Rurouni Kenshin Fan Fiction ❯ Gone rr ❯ Meet ( Chapter 2 )
I know that you probably hate this story and wondering why in the world I am updating well because I think the story maybe interesting to people in the future cause well…even I don't really know about the New characters much…but when I introduce a new character in a chapter I will put their bio up on my bio and you can read maybe about their past or something you might not understand about them cause I really don't want to get to into the OC's cause that would ruin the story in my opinion…Plus if there is even a slight romance between an OC it will be with another OC cause well I don't believe in the character/OC pairings cause well they aren't even in that place they are there I guess…. I don't even get what I'm saying ….But tell me if you want to know more and I'll tell you about them and I need a Beta reader cause well I think I suck!

(With Kenshin, Aoshi, and Sano)
A man leaned back in his chair after his friend hung up, "So Kenshin did you see the picture of the Kamiya girl?" "Which Kamiya girl, Sano?" Kenshin asked. "Probably the `dead' one," another man answered. "Yeah, what Aoshi said, that little missy she is pretty for a seventeen year old," Sano sighed. "Enough day dreaming Sano. We have to research something about Kaoru Kamiya and her family," Kenshin commanded.
Sano did a fake salute, "Okay, I'm on it!" Aoshi said nothing and followed Sano out of the room. Kenshin picked up the newspaper that had the Picture of the girl. `If she's this pretty in black and white I wonder what she looks like in color.' Kenshin wondered.
This Time(dun dun dun!!!!!!)
Megumi wrung her hands for the second time. They said they were going to call if they found anything, right? She thought. It had been three days since the meeting with Battousai and his group. Megumi remembered how nervous she was to meet him, the man who picked her up was. Well, he wasn't the Battousai.
(Flashback)
"Mother Father! I'm going on a date today," Megumi informed them. Her mother just looked at a picture a young Kaoru and Misao, and started humming a song she would usually sing to Kaoru when she was little. Megumi sighed I wonder when we will go back to normal? Her mother looked like she had just gotten out of her daze. "What do you need dear?" she asked. "I said I was going on a date this afternoon mother," Megumi said softly (sorry for the OOC but wouldn't you be quiet and stuff if a sibling was thought to have died, I would) "Oh, that's nice, dear" Her mother smiled weakly.
Megumi smiled weakly at her mother also. Back when Kaoru was there her mother would be so happy Megumi was on a date. She would always be jumping around, and sometimes she would pester Kaoru about getting a date. Then Kaoru would usually reply by saying that if she ever dated a guy from school it would be genetically impossible because the guys at school were bastards. Their mother would scold her about using harsh language and she would forget about gushing of Megumi.
I never really got to thank her for that. Megumi thought sadly. "Oh, Megumi, before you get ready for your date maybe you could call that boy and ask him to bring a friend for Misao," Mrs. Kamiya suggested. (Can some one please tell me Kaoru's parents' names? Please!) Megumi smirked, "I'm already a step ahead of you mother." Mrs. Kamiya smiled at her daughter.
(About two hours later)
"You said we were going to meet at a café right?" Misao questioned. Megumi nodded and put on her make-up. "Yes, but I'm wondering if the Battousai himself will show up or one of the men on the phone," Megumi sighed. "I think he was on the phone," Misao giggled. "Why is that?" "Because the third man was quiet and he said that one thing before you could," Misao explained. "Oh, yeah how could I forget?" Megumi chuckled.
Ding, Dong! "Megumi, Misao your dates are here!" They heard Mr. Kamiya call upstairs. Megumi looked at Misao, and Misao looked at Megumi. "Well, shall we?" Misao asked. Megumi nodded her head and they raced down. When they reached the stairs they saw a man who had his hair spiked and it made him look like a rooster, but the second man had black hair and no emotion on his face. Mr. Kamiya looked the two boys over. "I would like to know who's going out with my daughter," Mr. Kamiya said fiercely.
Ever since Kaoru was supposedly killed their father had been meaner to the guys who came by. He remembered what the police told him they had said his baby girl left with a guy. Then she was found dead. Mr. Kamiya thought it was Fujio. He was sure that the hands of a man would never kill Megumi. "I'm Sano and that's Aoshi," the taller guy said. "Daddy stop scaring Misao and my date," Megumi scolded.
Mr. Kamiya looked at his daughter then to the man who spoke. "Honey, I'm sorry but after what happened to Kaoru I," he trailed. Um, what's one of their names? Oh, yeah Sano! Megumi thought frantically. "Sano won't hurt me daddy," Megumi as she walked over to the quiet one. "Um, Meg, that's my date," Misao said quietly. Megumi's eyes widened, "And Aoshi won't hurt Misao either." Nice cover up. Sano thought. "Well, sir we are just going to a café," Sano tried to reassure the father. Mr. Kamiya smirked in a reply, but it wasn't a sneer it was a sad one.
The group of teenagers walked out of the huge mansion. "How come you didn't tell us your father was so protective?" Sano asked. "Well, ever since Kaoru has been gone my parents have been acting strangely," Megumi explained. "They even tried to give me Kaoru's cloths, but they don't fit," Misao complained. "Is the little missy bigger then you? I mean around," Sano questioned. "Oh, no she just a little taller than me and her outfits aren't my taste," Misao replied. "Yeah, Kaoru didn't like guys so she wore all these shirts like the Happy Bunny," Megumi explained. (I don't own Happy Bunny but I do love those shirts) Aoshi and Sano just nodded as they got in their car. "I would sit back. We drive very fast," Aoshi warned. "So, did Kaoru. She made it look like she had a lead foot but she didn't" Misao giggled.
(At the café)
Kenshin sat at a table looking at the picture of Kaoru. "Sir would you like some more coffee?" the waitress asked. Kenshin shook his head no and went back to reading more of Kaoru's creative writing works. (I decided to make Kaoru a little like me so when she writes poems they are usually a little dark and they don't rhyme)
I am an Angel without wings
My eyes do not sparkle or shine
And my halo is bent and broken
I am an angel without wings
Cursed to forever be on the ground
Walk the land as a demon
My powers were plucked from me
I am an angel without wings
But do not cry I will go one
I will be in your memory
(Yes that was by me and It was at first shorter than that it only had three lines so the other lines I wrote off the top of my head)
Either she's very dark or she writes darkly. Kenshin mused. He surveyed his surroundings again to make sure his lunch dates weren't already here, but they had just walked in the café. His two friends lead two women towards the table. The older one must be Kaoru's sister and the younger one her best friend. Kenshin thought. "Hey Kenshin!" Sano greeted as he sat down.
"Hello Sano, Aoshi," Kenshin welcomed. "So are you the Battousai!" The younger girl chirped. "Yes, I am but I would like you to call me Kenshin rather than Battousai, miss," Kenshin smiled. "I'm Misao and that's Megumi," Misao pointed out. "Nice to meet you," Kenshin said. Megumi nodded her head. "So why do you need us?" she asked. "We need to know the inside things about Kaoru that school papers and pictures won't cover," Aoshi said icily. "Okay what are the questions?" Misao asked.
"Why aren't there many pictures of your sister?" Sano asked. "She hated getting her picture taken and the only time she actually had one beauty picture done was when mother made her for her senior picture," Megumi explained. Kenshin looked at her face then asked the next question, "Did your sister always write dark or semi-dark poems?" "What poems?" Misao asked. Kenshin pushed the piled of poems toward her, "These."
Misao looked them over. "Wow, I didn't know Kaoru wrote like this. She usually wrote ones about how she saw relationships between people at school," Misao said amazed. Kenshin looked at the one that Misao was reading. So she's reading the one that sounds like a suicide poem. Kenshin smirked.
I cry tears of blood
But they still laugh
I try to get away
But their presence keeps me
How did I get stuck here?
Can no one here my screams of anguish?
Why can't they see?
I cry tears of blood
But they still laugh
(Funny thing behind this poem was I was in a really, really happy mood when I wrote this)
"Do you think she was contemplating suicide?" Misao asked as she handed the poem to Megumi and Sano. "No, I think it was just what she wanted to write," Kenshin guessed. After everyone read the poem Sano asked, "Was she ever suicidal?" "No, she was always writing things, drawing, and practicing for sports that she never really got teased or any thing," Megumi heaved a sigh. "Thank you Megumi," Sano began. "We'll contact you when we find something," Aoshi said impassively. Megumi nodded then she and Misao left the café.
(End of Flashback)
Megumi looked at the phone again. "They'll call," she murmured. She stole another look at the phone when it rang. "Hello?" "Megumi we`ve found something! Meet us at the café," Sano's voice said excitably. Megumi said a rushed okay and belted out the door. She dialed Misao's cell phone. "Hello?" a drowsy voice asked. "Misao it's me Megumi! Meet me and the guys at the café!" Megumi almost yelled into the phone. "Okay I'll be there!" Misao said.
The girls arrived at the café and spotted the guys. "What happened?" Megumi asked. "Well Kenshin…"
A cliffy! Yeah! So what do you think? Please review! Well bye!
