Prologue
1619 A.D.
"It was a cold dark night. With only the moon and the
burning torches giving off light. Besides the screams
of the last remaining people, the night was silent. My
companions and I had had a delicious feast. I licked my
lips at the remaining traces of blood on my lips. As
we all gathered around I saw movement out of the
corner of my eye. I smiled to think that a human could
possibly think that they could escape me. I walked
slowly to my prey. Slowly with every movement I
stalked her. I knew it was a young girl because of the
smell she was giving off. Virgins were the best meals,
they were so pure and innocent. Then her footsteps
quickened. I dashed for her not wanting to waste a
second to rip open her throat and feast on her
delicious blood. But as I jumped over the trees and
landed just a foot ahead of her. As she backed up from
me and the light of the moon hit her. I saw that she
was beautiful. She had long raven hair, beautiful deep
dark brown eyes, and she was beautifully built. The
Kimono that she wore gave no protection
from eyes to see every curve of her body. I was
mesmerized by her that I didn't hear the voices of my
companions who had joined me. I quickly was brought
out of it by Megumi. They all had the same
thing on there mind. Which was to rip her open and
feed on her blood. But I had another thought now. I
didn't want this beauty, this rare gorgeous human to
die. But one of the vampires that was with our group leapt
on her. I was to late to stop him, but something else
stopped him. A bright light shot from the girls body
and shot right through the vampire, who was burned by
it. As we all stood there shocked we saw this great
aura surround this girl. Growing bigger with ever
second. So big that it we were all overwhelmed by it. I felt
great pain and my body lift from the ground. I must
have been knocked out because I woke up in a cave. All
my wounds were bandaged and cleaned, and I was by
myself. I waited for night fall to look for my
companions. I searched every village and couldn't find
any one of them. I couldn't find the girl either. I
later heard that the young girl sacrificed herself to
kill all of us. But why was I still alive. I searched
endlessly for them but I never found them and I think
that I never will. Maybe this was my punishment to
walk all of eternity alone. As I wander the world
alone, I wonder who that girl was?"
