Chapter 10

Touma stiffened in Seiji's arms, "My... my letter..."
"Yes, the one that you wrote to me right before you left." The blond felt a shiver to go through the body of the archer.
"I am sorry if I shocked you by confessing to you that I loved you... I know very well that you will never share the same feelings for me that I have for you." He said while releasing himself from the grip of the kendoka.
"Why do you say that ?"
"You remember the day when you found me close to the tree with my hands hurt ?"
"Yes."
"A few moments before that, I had overheard your conversation with Shin."
"And what did you hear exactly ?"
"That perhaps you should say to it that you loved it, but which you were scared that is not
reciprocal."
"But did you know who I spoke ?"
"No. When I heard that you were in love with someone, I left the manor."
"Perhaps then, you should have stayed a little longer, then you would have discovered that the person that I was in love with... that I am in love with..." Seiji took the hands of Touma in his, "is you, Touma."

The archer opened his eyes wide with astonishment and before he could say anything, the young samurai of the light gave him a small kiss on the lips.

"Seiji, I can't believe it," Touma ran his long, fine fingers along Seiji's face, as to make sure he wasn't actually dreaming. He skimmed the mouth of the blond with the tip of his fingers, then with his lips.

One of his hands slid along Seiji's neck, then inside the half-opened shirt. Under his palm, he felt the heart of his friend, which was beating rapidly, but he could also feel something else.

"What's the matter with you ?" The swordsman asked when Tenku stood up abruptly.
"This scar..."
"What ?"
"I don't understand how you can't be angry with me. I almost killed you." Once again, Touma's stormy blue eyes misted up.
"But Tou, it was an accident. I don't therefore have any reason to be angry with you or is there a reason for you to feel guilty. If I must be angry with you for something, it would be to have left me. When you left, it was as if I had lost a part of myself."

Korin joined Touma who had moved towards the window, turning his back to him. The archer could feel Seiji's hot breath at the nape of his neck, making him shudder.

"Touma, I love you," whispered the blond into his friend's ear. "Don't let a detail of the past mess up the happiness that we could have together. I believe that we have already lost too much time by moping about each one already there." He wound his arms around Touma's waist and started to plant small gentle kisses in his neck.

The blue haired boy turned over to face up to the blond. "I love you too, but now what can I bring to you ? I -"

Seiji placed a finger against Touma's mouth to silence him. "Why do you have the impression that your blindness would be an obstacle for our feelings? Blind or not, what counts for me, it's to be with you... And if something seems insurmountable to you in this darkness, then let me be your light."

With these words, the archer huddled up to the kendoka. "I missed you so much Seiji..." They stayed this way for several minutes, just holding each other, before returning to the couch.

Touma settled comfortably in Seiji's muscular arms, while the latter ran a hand through silky blue hair.

"Will you return to live at the manor ?" Asked the blond.
"I can't..." The archer answered softly.
"Why ?"
"I have a new life here. I haven't said anything about it yet, but I have a job now..."
"That is marvelous ! And what do you do ?"
"Lyne had been amazed by the speed that which I had learned the Braille alphabet, because knowledge that I have. She then talked about it with her director and he proposed a teaching position for me. I even have my own flat close to the institute." He explained while playing nervously with Seiji's shirt. "You understand why I can't leave. If I return with you, what I will be able to do ? There is no school specialized in Tokyo for the blind." Touma explained a little sadly.
"And if I stayed here ? Besides our friends, I don't have links which keep me there." Seiji held his friend a little tighter.
"You would really do that for me ?"
"Of course. Now that I have found you, I will not leave you. I can very well finish my studies here and hunt for a dojo where I could give some courses to earn a little money."

Whereas they spoke about the future that opened for them, the words were replaced gradually by caresses and soft kisses.

Too busy with each other, they didn't even realize that somebody was watching them.

To appease her legendary curiosity, Lyne came back to check that all had gone along well. She had her ear stuck against the door, while hoping to be able to hear something. Unfortunately, she couldn't detect any noise At least they are not killing each other. It's necessary that she knew, then she opened the door and entered as silently possible.

The young woman made for the living room. She suddenly heard murmurs that resembled 'I love you', accompanied by small moans of pleasures, then she discovered, to her greater happiness, that a new couple was being formed under her roof, It's about time. She thought while slipping away, thus leaving Seiji and Touma to savor this happiness that they had hoped and dreamed for so long.
