A Blessed Day 2
Chapter 4: Baby Shower
Kenshin and Sano were walking up to the dojo gate when they heard a
sudden squeal.
"What in hell was that noise?" Yelled Sano.
"It sounded like Kaoru yelling. We'd better make sure everything is alright Sano!!!" Said Kenshin.
"Right you are Kenshin." Said Sano.
Kenshin flicked open the blade of his sakabatou, and Sano readied his fists.
"Ready Kenshin? If there's someone in there, we might have to be careful."
As the two got closer to the dojo gate they heard more squeals, that sounded like they were coming from more than one woman.
"That sounds like Megumi, Misao, Tae, and Jou-chan." Said Sano. "We'd better get in their Kenshin it sounds pretty bad. We've
gotta save our women!!"
Sano and Kenshin run to the door and Sano breaks it down with his Futae no Kiwami. Kenshin draws his sword.
"Okay who's in here!!! Who's attacking our women?" Yelled Sano.
"You had better come out that you better." Said Kenshin.
Then suddenly both Kenshin and Sano felt something very hard hit their heads.
"Orooo!!!" Kenshin said as the water bucket hit his head with deadly accuracy.
"You stinkers!! What do you think your doing?" It was Kaoru.
"We heard squeals coming from the dojo so we thought someone was attacking you that we did." Explained Kenshin.
"Ya we heard all of you screaming." Said Sano, his eyes swirling.
"Megumi, Tae, Tsubame and Misao threw me a surprise baby shower you idiots!!!" Said Kaoru.
"A baby shower?" Said Kenshin bewildered.
"What's a baby shower." Asked Sano.
"It's where your friends throw you a party and give you presents for the baby, chickenhead." Said Megumi.
"Well then why did you squeal, Kaoru koiishi?"
Kaoru's face softened at the sight of Kenshin's obvious confusion as to what a baby shower was.
"Kenshin, koiishi, that was a squeal of happpiness. THe girls all chipped in and got a crib for the baby, and some clothes to."
"Oh well that was very thoughtful that it was." Kenshin smiled.
"I have just one question." Said Sano. "Why didn't we know about it?"
"Well we didn't think you men would want to come. It's kind of a girls thing." Said Misao.
"And we are still in the middle of it, so if you want to come in come in." Said Tae.
Sano gave Kenshin a look as if to say: Please let's get out of here.
"I think we'll go find Aoshi, Hiko, and Yahiko, that we will." Said Kenshin.
"Okay, but don't be gone to long. You have to see what we got for the baby, Kenshin." Said Kaoru.
"Okay." Kenshin gave Kaoru a gentle kiss and walked off with Sano to find the others.
As they walked off Sano shook his head.
"Women are scary. A shower for a baby? I ask you you..."
Chapter 4: Baby Shower
