Inuyasha smirked slightly then said sarcastically as his brother went by,"Nice match." The demon lords eyes flashed insatiately red then he grabbed the half breed slamming him through the wall, he continued on knowing he shall have none to draw strength to be with him, unlike the others.
The former manslayer glanced over to his last opponite as a commotion was heard and the demon slammed his own brother through the wall, causing Kenshin to cringe whispering,"This one knows that must have hurt..." His thoughts traveled as he looked away wondering who the next battle will be fought by.
Chuckling slightly a samurai with red eyes laughed amused watching the others then muttered,"Tournament of the best my ass....this will be a walk in the park, hell maybe even easier. They beetle put me up against something better then these, or this will be all too easy." Chuckling even more as he walked away to prepare for his match.
Sango slowly strapped her mask on whispering,"Father...I wish you could be here to see this day...I will fight to defend all our pride, and allow the taiyia village to raise again. I shall not let you down." Quickly lifting her boomerang with one had on the right shoulder she began walking with a fierce look of determination locked on her face while heading to the arena ready to face anything that would come in her way from victory.
The crowds roared as the female taiyia entered the arena, while at the other side Demon Eyes Kyo waited with his sword already drawn, they both sized eachother up quickly, trying to know what to expect. Quiet filled the arena until Sango let her boomerang loose without her usual yell of the weapons name.
It shot out rapidly and without warning, but quickly the samurai cut it directly in half, it falling just as rubbish, causing her eyes to widened feeling her hope sink down a few levels, covering it up before it was apparent she draw her katana then rushed at Kyo both their swords clashing, while her face held a fierce look of determination.
Kyo smirked suddenly as he just vanished from the sword lock, nowhere to be seen the taiyia bite her lip searching around of where he might be, but suddenly leapt forward crashing into the floor, just barley missing a lethal attack from Demon Eyes then rolled over after she grabbed her poison powder throwing it directly hitting the samurai in the face.
Coughing he muttered,"A little dust cant stop me." Then he went to attack again, but the taiyia blocked the attack with a blade that shot out from her shoulder of the uniform, directly afterward Sango used the other blade which shot out of the other side to throw the five foot long sword a far distance, sending it skidding across the floor some distance away. Taking a quick glance to the taiyia he shot off to retrieve his sword, but once again coughing got to him, making him pause for breath, just long enough for the taiyia to trip him, then jump onto of the samurai with her katana's blade tip resting just above his heart.
After a brief stand still the samurai fell unconcess due to the effects of poison, then she gotten up, being declared the victor she smiled whispering,"I'm just a little closer...soon we shall be able to rise again...but first I must overcome this ordeal."
The cheering of the crowd became hushed whispers as a white haired cloaked individual, with his hair going this way and that came into the arena then continued walking till stopping directly next to Kyo, as he took out a parchment beginning reading,"Demon Eyes Kyo.... the punishment that shall be served if he is to lose in this very tournament is as follows, he shall be killed with a dagger made of gold in a single blow." Smirking slightly he drawn out a dagger then said,"He shall be the luckiest of the losers." With with a moment that felt as if it lasted forever he stabbed it deep within the chest of Demon Eyes Kyo, sending a shot up everyone's spine as the reality of the tournament hit them all. Then as quickly as he had came out he lifted the body up and walked out, with the coliseum floor stained with the blood from the first punishment.
