Missing

Another two months passed by slowly.Kioru turned 9 years old,and Kenji turned 6 years of age.Kioru was wielding a sword better than Yahiko was and had a close strength of Sanosake a few years back and had his father's god like speed.Kenji took lightly to training and learned his mother's style of fighting,Kamiya Kasshin Style.Kioru was much like his father,so he trained himself in the art of the Heiten Miserougi Style.Megume gave birth to her second child.

Her first child was of Kioru's age and spent alot of her time with Dr. Gensai.Her name was Rika Ryouna Sagara,and the child who was only one month old was named Sano Zanza Sagara,San for short.Tsubame also gave birth to her first child,which happened to be a girl that Yahiko named Lily Tae Myoujin.But Kenshin still hasn't returned to the love of his friends and family,so they miss him more.

On this day,Kioru trained with his sword and played with his little brother.Rika was watching as she held her little brother Sano in one arm and Lily in the other.Sanosake and Megume were inside talking to Kaoru,Yahiko,and Tsubame.Today Misao and Aoshi were supposed to visit them.Infront of the dojo,Kioru showed off.

Kenji laughed and watched as his brother showed off his speed and his agility.Suddenly,someone caught Kioru in mid-air. Kioru turned around and held his sword ready,it was then he noticed the faces that greeted him.Aoshi Shinomori,Misao Shinomori,and their daughter about Kenji's age named Yuki Oshi Shinomori.

"Uncle Aoshi!"Kioru yelled as he dropped his sword and hugged him."Aunt Misao!"Exclaimed Kenji as he ran over to greet Misao.Soon the boys exchanged who they were hugging,but they both hugged Yuki at the same time.Aoshi smiled as the two boys looked up at him."And its nice to see you two.Where's your mother?" "She's inside talking to Uncle Sano,Aunt Megu,Uncle Yahi,and Aunt Tsu."

Kioru said as he picked up his sword and sheathed it. "So,lets go see her,shall we?"Kioru and the other kids nodded as they walked in behind Aoshi and Misao.Kaoru looked up when she heard the door slide open."Aoshi?!Misao?!"She said surprised.It had been 6 years since they had last came to visit."Yeah,its us."Misao said.

Yuki came walking up from behind them with the other kids."Is that your kid Aoshi?"Sanosake asked. "Yes,this is her,Yuki Oshi Shinomori."Aoshi replied with a proud smile."The last time we saw her she was just a baby."Yahiko stated with curiousity. "How old is she Misao?" "She's Kenji's age."Kenji nodded happily.

"Yep,Yuki is my age!"Kaoru smiled and laughed. 'Where are you Kenshin?'She thought as she laughed.He had been gone for 8 months now,and no letters had came.Suddenly someone knocked on the door of the dojo."Yes,who is it?"Kaoru yelled/asked."I have a letter for Kaoru Himura?"Kaoru got up and opened up the door.

"I'm her."Kaoru said when she seen the man.He handed her the letter and said,"Hope it brings good news about Mr. Himura." "I do too."Kaoru whispered as the man ran off.Kaoru walked over to the table and sat down.Sanosake looked over at her and said, "Who is it from?" "The General.."She whispered as she opened it.

She looked at the letter and read it aloud:"Dear Mrs. Himura-We are happy to inform you that Mr. Himura Kenshin has completed his mission and will be arriving the day after this letter.He, however,has been wounded and the illness has become worse.He will be on no more missions until he is better.From-General Hajime Saito."

Kaoru put the letter down."So,Kenshin will be back tomorrow."Sanosake said as he looked over the letter."Poor Kenshin, why do they always make him fight?"Yahiko asked."Because Sir Ken in the best."Megume said looking at the others.Aoshi looked at the letter then said,"I just got back from the same misson they sent Himura on.I wonder why he is late getting back?"He said aloud.

"What kind of mission was it Aoshi?"Yahiko asked. "We had to fight a group of assasins.Kenshin was the leader,he was even above Saito,but I wonder why he is so late getting back.The mission ended a week ago."Aoshi said to Yahiko and the others.

Just then,Kenji and Kioru came from their room followed by the other kids."Mama?"Kenji asked as he walked over to her."What Kenji?" "Who was at the door?" "A man,he brought a letter about your father?" "What did it say?"Kioru asked,taking this as a chance to interfere with the conversation."He will be back tomorrow."Kioru looked at the ground then said,"I'm going to go see Tae and Rasc at the Akabeko."He stated as he ran out of the dojo.

"What was that about?"Aoshi and Misao asked, apparently confused."He doesn't care much for his father?" "Why not?The kid looks just like him and he is learning his father's style of swordsmanship and he has every feature his father has,that is,except for the 'x' shape cross on his left cheek."Misao said surprised."He doesn't care for his father because he thinks Kenshin makes Kaoru sad instead of happy."Sansake said as he looked out of the open door and seen Kioru grab his sword as he ran off.
