Summer Fun

It was a beautiful summer day. The temperature was almost over 120 degrees Fahrenheit and there was a slight breeze. Someone who didn't live near a lake would probably be inside, but for the Ronins and their girlfriends they're outside having fun. Or at least they're about too……

"C'mon Rowen," Julia stood just outside the Ronin of Strata's door. "How long does it take to get a swimsuit on?!"

"Just one second!" a voice answered.

"You said that an hour ago! Sage was ready way before you!" She turned the doorknob only to find it locked. "C'mon! Let me in!"

She banged her shoulder against the door while turning the doorknob. All of a sudden the door flew open and she would of tumbled inside, but Rowen quickly caught her.

"Whoa, easy there!" he yelled.

He gently pulled his lover to her feet. He couldn't see if she was wearing a swimsuit because she had one of his shirts on over her swimsuit. Julia pulled back from his grasp and looked him over. He was wearing dark blue swim trunks with waves on them. He also had a black shirt on.

"I wouldn't wear that if I were you." Julia stated.

"And why not?" Rowen questioned.

"Because if you do, you'll get sunburned. The darker the color the more sun energy it doesn't reflect." Julia answered matter-of-factly. " I thought you knew that."

Rowen smiled. Even though he was the brains of the group, Julia knew some things he didn't. Which would explain why she worked as an Emergency Vet on the weekends. They were just coming down the stairs when they heard a truck pull in the driveway. Julia ran to the door to help out whoever it was.
