"Sano, are you all right?" asked Yahiko from behind. "You're acting weird lately. You're not yelling at me since she died…"

Sano sighed. "None of your business, runt," he said and leaned on the handrail. "Sayo…"

I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER, IT WAS LATE AFTERNOON

Sano remembered the time in Simabara. "Hold on! I won't let you die ever!" he said as he ran carrying Sayo on his back.

IT LASTED FOREVER, IT ENDED SO SOON

He also remembered the time she was shot and died right then and there.

"My real name is Sayo…" she had said.

YOU WERE ALL BY YOURSELF, STARING UP AT THE DARK GRAY SKY

"Sano, nothing's going to happen no matter what. You can't bring her back to life. Shozo was that disappointed to you know," reminded Yahiko.

I WAS CHANGED

Sano looked at Yahiko, holding back his tears. "what do you think I'm doing here?! Trying to bring her back. I'm not as stupid as you are!" he yelled.

Yahiko frowned. "Maybe I'll have to call someone else…" he said and turned around.

IN PLACES NO ONE COULD FIND, ALL YOUR FEELING ARE DEEP INSIDE

"Don't go call anyone, Yahiko!" he yelled.

Yahiko looked at him. "why don't you quit that then?" he asked.

Sano frowned. "Just leave me alone will you?" he asked angrily.

WAS THEN THAT I REALIZED THAT FOREVER WAS IN YOUR EYES

Yahiko went off his way. Sano sighed and leaned on the bridge and looked at the stars above him. To his own surprise, tears came down his cheeks uncontrollably.

He quickly wiped off his tears…

IT WAS LATE IN SEPTEMBER, AND I'VE SEEN YOU BEFORE

"How dare you care about our business?" she had demanded on their first meeting.

Sano grunted. "Be lucky I did."

YOU WERE ALWAYS THE COLD ONE, BUT I WAS NEVER THAT SURE

"Hmph! What an arrogant man!" snapped Sayo to herself.

But then later…

"What do I do now? I've fallen in love with an atheist…" she said at church.

I WANTED TO HOLD YOU, I WANTED TO MAKE IT GO AWAY

Sano woke up from his flashback and found himself still having tears on his eyes.

I WANTED TO KNOW YOU, I WANTED TO MAKE YOUR EVEERYTHING ALL RIGHT

Yahiko looked at him. "Are you all right now?" he asked.

Sano sighed and looked at the sky. He imagined the tars forming Sayo's image. He smiled at Yahiko. "Uh huh, I'm all right," he replied.

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER, IT WAS LATE AFTERNOON…

Sano looked at the clear sky the next day with a smile

Kaoru smiled. "Looking dumb again today. Happy again?" she asked.

Sano nodded. "Hai."

WAS THEN THAT I REALIZED THAT FROEVER WAS IN YOUR EYES

"Why?" asked Yahiko.

"I finally accepted it," replied Sano.
