Now, as we return to this series of stories from the ‘SMO universe’, we are going back to a ‘subject’ that we haven’t touched on for a while now. I’m sorry about that and after reviewing the previous two stories of this series of stories, I realize one thing: If the female members of our heroes and heroines have Dresspheres, why aren’t they using them? That must be a major question that you are asking! Hopefully, I intend to correct that ‘mistake’ starting with this one-shot. Now, I know that this must be getting REALLY OLD, but once again, I must give thanks and credit to Belletiger and Kanius as well as Kanius’ YuYuGiDigiMoon fanfiction series, especially his The Invasion of the Rajita story, for giving me permission to use the idea of Valkyrie Sailor Soldiers and everything that’s a part of them in my fanfiction. Prelude: A castle of stone and metal floating in the sky that consist of one hundred floors. Within this massive structure, there are countless cities, villages, towns, forests, plains, lakes, and whatever you can imagine. There is only one staircase that connects one floor with another, and these staircases are located within dangerous mazes filled with monsters. The players with navigate through these floors to the top with nothing than the weapons in their hands. And yes, I said players.

 

This is the world of Aincrad, a floating castle in a virtual sky, and yes, I said VIRTUAL sky. This world and this floating castle world are in a realm made of digital information…the world of Sword Art Online. A world that was supposed to be game, but because a nightmare prison when its creator, Akihiko Kayaba, trapped the ten thousand players within this virtual world and if they die here, they will die in real life. The ten thousand players struggle in this ‘game death’ to reach the top of the floating castle where the final boss and the key to their freedom waits.

 

You may know this story and the stories that come after it, but do you know all the stories? All the tales that happened within the floating castle? Story 31: Spira Stories 4: Spheres of Influence

 

Note: This story takes place in the Hollow Fragment timeline and takes place around during time of Chapter 17 of World’s Song.

 

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Celsius

 

We find ourselves on the deck of Celsius in which Suguha is sitting down on and looking out into the distance as Celsius continues to fly through the air.

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Penny for your thoughts?” Suguha gives a look of surprise and she looks to see Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata walking over to her.

 

Suguha says, “Just needed time to relax.”

 

Sakura says, with a smile, “I hear that.”

 

Hinata asks Suguha, “Are you going to be okay?”

 

Suguha says, with a smile, “I’m okay, but I’m not sure about the others.”

 

Hinata says, “They seem to be all right.”

 

Sakura tells Hinata, “Maybe on the outside, Hinata.”

 

Naruto asks Sakura, “What do you mean Sakura?”

 

Sakura responds, “A good chunk of them spent over two years in that virtual castle, separated from all they loved and cared for, and the threat of death every single day especially those fighting to free themselves as well as everyone else from that prison. So, it isn’t surprising, and it is quite understandable that they might have been unnerved by seeing it here as well as, in a way, going through what they went through again.”

 

Suguha says, “No joke, Sakura. I’m unnerved by it.” Suguha says, with a sigh, “But then again, it shouldn’t be surprising since I’m just as connected to SAO as any of them even through, I was only there for three months.”

 

Hinata says, curiously, “Suguha…”

 

Suguha says, “What I don’t get is how a virtual castle can be in another flesh and blood world if not universe. It is really confusing.”

 

Naruto says, “Yeah, that’s weird.”

 

Sakura says, “Well, it sounds like this world, long ago, had plenty of advanced tech that your world could only dream of. It might be possible that they could have made something similar to Aincrad long ago during the age before that Sin freak was destroying the world.”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “Yeah, it could have NO connection at all to that freak and his ‘death game’.”

 

Hinata says, nodding her head, “That’s a good point from you and Sakura, Naruto-kun. It was probably made over ten centuries ago in this world. Unless there is a time difference between Spira and Earth, there is no way that they could be related.”

 

Suguha says, “You may have a point…”

 

Sakura says, “However, you don’t feel that it is a coincidence at all.”

 

Suguha shakes her head causing her to tell Sakura in reply, “No, I don’t. And big brother and sis along with the other SAO survivors feel the same way. The design of that Town of Beginning was too much exactly like the Town of Beginnings of SAO. When things are THAT similar, there has to be connection…or at least what three of the Outer Sailor Scouts feel.”

 

Naruto says, “Well, one of them has a thousand years of experience…”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, bluntly, “Better not say that in front of Trista-san, Naruto. You should know how well women feel about their age.”

 

Naruto says, nervously, “Yeah. Granny Tsunade can tear anyone a new one with just a finger. I shudder to think what Trista-san can do. She may have been stuck in that place for that time, but the ability to observe all of what happen on Earth? I mean, come on, you have to do something to make up for that time, believe it!”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, “No joke, baka. All of us may have been given a ‘super-soldier’ enhancements, but I doubt that it will help with someone with centuries of knowledge on their table.”

 

Naruto nods his head, nervously, while Hinata says, “I think that it is really sad. It must have been so lonely. Stuck there for one thousand years with no one else to talk to.”

 

Suguha says, “That’s what I thought when I first learned about her. However, she seems to take the whole thing in stride.”

 

Sakura says, “That’s because she takes her job very seriously. It is amazing how she is able to keep her sanity. It shows how strong she is.”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “No joke! I doubt that I could keep my head together in that situation! I’ll go nuts in a month!”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, with a sly smirk, “Really, Naruto? A month? You?”

 

Naruto gives Sakura an annoyed glare while Sakura just smiles at Naruto with Hinata telling Naruto, comfortingly, “I believe that you can handle it.”

 

Sakura gives an annoyed look at Hinata and Naruto tells Hinata, with a smile, “Thanks for the vote of confidence, Hinata, but believe me, I would go mad in such a situation. It shows that Trista-san is one tough lady.”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, “One that can turn you into an old man with a snap. From what we know, she is only allowed NOT to stop time. It doesn’t say that she can’t she can’t fast forward or slow down someone’s ‘personal time’.”

 

Naruto says, nervously, “Yipe!”

 

Suguha says, with a smile, “I don’t think that you would need to worry about that, Naruto. She wouldn’t do anything like that.”

 

Naruto responds, “I’m glad about that, but now, I’m curious. Now that Sakura mentions it, couldn’t Trista-san do what Sakura said. She only NOT allowed to stop time, right? Why not speed up time for yourself to avoid enemy attacks or slow down an opponent’s time for same purpose? That’s not stopping time.”

Just then a familiar female voice replies, “It isn’t that simple, Naruto.” Suguha, Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata yelp in shock and they look to see Trista walking up towards them. Trista tells everyone, with a kind smile, “You are right. It is taboo for me to stop time. However, speeding up or slowing someone’s else as well as my own wouldn’t be practical for other reasons. For one, it requires focus since I am manipulating the temporal stream for single individual which means that my focus must be on that individual. Number two, it will take much energy for manipulating a ‘personal time stream’ WITHOUT causing ‘disruptions’ for the general time stream. At my current form, I could only use such a technique for several seconds at best, so, it isn’t practical.”

 

Hinata says, with a nod of understanding, “Since it sounds like a powerful technique, it would take much energy.”

 

Trista says, nodding her head in agreement with Hinata, “It would be Hinata-san. However, if I was a Valkyrie Sailor Scout, it would be a different story.”

 

Sakura asks Trista, “It would be that much easier to do something like Naruto mentioned?”

 

Trista tells Sakura, with a smile, “Not extremely easier, but remember this is a legendary form of incredible power, Sakura-san. But it isn’t only the levels of power that the Valkyrie form provides, it provides other abilities that allow the ‘technique’ that Naruto described to be much more feasible. I wouldn’t be able to use it constantly in a short period of time, but it would be more feasible in combat with my own Valkyrie form.” Trista says, with a smile, “However, with the number of us gaining Valkyrie levels of power, there is no reason to say that I wouldn’t get my own Valkyrie Sailor Senshi form in the near future.”

 

Naruto thinks in his mind, nervously, “Then I had really better watch what I say around her.”

 

Suguha asks Trista, “Anyway, Trista, what’s up?”

 

Trista tells Suguha, “Well, my young hime, they have gone through the second sphere that they have found, and they aren’t liking what they found.”

 

Suguha asks Trista, curiously, “What did they find?”

 

Trista says, plainly and with a concerned look, “Something quite…disturbing.”

 

Naruto says, nervously, “I don’t like the sound of that.”

Sakura tells Naruto, “Something tells me that you shouldn’t Naruto.”

 

Trista tells Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, and Suguha, “I believe it is best that you should look and see for yourselves.”

 

Suguha says, “I’m not sure that it is a good idea to look for us or for us not to look at all.”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “Believe it.” However, they decide to follow Trista back inside of the ship to head to the bridge to find out what was in that other sphere that they acquired on Kilika Island.

 

(On the bridge; a short time afterwards)

 

On the bridge of the Celsius, we find our heroes and heroines assembled together in which Naruto, Suguha, Hinata, and Sakura are looking at the viewscreen of Shinra’s station where they are viewing about a young blond-haired and blue-eyed male in front of a massive machine with a skull-head with two ‘tusks’ coming out.

 

Naruto says, shocked, “Whoa.”

 

Sakura says, “That’s one way of putting it, Naruto.”

Hinata asks, nervously, “What is that thing?”

 

Suguha replies, plainly, “Bad news if you ask me.”

 

Rika says, “You aren’t the only one that feels that way girlfriend.”

 

Davis says, pointing to Brother, “He has wet his pants so much that he wants to get rid of that sphere right away.”

 

Brother yells out, annoyed, “Hey, I didn’t wet my pants!”

 

Rikku asks, with a sly smirk, “Then what was that dance all about?”

 

Brother says, annoyed, “Oh, shut up!” Brother says, trying to sound strong, “Gullwings, front and center!” Yuna, Paine, Rikku, and Buddy assemble around Brother and he prepares to speak.

 

However, Amara says, with a plain tone, “You want to get rid of the sphere as soon as possible, don’t you? You know that you are going to damage your reputation as sphere hunters if you do that.”

 

Brother yells out, annoyed, “Hey, who asked you?!”

 

Cody asks, “Didn’t you say that sphere hunting was originally made to find out the truth of Spira’s history?”

 

Buddy says, with a nod, “Good point. We could donate the sphere to that purpose.”

 

Paine says, “It is a little too late for that.”

 

Mimi asks, curiously, “Why is that?”

 

Sora says, “We’ve angered the two main ‘forces’ in control of Spira right now, Mimi. Both the Youth League and New Yevon.”

 

Mimi says, nervously, “Oh, yeah.”

 

Darien says, “And giving to any other ‘minor group’ may not work since they may have Youth League and New Yevon breathing down their necks as soon as they learn of it. And most likely, it is an ‘when’ and not an ‘if’.”

 

Serena asks Darien, curiously, “Really, Darien-kun?”

 

Kazuto responds, “I believe that Darien is right on that point, Serena.”

 

Naruto says, “Don’t want that karma on my conscious, believe it.”

 

Hinata says, with a nod of her head, “I agree, Naruto-kun. It means that we can only give it to the Youth League or New Yevon.”

 

Gatomon says, with a sigh, “Oh, boy.”

 

Asuna asks Yuna, “How do you feel about this, Yuna?”

 

Yuna says, with a plain tone, “I’m fine with it. I’ve seen it already.”

 

Kotone asks Yuna, “Are you sure?”

 

Yuna says, with a nod, “Yes.”

 

Brother says, plainly, “That settles that.”

 

Joe says, nervously, “Well, not exactly.”

 

Kazuto asks, “Remember what Darien mentioned? We’re going to need to choose: New Yevon or Youth League?”

 

Brother winches from Kazuto’s ‘statement’ and Paine says, plainly, “Some choice.”

 

Rikku says, annoyed, “Now, I’m really bummed.”

 

Tai says, “Can’t say that I blame you, Rikku.”

 

Yuna says, with a sigh, “This isn’t fun at all.”

 

Rikku says, “I know, right? I really need to blow off some steam!”

 

Shinra asks, “How about we ask Yuna to dance?”

There are quite a few surprised looks and Suguha asks, plainly, “Seriously?!”

Shinra retorts, with a nod, “Yep.”

 

Brother says, excitedly, “Oh, that’s it!” Amara, Mina, Lita, and Yolei look at each other and nod their heads in which they sneak up on Brother while he tells Yuna, “Yuna, you must dance! Our sanity depends on it!”

 

Amara, Mina, Lita, and Yolei yell out in unison, irritated, “Sicko!” All four of them then hit Brother in the back of the head at the same time causing him to get knocked down onto the floor.

 

Rikku says, excitedly, “Girlfriends!” Rikku then runs over and high-fives Amara, Mina, Lita, and Yolei.

 

Brother struggles back to his feet and he says, glaring at the five of them, “How dare you!”

 

The five females glare at him with intense glares that cause him to step back, nervously, where Yolei says, with a deadly glare, “We dare because you deserve it, you sicko hentai!”

 

Lita says, “And, if you need to know, hentai is our language for major perv!”

 

Rikku says, plainly and a nod, “Sounds right to me.”

 

Brother shouts out, annoyed, “Hey!”

 

Amara says, with a deadly stern glare, “Don’t ‘hey’ us, pal! How you are ogling over Yuna is wrong!”

 

Yolei says, “You’re related!”

 

Brother says, confused, “Father always said that all Al Bhed are family.”

 

There are plenty of sweat drops from our heroes and heroines and Sakura says, exasperated, “You have got to be kidding me.”

 

Hinata says, “Well, remember what we learned about the Al Bhed and their history, so, you can’t be surprised by this.”

 

Amara says, “That I can agree on with.” Amara says, glaring at Brother with a deadly glare that causes him to flinch, “Him and Yuna is quite different story for SO MANY reasons.”

 

Rikku says, with a sigh, “As much as I would like to see him writhing on the floor in agony for being a sicko, I still need him intact.”

 

Brother glares at his sister with an intense irritated glare and Yuna says, a bit nervously, “I think that all of us need some excitement.”

 

Plenty of the others can’t help to sigh at Yuna in which Lita tells Yuna, “Girl, you really need to learn to say no.”

 

Paine says, “That’s what I keep telling her.”

 

Rikku says, “As much as I don’t want my sicko brother getting what he wants, I really need to burn off some steam.”

 

Amara says, with a plain tone and sly smile, “You could use your brother as a punching bag. I could transform and hold him for you.”

 

Rikku yells out, excitedly, “Really?”

 

Brother shouts out, nervous while trying to remain stern and strong, “Don’t you even dare…!”

 

Yuna says, “I’ll do it.”

 

Plenty of our heroes and heroines look at Yuna, exasperated, and Lita tells Yuna, “Paine is exactly right about you, Yuna.”

 

Davis says, with a nod, “No joke!”

 

Kari says, with a smile, “Easy, Dai-kun. Yuna knows that you mean well for her, but it is her choice.”

 

Rikku says, with a sly smile, “Don’t worry, we can make sure that my brother pays for it later.”

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “I have a few ideas.” Naruto then whispers into Rikku’s ear causing to giggle and grin.

 

Brother asks, nervously, “What are you giggling about?”

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “Sorry, pal! Secret!” Naruto then takes Rikku away with Sakura smirking at this.

 

Sakura says, with a smirk, “Oh, boy. I wouldn’t want to be you.”

 

Brother then becomes really nervous at those words and Paine says, with a sly smirk, “I think that I will talk with them.”

 

Paine walks away causing Brother to become REALLY nervous and Suguha says, with a sigh, “I think that I’m going to take a nap.”

 

Kazuto says, with a nod, “Good idea, Sugu.”

 

Amara says, “I think that plenty of us needs a nap.”

 

Yolei says, nodding her head in agreement, “No kidding.”

 

Tai says, with a sigh, “Something tells me that we are going to need it.”

 

Sora says, nodding her head in agreement, “Big time.”

 

(That evening)

 

Suguha opens her eyes and she find herself in a luxurious bed causing her to be confused as she looks around to find herself within a decent sized room in which while it isn’t too luxurious, it isn’t too ‘plain’.

 

Suguha asks, curiously, “What the heck? Where am…?” Suguha then notices that she has long blond hair flowing down the sides of her head and Suguha turns in one direction to find a mirror where the fact that she sees isn’t the face of Suguha Kirigaya, but it is the face of her ‘Moon Princess self’, Princess Selene Leafa Serenity, however, with her hair out of its usual hairstyle. Suguha/Princess Selene says, “I’m…” Just then she hears a knock on the door causing her to ask, “Yes?”

 

A female voice comes from behind the door where she says, “I’m sorry, my lady! You told me to wake you when it was time!”

 

Suguha doesn’t know how to respond, but she then feels her own mouth say, “Yes, thank you. I shall be out shortly.”

 

The female voice from behind the door responds, “You are welcome, Lady Selene!” Soon enough, the feels her body, as Princess Selene, move on its own revealing that she is wearing a cute yet not too extravagant silvery-white nightgown where she changes into her ‘regular outfit’ as Princess Selene using a bit of magic to tie her hair into the classic pigtail hairstyle of the females of the Lunarian royal family. Completely dressed, Princess Selene takes what looks like a broach similar to Sailor Moon’s first broach, puts it into a sub-space pocket, and walks out of the room where she goes into the hallways revealing that she is in the hallways of the Moon Kingdom palace. Princess Selene starts to walk down the hallways where she flinches at times as she walks.

 

As Suguha watches through the eyes of her ‘past self’, Princess Selene asks, a bit annoyed, “How does anyone walk in these things?”

 

Suguha thinks in her mind, “That’s what I keep asking! Sure, I like to be ‘feminine’, but do you have to wear heels to be ‘girlish’?”

 

Just then a female voice calls out, “Is something wrong, your majesty?” Princess Selene looks towards the source of the voice to see a lovely young-looking maid with short brown hair, light violet eyes, pink hue on her lips with a beauty mark under her right eye and wearing a classic ‘French maid’ outfit walking over to Princess Selene.

 

Princess Selene says, with a sigh, “Ena, we’ve known each other for as long as I can remember. I wish that you would stop that.”

 

The maid responds, “I can’t, my lady. You are daughter of our great queen. While it is good that you are humble since the motto of the royal family is: ‘You rule WITH the people, not ABOVE them’…”

 

Princess Selene retorts, interrupting, “Sorry for interrupting, but it is a VERY WISE saying that has allowed us these ten centuries of peace that we had.”

 

The maid, Ena, tells Princess Selene, plainly, “Yes, my lady. However, your mother knows how to use that wisdom and knows to live, act, and rule in the manner that the people expect of a monarch of her station, Princess Selene. You, her youngest daughter, must remember that. You should also remember that it wasn’t expect that you would live through childbirth as the last ‘Miracle Children’ was your mother and her sister, your aunt, who has joined the great beyond before you were born and I pray she and her beloved rests in peace. Not only did you survive, but you are COMPLETELY healthy and even more than that…you are HER! One of the ‘chosen ones’!”

 

Princess Selene says, with a groan, “Not again, Ena.”

 

Ena says, sternly, “Yes, again, my lady! You have been gifted with a great duty and great power! That, along with your blood…”

 

Princess Selene says, interrupting with an irritated tone, “Okay! Okay, Ena! I get it!”

 

Ena says, with a sigh, “Yes, my lady, but I keep wondering.”

 

Princess Selene says, annoyed, “I just keeping wondering what about walking in THESE has to do with being royalty!”

 

Ena tells Princess Selene, “A princess or queen must have grace and dignity in their stride!”

 

Princess Selene says, annoyed, “I think these are made to destroy a person’s feet.”

Ena gives a solemn sigh causing her to say, “Oh, princess…”

 

Princess Selene says, “Anyway, I have got to go. See you later.” Princess Selene continues to walk on despite the ‘discomfort’ she is feeling from walking in heels.

 

Ena says, with a sigh, “Despite you walk around in heels in Senshi form…” Soon enough, the scene shows Princess Selene meeting up with Sailor Pluto, in her pre-Super/Eternal/Valkyrie form.

 

Sailor Pluto says, “Hello, princess.”

 

Princess Selene says, “Hello, Pluto.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “I take it that you wish to go there.”

 

Princess Selene responds, “Of course. Where else do you think I want to go?”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a sigh, “Crass as usual, princess. You really need to…”

 

Princess Selene replies, interrupting, “Pluto, I already got that ‘royal station’ bit from Ena today. I don’t need it from you.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a smile, “I tend to agree with her.”

 

Princess Selene says, annoyed, “Yes, you do.” Princess Selene says, with a plain tone, “You know what I was born and bred to be, Pluto.”

 

Sailor Pluto retorts, “There are such things as ‘warrior princesses’ and ‘warrior queens’ where they can be warriors and rulers at the same time, princess.”

 

Princess Selene replies, plainly, “Well, I’m not cut out for the ‘ruler’ part, Pluto.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “It is best that you don’t doubt your blood, princess.”

 

Princess Selene says, with a sigh, “Whatever. Time to head out to Spira.”

 

Suguha thinks in her mind, “Wait! Did she…I mean, I, just say Spira?!” However, before Suguha can think about anything else, she hears a voice ringing all around her and the voice said just two words: ‘Wake up!’ The whole ‘scene’ then starts to fade and we then see Suguha groaning in a bed as she slowly starts to wake up.

 

Soon after, Suguha hears a voice call out, “Sugu! Sugu, wake up!” Suguha groans as she opens her eyes and goes into a sitting position in which she sees Kazuto, Asuna, Rika, Keiko, Kotone, Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata looking over her. Suguha gives a slight blush and she asks, “Huh?”

 

Sakura says, with a smirk, “About time sleepy head!”

 

Rika says, with a grin, “Took the words right out of my mouth!”

 

Suguha says, looking around, “It’s so bright…Damn. I must have overslept.”

 

Kotone says, with a smile, “It’s all right. We’ve been through a lot lately.”

 

Suguha asks, curiously, “Where are the others?”

 

Naruto says, “They’ve gone up to the bridge after the party last night to figure out what to do about that sphere.”

 

Suguha says, with a nod, “Oh, yeah. That.”

 

Kazuto says, “It is a pretty much a no-win situation with them. By giving the sphere to one or the other, they will be making an enemy of one of the two organizations and thus, making themselves the enemy of half of Spira.”

 

Keiko says, nervously, “That’s bad.”

 

Hinata asks, “Isn’t there a way for them to make peace with both sides?”

 

Sakura says, “I doubt that it will be that easy, Hinata.”

Kazuto says, with a nod, “I agree with Sakura. Politics are never easy.”

 

Asuna says, nodding her head in agreement, “Yes, Kirito-kun.”

 

Suguha says, with a groan, “Tell me about it.”

 

Naruto asks Suguha, “You were involved in politics, Suguha-chan?”

 

Suguha says, “Back in the Silver Millennium, yep. I don’t have all of my memories as Princess Selene, but even through I’m supposed to be a ‘legendary chosen warrior’, I was still a Lunarian princess and thus…”

 

Hinata says, nodding her head in understand, “I see.”

 

Rika says, with a grin, “Guess you are more ‘Xena’ than anything else.”

 

Suguha gives an annoyed look and she says, plainly, “I’ll get up and ready to go.”

 

Asuna says, with a nervous smile, “Probably a good idea.”

 

Kotone says, with a nod, “We shouldn’t keep the others waiting.”

 

Suguha asks, curiously, “Where are Agumon and Lunamon?”

 

Keiko says, pointing downwards, “Over there.” Suguha gets out of the bed that she was sleeping in and looks down towards the lower level of the Celsius’ cabin where Agumon (Suguha) and Lunamon are with Barkeep where they are eating a lot of food.

 

Suguha says, with a sigh, “Not surprising.”

 

Hinata says, “I’m amazed at how much they can eat.”

 

Rika says, “I think that’s just a snack.”

 

Suguha says, plainly, “That’s exactly what it is.”

 

Kazuto says, nervous smile, “I think that we should get up to the others before we have a bill the size of the ship.”

 

Rika says, with a nod, “No joke.”

 

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Mushroom Rock Road

 

In front of Youth League headquarters on Mushroom Rock Road, our heroes and heroines are waiting outside of the main ‘compound’ of the headquarters complex while Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Shinra, Brother, and Buddy are talking with the leader of the Youth League, Nooj.

 

Yolei says, annoyed, “This is getting annoying.”

 

Mimi says, “Yuna is a celebrity, Yolei.”

 

Cody says, nodding his head, “She did help save this world, so, anyone that’s ‘associated’ with her is going to be bound to be asked questions about that ‘relationship’.”

 

Raye says, annoyed tone in her voice, “Doesn’t mean that it isn’t annoying.”

 

Amara says, with a nod, “No joke.”

 

Serena asks, curiously, “Do you think that they know anything about what’s on the sphere?”

 

Darien responds, plainly, “That’s a good question, Serena.”

 

Just then there is a beeping sound heard and Kotone asks, surprised, “What’s that?”

 

Ami says, taking out her mini-computer, “It is my computer.” Ami activates her mini-computer and her eyes widen when she looks at the screen.

 

Mina asks Ami, curiously, “What’s up, Ami-chan?”

 

Ami says, “The intruder alarm on the Celsius has been activated! There are intruders on the airship!”

 

There are gasps of shock from the others and Keiko asks, surprised, “Really?”

 

Sakura says, “I don’t think that it would activating if there wasn’t, Keiko.”

 

Kazuto tells Ami, “Inform Yuna and the others! We need to get back to the Celsius right away!”

 

Ami replies, with a nod, “R-Right!” Ami runs off to inform the crew of the Celsius about the intruder alarm while the others prepare to leave.

 

Asuna asks, “Who would want to invade the ship?”

 

Kazuto says, with a plain tone, “I have a few ideas.”

 

Keiko asks Kazuto, “You do?”

 

Darien says, with a nod of his head, “I think I know what Kazuto is thinking and I’m going to have to agree with that. However, we will find out once we are back on the Celsius.” The others nod their heads in agreement as they prepare to head back to the Celsius to see if Kazuto and Darien are right about the intruder(s).

 

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Celsius

 

Back aboard the Celsius, we are inside of the Celsius’ engine room where they have found out the half-a-sphere that they found in Zanarkand has been stolen and found out that Leblanc and her gang were the ones that stole it since she left a sphere declaring as such.

 

When the group has finished with Leblanc’s sphere, Paine says, plainly, “She got us.”

 

Davis says, annoyed, “That stinks.”

 

TK says, with a nod, “No kidding.”

 

Yuna says, annoyed, “Oh, poopie!”

 

Rikku says, “Yunie, you shouldn’t talk like that!”

 

Amara tells Rikku, “Like you don’t, Rikku?”

 

Yuna says, sternly, “We’re going to take our sphere back! No one messes with us!”

 

Paine asks, curiously, “What about Vegnagun?”

 

Darien asks Paine, “That’s the war machine that we saw in the sphere we gave to Youth League, correct?”

 

Paine responds, with a nod, “Yeah. Nooj told us to forget about it.”

 

Yuna says, “Well, I think that he is right. We’re sphere hunters! That’s who we are! The Gullwings!”

 

Yuna, Rikku, and Paine give each other a high-five and Brother says, “We steal back what’s stolen! That’s the law of the sphere hunter!”

 

Yolei asks, sarcastically, “No honor among thieves, huh?”

 

Brother glares at Yolei causing him to yell out, “Hey! They are the thieves! We are just taking back what’s ours!” Brother declares, sternly, “Now, we go to Chateau Leblanc! We attack in the name of honor!”

 

Shinra says, “Get our hineys kicked in the name of honor.”

 

Mina says, “Hey! Have you seen our forces? We outnumber and outpower them! We’ve already kicked their butts a lot of times already!”

 

Amara says, with a plain tone, “True, but this is their headquarters we’re talking about. Home field territory.”

 

Kazuto says, with a nod, “Amara is right. We may have the advantage out ‘in the field’, but if we attack their headquarters, they will have the edge on us.”

Asuna says, nodding her head, “I agree with Kirito-kun. Going head long into an enemy’s headquarters will most likely ensure that we lose.”

 

Paine asks Asuna, “Experience, huh?”

 

Asuna says, with a sigh, “Painful experience, Paine.” Plenty of the SAO survivors in the group nod their heads in agreement.

 

Suguha asks, curiously, “But what I don’t get is this: Why did they take only the sphere half?”

 

Ken says, with a plain tone, “I believe that the answer is one reason only: They already have the other half of that sphere.”

 

Rikku asks, surprised, “Really?”

 

Kazuto says, with a nod, “I believe that Ken is right. Why would they go for that just broken half of a sphere? The answer: They have the other half in their hands.”

 

Shinra says, nodding his head, “That’s a logical point. They didn’t take any other spheres. Only that half-a-sphere. It must mean that they’ve got the other half all along.”

 

Rikku says, “That just makes it even more important to get it back!”

 

Brother says, “Rikku is right! We need to get it back!”

 

Plenty of the others pale with those words and Yolei thinks in her mind, nervously, “Oh, boy. We are in it now.”

Yuna says, changing the subject, “We should try to infiltrate their headquarters.”

 

Brother says, excitedly, “Yes, that’s it! Yuna, you are a genius!”

 

Darien says, with a nod, “That’s a wise idea. We should also make it a small strike team. All of us can’t go in disguise or they will get suspicious.”

 

Cody says, nodding his head, “That’s a good idea.”

 

Mimi asks, “How will we get into their headquarters?”

 

Sakura says, with a smile, “That’s simple. We steal some of their goons’ uniforms and that’s it. In fact, if you can get some of their uniforms, I can replicate them.”

 

Rikku asks, curiously, “Really?”

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “She sure can!”

 

Hinata says, with a nod, “Doing such things like that is very important as shinobi.”

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “Plus, we can join ourselves.”

 

Kazuto says, “I think that we need to form a plan first.”

 

Rikku says, with a grin, “Come on, it is going to be cake!”

 

Paine says, “Maybe we should listen to those with the smarts.” Rikku gives Paine a really irritated look, but soon enough, all of them start to plan to acquire Leblanc Syndicate uniform to infiltrate their headquarters.

 

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Mushroom Rock Road

 

At the entrance to Mushroom Rock Road from the Mi’ihen Highroad, Yuna, Paine, Rikku, and our heroes and heroines are walking down towards the path to Youth League headquarters.

 

Yolei says, annoyed, “It has been days and we have been in Besaid, Kilika, and Luca, but no luck at all!”

 

Kari tells Yolei, with a kind smile, “I don’t think that it was going to be that easy, Yolei.”

 

Sora says, “We just got to keep searching.”

As they head on the pathway to Youth League headquarters, a group of Youth League members, including Yaibal, are talking among themselves.

 

One of them sees our group and he yells out, “Hey, it’s the Gullwings!”

 

A second one shouts out, “Well, I’ll be! So, you are going to join the Youth League after all!”

 

Yaibal runs over to them and as he salutes, Yaibal tells them, “Lady Yuna, thank you!”

 

Yuna asks, confused, “For what?”

 

Yaibal responds, “Surely this is the day that you honor us by joining the Youth League? What an occasion! I have longed for this day to come!”

 

Yuna says, trying to explain, “Actually, that’s not why we’re here…”

 

However, Yaibal interrupts by saying, “Don’t worry, the Youth League will give the Gullwings a grand welcome! Please proceed to headquarters immediately!” Yaibal runs off and shouts out, “If you excuse me, I have duties to attend to!”

 

Rika says, annoyed, “He wasn’t listening to her.”

 

Kotone says, “Guess Yuna is the idol for everyone.”

 

Shion says, “Well, that kind of thing isn’t healthy…especially for the idol themselves sometimes.”

Asuna says, with a nervous smile, “I guess that you are right, Sinonon.”

 

Mimi asks, “What should we do now?”

 

Davis responds, plainly, “Get out of here?”

 

Tai says, with a sigh, “I’m with you. I don’t want to go through that mess again.”

 

Yolei says, with a nod, “Same here.”

 

Kazuto says, nodding his head in agreement, “I feel the same, but we need to make sure that none of Leblanc’s goons are around.”

 

Yuna says, with a sigh, “Yes, that’s a good idea. Plus, I want to clear this up before it really goes too far.”

 

Paine says, with a nod, “Probably a good idea.” The group then heads off down the path towards Youth League headquarters and at one point, they head down the chasm towards the mysterious door that they saw Leblanc’s two top lieutenants in front of earlier where they see Nooj looking at it.

 

Keiko asks, in a whisper, “What’s he doing?”

 

Rika replies, in a whisper, “Who knows?”

 

Everyone looks at each other and Yuna calls out, “Is something the matter?” Plenty of the others look in Yuna in surprise while Nooj turns to face them.

 

Nooj says, “Oh, it’s you.”

 

Amara says, in a sarcastic tone, “Nice to see you, again, too.” Michelle playfully smacks Amara on the back of the head causing Amara to look at Michelle in surprise.

 

Nooj says, ignoring Amara, “As you can see, this place has been sealed. The portal is supposed to react to a certain kind of sphere, but just this one isn’t enough.”

 

Cody says, “Maybe it is a combination lock.”

 

Nooj says, looking at Cody, “Yes, I believe so. There must be multiple kinds of these type of spheres and only gathering them all will open it.”

 

Rikku tells Nooj, “Maybe you should let us take care of this mission! For the ‘right price’, the Gullwings are at your service!”

 

Nooj asks, curiously, “You’ll find the other spheres?”

 

Yuna says, with a nod, “On our honor as sphere hunters. However, we won’t do it for free…”

 

Nooj says, “Very well, I’ll leave it in your hands. Here, hold onto this sphere.” Nooj then goes over to Paine and hands over the sphere to her before leaving.

 

Rikku tells Paine, surprised, “Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! You know him?”

 

Paine asks, irritated, “Why should you care?”

 

Rikku asks, slyly, “Come on, there was something between you, two, right?”

 

Mina says, slyly, “Yeah, spill the beans!” Paine glares at both Mina and Rikku in which Lita and Amara then come over to drag the two of them away.

 

Rikku yells out at Amara, who is dragging her, “Hey, what’s the big idea?”

 

Amara responds, plainly, “What do you think Rikku?”

 

Kari says, with a nervous smile, “Well, we didn’t get one of the uniforms, but we managed to get a new sphere.”

 

Davis says, with a nod, “Yeah, good…!!” However, Davis doesn’t finish his statement when he leans against the rock wall near the door where it opens up causing him to fall down an opening that contains an underground stairway in the old stone pathway where he lands in an underground pathway with a ‘thud’.

 

Kari says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!”

 

Yolei asks, confused, “Where did this come from?!”

 

Tai says, “I don’t know, but let’s make sure that Davis is okay.”

 

TK says, with a nod, “Right!” Soon enough, the group, Kari going in first, follows Davis down the opening that contains the stairway where when the last of them goes down the stairway a sliding door seals the passageway as if it never appeared in the first place. Down in the underground tunnels, which are mysterious lit by some kind of light, we find everyone assembled at the bottom of the stairway with Kazuto helping Davis to his feet.

 

Naruto asks Davis, “You okay?”

 

Davis says, with a groan, “At least I landed on the hardest part of my body.”

 

Rikku asks, “What is this place?”

 

Yuna says, “I don’t know.”

 

Asuna asks, “No one has found this place before?”

 

Yuna responds, shaking her head, “No. No one has known about these tunnels.”

 

Paine says, “These are definitely man-made. These aren’t natural at all.”

 

Rikku says, excitedly, “Ooh, it must mean that there is treasure here!”

 

Kotone says, with a nod, “You might be right, Rikku.”

 

Mimi asks, curiously, “Do we have time to explore?”

 

Paine responds, “I think that we may have the time since something tells me that we can’t go back the way that we came anyway.” Kazuto then goes back up the stairs to the entrance, which has closed behind the group, and he finds that he can’t open it from inside of the underground passageway.

 

When he comes back, Kazuto says, with a nod, “Paine’s right. I checked the entranceway and it won’t move an inch.”

 

Darien says, looking through the tunnelway, “It is most likely that we are going to have go through these tunnels.”

 

Rikku says, with a smile, “Come on, there could be tons of spheres in here!” Rikku tells Yuna and Paine, “Just imagine it, Yunie! This is a part of the island that no one has even been before! That must mean that there is treasure here including all sorts of spheres!”

 

Paine says, with a plain tone, “Maybe. But that’s a good possibility.”

 

Rikku asks, excitedly, “Then what are we waiting for?”

 

Mina says, with a grin, “Nothing, Rikku! Let’s get going!”

 

Rikku says, excitedly, “You know it, girlfriend!” Mina and Rikku head off while the others can’t help to follow them. They continue to move through the tunnels for a brief while until they reach the end where they find themselves in a massive cylinder-shaped room filled with what looked like ruined machina or machines all over the place with a platform in the center. The platform contains what looks like broken statues and one sphere. Rikku says, excitedly, “Awesome! There is our sphere!”

 

Paine says, “So, you were right.”

 

Rikku says, annoyed, “Hey!”

 

Yuna says, looking around the room, “There is a lot of ancient machina around here.”

 

Rikku says, with a grin, “That means that it must be valuable! If it had so many of these guard machina all over the place!”

 

Darien says, “We should be careful then.”

 

Ken says, with a nod, “If it had all this protection, there could still be traps and defenses that are still online.”

 

Rikku says, “Come on! Look at this place! Everything, but the sphere, has fallen apart! This is going to be a breeze!” Plenty of the others feel a ‘cold chill’ from Rikku’s words as they advanced towards the platform containing the sphere, but then three weapon machina, two Mech Guard and one Mech Leader, comes out of the shadows to face our group.

 

Paine tells Rikku, plainly, “There we go.”

 

Amara says, with a nod, “Yep.”

 

Rikku asks, a bit annoyed, “Really?” Rikku says, “These guys are pipsqueaks! Just zap them with lightning magic and they are scrap metal!”

 

Yuna tells Rikku, “You really have gotten over your fear of lightning.”

 

Rikku says, with a smirk, “Heh! And I know that I won’t get hit because my big dumb brother isn’t wielding it!”

 

Yuna says, “Come on, he isn’t that bad.”

 

Rikku tells Yuna, with an irritated tone, “You weren’t shocked by him, Yunie!”

 

Yolei asks, sarcastically, “Can we focus on the killer robots that want to kill us?” Yolei then points to the Mech Guards and Mech Leader that’s approaching them.

 

TK says, with a nod, “Good idea, Yolei.” Soon enough, like Rikku said, it takes a few Thundara spells from those in our group with Black Mage Dressphere or access to that kind of elemental magic to take out the three machina opponents.

 

Mina says, with a grin, “And that’s that! Instant scrap metal!”

 

Rikku says, with a wide grin, “No joke, girlfriend!”

 

Mina and Rikku rush over to the platform with Lita yelling out, “Hold on a second!” However, it is too late as Mina and Rikku get over to the platform.

 

Rikku says, with a grin, “All ours!” Rikku takes the sphere on the platform and the whole area then starts to shake.

 

Mimi says, nervously, “Uh oh.”

 

Joe says, nervously, “We knew it.”

 

Matt says, with a nod, “Yep. Saw this coming.” The entranceway behind them closes and the walls, minus the wall behind, seem to side open to ‘turn’ the room into a massive rectangular room with three massive golem-like machina, Defender, stomp forward.

 

Keiko says, nervously, “They’re huge!”

 

Raye tells Mina and Rikku, annoyed, “Way to go, you two!”

 

Paine says, with a nod, “You got that right.”

 

Rikku says, nervously, “Hey!”

 

Kazuto says, seriously, “We don’t have time for any ‘blame games’!”

 

Suguha says, seriously, “Big brother is right! We’ve got three big bad machine golems that want to stomp us flat!”

 

Joe says, nervously, “These are the times that I wish that Gomamon and the others were here!”

 

Lita says, with a grin, “Don’t get your glasses in a twist, Joe! That’s why we are here!” Soon enough, the Sailor Scout members of the group take out their transformation items and prepare to transform.

With those words, Serena, Kari, Suguha, Asuna, Ami, Mina, Raye, Lita, Hotaru, Amara, Michelle, Trista, and Shion transform into their Sailor Scout forms of Valkyrie Sailor Moon, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial, Valkyrie Sailor Sun, Valkyrie Sailor Star, and Eternal Sailors Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Orion.

 

Rika says, “Well, here we go again.”

 

Kazuto says, “Okay, everyone, be careful!”

 

Sailor Star says, with a nod, “Right, Kirito-kun!” Darien transforms into Tuxedo Mask as the battle starts against the three mechanized golems as they start off by attempt their powerful Haymaker, but Sailor Saturn uses her Silent Wall to absorb the attacks through after the last attack, Sailor Saturn stumbles backwards due to the strain of holding back the powerful assault.

 

Sailor Neptune asks, concerned, “Are you okay, Firefly?”

 

Sailor Saturn replies, weakly, “Y-Yes.” Rika, still in her Gunner Dressphere, uses Trigger Happy, but it doesn’t seem to do much damage.

 

Rika says, nervously, “Oh, rats!”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, “We need to go bigger!”

 

Kazuto asks Yuna, “Do you have any idea on what these can do?”

 

Yuna responds, with a nod, “Yes, I do. I’ve seen plenty of this type before. They focus on powerful assaults. We need to use abilities that weaken their power and defensive abilities.”

 

Paine says, “That’s Strea’s and my job!”

 

Strea says, excitedly, “You got it!” Paine and Strea then uses Power Break and Armor Break to weaken their attack and their ability to withstand physical attacks.

 

Yuna says, seriously, “They are also weak against magic attacks!”

 

Sailor Celestial says, excitedly, “That’s what we have been waiting for!” Just then the three Defender then fire off their left fists that rocket towards our Sailor Scouts in which they barely dodge, and they punch the upper part of the backwall.

 

Tai asks, shocked, “What the heck was that?!”

 

Matt says, stunned, “They can fire their fists that’s what!”

 

Rikku says, nervously, “That’s their Blast Punch, but wait a minute! It is usually the Defender Z version of these guys that can use that attack!”

 

Paine says, seriously, “Does it really matter what version can use what attack using? It has that attack and it is using it!”

 

Yuna says, “Watch out for its Haymaker!”

 

Yolei says, with a nod, “No joke!” Yolei’s clothing glows in which she changes into a violet and red version of Yuna’s Black Mage Dressphere and she tells Sora, “Double team!”

 

Sora says, with a nod, “Right!” Soon after, Yolei and Sora, using the power of the Black Mage Dressphere unleashes a series of elemental magic attacks, including Fira, Thundara, Blizzara, and Watera, at the three ancient machine opponents with Keiko, in a blue and red version of Yuna’s White Mage Dressphere, starts to use Haste to increase the speed of the group while Paine and Strea use Mental Break to weaken the magic resistance of the three machine golems while barely dodging their pure physical attacks, especially the powerful Haymaker and Blast Punch with Keiko and other White Mages of the group using defensive spells like Protect to boost their defense in which they also combine it with Sailor Saturn’s Silent Wallto create powerful shields of protection.

 

Sailor Uranus says, “While it is weak! Use your elemental powers on one of them!” Sailors Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter combine their powers to seriously damage one of the Defenders in which Sailor Celestial comes and cuts it in half with one massive cut.

 

Rika yells out, excitedly, “Way to go!”

 

Sailor Moon says, excitedly, “Great job, girls!

 

Naruto shouts out, “Awesome! Then it is my turn!” Naruto then uses his Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu to create hundreds of Shadow Clones that swarm on the remaining two Defenders, but they knock out dozens of them with single attacks of their Haymaker attacks, however, the real Naruto, with two familiar spheres of chakra in his hands, is right below one of them.

 

“Rasenrengan!”

 

Naruto then slams both spheres of chakra right into the waist of another Defender in which it shatters into dust within just a few seconds where the third turns to attack Naruto from his right flank.

 

Hinata says, “No, you don’t!” Hinata then uses her Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists on the final Defender while Sakura uses her chakra enhanced strength to smash it in the head causing the golem-like machine to stumble backwards.

 

Sailor Venus says, excitedly, “Way to go!”

 

Sailor Orion says, “There is a crack in it!”

 

Sailor Star says, with a nod, “Right!” Sailor Star then uses its rapier to attack the Defender through the ‘crack’ in the upper part of its form in which it soon collapses to pieces from the focused power of the strike.

 

Rikku says, excitedly, “We did it!”

 

Kazuto tells Sailor Star, with a smile, “Nice work, Asuna.”

Sailor Star says, with a smile, “No problem.”

 

Paine glares at Rikku and Rikku asks, “Oh, come on! We’ve got the sphere!”

 

Yuna says, a bit nervously, “Everything did work out in the end.” Yuna tells Rikku, “However, you need to be a little more careful Rikku.”

 

Sailor Mars then bashes Sailor Venus in the head causing Sailor Mars to say, “No joke! Old temple and a lot of robots means that there could be trouble, Venus!”

 

Sailor Venus says, nervously, “Come on, you see that only on television and stuff!”

 

Sailor Uranus retorts, “In our world, Venus! Remember, we aren’t on Earth right now! We are on Spira and that means a whole different set of rules!”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, plainly, “It’s over now.”

 

Yuna says, with a nod, “I agree. No one is hurt and we have the sphere.”

 

Paine says, “Good point.”

 

Sailor Celestial tells Naruto, “Nice work, Naruto.”

 

Naruto tells Sailor Celestial, “You did pretty good work too, Suguha…I mean Celestial.”

 

Hinata says, “You are amazing, Suguha.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, “Well, Celestial was born and raised to be one of the best warriors in the universe back in the Silver Millennium.”

 

Paine says, with a smile, “She has got talent.”

Sailor Celestial says, with a nervous smile, “Come on, everyone! You are embarrassing me!”

 

Sailor Venus tells Sailor Celestial, with a sly grin, “Come on, girl! Take a bow!”

 

Sailor Orion says, seeing something, “There.” Sailor Orion points in one direction and everyone looks in that direction where they see a stairway in that direction.

 

Kazuto says, “Good job, Shion.”

 

Sailor Orion replies, plainly, “Not a problem.”

 

Yolei says, “Let’s get out of here!”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, with a nod, “You got that right!”

 

Sakura says, “Be careful of any traps.”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, with a nod, “Good point, Sakura. Let’s go.”

 

Sailor Moon says, nodding her head in agreement, “Got you, Darien-kun.” Soon enough, our heroes and heroines head to the stairway and carefully head up the stairs to wherever they lead. Afterwards, they find themselves just outside of the entrance that leads to the Youth League headquarters.

 

Naruto says, “Well, that was a nice shortcut.”

 

Sailor Venus says, “If you considered how NOT short it was.”

 

Rikku says, with a smile, “Well, at least we got some treasure out of it!”

 

Kotone says, with a nod, “I agree, Rikku.”

 

Sailor Uranus says, “Anyway, let’s get to Youth League headquarters and get the situation with Yuna cleared up.”

 

Yolei says, with a nod, “Good idea, Amara.” The group then starts to head towards Youth League headquarters to clear up the rumors that Yuna and the Gullwings are joining the Youth League right up.

 

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Celsius

 

Back aboard the Celsius, everyone back on the bridge and Ami is going with Buddy to assist to see if they can track Leblanc’s subordinates to get their hands on their uniforms while the others are assembled around Shinra’s station to view the sphere they found in the underground cavern/tample.

 

Kazuto asks, “Can you show us what’s on the one that we found in that hidden temple?”

 

Shinra replies, “No problem.” After pushing some buttons, a bit staticky, but very good image appears on the computer screen at Shinra’s station on the Celsius where everyone can see what looks like a balcony showing that lush and vibrant city.

 

Rikku says, “Hey! That’s Zanarkand!”

 

Kotone asks, curiously, “You sure?”

 

Yuna says, “Yes, I know so from the sphere that Seymour showed us two years ago.”

 

Shion says, “Something is happening.” Everyone focuses on the screen and they look to see the image moving inside of the room with the balcony with the room looking like a grand palace. Just then everyone hears a door opening and everyone then looks to see none other than Suguha or should I say, her past self as Princess Selene Leafa Serenity in her ‘royal dress’, walking into the room.

 

Our heroes and heroines from Earth are shocked and Rika shouts out, “Whoa! Is that who I think it is?!”

 

Everyone from Earth looks at Suguha, who has a stunned look on her face, causing Rikku to ask, surprised while looking back and forth between the screen and Suguha, “Wait! That’s you?!”

 

Suguha says, a bit nervously, “Well, my ‘past self’ anyway.” As everyone continues to look on, the video focuses on Princess Selene as she is looking in another direction.

 

Just then a male voice says, “Your majesty, thank you for coming.”

 

Princess Selene, sounding a lot like Suguha, responds, “No problem.” Princess Selene gives a winch causing her to say, giving a formal bow, “Sorry. I’m not used to ‘formal attire’.” Even through her legs are covered under the long dress of her ‘royal gown’, it is obvious that Princess Selene is moving her legs to show ‘discomfort’ with her footwear.

 

Kazuto says, with a smile, “That’s Sugu all right. She doesn’t do high-heeled ‘formal wear’.”

 

Suguha says, with a stern tone, “For good reason. I’m girlish and all but moving around in those things is murder on your feet!”

 

Mina tells Suguha, teasingly, “Says the girl in HIGH-HEELED armored boots.”

Suguha says, with a blush and annoyed tone, “Those are combat boots and you know it, Mina!” Plenty of the others look at Suguha, nervously, in which they continue to watch the video.

 

In the video, the male voice tells Princess Selene, “I’m sorry that Lord Yevon couldn’t make it.”

 

Rikku asks, surprised, “Yevon? As in Yu Yevon?”

 

Paine tells Rikku, sternly, “Quiet.”

 

Back to the video, Princess Selene says, with a sigh, “Well, not surprising. With what you told me about, I’m not surprised that he wouldn’t be here.”

 

The male voice says, “We realize that you have more important affairs back in your realm, your majesty, but this is a dire situation.”

 

Princess Selene gives another sigh causing her to say, “Based on what you told me, Bevelle really can’t stop with their ‘toys’.”

 

The male voice responds, “Your majesty, this is no toy! What they have developed is a danger to all of Spira!”

 

Princess Selene says, “I’ll try my best, but my big sister and mother are better than diplomacy than me. I’m a warrior. I was born and bred to the best of the best.” Princess Selene then says, sternly, “However, I know that’s what you want, but here is the point: Our kingdom does its best not to interfere in the affairs of other worlds unless the good and innocent are danger! We aren’t gods! We are NEVER gods! We don’t impose our will and beliefs over others by ANY means! If we did that, we would be no better than those warmongers in Bevelle! That’s not our way! And my duty is to defend and protect! Not to possibly start wars!”

 

The male voice says, nervously, “But your majesty…!!!”

Princess Selene says, interrupting, “And there is also this Vegnagun you told me about! If it is like your spies said that it is, if I just rush over there, swords and guns blazing, it will detect me and go on a rampage! Who knows how many people all over Spira would die before I bust it up?! It is a risk that I won’t take! End of story!”

 

The male voice retorts, worriedly, “But you…!!”

 

Princess Selene groans out, “Yes, I know! But while I’m one of the most powerful beings back home and possibly anywhere, I’m just one single person! I’m still a single MORTAL! Like the rest of my people, I live WAY longer than regular mortals and I don’t age beyond young adulthood allowing me to keep my youth and vitality for all of my life, however, I’m still a MORTAL! We are all mortals! We are flawed! We make mistakes like any other mortal! We live! We love! We fall and we rise! You have to understand that!”

 

The male voice replies, solemnly, “Yes, your majesty.”

 

Princess Selene sighs for a third time causing her to say, “Look, I will do what I can. They can’t be complete idiots!” Princess Selene says, with a smile, “I’ll do what I can, I promise.”

 

The male voice responds, “Thank you, your majesty.” Soon after, the video footage stops leaving our group stunned.

 

Kazuto asks Suguha, “Do you have any memory of this?”

 

Suguha says, shaking her head, “No…but I haven’t regained all of my memories of the Silver Millennium yet.”

 

Hotaru asks Trista, “Has Suguha, as Princess Selene, visited other worlds in the Silver Millennium?”

 

Trista says, “Actually, yes, she did.”

 

There are looks of surprise and Serena asks, curiously, “She did?”

 

Trista says, with a nod, “Yes, she has. Remember, she is the Soldier of Reality and ‘reality’ is more than just one world or one universe, hime. Her duties can take her to ‘other realms’.”

 

Darien says, “That means that she could have been here, in Spira, in the ancient past. The Silver Millennium ended around one thousand years ago in our world. If our worlds’ ‘time frames’ are similar, it could make sense.”

 

Amara asks Trista, “Do you know where Suguha has traveled as Princess Selene?”

 

Trista responds, “Not all of them. Plus, the Time Gates wouldn’t allow me to see all of her travels between worlds outside of the solar system.”

 

Hotaru asks Trista, curiously, “They didn’t?”

 

Trista says, with a nod, “Yes, Firefly. ‘Higher powers’ were at play and they still are. There are still ‘elements’ of Princess Selene and the Silver Millennium in general that I can’t use the Time Gates to observe.”

 

Lita says, scratching her scalp in confusion, “This mystery just gets more and more confusing.”

 

Mimi says, with a nod, “I’ll say.”

 

Palmon says, nodding her head, “No kidding, Mimi.”

 

Kazuto says, “This confirms one thing. The Silver Millennium and Spira do have a connection and that means that we do too.”

 

Amara says, with a nod, “Indeed.”

 

Asuna asks Kazuto, “Do you think that it wasn’t random chance that we got sent to Spira in the first place?”

 

Kazuto replies, plainly, “It is starting to look like it, Asuna.”

 

Keiko asks, “If that’s so…Why are we here?”

 

Darien says, “We’re going to need to figure that out.”

 

Davis says, with a nod, “Big time!”

 

Paine asks Shinra, “Can you play the next sphere?”

 

Shinra says, “Just a minute.” As Shinra prepares to play the next sphere, the one that they got from Nooj, our heroes and heroines look at each other as they have a ton of question as they learn about how ‘certain members’ of their group have a ‘connection’ to Spira and its ancient history…

Sorry to end on a cliffhanger, but I think that this is the perfect point to end this next update of this series of stories about what happened to our heroes and heroines in Spira. Anyway, I should apologize from taking so long to get this up! You see, I had completed this back in October, but then I found out that I had greatly messed up in the plotline and I had to completely redo much of this story from the beginning! It took me the month of October to completely fix it up! Yeah, I know, it is my bad! Anyway, however, I hope that you enjoy it!
