Seiji steps over the corpse of some nameless human who had been unlucky enough to enter the castle. The moans of other dying humans fill the hall and he shivers hopelessly. He strides into the Dining Hall, his power crackling and sizzling in an aura of amazing strength around him. The Demons and others at the tables seem startled; it is obvious that they did not expect one of his powers to besiege them like this-in honesty, they could not possibly have expected such wrath. His anger gives him still more strength and he overturns one table with a flick of his wrist as effortlessly as drawing energy. The Dining Hall is uncannily quiescent as he strides towards the High Table with the aura of power surrounding him. Lloyd stands and raises a wineglass to him, pretending that the whatever-the-hell-Lloyd-is was expecting the Fated One. Seiji's only response to this maddening hypocrisy is to shatter every wineglass present and make the torches blaze so bright as to blind. Lloyd's mocking smile brings more anger, hence more power, and suddenly something golden and wonderful and strong courses through Seiji's veins instead of the blood he once fed on. Lloyd extinguishes the torches with a wave of his hand, but it is obvious that he must work hard to undo what magic Seiji has wrought. Seiji brings them back to blinding light with a languid lift of his finger, and therewith kills the Demon on Lloyd's right, who falls upon his plate, becoming in death the greedy pig he was in life. Lloyd's anger feeds him still more power, and Seiji kills even more of Lloyd's faithful followers, paying them back for the evil they have dispensed. And suddenly Lloyd is alone, save for those that may someday redeem themselves, and Seiji finds that this combat is to his liking, for the redeemable are too weak to face him. Seiji smiles a smile of terrible cruelty, however beautiful, and they are completely alone in the room, with not even the dead to watch over them.
