"I am so bored " thought Yahiko as he looked again for something to do.

It was a hot and boring day at the Kamiya dojo and Yahiko had a rare day off from his training, something that happened about once a month now. Sano was sleep but even if he was awake he would probably be out gambling with his buddies.
since it was his day off from training, took Ayami and Suzami shooping since they were running low on food.
was to busy cooking by what Yahiko could smell. It smelled like rice balls. Kenshin was trying to teach Yahiko how to cook ever since Shishio was defeated. It was fun at first but then it got tiring so he gave up on it.
been 3 years since the defeat of Shishio and Kaoru has been pushing Yahiko harder and harder in his training and from what she told him at the end of yesturdays training, he's almost mastered the Kamiya Kasshin Ryu.
only other place for Yahiko to go would be the Akabeco(Note: If I spelled it wrong e-mail me the correct spelling) but surprisingly even though it was hot they were having a really busy day. Plus there was no point in spending his money since Kenshin was cooking.
am so bored!!" shouted Yahiko, "Shut up!" came a muffled voice from inside the dojo. Yahiko turned and looked toward the door and heard footsteps coming. A few seconds later Sanosuke came out, his white shirt with the symbol " " on the back was rumpled and his hair, which always looked crazy, looked even worse since he just woke up.
been walking around grumbling to yourself for about an hour now. Why don't you go fishing or something?"
you kidding? Don't you feel how hot it is? Only an idiot would..." Yahiko cut himself off when he relized what that meant. Going fishing would mean going down by the water and the river had to be a lot cooler than here. " Why did'nt I think of that ?" thought Yahiko.
thanked Sano, grabbed a towel and took off toward the river. When he got there he walked along the bank and found a secluded spot where he could swim and would'nt have to worry about anyone finding him.
found the perfect spot but it was pretty deep into the forest. He stripped down to his underclothes and got into the cool water. "Ahhh, this is perfect. If only I had thought of this sooner." Yahiko got out and jumped back in to the middle of the pond swam to the bank and just closed his eyes and drifted of into sleep.

He was running through a long and dark corridor, and at the end he could see a doorway, and on the other side he heard the sound of steel on steel. Yahiko pushed at the door but it would'nt budge, then he heard the sound of a sword going through a body the squishy sound of the flesh getting ripped, the wet splash of blood and the sound of snapping bone, and the scream that came from the other side. " That sounded like Ayami!" What sounded like muffeled talking came from beyond the door but he could'nt make it out.
the sound of a sword going through a body came and again came a little girl's scream, this time it was Suzumi's voice. Then he heard muffled shouting and the sound of feet running. What sounded like fists hitting a sword came through next, " That has to be Sanosuke". Yahiko shouted and started banging on the door but the sound did'nt stop.
he heard a blade whistle through the air a contect with two bodies at once. He heard a man gasp and a woman scream out. Then he heard an unfamiliar sound like someone throwing up but it was a lot louder.
person came, he heared the feet running, but this time he heard clearly what was being said. " You evil demon! Why would you do something like this!?!?" It was Kenshin screaming at somebody. "I did it because they were starting to annoy me." came a second voice.

"That has to be the murderer!" But the voice did'nt seem to fit Yahiko's description of a murderer it sounded human and like a person who was a little over 25, around Kenshin's age. With a scream that was unlike Kenshin he heard feet running, then again the clash of steel on steel. Then the door opened.
it opened the smell of blood was so strong Yahiko thought he would throw up everything he ever ate in his life. There was a dull light in the room but there was no lanturn or anything else that gave off light, then he saw the bodies.
Ayami had both her arms severed and blood was still pouring out, Suzumi had no legs but her eyes were still open but were glazed over with death. Kaoru had a sword clutched in her hand, a real sword, that surprised Yahiko more than the fact that she had no head, and Sano also had his eyes open and they where looking at the lower half of his torso that was a good five feet from the top half.
looked up and saw the two fighting, Kenshin was pulling every technique of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu that he could but even the best, the Battoujetsu and the Kuzoriusen( Note: Someone please tell me how to spell these names correctly and if you can could you give me the name of the ultimate technique? Thanks!), were having no effect on his opponent. While they were moving Yahiko got to see who Kenshin was fighting.
had long silver hair down to his waist with to long bangs in front of his face. He wore a red long sleeved shirt with cuts at the elbows, and matching red pants. He wore no shoes but had a necklace on that looked like it was made out of black pearls with four fangs on the front. But Yahiko saw dog ears poking out of the hair and claws holding a sword that was almost as big as Sanosuke's old Zanabalou.
demon side-stepped an attack from Kenshin and took the opening and cut Kenshin from his head to the middle of his back, almost in two. Blood sprayed, then the demon turned and started coming for him,Yahiko backed away when the demon sheathed it's sword. "What are you? A demon?" " No" he said "only half" then he struck out with his claws.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!" Yahiko's scream ripped the air. What a nightmare, he looked up and estimated he was a sleep for about 2 hours. Kaoru's probably home by now, guess I'll head back now. He dried himself off and looked at how scriveled he was, put his clothes on and headed back to the dojo.
Well that's my first chapter I hoped everyone liked it and I'll put chapter two up as soon as I can. In chapter two I'll show my spin on life after Naraku through the eyes of Shippo.
