Summary: So this is another songfic about how Kaoru felt when Kenshin rejected her. And this is the song she sang following Kenshin. No flames please! -begs-

 

Perfect World

 

“Kenshin… please, no” Kaoru stood crying. Confessing her love for Kenshin wasn't going according to plan for her.

 

“Kaoru. Seesha is a Rurouni that he is.” Kenshin said getting up.

 

“That can't be. Please Kenshin. I love you!” Kaoru yelled at him.

 

Kenshin did nothing except walk out the dojo.

 

Kaoru felt this urge to be strong. Too sing out her feelings about how she felt. She opened her mouth and started to sing:

 

“I never could've seen this far
I never could've seen this coming
Seems like my world's falling apart”

 

Kenshin kept his head down, and walked out the gate, as Kaoru followed continuing to sing.

 

“Yeah

Why is everything so hard
I don't think I can deal with the things you said
It just won't go away

Kenshin walked a bit faster, Kaoru kept up. Not letting Kenshin bring her down. She walked behind him, standing tall, her eyes felt with hurt.

I think I need a miracle to make it through

Kenshin kept his head low, walking a bit faster. A bit like power walking. Kaoru kept her distance, but kept at a speed she would stay behind him, and he would hear every word.

Kenshin started to jog, and Kaoru jogged at the same distance. Not caring what he would do. As long as he got her message.

Kenshin ran, ran away, as soon as Kaoru finished. He ran with his head down. And the last words he heard from Kaoru were, “Nothing at all.”

 

A/n: Whew, that was hard work. I think they both were a bit OOC. I am not sure. Please, no flames. I am listening to Simple Plan's `Perfect World' and that's how I came up with this thing. So yeah. Please review. And thank you!
