Chapter 3: Dreams.

Violet eyes opened and looked around wildly.

Where am I?

The orbs search for something to focus on. Finding nothing, the owner of the eyes began to struggle wildly. Chains rang out around, as the struggle continued.

Chains? What happened? I was in a battle. Ryo carried me up to our room and I slept. What is going on? HELLO?! RYO? CYE? SAGE? SOMEONE?!

Hello…. little Starfire…

Who in the hell?

You do not recognize my voice? I am hurt….

Illusion…what do you want?

I am touched…you do remember me.

The violet orbs met the red eyes that were glowing in the dark. Cryoa narrowed her eyes and struggled against the chains again.

I would not even try little one. You cannot escape me…Talpa wants you.

Tell Talpa to go to hell, Dais.

You know you belong with us of fearless leader…. What? You think we've forgotten about our leader? What do you think Kale?

Kale: Hmmm…Our little leader…Look at her, hanging there like the little bitch she is.

Anubis: None of us have forgotten how you abandoned us Starfire. Left us for Talpa to take us while you hid like a little bitch.

I did not know. I was injured in that battle…I had to go back to my element to heal…I am sorry…. Please forgive me.

Sehkmet: Fuck you Starfire…forgiveness is beyond us now…. Now we shall torture you until you die or join Talpa.

A sword was raked across Cryoa's arms making her realize she was no longer in her sub-armor. She bit her lip to keep from crying out in pain as blood poured down over her arms from the deep but not life threatening wounds on her arms. Dais smirked and raked his weapon down across her chest. Making several claw like marks in her flesh that immediately welled up with blood and dripped down her body. She closed her eyes against the pain and felt a hand on her cheek and then a stinging pain as a nail was dug in and dragged down across her flesh drawing a hiss of pain from her lips.

Dais: Scream for us Starfire…. we want to hear you beg….

Go ahead and keep dreaming Illusion…

Laughter surrounded her as the all stabbed into her causing shallow wounds in her torso. She cried out in pain as the wounds seemed to burn and fester. Their laughter increased as they did it again. Her cry turned to a scream as she arched against the chains, willing them to release her.

RYO! HELP ME!

Dais: No one will help you Starfire…. you will join or die.

Laughter rang out as she passed out from the searing pain that coursed through her.

"Ryo what's going on? Why did she scream? Holy shit…she's bleeding…." Sage exclaimed.

"I know Sage…she just started screaming and then bleeding! Get me towels and bandages…. NOW!" Ryo ordered.

Sage ran from the room, passing Kento and Rowen.

"Shit…What is going on?" Kento wondered.

"If I knew I would tell you!" Ryo growled.

"Man…sorry…" Kento said softly.

"She just passed out when I got her up here. And then all of a sudden she began screaming and then these wounds appeared." Ryo said looking her over.

Sage came back in with the bandages and they started cleaning her up and bandaging her wounds.

Dais smirked stepping from his illusion.

"Dais…How is our plan going?" a voice demanded.

"Very well m'lord. She's passed out. The spell on our weapons will weaken her resolve and she will be yours soon." Dais reported.

"Good." Talpa said vanishing.

"Sehkmet…. Keep an eye on her. I need to rest before we start again. Let me know when she awakens." Dais said vanishing to recharge.

"Of course…."Sehkmet said with a smirk.

"Are we having fun Sehkmet?" Anubis asked.

"Of course. The bitch deserves it." Kale responded.

"Yes…. she does." Anubis said fading into the darkness.

Kale soon followed and that left Sehkmet to watch the image of the bleeding Ronin in front of him with a smirk.
