A twenty-nine year old Talpa was walking through the dynasty's flower garden with his wife, Ophelia,

and his ten year old daughter, Hayley. It was a beautiful and peaceful day. They were enjoying the

warm sunshine after the long cold rainy days. It was the perfect day, until a horrible thing happened.

A bright white light filled the sky and an old man came out of the heavens. "Great." Talpa thought.

"This is all I need." Talpa whispered to his wife. Talpa walked toward to old man. "Why are you here.

I thought we were going to meet in two days." Talpa asked the old man. "We did, but I need to have

a word with you, Arago." Talpa shook his head. "Can't it wait for two more days. I was wanting

to enjoy the day with my family as you can see." Talpa pointed at his family, who were standing

just a few feet away. The old man looked at both of them, then at the ground. "That is the reason

I am here, Arago." The old man looked up at Talpa and continued. "I was sent here to.... to do

something I will dread doing." Talpa stared at the old man wondering what it was that he was sent

to do. "What do you mean?" asked Talpa. The old man turned and walked a few feet away. He

kept his back turned against Talpa, he did not want Talpa to see the anger and hurt in his eyes.

Suddenly he whipped around and shot an energy blast at Ophelia and Hayley sending them flying

through the air. Talpa screamed out and ran to where his family landed. Tears fell to the ground

as he saw that both of them were dead. "No. No. This can't be happening. No. Please Ophelia,

my love, please wake up. Hayley, sweetheart, open your eyes." He held both of them in his arms.

Slowly, he carefully laid them down on the ground. He struggled to his feet. Tears fell down his

cheeks. "Why? Why did you do that for?" Talpa turned around to face the old man. Just looking

at the man made anger go through Talpa's body. He wanted to kill him for killing the only family

he had. The old man stared at Talpa, knowing that if he stayed there real long, Talpa would kill

him. The old man looked at the ground where the two girls laid, then back up at Talpa. "I am

sorry Arago. I am very sorry. I was sent here to do it. I didn't want to, but I had to. I am sorry."

Talpa stared at the old man. He didn't know if he wanted to believe him or not. "Who sent you to

do this?" Talpa pointed a shaking finger at his dead family. The old man didn't know what to say.

He didn't want to tell him who sent him to do this horrible deed. After a few frightening minutes

went by, the old man built up enough courage to talk to Talpa. " I am sorry, but I can not give

out that information. As much as it hurts me to see you in pain, I can not." The old man took a

step back as the collar of his shirt was grabbed by the furious Talpa. "What do you mean you

can't tell me who sent you to kill my family?" The old man tried to break free from Talpa's grip,

but failed. "I am sorry but I can't. If I do tell you, then he will kill me." Talpa picked the

frightened, old man up in the air. "If you don't tell me who sent you, then I will kill you." Tears fell

from the old man's eyes. Either way he would be killed. He closed his eyes. "Okay." He opened

his eyes. Talpa sat the man back on the ground. "Well?" Talpa said folding his arms across his

chest. The old man put his hands in his pockets then took them out, then put them back in again.

Talpa noticed this and grabbed his hands. "Tell me or you will not have your hands very much

longer." Fire swirled in Talpa's eyes. "The Ancient." Whispered the old man. "What did you say?"

The oldman looked in Talpa's eyes. "The Ancient sent me to do this horrible thing." This shocked

Talpa. He let go of the old man's hands and stumbled back a few steps. "The Ancient wanted you

to do this?" The old man stared at the horror in Talpa's eyes. "I can not believe this. Osurea sent

you." Talpa folded his hands to a tight fists. He shook because of all the anger and saddness he

felt. He couldn't beleive it. Osurea. The Osurea he grew up with. No. I couldn't be. "Are you sure

Osurea sent you." Talpa said through clenched teeth. The old man nodded. "Osurea and a few

more of the Ancients wanted me to kill your family. The reason why, I don't know." Osurea.

The name ran through Talpa's mind. "There was more that wanted my family dead?" asked the

shaking Talpa. The old man nodded. "Now if you don't mind, Arago, I have to go." said the old

man taking a few steps back. If I hang around here Arago would surly kill me. I know I don't

want to go back to where the others are because they will kill me for telling Arago. I need

to go into hiding, but where?
The old man noticed that Talpa was staring at him. "I am sorry,

Arago. I really am, and I would stay but, I really have to go." Talpa glared at him. "Why? So you

can go and tell Osurea that the job is finished?" The old man's eyes opened real wide. He waved

his hands and shook his head. "No. No Arago, I would never do that. I just need to go, before

the Ancients find out that I have went behind their backs and told you who sent me. Honest."

Talpa turned his back against the old man. He looked down at his wife and daughter. He shook

away the tears that filled in his eyes. "You can go." Talpa said qiutely. "Thank you Arago and

again I am very sorry." With that, the old man disappeared. Talpa stood there, in that one spot,

staring down at his family, for a long time. Finally he bent down and slowly and carefully picked

up his daughter and carried her to a place where she can rest in peace. He sat her down and

kissed her forehead. He walked out to get his beautiful wife. When he laid Ophelia down next to

his daughter, he started to sob uncontrollably. A few minutes later he finally calmed down a bit.

He took both of their hands in his. He leaned down and kissed both of their foreheads as tears fell

down his cheeks. He spoke silently to them. "My dear sweet Ophelia and Hayley. I am so sorry

what happened to both of you. I am sorry I couldn't protect you. I didn't know. If I would just

have known..." He started to cry again, harder than last time. A few seconds later he studdered

out the rest of the sentence. " I swear to you, I swear I will kill them all. I promise you. You did

not deserve to die like this." Talpa got up, kissed both of them again and left the room. "Rest in

peace my angles. I love you both." He walked into the castle and headed toward the throne

room. He was really pissed at the Ancients for doing this to him. Taking his family away from him

like that. "This means war. I will get my revenge." Talpa pushed the doors to the throne room

open. "I will make sure that those damn Ancients will never mess with me again. I will destroy

them all and take control of the mortal realm that will teach them for messing with me. Nobody

will beable to stop me." Talpa walked over to the magic mirror. He waved a hand over the mirror

and the picture of the Ancients appeared in the mirror. Talpa smiled. "Today will be your last day

alive, Osurea." He closed his eyes and teleported to where the Ancients were gathered.

"OSUREA!" Talpa yelled. Osurea turned around and looked at the angry Talpa. "Arago. Hey uhh.

What are you doing here?" Osurea turned toward the other Ancients just to see that all of them

were no where to be seen. Cowards. Osurea thought. He turned around to face Talpa when he

noticed a sword in Talpa's hand. Fear came to Osurea's eyes. "Now Arago. Why do you have

that out for?" Osurea backed away from the coming Talpa. "You killed my family." A blank

expression came to Osurea's face. "What ever do you mean? I did not kill your family." Talpa

smiled. "Oh yeah. That's right. You didn't kill my family." Talpa stopped walking towards Osurea.

Osurea relaxed a little. "No. You didn't kill them. You had someone else kill them for you." Talpa

started striding towards Osurea. Oh no. That damn old man, he told him. When I get my hands

on him!!!
"Arago believe me. I had to. They were getting in your way." "LAIR!!!!" Talpa yelled.

"Okay. Okay. Arago. The reason why I had someone kill them for me is because I...." Osurea

stopped short when Talpa's sword was at his throat. "You better tell me the truth, Osurea."

Osurea swallowed. "Okay. Arago. You want the truth, then put down your sword and we will

talk and I will tell you why." Talpa thought about it for a second, then ended up putting away his

sword. "The reason why I killed you family is because I was hoping that you would kill yourself."

A surprised look came across Talpa's face. "Why? Why do you want me to kill myself?" A smile

went across Osurea's face as he brought out his sword and put it up to Talpa's throat. "You don't

get it do you? The reason why I, Osurea, killed your family is because, I despise you. I always

have. When we were little kids, I always hated you. You were always perfect at everything. You

always managed to get something I really wanted. I made a promise to myself that one day, when

we got older, and when you done something to really piss me off, then I was going to kill you.

Guess what, you did piss me off. You married my wife-to-be. I loved her, she was the most

important thing in my life until she married you. Now I am going to get my revenge. Any last

words before you die, Arago?" Talpa was frozen solid. "I never knew that I done that to you,

Osurea. I am sorry that I did all those things. But I am not sorry for doing this." Talpa took out

his dagger and shoved it into Osurea's side. Screaming filled the air. Osurea's sword fell to the

ground allowing Talpa to summon his sword once again. When Osurea looked up, he found

that Talpa's sword was pointing at his throat. "Osurea I don't care if I did all that to you when

we were young. It does not give you the right to go and kill my wife and my daughter. I will never

forgive you for that. Good bye. Osurea may you rest in hell with all the others like you." Talpa

brought up his sword and brought it down, slicing Osurea's head in two. Talpa stared down at

the dead Osurea. "This is the day when I, Arago, no, Lord Talpa, starts my revenge against the

Ancients for killing my family and ruining my life. They all will pay." Evil laughter filled the air.
