Chapter 3

 

--Flashback--

 

Kaoru lazily swung her front door open. Right now she needed comfort. Those therapy sessions always made her like this. They made her think about what she didn't want to even remember. She made her way into the kitchen where she tiredly leaned against the counter. Sapphire eyes stared calmly at the phone and then strode over to a bottle of vodka. Wasn't it obvious which one she would pick? One thing about vodka was that it would make her troubles go away for a while, let her linger in La La land. About an half an hour later a tipsy Kaoru headed for her bedroom for a good night of sleep.

 

--End Of Flashback--

 

 

No wonder her head hurt so damn much when she woke up. Vodka always had that affect on her.

 

`I cant even believe I almost called Aoshi last night, congratulations Kao for being the stupidest woman in the world!'

 

But part of her stilled wondered what would have happened if she actually did call him. Well enough of that would of, could of, should of bullshit.

 

--Flash Back--

 

“Sano, I really feel bad about how are weekend with Kaoru went. I mean , She goes through so much. I just wished I could of made her a little cheerful.” Megumi sighed. Kaoru was her best friend she would do anything to make her happy. Even if the girl got on her nerves at times.

 

Being pulled into a soft embrace from behind a soft smile bloomed on Megumi's face.

 

Resting his head on her shoulder Sano spoke quietly, “She'll be fine she just needs some time. Since were going out tonight get her to come she needs to loosen up.

 

Megumi only chuckled. “You know Sano for such a stupid broom head that's not such a bad idea!”

--End of Flash Back--

 

`I could not believe I let Sano and Megumi drag my sorry ass into this club!' God was she that miserable that she wasn't enjoying her favorite club Milani?

 

She was bored, her sapphire eyes scanned the club for any of her friends but they all were in there own little world.

 

`I thought this night was suppose to be about me damn it!'

 

There were many cute boys out tonight, but I wasn't up for flirting since I knew half the men in here were dogs and just wanted to freak in the sheets. But wasn't that what I always did? But whatever.

 

I sat there at the bar alone, usually most guys would come on to me when I was alone. Why did I even care, if someone did come up to me I would just make e'm go away. I needed a drink.

 

I ordered a vodka, why! Vodka does some serious shit to me only god knows why I asked for it. As soon as I took a sip of my precious drink I could practically feel a pair of eyes burning into my back. I turned to be greeted with Amber Eyes. We sat there for a while just looking at each other. Until I of course broke eye contact. God I know I'm good looking but there's no need to burn holes into me! He stood and headed over to me.

 

My heart was pounding furiously. What was the matter with me, I never acted this way when a guy approached me.

 

`Be calm Kaoru, be calm. Play it cool.' Kaoru slightly nodded her of approval. That felt a little better.

 

He leaned against the bar counter and ordered himself a drink. I got a better look at him and if I must say the man was gorgeous. He had fiery red hair the nicest body I've seen in a while, and I mean a while! Those eyes I don't even have words to explain it. Hhm maybe they were contacts...but then again that would be kind of gay.

 

`What the fuck! Why isn't this asshole making a move on me!?

 

As if he read my thoughts he slowly turned himself towards me. He didn't say anything he just looked me up and down.

 

`God I was getting pissed off! Say something damn it!' My mind hollered at me.

 

“I suggest you fuck off if you have nothing better to do than stare me down.” I said nastily.

 

He smirked

 

“What makes you think I was staring you down?”

I loved his voice already.

 

“Hhm I don't know maybe the fact that you're eyes were roaming every inch of my body!” I hollered.

 

He let out a dark chuckle.

 

“Well I consider it hard not to look since your the sexiest woman I've seen all night.” He said calmly, a little to calmly for my liking.

 

“Could of fooled me.” I said nonchalantly.

 

I was about to take a giant gulp of my vodka until I looked at it and found that my cup was empty, I frowned.

 

“Let me buy you a drink love.” He offered.

 

Ha! Like I would ever reject an offer on a drink.

 

“I just want a refill.”

Why can't I ever say no to vodka?! Half an hour later why head was swimming in the clouds. The bastard wanted to get me drunk! But hey it worked.

 

“I got to go to the bathroom.” I said quickly.

 

I got up and nearly fell right on my face! Wow I was so tipsy right now.

 

“Here I'll escort you to the restroom.”

 

What! Escort me to the restroom?

 

“Fuck no you pervert! I can make it there myself.” I said with my chin up.

 

He put both his hands up in defeat. He told me he would wait for me to return.

 

Instead of heading for the bathroom I found myself at the exit. To hell with Megumi and them! Right now my ass was tired as shit and I just wanted to go home. He probably was still waiting there, thinking he would get a good fucking out of me. Like hell he would, he's just another pretty face. He'll be fine.

 

I made my way to my car nearly tripping on every object in my way. Wow I was so drunk right now. This was too funny!

 

A pair of arms encircled me from behind. I let out a yelp.

I already knew who it was so I didn't bother to turn and see.

 

“You're drunk.” He whispered into my ear.

 

Duh! Was it not obvious.

 

“Yeah thanks to you!” I shouted.

 

He started nuzzling my neck then the nuzzling became kissing, then the kissing became licking.

 

`What is this man trying to do to me?'

 

“Let me take you home. If you drive you'll crash.” He pointed out.

 

“Oh, what a loving thing to say.” I said sarcastically.

 

I let him lead me to his car because.... I don't know why. Maybe because I really wanted this guy to fuck me.

 

When I got in his car my eyes immediately fell on a picture of a woman.

 

God it was that bitch! Why does he have a picture of her!

 

“Who is she to you?” I blurted out.

 

His amber eyes strode over to the picture.

 

“That's my ex-girlfriend.” He admitted.

 

Oh what a small world! This only meant one thing he knew that son of a bitch!
