amy asked.
“A special school that is at Duel Fantasy Island,” I said. “Today they get a free day and are going on a field trip to a campsite on a small island that a good ways past the park.”
“Princess,” Thunder said, as I started to walk pass. “Your brother wishes for you to return to the Star Mansion with us.”
“More like demanded,” Lightning said. “He told us to do whatever it takes to get you to come with us. But we knew no matter how mad he gets, you’d remain here, so we’ll remain here as well.”
“Thanks, Thunder, Lightning,” I said. They smiled and nodded. “But Kila should return to Star Mansion.”
I shook my head, “I won’t be able to protect her and take out whoever this new enemy is.” Suddenly I got an idea. “Amy, you four will be returning to the mansion, right.”
“Yes,” Amy said. “Now that your five warrior guardians have arrived we’ll be returning.”
“I want you take Kila back with you,” I said.
“I’m not leaving you big sister,” came Kila’s voice from the door. Everyone looked toward the door.
“Kila…” I said sighing. “If you remain, your likely to become a target.”
“Maria…” she protested. I walked over to her and got down so I was eye level with her.
“Kila, please,” I pleaded. “I’ve watched too many people in my family get killed, you and Jakar-kun are the only family I have left. Go with them, I want to be able to know your safe.”
Kila’s eyes softened, “I’ll go, for you big sister.”
I smiled and hugged her tightly whispering, “Thank you.”
“We’ll leave in the morning,” Mina said. “We’ll be here at 7:00 to pick you up, make sure your ready.”
“Why that early?” Kila asked.
“This was we can get passed the enemy,” Amy said.
Everyone stopped as they heard snoring and turned to see Joey and Tristan sleeping. Yami grinned and Yugi backed up as a electricity-like beam shot at them.
“YIKES!” Joey shouted. “I’m up!” Tristan was currently putting out the fire on his sleeves.
“Who did that?” he asked, when he noticed Yami. “Oh, the spirit.”
Suddenly I remembered something, “Speaking of spirit, I’ve got to separate Ryou and Bakura the Tomb Robber.”
“You mean Mr. Evil from the Millennium Ring?” Joey asked.
“No Pegasus, of course that Bakura, Dog,” Kaiba said. Everyone froze, Kaiba, joking, not normal.
“Why you!” Joey shot up ready to pulverize Kaiba. “Don’t call me a dog!”
“As you wish puppy,” Kaiba answered with a cocky look.
“That cocky attitude of yours is really pissing me off,” Joey yelled.
“Really,” Kaiba said smirking. “Puppy.”
“That does it,” Joey yelled shooting at Kaiba.
“THAT’S ENOUGH!” I yelled. “Joey sit down, he’s only trying to get a reaction out of you.”
“Yeah, well he got one,” Joey growled from within punching distance from Kaiba.
Just as his fist was about to hit Kaiba, I got in-between causing me to be slammed into Kaiba.
“Big sister!” Kila yelled.
Joey’s eyes went wide as Kaiba helped me up, his face voided of any emotion.
“Big sister, are you alright,” Kila asked running to my side.
I winced but looked at her, “Don’t worry, I’ve been hit with worse.”
I looked at the others.
“Maria, why did you…” Mai started when her eyes suddenly widened realizing something, she gave me a questioning look.
I smiled and nodded my head to her unspoken question. Tea looked at her and soon relized as well. Eventually everyone relized what it meant too.
“You’re his…” Joey stuttered.
“Yep,” Mokaba said cheerfully. “She’s Seto’s girlfriend.”
Joey and almost all the others fell over Anime style.
“No wonder she got in the way,” Joey muttered.
“Consider your self lucky,” I said. “If I had let you hit him, you would’ve been creamed.”
“I could’ve won!” Joey yelled.
“Oh, yeah, sure,” I said rolling my eyes. “Just like on Duelist Island, if I remember, he creamed ya.”
Joey turned red as he remembered the defeat. I grinned as Kila gave me a washcloth, I wiped the blood from the side of my mouth.
“So how long has this been going on,” Mai asked as Kaiba, who’d given Mokaba a glare, gave her a glare.
“A year and a few months,” I said. Mai’s eyes widened.
Kila and Mokaba were currently whispering together.
“Let me guess,” Tea said. “The two “children” knew.”
“Hey, who are you calling a kid,” Kila said. “That reminds me, Jakar nearly went through the roof when he found out.
“KILA!” I yelled.
“Hehe, it’s true,” she jumped out of the was as I made a grab for her. “He even gave her a lecture about it.”
“KILLLAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!” I yelled as I began to glow.
“Yikes!!” she yelled, she grabbed Mokaba’s hand and they rushed upstairs as I was their heels.
But on the third step from the bottom my foot slip and I fell backwards. But the floor never came. I opened my eyes to find Kaiba had caught me and I was leaning right against his chest. My face turned blood red, while two miscreants giggled from the top of the stairs. Yugi and the others came in to find my face blood red, and Kaiba with hint of blush, as well as me in his arms.
“Ha…” Joey laughed as he was about to say something.
*slap*
Joey rubbed his head to see Serenity with her hands on her hips.
“Serenity?” Joey said. He sighed and crossed his arms, while the others snickered.
Kaiba, somehow didn’t feel embarrassed. How, he didn’t know. He may not have, but I did. I slightly backed up as the others snickered.
“Oh, dear,” Tea said looking at her watch. “I’ve got to leave, mom’s gonna be mad.
“We better leave too, Joey,” Serenity said.
“Bye Maria,” Mina said as she, the girls, and Yugi and his friends left.
Soon it was just me and Kaiba standing in the hall. My face was still blood red. I could feel Kaiba’s eyes on me.
“I’m sorry…” I said.
“For what?” he asked.
“Embarrassing your pride in front of Yugi and his friends,” I replied.
I felt him step closer and place a finger under my chin, bringing my eyes up to his. I got lost as I looked in his eyes. To him, my forest green eyes seemed to sparkle.
“Why did you get in the way of Wheeler’s punch?” he asked.
I tightened my fist together as my eyes dropped, “I didn’t want to watch you get hurt.”
I felt him step even closer and I looked into his blue eyes, “It’s because…I…love you.”
I looked at the ground, afraid of rejection. If he rejected me, I knew I’d die right there. I felt my chin being pushed up and our eyes locking with his head just inches from mine.
“And I…love you,” he whispered as he lowered his head closer.
I felt my heart explode and I closed my eyes as his lips pressed against mine. He groaned as my arms slid against his chest, going around his neck. I moaned when his arms slid around my waist. He slanted his head to deepen the kiss as his tongue ran along my bottom lip, asking permission. I parted my lips gasping when his tongue ran along mine. Becoming bolder I slid my tongue against his making him groan.
**** ****
Kila and Mokaba grinned from where they sat at the top of the stairs. Standing up they went to Kila’s room to play playstation, smiling because their plan worked.
**** ****
Kaiba and I broke apart gasping for air. I sighed and leaned my head against his chest as he held me.
“Ya know, I think those two planned this,” I said looking up at him.
“I’m starting to think that too,” he said, his emotionless mask gone.
“But ya know,” I looking at him. “Their plan worked.”
He sighed as he held me with one arm, his other hand rubbing the side of his head.
I smiled and leaned my head on his chest, “I like you this way, don’t ever change.”
He looked at me, feeling the walls of stone he had put up around himself completely fall down.
“Mokaba and I have to go,” he said kissing my forehead.
“So soon,” I pouted.
He smiled, “Yeah, I’ve got to get Mokaba home.”
“Alright,” I said still pouting. He chuckled, he thought I looked cute when I pouted.
**** ****
We looked in Kila’s room but they weren’t there, that’s when I heard noise coming from my room. We walked into my room to find the t.v. on and a duel going on. Kila and Mokaba were asleep on the floor.
“They must’ve come in here to watch the dueling tournaments.” I said. “Kila’s room doesn’t have cable.”
I shut the t.v. off, then tried picking Kila up. Kaiba picked her up and placed her on my bed as I pulled the covers up around her. He lightly shook Mokaba’s shoulder.
“Mmm,” Mokaba slowly opened his eyes. He grinned when he saw us.
“Did it work?” he asked sleepily.
I grinned shaking my head, “trouble maker.” He grinned.
“Come on,” Kaiba said as we headed downstairs.
**** ****
Kaiba had just finished calling his limo and Mokaba had fallen sleep on the couch. I leaned on Kaiba’s shoulder and watched as his limo pulled up. I sighed and looked up at him as he kissed my forehead.
“Bye, Seto,” I said.
He grinned and kissed my lips. I groaned as our tongues met. I was gasping for air when we broke apart.
“Night, love,” he said lightly pecking my check. My eyes widened, but a grin formed when I saw a small smile on his lips.
He walked over and picked up Mokaba. I watched as he placed Mokaba in the limo, then he turned towards me. He smiled and got in the limo. I waited until the limo was out of sight to close the door and lock it. I sighed happily.
**** ****
After getting some ice water, I went up to my room and changed into my night dress.
“Did it work,” came Kila’s sleepy voice.
I looked at her and nodded my head, she smiled.
“So,” she said. “What happened?”
“None of your business,” I said. “Besides it’s 10:00, get some sleep, your getting up at 6:00.”
She sighed and laid back closing her eyes, I smiled and laid down, Kaiba’s kiss was still in my mind, leaving my lips still with a tingling feeling.
Smiling I closed my eyes and fell asleep happier than ever.
