"Oh, just a guy Sano knows," she was too tired to talk about it. "To sleepy to talk about it." Kaoru yawned.

"Kaoru!" someone yelled, "Is that you Kaoru?"

It was a female, you could tell by the softness of the voice. The gang turned around to see who it was, and what shocked Kaoru was that it was…

"Kamatari? What are you doing here? I thought you were in Kyoto! Why didn't you tell me or Yahiko you were coming here?!" Kaoru yelled in shock. Her sleepiness was gone (A/N: To: HaPPy_BuNNy and others who guessed that it was Kamatari…CONGRAGULATIONS!!! YOU GUESSED RIGHT!!! and…how'd ya know?).

Kamatari smiled. "Its nice to see you too Ru-chan! I just wanted to surprise you."

Now, Kaoru looked confused "How did you find me?"

"Oh, let's just say, a little twerp told me"

"What? You mean Yahiko?"

"Yep! Anyway, so how's it going? Found a guy to break your curse yet?" Ru-chan was Kaoru's nickname for Kamatari. Kaoru only let her and only her, call her Ru. No one else could call her that, except her… and her parents…but they were gone. She once again pushed those painful thoughts of her parents away in the back of her mind. As Kaoru heard this, her face turned lightly pink.

"Kamatari! It's not a curse! It's only a promise!" Kaoru whined, "besides, what about you?"

Kamatari had a look on her face that Kaoru guessed what meant 'no'. "All the guys I knew were brainless assholes who wanted my money," Kamatari, being a fashion designer, was rich with her designs. Misao and Megumi giggled, while Kaoru and Sou just chuckled, "so, I'd say…NO!" Just then, Kamatari remembered something.

"OH! I haven't introduced myself to your friends Kaoru! That is so rude of me! Gomen! My name is Kamatari Kamiya, and it is so nice to meet you guys"

Soujirou smiled…still "Its not your fault Kamiya-san! I should be the one to apologies. I'm Seta Soujiro but friends call me Sou."

"Well, call me Kamatari if you want your apology accepted," She then looked at Megumi, who looked determined at something, "and who might you be miss…?"

"I'm Megumi Takani. You wont take my Kao-san away from me! She's mine!" everyone sweatdropped.

"…Ru-chan? What's she talking about?"

"I'll tell you later when we get back to our dorms."

"So, what about you miss…?" Kamatari looked at Misao.

Misao stared at her. "You mean me? I thought you remembered Tama!"

"Eh? Itachi? Wow! You look different then the last time I saw you, and you even look more like an itachi now!"

Misao crossed her arms and turned around. She grumbled something about evil friends, calling her itachi.

Sano had told them, he would be home late to see a friend, so they went home before him. He would have to meet Kamatari later tomorrow. Sou and Megumi said their good-byes to them, and went to their own dorm they would be sleeping. It was 10:21 already, they would have to wake up early for tomorrow if they didn't want to get kicked out of college.

Kamatari would be staying at Kaoru and Misao's dorm until she could find an apartment. She planned on living here in Tokyo for the time being. It had been long since she came back here.

As Kaoru unlocked the door to her dorm, she saw Yahiko on the floor, sleeping with two other little girls who looked no older then 6 and 5 using Yahiko as their pillow. They were on top of this comfy, puffy white blanket, given from Kaoru so they could be comfortable while she was away. The T.V was on so Kamatari turned it off. It was a site to see, if only her camera had not broken last summer because of dropping it on accident.

Kaoru's old father's friend, Dr. Genzai was somewhere far away, so he had left a note to Kaoru and Misao that they would have Yahiko and Dr. Genzai's two little grandchildren stay at their house for two days or more. His two little grandchildren were Suzume and Ayame, really cute, actually, they were adorable little angels.

Misao yawned, "I'm going to sleep. G' night you two." She went to her room and closed the door gently so she wouldn't wake up the little sleepers on the floor.

"So, Ru-chan, did anything interesting happen while I was gone?" Kamatari whispered softly, careful not to wake anyone up.

Kaoru smiled but as she remembered the events at the club, she turned angry at the thought she couldn't defend herself like she did when she was around other men who were lustful over her. Women were another story. They weren't lustful over her…well kind' of, but really flirty.

Her sister saw her look and stared at her for a moment. Then something hit her. "YO-" an 'shhhhhhh' could be heard from Kaoru and a groggily "Shaddup" could be heard from behind Misao's doors. "er…oops? Ehehehe…so~? You met another man instead of that one guy who…I'm sorry Kaoru, I didn't mean to make you remember. But who's the new guy? What does he look like? Is he hot? Or is it a she? You didn't think the girls I saw staring at you with hearts in their eyes go unnoticed by me, did you? Don't tell me your gay!"

"Kama-nee-chan," Kaoru whined, "don't worry, I'm not gay, I could tell you that. Besides, I've gotten over 'him'." Kamatari 'hmphed' but looked relieved nonetheless.

"Then, who is he?"

"Kamatari, it's a playboy, AND I don't even know him. All I know is that he's an arrogant cocky bastard, and his name is Kenshin." She was whispering, but not loudly. Kaoru was afraid that she would've woken up the little ones and she felt like she needed some exercise. She hadn't trained in a week.

"Where's the restroom? And uh…where would I be sleeping?" Kamatari asked.

"You'll be sleeping in my room with the little ones…or if you want…you could sleep with miss snoring itachi." A slightly loud snore and then a mumble came from Misao's room. "oh, and the restroom is the last door to the right."

"Thanks, I'd rather sleep with the little ones, but where will you be sleeping?"

"On the couch."

Kaoru went into her room and changed into something that showed she was actually a girl. She came out wearing blue fitted leans, a regular white shirt, no bandana and was carrying something that was wrapped up in a navy cloth. Kaoru looked at the kids, who were sleeping on the floor, for a moment.

"Kamatari, watch the kids and please take them into my room. If anything happens, go to Misao. She can help you. I'm going out for some fresh air."

"Sure. Where are you going though?"

"I'm just going to train in the park."

"Kaoru, be careful. You know people these days. Especially guys."

"Kamatari, you know fully well that I can take care of myself. Besides, I have my katana with me. What could possibly go wrong?"

"Yea well, I am your sister after all. All elder siblings are protective over there young ones." (A/N: like me…o.O;;)

"How's it goin' Kenshin? It's been a long time since I saw you. What about ice block? Where is he?" Sano asked.

"Were doing fine. Aoshi's at the apartment, but Sano, do you know that girl who I was kissing awhile ago, the one wearing male clothing?"

"Yea! She's like my little sister. Wait, how'd you meet her? Why did you even kiss her? Don't tell me she's your new challenge! If you break her heart, I'll make your death so painful that you'll wish you were never born! (A/N: I could've had it much worser, but I didn't want anyone offended by it.)"

"Is she that important to you?" Sano looked away from him.

"Yea, she really is, after the death of Yuka, I felt as if Kaoru was my little Yuka. I just miss her badly." It was rare that Sano called Kaoru by her name instead of Jou-chan. Kenshin's eyes became a soft lavender color.

"So, her name is Kaoru? Don't worry too! She isn't on my list! Besides, if she makes you feel that way, just like Yuka, I promise I won't break her heart."

"I guess, I still haven't told anyone about my Yuka yet. You, Aoshi, and Sou only knew her, with the exception of her friends." Sano had a look of anguish in his eyes. He still mourned over that one girl named Yuka.

"Sano," Kenshin put his right hand on Sano's left arm, "you always know were there for you."

"Thanks, but promise me one thing…"

"What?"

"I get to beat the shit outta you if you do break Jou-chan's heart and you hafta pay me 50 bucks…American money at that."

'Oh shit. It's all worth it though. If I ever get to see her again, that doesn't mean I'm not going to do some moves on her and man! She looked sexy, even in male clothing! She's even different then the other women I've been out with. Ah shit. I think I really am growing soft.'

"Hey Sano, I'll see you tomorrow, im going home. Night!"

"Yea sure, it's not like I'm keeping you from anything, but I gotta admit, I never knew the great all-so mighty cold hearted Battousai, was actually soft."

Kenshin's eyes now became gold. His voice was now cold, "Hn. I'm not and I never will be."

"Riiight. I bet you will be as soft as a kitten after you meet someone just for you."

Kenshin just walked outside and into the night's cool air.

The moon was showing brightly in the dark sky, and the stars were sparkling as if nothing bad would happen. Kaoru sat on a bench, near a park. She had a katana with her, wrapped in a long navy cloth. She was going to train there, where the moon was showing brightly. Somewhere around the park was a tall grassy field, which had enough space for her to train.

Kaoru walked towards that field, looked around to check if anyone was there, and unwrapped the cloth that was around her katana.

She took a stance and stood still for a moment until she was at the other side of the field in a second. Nothing happened for a minute till something green sprinkled around her. The wind there was strong, so it had blew the little green cut grass into the air. Every single grass was cut off and the grassy field looked as if it had been lawn mowed. All the little green grass sprinkled everywhere like sparkling snow, making it another beautiful sight to see…if only it weren't green.

Kaoru just looked around to see her work, and admire the scene of the sprinkling green little grass. It would have looked like it was snowing in the clear starry sky, with the moon showing brightly still. Just as she was about to sheath her sword, she heard someone clap, and went into a defensive stance.

"Little girl, that was pretty entertaining."

"Who are you? What do you want!" Kaoru yelled.

The person chuckled, it sounded deep "I want nothing from you, I was merely watching you. You have talent little girl."

Kaoru growled. "My name is not little girl! Its Kamiya Kaoru!"

"Kaoru? Kao? Is that you?"

"Huh? Do I know you?" the person jumped out of the tree and right in front of Kaoru. Kaoru could now see the man right in front of her. Her eyes became as round as plates.

"Long time no see, ne Kao-baby?"
