Author's Notes: This story may stink, but oh well, I'm in such a good mood I felt like writing this. How do you like the font? Okay enough talk, now read! PLEASE REVIEW!

`Oh my gosh, what time is it?' Kaoru sat up and rubbed her head. `Maybe I'll check outside?'

She slowly got up and changed out of her yukata and into her training clothes, which consists of a white gi and a navy blue hakama.

`Might as well get some training done today.' She opened up her shoji and walked out of her room. She closed her shoji and started walking down the hall towards the dojo. `It's so dark out, maybe it is 3am or something?'

Swish.

“What the heck?” She swirled around, and checked all her surroundings. “What just happened here?”

`Maybe I should check out Kenshin and Yahiko's rooms? Yeah that's a good idea! What if there is a burglar here?' She immediately checked Yahiko's room first.

She found the young Tokyo Samurai asleep. Now there was one other samurai to check.

She walked to Kenshin's room and tried to hear if there was any movement. No sound.

`He probably doesn't snore or move a lot when he is asleep, I hope he's okay.'

She opened up Kenshin's room and found his futon already folded up.

“Kaoru.” something whispered.

Kaoru turned around and gasped.

Author's Notes: Okay, okay, I know you probably hate me for ending it there, but it was supposed to leave you in suspense. My first time writing a fanfic with a cliffhanger ending, well you probably already know who said Kaoru's name? If you don't its okay! NOW REVIEW!
