Time as of Now

Two figures looked out into the orange sky. They were watching the scene change into night as dark clouds hovered over the city of Toyama, the city they were assigned to protect by all means. The two grimaced as the dark clouds hang motionless over the beautiful black sky perfectly aligned with the stars that glittered happiness. All was silent as the waves of thunder shook its fury upon the world, lighting striking violently across the deep black mass of force. The two figures ran into the apartment that they were staying at in a hurry as rain began to flow massively down upon the dry Earth.

They closed the door behind them and went to the window to look over at the huddling dark empire of clouds. They glared upon the rain and looked at each other.

"The time has come to prepare for the fight of the century."

"It is, but sister, why is it we, who must protect this world along with five others that we hardly know about?" the other figure asked.

"Are you stating that this world's not worth saving, dear sister." The other lifted an eyebrow.

"No, Jamie, I'm not, I'm just wondering why we, two young girls, have to face off with century old beasts. It's not worth it to be selfish, I know, but…"

"I know Jesse, you don't like to fight, but what choice do we have?" stated the twin.

Jesse looked sad, but nodded and walked away. Jesse went into the den, where she took a golden box from the long table and opened it up where two orbs were placed. One grew dark red and the other grew dark blue. Jesse took the one shimmering dark blue and held it in her right hand, an attribute of Hope progressed upon on her forehead. A memory eased itself into her mind as she remembered her reaction to what she was to do with this orb.

*FLASH BACK*

"What's this?" said a young girl of the age thirteen maybe fourteen as she picked up a crystal marble from the earth's floor. The girl gasped when she felt something pulsing upon her forehead. She looked into the clear lake and saw a Japanese or maybe Chinese symbol flickering on and off. She gasped and backed away from the crystal clear stream when she saw a man with a big brown hat covering his eyes wearing blue and white fuku clothes mended upon his body, a golden staff with wings, golden orb glowing, and clanging rings in his right hand.

"Who're you?" she asked with a little curiosity plus fear. The man smiled at her and eased his staff toward the orb in the child's hand.

"You're not to be concerned with who I am, for you will see me in the future."

"Then do you know of this and where it comes from?" she pointed at the orb in her hand. "And do you know of this symbol that flickers on my head?"

"That orb in your hand is your armor, which comes from a long time ago, carrying the name of your family. It has been in your family for centuries and you have been chosen to be the third Lady Ronin."

"What are you saying?"

"You are to fight in a war along with your sister, and many others who will aid you in this far and complicated journey." The man stated. The girl, absolutely stunned by this comprehension, just stared at the man in the water.

She sat down, speechless. "Are you all right, Jesse."

Jesse looked at him for a minute, "How did you know my name? And what is this all about! I am so confused! What war will take place! What's it to me to save the world from this evil?"

"Too many questions are hard to answer for my time is limited here. When you put on your armor it will all come to you. Just look inside yourself, Jesse."

*Flash Back Ends*

"Why do I have to fight? It isn't right for innocent people to get hurt, but I still have the choice of not wanting to fight or not." Jesse put the orb back in its place and closed the box, putting it down back in its spot. "Choice or no choice, I have to fight, for the good of the world, for the good of the people, for the good of myself…"

All of the ronin warriors lounged around the Koji Estate until they heard a cry of surprise that came from up the stairs. They ran upstairs and into the office, in which they found Mia sitting at her computer with Yulie by her side.

"Hey Ryo, guys, come see this. It's about new armors!" exclaimed Yulie, once he saw Ryo and the others in the doorway. They looked surprised and scrambled to the computer.

They looked at the computer with pure astonishment. "Mia, I thought that you found out that there is only the Ronin and Warlord armors," said Ryo.

"Well, I did. But that is only when I had my grandfather's latest data. I found this disk in an old box when I was cleaning the den," Mia replied.

"Well, what does it say about these armors?" asked Kento impatiently.

"Well, it says that these two armors were made by a demon called Eylous. He made them for evil purposes but the orbs of the armors went to side of good when the Ancient came and took them from him. He turned them in the symbols of Love and Hope.

One is called WhiteFire and the other one is called Stars. The WhiteFire armor was worn before the time of Hariel and the Great War between the armor wearers and Talpa, who took over after Eylous came, and also was worn by a man with a kind heart and fearless.

A woman, also in the period before Hariel and his fellowships fought the evil dynasty, wore the Stars armor. It is said that a woman of the clan, Star, could only wear it. They also tell of how they met and fought together, also fell in love, and had children, and soon died. It was said that the Ancient took back the orbs and is now waiting for the successors of the family to come. He is also waiting for the fourth battle of the dynasty verses the two. Only that it isn't Talpa but a much greater threat. It doesn't say much about the Eylous demon though, all it says is that he was the creator of them." Mia explained. All the guys were silent, sinking in the information they had just heard.

"So that means we have to prepare for another battle?" asked Sage.

"Well, lets get to it," replied Kento happily. All the guys nodded in agreement and walked out of the office to their rooms to get their orbs they had received from the warlords for just in case and train hard for the battle to come.

Four figures entered the throne room that was once owned by Talpa. A shadowy demon sat upon the ruined throne. None of his face was revealed to the light. All that could be seen was his glowering eyes that was bright red. The four figures bowed respectfully and waited till the demon in the throne to speak

"My faithful warlords and sorceresses. You were summoned here for a reason."

"What is it do you wish of us Master?" asked the one with gold and black sub-armor.

"Well, Jerah, you and Lady Ashley will go to the Ronin Manor where they are staying at and take the Jewel of Life. Then you will report back to over here. That is the beginning of our plan. After that, Iocy and Blades, I will tell you what to do when the time comes." The master commanded.

"Yes Master Eylous, it'll be done." The one called Lady Ashley said. The four of them disappeared very quickly

"Now the time has come to feel the wrath of the dynasty, RONINS!" Eylous laughed. The candles blew out suddenly and the laughter of evil blew with the wind.

"COME ON SAI!" hoorayed Kento as he watched Sai and Sage spar.

"Rowen, are you next to spar with the winner?" asked Ryo curiously.

"I think so," inquired Rowen from underneath the thick book he was reading, "unless Kento would like to go."

"Sure, I'll go," Kento said with a smirk on his face. Sage and Sai stopped sparring and the winner was Sai. Kento and Sai then picked up sparring with each other.

As Kento and Sai were sparring, two figures were on a big limb of a tree that was near the Koji Mansion. They were watching the Ronins spar with each other.

"Yess this is it. The puny warriors that defeated the almighty Talpa," said one of them in a vicious voice.

"Yes they are, but remember, Jerah, only get the Jewel of Life from the woman that is in that room over there." The other figure pointed to a woman that was typing furiously at a computer.

"I remember, Lady Ashley, but we have to get passed through them first. Shall we?" Jerah said with a sinister laugh. Lady Ashley nodded and laughed also.

Sage was cleaning his face with a towel when he felt an evil presence in the mists around. He looked all over the place to find the source of evil he had felt.

"Sage? Sage are you ok?" asked Ryo concernedly.

"Do you feel that?" Sage whispered quietly.

"Feel what?" Rowen asked looking up from his thick book. Then it hit him like a sharp knife on the back of his head, his senses going all wacky. "Oh, that." Rowen said blandly. Sai and Kento had stopped sparring when they felt what Sage and Rowen felt. Ryo felt it too.

"SHOW YOURSELVES!" Ryo yelled out. All of a sudden, two figures jumped out of the tree that was by the house.

"Who are you?!" yelled Sage. "What do you want with us!"

"Well, little Ronins, we are here to take the Jewel of Life. And you can call me Jerah, Dark Warlord of Spite!" Jerah announced himself. He was wearing armor of gold and black. He pulled out his twin katanas.

"And you may call me, Lady Ashley, Sorceress of Power." Lady Ashley said as she pulled out her whip. She was wearing a black and white body suit that was a two-piece with a long skirt that had two long slits on the sides that was black. She had on tan boots that went knee high.

"Well, you aren't going to get the Jewel of Life. We can bet that you won't!" said Ryo with a fact. "RONINS TO ARMS! ARMOR OF WILDFIRE DOU JIN!"

"HALO!"

"TORRENT!"

"STRATA!"

"HARDROCK!"

They all had transformed into their full battle armor and stood ready to fight.

"You think that you are going to stop us from getting what we want! I don't think soooo!" Lady Ashley laughed as she prepared to do her sure kill. "RIVER RIFT WHIP SHATTER!" she called out as she whipped the ground. Water and electricity came clattering out. It hit the ronins unexpectedly and they fell to the ground in agony.

Ryo managed to get up and clasp his twin katanas together. He surged up his sure kill. "Flare up Now!" fires and light bolted toward Lady Ashley and Jerah. After a while, the smoke cleared and revealed the two still standing, no scratches or anything.

"Oh no. It didn't work," said Sai hoarsely.

Lady Ashley smiled and walked over toward Ryo, who was now on the ground, breathing hard. He was still a little weak from the last battle with Talpa.

"Oh you poor little Ronin! You're still weak from destroying Talpa, aren't you? Poor baby. Now let me just put you out of your misery and you'll be fine." Lady Ashley said laughing. The other ronins watched in horror as she took out one of her soul sword form a pouch on her side and was about to pierce it through his armor to his heart.

"Ryo, no!" all the ronins tried desperately to get up but could not. The energy still held them down in pain.

"Told you that we will get through you all and get the Jewel of Life." Jerah laughed. Suddenly, a flash of light was unseen heading toward Lady Ashley, hitting her hand and cutting it, making her sword fly out her hand.

"AAHHHHH!" she screamed out of pain and clutched her hand tightly. "Who dare does that?!" she yelled enraged as she looked at the ronins, but they were helpless on the ground. She then noticed two figures on the top of the house. "Show yourselves you imbeciles." The two figures jumped down and revealed themselves. They were in clad armor. One was dark red and white, the other was in sapphire blue and black. The red/black armor was like the cruelty armor but it had similarities of the wildfire armor. It had the helmet that was exactly like Wildfire. The other one was like the strata armor but had the exact helmet of wildfire. "Who are you!" Ashley chimed.

"I am Jamie of WhiteFire!" it revealed a girl's voice.

"I am Jesse of Stars, the Third Lady Ronin." She also said.

"It can't be!" Jerah muttered. "You two, alive?"

All the ronins managed to look up and saw the two armors. They gawked at the two.

"It's the armors from the legend we heard about," said Ryo to himself as he managed to see them and the battle that was about to occur.

"So the legend about the WhiteFire and Lady Ronin Armor will find new suitors is true. How conniving. Master Eylous will be thrilled to hear of your returns. He'll also be glad to have your armor back." Lady Ashley laughed as her face got serious. "After I kill Wildfire, then I will kill you two and take your armors plus the Jewel of Life. If you do not mind." She then smiled and picked up her sword once more and strolled toward Ryo again, who was trying to sit up.

Feedback Pleez, it would really make me smile. I know you think this is a pretty worn out plot but I've managed to find this and do a little more improvement. This use to be called Warriors of Love and Hope concerning two girls, but I'm going to have it focus more on the ronins. (laughs with glee).

I wrote this about four years ago when I was thirteen years old and really stupid. So I found it and did the improvements and made it what it is today. I have noo idea when the second chapter will update. If you like it, I'll continue it, if not, (pouts) oh well ya win some and lose some.
