Hey RK fans I took a break from Bound for a while, since I want to make much of chapter 3. But I will get back to it. In the mean time I wrote this K/K fic to get it out of my mind. I was thinking on doing a K/K fic sometime, but I guess my muse had had enough and beat me over the head with some hefty surge of inspiration. So now on to the fic!

Kenshin finally has had enough of being just a friend to Kaoru. He wants something more! Will she let him though? Lemony goodness is involved!!!

(Kenshin's POV)

Sheer Bliss

Every day is the same for me. I get up make breakfast, do the laundry, and prepare Kaoru's bath, along with the rest of the chores. Kaoru tells me I don't have to, but it makes me feel content when I do them. Kaoru is a vision of determination and dedication to her students. A vision of perfection to me, though she would never know. As I sit here washing one of her kimonos with care I can't stop but to wonder, what it would be like to really be with her.

Kaoru, I love her name, but a name is nothing without knowing the image of the person. She is indescribable sometimes, and she takes my breath away. She probably doesn't even realize what she does to me. Although the rurouni smile I have perfected over the years hardly allows anything to show through except kindness. Every time I smile at her the grin plastered on my face is genuine.

She walks towards me in her new jade colored kimono. A light turquoise obi wrapped around her waist accented her feminine features. I send a smile her way and she returns it.

"Kenshin you really don't have to do that, I am perfectly capable of washing my own kimonos. You work to hard Kenshin. Why don't you take a break?" She is standing right next to me; her presence soothes my soul whenever she does this. I have to smile at what she just said. Her concern for me is evident, but I wish she felt more.

"Miss Kaoru, I will take a break once I am done, that I will. I enjoy doing the laundry for you. So don't worry." I reply to her gently. She nods her head and slowly turns to leave but then stops. She glances in my direction again and smiles.

"Thank you for doing the laundry, Kenshin." She says softly then walks off at a quicker pace.

I am baffled by her actions as to why she did this. Or am just hoping that maybe she does feel something towards me. I shake my head to get a clear mind again. I just can't get her image out of my head as I turn back to the laundry.

I hear footsteps approaching along with a whistling sound. It has to be Sano, since it's close to lunchtime. He's always bumming a meal when I'm cooking, since he says he can't stomach Miss Kaoru's cooking. I smirk at this. Her cooking ability is rather poor, but I still enjoy it since she's the one who made it with her own two hands. She tries her best to make a meal look and taste good. Unfortunately what she makes usually looks good until you taste it.

"Hey Kenshin. Little missy making you do laundry again?" He cracks a grin my way and cocks his head to the side observing me.

"No Sano, Miss Kaoru isn't making me do anything. I like doing the laundry for Miss Kaoru. You should help out around here as well, that you should."

"Yeah, really Sanosuke! With all the food you eat on us you should at least have to do something!" Yahiko decided to join us at that moment. Stating the obvious to Sano, though he didn't look a bit shocked or inspired by what we said.

"So what's for lunch?"

Yahiko started to fume and jumped on Sano starting to bite his head. The sight they made was rather amusing. Their usual bickering had begun already.

"Ow! Hey quit biting me you brat!" Sano said while trying to pry Yahiko off him. With little result as Yahiko had a firm grip on Sano. I swear once that boy was mad or determined nothing would stop him.

I knew I had to intervene. "Now, now, Yahiko could you start washing the rice for me? I must finish the rest of the laundry and then start making lunch."

Yahiko complied with my wishes and released Sano. He made his way to the kitchen in a hurry since now that Sano was released he was sure to come after him.

"Yeah, you better run little Yahiko!" Sano started.

"Hey Rooster-head, don't call me little!" I heard Yahiko yell at him. I shook my head as I draped the now clean kimono on the clothesline and walked towards the bathhouse. I still needed to wash the towels yet and then had to start making something to eat. Maybe I could make some tofu and rice balls with some sliced vegetables. That sounded good to me. Although maybe the others wanted to have something different, I still was pondering over what to make as I reached the bathhouse.

As I opened the door I saw a beautiful sight. Kaoru was standing there washing herself in order to take a bath. The soap bar was gliding across her skin forming tiny soapsuds on her stomach as she worked up a lather. She then turned to me and screamed. I saw her beautiful female features when she turned around to face me, right before I saw the soap heading towards my face.

"KENSHIN! YOU PERVERT! GET OUT!!!" She screamed as the bar of soap hit me square in the forehead. I'm not sure what dazed me first, the sight of her completely void of any article of clothing. Or the hard soapy projectile that flew my way.

I shut my eyes as she still filled my sight even as I lay dazed on the ground. I saw her quick moments as she rushed to put a towel on before I had shut my eyes. Such beautiful skin, I caught myself thinking. Too bad that she never reveals too much of it, she really should. Her skin was smooth and a cream color, it looked very enticing, as if it yearned to be touched. What are you thinking Himura!?! That's no way to think of Miss Kaoru, you pervert! No wonder she doesn't want to be with you. If she knew what you were thinking write now, she would probably kick you out for good. A few moments past and I slowly cracked my eyelids open. She must have had a towel on by now. I looked at her form again. She had a towel wrapped tightly around her and clutching it to her chest.

"Kenshin! What do you think you're doing walking in on me like that?!" She was blushing furiously. All of her flesh that was revealed had turned a bright pink. Her body trembled with anger and embarrassment as I got up and closed the door that was still open. She was surprised by my actions I noticed. She had expected me to leave and instead I had entered upon her privacy, with her in this very tempting state.

She took a step back, seemingly afraid that I might try to do something to her while she was this vulnerable. I looked at her a moment before I turned my head away from her while I still could. My heart was racing and my breathing had become uneven. If only that towel was slightly lower. STOP THINKING LIKE THAT YOU PERVERT! I mental slapped myself to clear my head. Then closed my eyes as I began to explain myself before she could find anything else to throw at me.

"Miss Kaoru, I'm truly sorry, that I am. I had no idea you would be in here. I just came in for the towels that I did. I will leave now. Again I apologize for walking in on you." She was silent and didn't respond to my apology. Not that I gave her much time to speak anyway.

I turned to leave scooping up the towels in my arms and headed out the door. I opened and closed it with my foot. As I stepped into the yard, I felt a presence before me. Sano.

Sano gave me a big wide grin, his eyes showing amusement at my plight.

"Walked in on Missy didn't ya?" I quickly walked past him and deposited the towels in the washtub.

"So, how did she look? She was probably very tempting, huh Kenshin? I thought you would have just pulled that towel right off of her when that door closed. Maybe you guys would have actually taken advantage of the situation and fulfilled your needs by banging' each other until you both."

"SANO!" I couldn't believe he would suggest that I would `take' Miss Kaoru like that. As tempting as the sight of her was, I couldn't do that to her! I had no right to. We weren't married and she didn't seem interested in me THAT WAY!

I began washing a towel, focusing on the job at hand wasn't easy, as Sano just wouldn't shut up about Miss Kaoru. A part me was listening to him, agreeing that I did want Miss Kaoru but we were just friends, nothing more. Although I wished we were. Oh, how I did wish it sometimes.

"I just don't understand you two. You both care for one another and yet you both are afraid to express your feelings. Everyone can see how you two look at each other. You would have to be blind or a complete idiot not to! I mean jeez Kenshin why don't you just tell her already? What are you afraid of?"

Sano's words held truth to them. The only problem is that I didn't know if Miss Kaoru felt the same way. I knew she cared deeply for me but did she actually want me as her lover. If so then I would taste every part there was to her. Caress every inch of her soft, smooth flesh that I had just observed. Have her warm body close to mine, and show her that ancient dance of love our bodies could do as we made love to one another. Having both our needs satisfied.

"Hello earth to Kenshin! What are you thinking about with that dreamy look on your face? I bet you're daydreaming about Kaoru, right? How you're going to take her once I leave with the brat. Hmm, maybe I could take him on a fishing trip for a few days? That should give you two enough time to sort out your feelings. Maybe you could even bang several times before we got back?" I started to blush at that moment by being caught in my thoughts. Sano's suggestion might actually work out. If Yahiko was away then there would be no interruptions and Kaoru and I would be left by ourselves.

"I don't know what to say Sano, that I don't."

"Just say yes or no Kenshin. I'll take the kid after lunch, once I tell him that we're leaving to fish and camp out in the realm of Mother Nature. Live by her ways for a while. That should be fun. I'll give you four days to get Missy to be yours. I think that should be long enough. So what's it gonna be?"

"Yes Sano and thank you." I replied agreeing with him. Half of me couldn't believe that I actually agreed, while the other half was plotting away at how I could entice Miss Kaoru into my bed.

"Okay. Now that it's settled, I'll go tell the kid and get him ready to leave after lunch. You better get a move on Kenshin. You aren't getting any younger you know?"

With that said Sano left to tell Yahiko where they were heading. I turned back to the laundry and then hung them up to dry in the sun. I heard Yahiko's shouts of joy coming from the dojo as Sano told him. This was going to be an interesting four days, I thought as I headed to the kitchen as the plan had begun.
