Shattered Dreams
Chapter Five: The Ray of Hope
By: WingsofSakon
Seiji didn't think Shin would go home right away. He spent most of the evening out searching for him. When he couldn't find him. He decided to head back home. Thinking he would come back sooner or later. When he got home though. He seen the others sitting around the house strangely. He knew Shin had already been there. His heart stopped at the thought that he possibly already left. Instead of going up to an empty room he had to ask some one where he was.
"Where's Shin?" He asked looking at them in the living room.
"He's packing his room." Touma answered softly.
"Seiji… " Ryo interrupted. "He made the decision to move out."
"I know, Ryo." Seiji assured him as he went up to Shin's room.
Upon getting to his room he saw suitcases laid out. With Shin putting folded clothes into one. The other was already full of clothes and some other miscellaneous objects. From the looks of things, Shin had just about every thing ready to go.
"Shin… " Seiji said to make himself known.
"Hi, Seiji." He said zipping one up.
"Shin… you didn't have to leave."
"No, but it's only right that I do."
"What do you mean?"
"Things… would be too awkward for every if I did. Besides… where would the next Torrent sleep?"
"You're still our Shin. We want you to stay with us."
"Now… how is that truly possible? You don't trust me enough to fight with, but you still want me to stay and be you're companion? I have broken exactly what I represent. I'm no longer fit to be a comrade of any sorts."
"That is not true. We are still your friends. We still need you. It's not that you left us, Shin. It's just that you took off on your own and didn't let us help you. You acted as though you didn't trust us. You're doing exactly what we thought you would do. If indeed you could ever betray us." Seiji confessed the truth.
"That's what this is about?" Shin said in shock looking strait at him. "Oh, I feel so much better! Why don't you help me unpack? Then later how about I cook dinner for all of you then we go see a movie." Shin said sarcastically.
"Shin stop that." Seiji demanded pulling him close.
"What? You actually think that was suppose to help matters? How could you even remotely think I would ever betray any of you?! Do you really think I'm that weak? I went to help my family and you think I'll betray you. Was what I did that wrong? Not only that… I go home and I get a phone call about you and Touma! And I'm the one in the wrong! If… I'm the one doing any betraying. It's leaving my family behind when they could really need me. I came back and now I'm told this. You tell me! Is what I did that wrong?" Shin said trying to escape Seiji's grasp.
"Shin, no. I was wrong for not waiting." Seiji said trapping Shin in his arms. Holding him as tight as he could. "We just needed to hear you say you'd never do it. That's all, Shin. Please, stay with us. We need you on and off the battlefield. Stay." Seiji said trying to calm the now sobbing warrior. Seiji noticed that the others had come up some time. They were standing in the doorway watching. With mixed expressions on their faces they waited for Shin to calm down and answer.
"I… " Shin said pulling back from Seiji to answer. "I need some sleep."
"Sure." Seiji said knowing it was his answer.
"Here let me clean off your bed, chum." Shuu said putting the suitcases on the floor. Conveniently putting things back where they came from at the same time.
"If you need anything… " Touma tried to say.
"I'll be fine." Shin answered. "Thank you."
Seiji led the others out with him. Ryo stayed behind. He sat down by Shin. Who was now under his covers facing the other way.
"Shin… " Ryo said but was cut off.
"It's okay, Ryo. Although… " Shin paused.
"What?" He asked softly.
"If you ever need to know some thing next time. Just ask me."
"I will. We'll be down stairs if you need any thing." Ryo said getting up to leave.
Shin was so tired from the day's events. He wasn't sure exactly when he fell asleep. Or just how long he had been sleeping. He was woke up by the sound of the door opening. He figured it had to be Shuu. Since they shared the same room. Although when his bedside moved and his light turned on. He wondered what he wanted. Which flipped out his mind when the door shut as the bed moved again at the same time. He sat up and seen Taka by his side.
"I hope you weren't sleeping too hard." Taka mused.
"How'd you get past… " Shin was going to ask.
"Actually, he let me in." Taka said smiling.
"I thought I told you goodbye." Shin said.
"I thought I told you I wanted an answer first."
"I gave you one."
"That may have been an answer, but I want a real one." Taka said brushing away Shin's auburn bangs.
Barely being awake. Shin couldn't think very fast and suddenly found himself feeling vulnerable. He was at a loss for words. He pulled his covers closer and away from his visitor.
"I'm sorry if I hurt you." Taka said now brushing the bruised skin. Examining his features.
"Taka… " Shin said pushing away his hand. "I lied to you you're right. I wanted to be a friend, but it's not possible right now."
"Why not? Nuriko, my friend… he's Seiji's friend." He asked getting closer.
"I… I don't know." He couldn't think. He wasn't awake yet for explanations. The distractions weren't helping much either.
"Shin… don't leave me now, please." Taka said as he pulled the fragile boy close.
"I'm not, it's just… just… " Shin was again distracted. Only this time he couldn't push his hand away that was making its way back up his spine.
"Shhh… " Taka cooed in his ear.
"Taka… " Shin was in shock as he got cut off by a kiss.
Shin tried to push away again, but ended up being trapped under him on the bed. His squirming of trying to get away. Some how made it easy for him to maneuver under the covers to him. His resistance was only making things worse.
"Shin." Taka said in his ear. "I just need you, please, Shin." He said as he caressed between Shin's legs. Feeling the heat that was getting warmer against his palm. Making his green eyed angel squirm now from pleasure. He listened to small gasps and barely heard groans that were slowly getting louder. So, he slipped his hand under and began to stroke him to his own heartbeat. With one of the gasps he found it as an opportunity and started another kiss. Shin's hands clutched to the blankets. Taka couldn't believe how he tasted. He was so sweet and soft. He explored his mouth with time and gentleness. Shin had lost his mind to his pleasure. He wanted him since he seen him. Now he was here. Savoring every part of his body. Every touch sent shocks of electricity to the base of is neck and through out his body. The bliss was almost unbearable to take. He was lost in it. That's why it was breathe taking as he felt him enter his body. Between the pain, shock and pleasure. All he could do was let out a silent scream. Taka leaned into him and brushed his tears away. He could feel his tightness and the moist heat. Squeezing hard enough to make him feel like. That was what was making him feel slightly dizzy. Now a little unsure he went slowly and gently. He didn't want to hurt him again. He kissed at his neck and teased at his lips. He watched his hazed over eyes close and shut as shocks of pleasure escaped through his body. Then as his own pleasure gathered he had to force himself to bite back his bliss as Shin buckled under him. Letting another silent spasm take hold he opened wider for him to join him. Taka clutched at the sheets pushing further. Feeling his release fill his lover. Making the sweet heat crave more. Taka didn't have a choice, but wait till his body allowed him to leave.
When he had calmed down. He rolled over to hold him and nuzzled into his silk hair. Remembering Shin was trying to say some thing before he cut him off. "What were you going to say my love?" He asked quietly with a smile. Knowing Shin was already on the edge of sleep. He listened close. Knowing that if he replied. That it would be from some where close to his dreams. He barely heard him say. "… Miaka." Taka held him tighter.
