TYDYE girl: Thanks so much for being my first reviewer. I will get the next part out as soon as I can I have three other stories I need to work on too. Especially my other Kenshin one as my Internet friends on the Kaoru and Battousai group are waiting patiently for it.

Bob-san: Well thanks for the names, but I wish to use my own. I know Yahiko is usually her younger brother, but I don't care. I am not trying to be mean, but I wish not to do what people usually do. This story is my creation, besides the characters, and I am allowed to do what I want, not what is expected of me. Please do not take this the wrong way but I hate when my stories are compared like that, I also would like to point out that the brother in this is older, so it would seem that Yahiko would be unable to be it. Also if I wanted her parents name to be known I would have put their names in there. I don't wish for them to be known right now. I am so sorry to say this, but my stupid bluntness comes out and I state my mind. Please do not take this the wrong way I am not angry just pointing stuff out.

"Kenshin Himura," The young man replied.

"Okay, Kenshin, could you point the boy out that knocked her in the street?" She asked off handedly as she examined Kaoru.

"Probably," Kenshin stated as he slowly stood. Miss Takani looked at him, and her eyes widened. Kenshin noticed this, as he tried to relax. "What?" He questioned as he folded his arms across his chest.

"Your demeanor is that of a swordsman," she stated as she stood her full height. "Allow me to examine your ankle. Kenshin's gaze turned angry as he again tried to open the door. "It won't open unless I open it," Miss Takani stated as she resumed cleaning Kaoru's knees. That instant Kaoru awoke to pain shooting through her.

"OW, STOP!" Kaoru sat up and pushed the doctors hands away. "Can't you be gentle at least?" Kaoru spat as she tried to get the cloth from the doctor. The doctor pulled back and stood.

"You can clean your own wounds, with that much spirit. Let me know when you have finished." The doctor walked to the door, and opened it, only to leave and shut it before Kenshin could leave.

Kenshin growled as stared at the door. A hiss brought him from his anger, as he looked at the girl. `She can't clean her wounds, no matter what miss Takani says.' Kenshin thought as he wandered over to the girl. `How much of that conversation did she hear?'

"Oh fine they can stay this way," Kaoru huffed as she threw the damp cloth on the floor. Kenshin retrieved and bent down next to the bed she was on. He placed the cloth in the bowl of luke-warm water and soap. He rung the cloth out and lifted his eyes to meet Kaoru's. She stared at him, and then lied down, "It hurts beyond belief," She stated trying to start a conversation.

"Mmm," Was Kenshin's response? Kaoru huffed as she turned her head to look at his face. His eyes confused her, a mixture of gold swirled in the violet depths.

`Usually that means anger,' She thought as he placed the cloth on her knees. She hissed, but did not stop him. His ministrations were gentler than the doctors or hers had been. She also knew that her wounds had to be cleaned.

Kenshin finished cleaning the wounds the best her could. `She will have to get the rest of the dirt out later.' He placed the cloth in the water, and watched as it turned a light shade of red. He rung the cloth out once more and captured her wrist in his hand, and turned her palm face up. He placed the cloth on her scrapes. She made no move to pull away or that it hurt. He looked at her hand as he cleaned the spot; her hand had some calluses on them. He could not figure out what from, but even with them her hands felt as soft as silk. He shook the though from his mind as he finished and repeated the gesture with her other hand. He finished and placed the cloth back into the bowl. He stood and walked to the door. He took a deep breath.

"Her wounds have been cleansed," Kenshin called through the door. The door opened with a WAK. He stepped to the side as the doctor sauntered over to the girl. He stepped a foot closer to the exit and the door shut once again. He growled and whirled around. "When will you let me out of this room.

"As soon as you decide to divulge some information on your stance," She smiled wickedly.

"Why is that any importance, you area school nurse." Kenshin stated aggravated.

Well you don't see many stances like yours, also your ankle needs to be looked at." She stated as she sat on her knees to inspect the wounds. "These are not too deep miss, but I am afraid you might not be able to walk for a couple days."

"Kaoru had fallen into a bliss as the young man cleansed her wounds. It hurt but he was so gentle. She felt him move away and listened to his voice. She heard the conversation and was about to remind them of why they were here when the doctor spoke "These are not too deep miss, but I am afraid you might not be able to walk for a couple of days."

Kaoru opened her eyes, and glared at the women. "I can walk if I want, I can handle pain." Kaoru slowly sat up, expecting to be pushed back down, but found she was being ignored. The other two people in the room were staring at each other. "Mind if I leave so you can have your privacy," Kaoru bitterly stated. `I hate being ignored,' She thought as she stood. She grimaced from the pain and almost fell, but she stayed standing and took a step, this time to fall on her left knee. "AHHHHHH," She screamed.

Arms instantly lifted her into them. She found herself being carried by the young man once more. He had picked her up and made no move to put her back on he tiny bed.

Kaoru watched as the Kenshin held her. "Are you going t put me down?"

"Kenshin looked at her and walked back to the bed and laid her down. "I wouldn't try to move, your wounds are deeper than they look." Kenshin said, as his face was an inch from hers.

Instantly Kaoru's face blushed and she pulled away. "Al...right," She stuttered. She sat up and looked at the doctor then at Kenshin. They were staring coldly at one another.

"Miss Takani?" Kenshin asked.

She huffed and waked to the door. She opened it and Kenshin walked out of it.

"Wait," Kaoru called. Kenshin stopped outside the door and looked back. "Can you tell me your name please?" She smiled at him. He blinked and then turned to face her.

"Yes," Kenshin bowed. "Its Himura, Kenshin, you may call me Kenshin. I hope to see you around later. He stood up and looked into her eyes. He was shocked at the depth of color that stood in the. `A deep rich sea blue,' He thought as he caught himself, staring. He smiled warmly at her and then limped down the hall, with Miss Takani behind him.

"You really need your foot looked at," Miss Takani complained as she followed him to the waiting area.

"Please leave me be, I can take care of myself." Kenshin stated a little angry.

"No I don't think I will I am a nurse, and you are obviously hurt," Miss Takani stopped.

Kaoru sat on the bed and listened to there little fight, `If you would like to call it that,' Kaoru thought. She slowly placed her feet on the ground once more and slowly rose. Biting her lip at the pain, that shot up her spine. She slowly took steps to the door. She reached the doorway and braced herself on the paneling. She slowly stuck her head out and looked to the direction the nurse had gone. `No one near the hall,' She thought. She braced herself once again for the pain and walked slowly out of the room, toward the so- called arguing.

She grasped the wall and slowly ebbed her way toward the voices.

"Ow, that hurt." Miss Takani's voice called out.

"It's not my fault it's long and hard." Kenshin stated.

"Well do you have to swing it around like that?" She scolded.

"Well yeah, my muscles have a mind of their own, you should know that one." Kenshin almost yelled.

Kaoru stopped dead in her tracks. "No way they can't be," He face flushed as she stepped closer, her eyes closing at the pain.

"No don't put it in that way, its backwards," Kenshin griped.

"How can it be backwards, can't it go either way. Miss Takani asked.

`No way, that doesn't make sense,' Kaoru thought as she got to the corner.

"AH," Kenshin gasped. "Not so hard."

"Here, let me do that to you, and see how you like it."

"Ow, you do not have to squeeze so hard, besides your hurt not me." She scolded

"Yeah well it wouldn't hurt like that if you didn't squeeze it so hard." Kenshin scolded.

"Hey watch where you stick that," Miss Takani ordered.

Kaoru's eyes opened in horror. She was afraid to look, but she slowly peaked around the corner. She sighed in relief. Kenshin was holding a sword and Miss Takani was bandaging his hurt ankle. She crept around the corner trying to get to the door before she was noticed. Her legs stung so horribly, it hurt not to his in pain. She looked to Kenshin again and saw his eyes on her. He watched her very step. She was about three feet away from the door.

"There you go all done now that wasn't so bad was it?" Miss Takani asked as she placed his foot on the ground.

"Hmm," was Kenshin's only response. He watched Kaoru's form, every movement was divine. He shook his head a little and saw she was trying to get away before the nurse caught her. She made it three feet to the door and he legs fell from under her. Kenshin used his swordsman speed to catch her, before her knees connected with the ground.

"Thanks," Kaoru said while looking at the ground. Kenshin smiled, than lifted her in his arms once more.

`I think I will like my new life here,' was Kenshin's last thought as he placed Kaoru in a chair and headed out of the nurses office.

Well it took forever for this chapter, though not anywhere close to being as well written as my last chapter, though I did have fun writing that one scene. Please do leave a review. I can't wait to hear em. Hah I still laugh at the one scene I laughed so much I almost cried.
