Chapter 6: She is mine

"Our training starts tomorrow. Get the rest you need." Kenshin sat by the stream as he placed a hand over his injury. He cupped a handful of water and drenched his face with it. Tomorrow was going to be a tough day.

"Kaoru..."

Determination flashed through his amber hues. He was going to be stronger.

Aisuru hito wo mamoru tame ni... tsuyoku naru.

He was going to be stronger for her.

"Where are you aiming, little puppy?" Siva smirked as she jumped gracefully to the tree branch avoiding Kenshin's attack. He gave a growled and followed her swiftly through the woods. Siva had the most rapid agility and flexibility in any demon he had fought with. He wondered how she actually died?

He stopped at the entrance of the opening. He scanned the area slowly as he concentrated on his sense of hearing to find where was Siva. Finally he smiled, this was getting too easy.

All of sudden, Kenshin leaped from his current position to the air as he landed beautifully behind Siva who was taken by surprise. She immediately crouched into a stance as her fingernails glowed. Without much hesitation she brought her left claw to Kenshin's neck but was stopped effortlessly by Kenshin arm. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her forward as he threw her to the ground over his shoulder.

Siva managed to recover as she flipped in midair breaking her fall as she landed perfectly while the sand and dust surrounded them making a yellow mist.

With no warnings, Kenshin charged forward with his claws extended, confident that it would scratch Siva. However, his claws met nothing.

"You still have more to learn, young one." Kenshin twirled behind only to get rammed in the ribs, instead of wincing in pain he smirked. Siva widened her eyes in shocked as Kenshin gripped Siva's hand tightly not enabling her to escape from him anymore. He jabbed his hard fist into her abdomen as air was knocked out of her. Kenshin jumped swiftly away as she knelt and held her stomach, gasping for air.

"I take back my words about you learning more." Siva laughed as she sat on the ground panting. Kenshin did the same as he leaned on a nearby tree.

"I'm impressed little one. You made vast improvements over the past two months. I can hardly keep distance between us." Siva complimented as she stood up and walked towards him. She placed a comforting hand on his shoulder while Kenshin just nodded in acknowledgment and walked away.

"Not only did you improve in skill... but you are getting colder each second." Siva whispered to herself. Little did she know that those words sank into Kenshin's sharp ears.

'How can I not get colder when Kaoru isn't here to warm me up.' Kenshin thought silently as he walked through the woods. Siva could sense that what had happened to Kenshin was partly because of Kaoru not being by his side.

Siva smiled. Maybe she would give him a nice surprise tonight. A wonderful, sumptuous surprise.

A snapped of a finger sounded as one of the demons came out from the shadows and bowed at their new leader.

"You called? Renzou-sama." The fox demon asked as he raised his head to look at his leader. Renzou just smiled and pointed towards his left. The kitsune turned and followed his direction. At the far end of the clearing, there was a cave. That territory belongs to the well-known Battousai-sama. Then he saw a lady clad in orange who had a black slim tail wrapped around her.

His eyes widen in recognition.

All of a sudden, she turned around and those deadly orange hues burned into his eyes. The fox immediately stood up in a swift movement.

"Siva-sama!" Renzou just laughed sinisterly as he snapped his fingers.

"Yes, kitsune. It definitely is our Siva-sama. My Siva-sama and my little koneko."

Siva scanned through the deep forest. She could feel that there was someone staring at their direction. She cursed under her breath and walked into the cave after Kenshin. They are coming soon. She glanced at the lone person in front of her and smiled in triumph. Kenshin wasn't as weak as he was in the past. He had already surpassed her if she was to comment. All Kenshin needed now was confidence.

Kenshin turned to find Siva with her thoughts. He opened his mouth to ask what happened but decided against it. Maybe she had felt it too, that there was someone out there watching their movements. He turned away and walked into the kitchen. It was his turn to prepare food for tonight.

Siva placed Kaoru's kodachi down and sat against the wall. She eyed at the large boomerang opposite her. Hiraikotsu. She felt a sudden urge to try it out so she reached out to touch the smooth wood and trailed it up to the rough handle.

"I'll be outside if you need me." Siva spoke as she took the hiraikotsu out with her. Kenshin looked at the disappearing form and nodded. He dried his hands and followed her quite a distance away to see what she was up to.

Siva stood in the middle and closed her eyes. The gentle wind blew at her face and carried her silky strands away from her face. It all happened in a swift moment as she crouched down and flung the huge weapon into the air. It cut the air and hovered back easily. Siva snapped open her eyes and caught her weapon easily as she skidded back due to the force.

She was already panting.

Just how the hell that this human girl made it so easily done? Siva had remembered Kaoru reckless throwing and she was still standing never out of breath. Strange.

Siva decided to have another go. This time she threw it vertically as it soared in the sky, and came back to her.

Unexpectedly, Siva felt her body became rigid and heavy. She could see with wide eyes that the Hiraikotsu was getting closer and closer with each second. If she didn't catch it in time she was going to be like the rocks, splitting into half.

'Siva-san!'

Siva widened her eyes as she heard the familiar voice in her spoke. It was Kaoru.

'Siva-san!! Let me out! The spell that has been cast on you are for demons, full-blooded demons.'

'Such spell would never not bound me.' Siva spoke strongly, unable to believe that she could be in such situation. She tried to move her hands but it was to no prevail.

'Siva-san! There isn't much time! Please! You have got to believe me!' Kaoru's voice pleading for an understanding from Siva.

'Kaoru! You are not prepared! Your powers-"

'I don't care! Siva-san, the most important thing now is to be able to survive... to live on. It doesn't matter. There is always time. Now, I have to save the both of us! Please, Siva-san!'

Siva clenched her fist as she closed her eyes.

'Until tomorrow, little one. Renzou is out there, waiting for a chance to attack and capture you and me.'

"Siva!" Kenshin saw what happened and quickly ran out of the cave trying to save his teacher, friend, his Kaoru.

An orange light bathed Siva and exploded as it blinded Kenshin for a second. He shielded his eyes from the rays of light.

"No..." Kenshin gazed at the sand filled area and whispered unbelievingly.

Siva couldn't have survived that hit. He dashed to where Siva had just stood moments ago, only to be greeted with a smiling lady who ran to hug him.

"Kaoru?" Kenshin asked confusingly as he pulled away from the figure and stared at her body. Siva's ears were still on top of her head - sharp cat like ears. There was still a black tail behind her, which was sleeping on the floor. But... something was different now. Her eyes... are blue.

He crushed her body to his as he hugged her like there was no tomorrow. Whispering strings of loving words and touching sentences sunk into Kaoru's delicate ears as they hugged each other for eternal. Both were oblivious to everything around them as their lips locked in a passionate kiss that they have craved.

Little did they know, a big storm was coming to separate the couple and this time getting back together once again in each other's embrace would be never possible again.

"Perfect! Everything is going as planned!" An evil laughter reverberated through the silent woods.

The throngs of different youkais kneeled on the floor and giving him their utmosts respect.

"Prepare for the ceremony. We got a auspicious time to catch." Renzou smirked as the groups of demons roared in agreement. Soon, he dismissed them as he continue starting at the crescent-moon.

"We will be together again. The chosen one shall be sacrificed for our sake." He smiled to the misty sky and closed his eyes.

Kaoru stirred in her sleep as Kenshin swept some midnight strands from her forehead. She looked so peaceful that he didn't want to wake her up for his own selfish desires. It was just not right to. He snuggled closer to her and smelled the scent he missed so long.

Jasmine.

Immediately, his raging senses calmed down at the serene scent. He wriggled his nose at the familiar scent. How he missed it. Unconsciously, he tightened his hold. Their tails entangled together, hair mixed as one.

Blue and red.

"Kenshin." Kaoru whimpered as she struggled in his hold. She shrank in the embrace as if in pain. Worried, Kenshin quickly lightened his lock and stroke her hair trying to calm her down.

"Don't worry, I'm here." Kenshin kissed his forehead, as if in cue, her eyes opened tiredly. Kenshin kissed her eyes next, nose, cheeks and finally the sumptuous lips. She shivered and cracked open an eye. Instantly, she molded herself to Kenshin's hard body.

"Kenshin... Kenshin..." Kaoru called out unsure, hoping it wasn't just a dream. It was so real.

"I love you... I love you so much!" Kaoru kept repeating them again and again. Word after word. Sending her love to her one and only. Kenshin didn't know what to do - why was Kaoru so uneasy?

"Koishii... are you okay?" Kenshin asked worriedly as he pushed her chin up and he immediately saw those blue eyes smeared with tears. Instantaneously, he brought his body up using his elbow and trapped Kaoru under him.

He licked her tear-streaked face, and whine softly like a little puppy craving for attention. Kaoru blinked her tears away and smiled shyly at that position. He just smirked at her and licked open her full lips as they kissed.

Kaoru's arms snaked around Kenshin's neck, as the kiss deepened. She moaned and held onto Kenshin very firmly. Not wanting to let go ever. After tonight, she must leave inside of her body and allow Siva to take over.

How she wished that she could be with him for an eternity.

Kenshin placed his hands on her cheeks after the passionate kiss. He knew that there was something wrong with Kaoru. She was hiding something. He was sure. Kaoru opened her hazy eyes wanting to know why he stopped his erotic actions.

Kaoru pulled his head down for another kiss, as her hands playfully tugged on his gi, wanting it off his muscular body.

"Kaoru... wait.." Kenshin groaned as she grinded on his already hard member.

"But I want you now." Kaoru whined as she kissed his neck slowly. Kenshin moaned as her fingernails traced circles behind his back. His restrain finally broke as his amber eyes shone brightly with the lust he hid within himself.

Without hesitation, his claws brought her hands above her head, and his tail wrapped her petite body bringing her closer to him. Kaoru could feel his hot breath on her sensitive ears as he breathed out the words she was waiting for huskily...

"Then, it is me you shall have."

First, I know that I'm getting real bad at updating my fics =( I apologize greatly. I hardly have the time to even touch my fic nowadays. I'm erally sorry. But i'll ty my very best to update my fics ^^ I really hope you guys like this chappie though there's no lemon in this chappie.
