Chapter one: Red light, Green light
"Kagome-chan…you need to give up on the violent bastard," said Kuni with stress wrinkles appearing on her forehead.
"Yeah Kagome-chan, Hojo-chan has been patient for 2 years! He came over to help you when you where sick and this JERK hasn't seen you even once when you were sick," scowled Naoko furiously with annoyance written all over her face.
Kagome stopped walking and turned to her friends. Since they were out shopping, there were a lot of people around, who stared at them or just ignored them and bump into them mutter a apology. Kagome finally had gathered her thoughts and just gave them an evil glare. When they saw this look in Kagome's eyes they felt as if they had shrunk to about 3 inches tall.
"Listen you guys!! He has his reasons why he is violent! He has had a tough life and the only way to survive was to be tough and violent. Also, he doesn't come to see me much, because I remind him to much of is ex-girlfriend, who died in a car crash. I understand you guys don't like him or accept him, and all I have to say is…….too god damn bad," yelled Kagome, who looked up and was blinded by a bright read light.
She shielded her eyes from the burning brightness of the light. When the light disappeared, she looked around and everything stayed the same. Her 2 friends had a look of worry on their faces and when Kagome saw this she was confused.
"WHAT?"
"Kagome-chan…are you alright?"
"Yes, why wouldn't I be," Kagome said with a suspious look on her face.
"Well, your face went pale and you started to chant something! Also your eyes were glazed over like someone or something took over you…."
"Okay, I get it! It must be time for my "medication" So I'll talk to you guys later," said Kagome walking back towards her house.
`I think I'll stop by the temple and pray that I get good scores on my English and Math Tests," Kagome mumbled to herself. As she turned the corner of the street to the temple she saw a caped figure on top of the temple entrance. She started to panic, and also a little angry at this person. `I hope they don' fall, but why climb up there? They should respect the temple and not use it as a freakin' climbing tool,' she thought to herself and started up the stairs at a fast pace.
Before she could reach the top of the stairs, she tripped over her own foot, but as she was falling she looked to see the crazy person looking straight at her with their hardcore gray eyes. Then her face met the concrete. She got up rubbing her forehead, where the big bump was, and it took her a minute to take her to remember why she was going up the stairs at a fast pace. She remembered about the person being on top of the entrance and when she looked up the person was gone.
"…How…who…when….," stated Kagome who was so confused and still rubbing her forehead from her fall. Then she thought to herself `maybe, I'm just seeing things!' She continued up to the temple and decided to pray while she could remember.
When she reached the top of the stairs, she saw one of her friends from her school, and her best friend. Kagome walked over to her friend and waited until she was done praying. When she was looking at her friend she was praying so hard that she was starting to have sweat drops on her face! `Dang she really must want this wish to come true,' Kagome thought to herself. Her friend clapped her hands and rung the bell 4 times to finish her prayer.
"Wow, Sango that must be a very important prayer to ring the bell that many times," said Kagome with a friendly smile on her face.
"Huh? Oh-yes, sorry I didn't see you there! You're Kagome-chan right," asked Sango teasingly to Kagome.
"WHAT!?! SANGO!! I've known you ever since the sand box! You don't remember my name," yelled Kagome who was shocked and crying.
"Come on Kagome-chan you know I would never forget a friend like you," replied Sango who patted Kagome on the shoulder and shook her head.
"I know just wanted to hear you say that," said Kagome smiling at Sango, who fell down.
When Sango go up, she saw that Kagome was doing the 100 prayers method. `Ah, a test must be coming up! The girl never passes her test, but always manages to pass her assignments and homework,' Sango thought to herself and started to giggle when thinking of the last time Kagome tried to use a magic ritual to help her with her test. She walked along the temple grounds; she loved the temple, because of the harmony and serenity of the place. She listened to the birds chirp and he wind blow.
A shadow behind one of the many Sakura trees was looking at Sango. The man in the shadow held tight to something around his neck. Right before he could get her, Sango turned around to someone calling her name.
"DAMN," said the shadow figure and vanished behind the tree.
"Sango-chan! Sango-chan, you still here," called Kagome with her hands around her mouth to make her voice louder.
"There goes the silence around this place. I'm over here Kagome-chan," answered Sango with regret in answering Kagome's call and waved her over to her.
The shadow figure returned to view Sango more closely. Then a smirk formed on his face when he saw Kagome. `This is going to be fun. It'll be easier to kill it with one go,' thought the shadow to itself, and when Sango and Kagome were about 2 ft away the shadow figure jumped out from behind the Sakura tree.
"HUH?"
"OH-NO!"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANGO-CHAN," yelled Miroku with a present in his hand.
"NO! My prayer didn't come true!! Damn prayer! I knew I should've never tried it!!! I'm never praying again," said Sango, who grabbed Kagome wrist and ran down all the steps.
When they reached the bottom, Sango was hunched over huffing and puffing and Kagome was lying on the ground dizzy and motionless.
"No…Freakin'…way! He…wouldn't…remember…that…would he," Sango asked out loud.
"Yes, I did. An I'm here to get what I came for," said Miroku who appeared in front of her.
"Geeh…can you hold on real quick?"
"Yeah…."
Sango stepped over Kagome's motionless body and pulled a book from her book! She opened the book and then grabbed out a witches outfit. And then she pulled out a wand and put the book on a stand and started to chant.
"*MOTOKO-CHAN I SUMMON YOU! COME TO MY AIDE! AND KILL THIS MAN! MOTOKO-CHAN I SUMMON YE! COME FORTH!"
"Sango-chan? What are you doing? You can't summon anything near a temple," said Miroku to Sango, who fell and got back up to try again. He worked his way over there and took her book from the stand.
Sango started to shake her wand to get it to work, but it didn't so she gave up! Then she looked at Miroku and glared at him!
"I was to summon Motoko-chan! Believe me any girl would try anything in my position," yelled Sango finally noticing he had the book!.
"Love Hina is my favorite manga! Wait a minute….."
Sango had a sweat drop come to her forehead!
"Wasn't the she the…..hot sexy swordswoman?"
Sango punched Miroku in the stomach and he flew 50 ft up in the air! She put the Manga back in her bag.
When Sango looked up and saw someone walking by and a bright green light shone in front of her and when she blinked abut 20 seconds later it was gone!
Miroku looked at her with a worried look on his face.
"Sango-chan are you okay? You chanted something and your eyes where glazed over," stated Miroku.
"Eh…"
"Yeah my other friends told me that too! Sango did you see a read light," asked Kagome who popped to Sango's side.
Sango didn't answer and just stood there staring into space. `Who are those people I just saw in my head? Do I know them?' questioned Sango to herself.
