This is just a romance/angst/dramatic poem I had the notion to write
while in Psychology class. K/K pairing, and some fluff.

Reflection of the Soul
A quiet, babbling brook passes by,
I walk silently along it,
The gentle wind twisting and turning my hair,
Calmness takes over my senses,
Leaves dance on the wind,
Disappearing forever when the breeze dies,
Serenity is the haven I have found.
My soul is at ease for the first time,
She has calmed my tortured soul,
All my sins are still with me,
But she has quieted their screams,
Her sapphire eyes look into mine,
Violet mirrors lit within them,
Her gaze is imprisoned in mine.
I don't deserve her concern or kindness,
Yet her love has filled my heart with passion,
Does she know how my heart leaps for her?
How I love her to whatever end may come,
I want to be with her for all eternity,
My heart is in the palm of her hand,
Yet she does not crush it, but cherishes it.
Her heart and mine are one,
Two hearts beat together to a steady rhythm,
Our breathing becomes shallow as we draw near,
So close and yet this is what I want,
I yearn for her, all aspects, body, mind, and soul,
How can I conceive to recognize this as love?
Love was once but a fairytale.
A fairytale, a fairytale is what love is.
A fantasy dream based in reality of pure lust,
That was once the basis of love, only of body not of heart,
I know that lust is not the only thing I feel.
My senses are attuned to her every movement,
My mind races with thoughts pertaining only to her,
My heart beats faster whenever she draws near.
A heart so pure, should not be corrupted,
Nor should it be covered in sin like mine,
My sins must not touch her or stain her purity,
It is something I would never want her to bear,
I want to keep her safe from the demons,
The ones living inside of me and my surroundings,
To keep all that is precious, is what she truly is to me.
My love for her is reflected upon my soul.
And she is entirely in my heart,
As I am contained within hers,
The wind dies down; a form appears before me,
Her gentle smile lights up her face,
Her loving presence surrounds me as it gets closer,
I know that I am safe and protected,
For I am wrapped into her warm embrace.
I hope you enjoyed it, please review.
