Happy holidays, folks! It is time for another one-shot and in the spirit of the season, it is going to be a ‘winter holiday story’ and it is quite obvious which holiday I’m talking about. I’ve thought long and hard about the plot of this story and to be honest, I am very proud and excited over this one. I know that you are going to enjoy this one! Now, before I start, which in this part gets annoying, I must give thanks and credit to Belletiger and Kanius as well as Kanius’ YuYuGiDigiMoon fanfiction series, especially his The Invasion of the Rajita story, for giving me permission to use the idea of Valkyrie Sailor Soldiers and everything that’s a part of them in my fanfiction. I would like to give thanks and credit to Kanius and his YuYuGiDigiMoon series, including this author’s Dawn of Chaos story, and LazerWulf for giving me permission to use the idea for their version of Sailor Charon, namely the fact that she is Sailor Pluto’s sister among other things. Prelude: A castle of stone and metal floating in the sky that consist of one hundred floors. Within this massive structure, there are countless cities, villages, towns, forests, plains, lakes, and whatever you can imagine. There is only one staircase that connects one floor with another, and these staircases are located within dangerous mazes filled with monsters. The players with navigate through these floors to the top with nothing than the weapons in their hands. And yes, I said players.

This is the world of Aincrad, a floating castle in a virtual sky, and yes, I said VIRTUAL sky. This world and this floating castle world are in a realm made of digital information…the world of Sword Art Online. A world that was supposed to be game, but because a nightmare prison when its creator, Akihiko Kayaba, trapped the ten thousand players within this virtual world and if they die here, they will die in real life. The ten thousand players struggle in this ‘game death’ to reach the top of the floating castle where the final boss and the key to their freedom waits.

You may know this story and the stories that come after it, but do you know all the stories? All the tales that happened within the floating castle? What about the tales that happened after the floating castle was conquered? Story 32: Winter Un-wonderlands

Note: This story takes place after World’s Song.

December 2025, Tokyo, Japan, Juuban District

It seems to be a typical day in Juuban District of Tokyo where there is a light snow going on and the streets and buildings of the area are filled with Christmas decoration. It seems to be a happy time going through the streets of this part of Tokyo until the loud ‘wham’ is heard where we see Valkyrie Sailor Jupiter skidding backwards across the frosty roads into a parked car where the left side of the car caves in due to the impact of the Valkyrie Sailor Scouts’ form against the car. Sailor Jupiter glares at the enemy that sent her skidding backs: What looks like a large ‘ice golem’. And it isn’t the only one. There are dozens upon dozens of them, but they aren’t the only enemies around. There are also duplicates of Princess Snow Kaguya’s Snow Dancers all over the place causing havoc by freezing people and place in solid ice. Along with Sailor Jupiter, the rest of the Sailor Scouts who make Juuban their home is fighting with Sailor Mars unleashes a phoenix made of flames that vaporizes five Snow Dancers.

After cutting down an ice golem with her Space Sword, Sailor Uranus asks, “Is anyone getting déjà vu or is it just me?”

Sailor Venus says, “It isn’t just you, Uranus.” Sailor Saturn is protecting a group of protect with a dome shield while a group of Snow Dancers attempt to use their freeze attack to break through, but Sailor Pluto easily cuts them down.

Sailor Saturn says, with a smile, “Thank you!”

Sailor Pluto says, with a nod, “No problem, Firefly.” Sailor Saturn lowers her shield and motions for the people that she was protecting to get to safety in which they do so.

Sailor Jupiter uses her lightning to shatter another ice golem to pieces causing her to say, “And this is supposed to be a happy time of the year.”

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, “Evil never takes a holiday, Jupiter.”

Sailor Venus says, “I wish that it did. This is so annoying!” Sailor Venus creates energy chains that cuts an ice golem into blocks and take down three more Snow Dancers.
Sailor Neptune says, “Annoying or not, we have a job to do, Venus. If we want people to enjoy the winter holiday season, then we need to make sure that no one ends up as an ‘ice statue’.”

Sailor Mars says, with a nod, “No damn kidding!”

Sailor Saturn cuts down two Snow Dancers before cutting another ice golem in half causing her to ask, “So, the female monsters made of snow and ice are similar to ones that you fought before?”

Sailor Uranus says, with a nod, “Yep, Firefly. Snow Dancers is what they are called. They were made by an alien invader known as Princess Snow Kaguya.”

Sailor Venus says, with a shiver, “Yeah, she was really cold. And I mean that literally!”

Sailor Mars says, annoyed, “This isn’t the time, Venus!” Just then the group hears the screeches of more Snow Dancers and our Sailor Scouts glance over to see Sailor Moon skating across the ice where she is cutting down one Snow Dancer after another with her swords and with relative ease causing Sailor Mars to say, a bit annoyed, “Show off.”

Sailor Nebula says, with a smile, “You know that Serena isn’t like that.”

Sailor Jupiter says, amazed, “Wow! Look at her go!”

Sailor Venus says, with a shrug, “Well, the girl is ‘in her element’.”

Sailor Mars says, with a sigh, “That’s what I’m worried about.” After all of the other Sailor Scouts take down more ice golems and Snow Dancers, Sailor Mars says, “Several years ago, Meatball Head wouldn’t be doing this well. Sure, it wouldn’t be anything like she just started as Sailor Moon.”

Sailor Saturn says, “Well, it shows that our hime has greatly improved.”

Sailor Uranus says, with a plain tone, “Yeah, but it came at a price. I also think that Sailor Mars believes…No, she KNOWS that most likely, during the two Christmases that she spent ‘over there’, she was doing something like this and not enjoying the holidays at all.” The other Sailor Scouts can’t help to become a bit solemn at those words knowing that most likely, Sailor Uranus is right.

Sailor Venus says, annoyed, “And that’s why this majorly stinks, big time! You would think that the girl could enjoy a holiday WITHOUT a ‘monster attack’, you know? This really stinks!”

Sailor Pluto says, plainly, “Well, we aren’t the only ones having problems.”

Sailor Mercury says, “I’m getting reports of Digimon attacks in Odaiba.”

Sailor Jupiter says, “And I’m taking a wild guess that the Digimon over there are ‘snow and ice themed’.”

Sailor Mercury nods her head causing Sailor Jupiter to say, “There you go.”

Sailor Venus says, annoyed, “This is like an anime plot or something.” But then the Sailor Scouts yelp as they dodge icicle spears unleashed by the Snow Dancers and ice golems.

Sailor Uranus says, seriously, “More smashing and less talking!” The other Sailor Scouts nod their heads in agreement and continued to battle against their opponents while wondering how their friends and allies in Odaiba are doing against their opponents.

December 2025, Tokyo, Japan, Odaiba District

Heading to the Odaiba District, it is safe to say that the Digidestined of Odaiba and their Digimon partners are having just as rough time as the Sailor Scouts in Juuban in which they are fighting IceDevimon, Frigimon, Hyogamon, an ice-blue version of Ogremon with icicle ‘spikes’ coming out of its shoulders, Sorcermon, and other snow and ice themed Digimon which are causing all sorts of chaos in Odaiba. The Digidestined’s Digimon partners, all of whom are in Champion form, minus Angewomon, who is an Ultimate Digimon, are battling against the Digimon with Davis and Valkyrie Sailor Sun, the Sailor Scout ‘form’ of our Digidestined of Light, Kari Kamiya, are assisting with the rest of the Digidestined staying close their partners.

“Harpoon Torpedo!”

“Meteor Wing!”

Ikkakumon fires his horn as a missile that slams into Frigimon causing that Digimon to be deleted immediately while Birdramon unleashes a wave of flames two Hyogamon causing them to roar out as they are deleted immediately.

Sora says, with a smile, “That was great, Birdramon!”

“Nova Blast!”

“Needle Spray!”

Greymon unleashes a massive fireball that vaporizes two IceDevimon while Togemon unleashes a storm of needles that turns a pair of Sorcermon into needle ‘pincushions’ before the two ‘ice mystic’ Digimon turn into data particles soon afterwards.

Tai says, excitedly, “Great job, Greymon!”

Joe asks, solemnly, “Is it too much to ask for a quite Christmas?”

Mimi tells Joe, “We know how you feel, Joe, but this is the way that it is.”

TK says, with a nod, “Yeah, Joe. Like it or not, we have got to do what we need to do.”

“Hand of Fate!”

“V-Laser!”

“Celestial Arrow!”

Angemon uses his attack to turn two IceDevimon into data particles, ExVeemon uses his ‘chest laser’ to defeat a Frigimon, and Angewomon’s attack takes out two Sorcermon and three Hyogamon.

ExVeemon says, “There is just so many of them.”

Angemon asks, curiously, “What kind of person or organization would attack during this time of year?”

Angewomon says, “Hopefully, Suguha and her team will find that out.”

December 2025, Tokyo, Japan

Within another area of Japan, we find Sailor Celestial, Sailor Star, Sailor Orion, Sailor Galaxy, Sakura, and Naruto looking down at an ‘ice fortress’, a medieval castle seemly made of hardened snow and ice, while ShineGreymon and Dianamon are facing off against a Mega Digimon known as GigaSeadramon, a more ‘intense’ and ‘high-tech’ version of MetalSeadramon, is in front of them.

“Sky Wave!”

GigaSeadramon unleashes an assault of anti-aircraft shells from the launches on its back against Sailor Celestial’s two Digimon partners, but the two of them dodge the attack without too much trouble.

“Glorious Burst!”

ShineGreymon fires his sphere of light and flames from his hands where it goes into GigaSeadramon’s nose causing a strong explosion that engulfs GigaSeadramon’s head causing the Mega Digimon to turn into data particles to signify its defeat.

Dianamon says, “This is supposed to be a happy time of year.”

Sakura says, “It seems like plenty of ‘others’ can’t accept that fact since all they can do is cause chaos.”

Naruto says, annoyed, “What a pain!”

Sailor Celestial says, with a nod, “You said it, Naruto!”

Sailor Star asks Sailor Orion, “What do you see Sinonon?”

Sailor Orion responds, “I see an opening on the lower left side of the fortress.”

Sailor Celestial asks, “Any defense?”

Sailor Orion says, shaking her head, “None. However, the opening is very narrow. Anyone getting in would have to go in single file.”

Sakura says, “That sounds dangerous.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “Do we have a choice?”

Sailor Star asks Sailor Orion, “Any other ways in?”

Sailor Orion responds, shaking her head, “None.”

Sailor Celestial says, “That means that we are going to have to split up. Star, Orion, and I will stay with my Digimon partners and create a distraction. Naruto, you, Sakura, and Galaxy can get inside and put a stop to this stuff!”

Naruto tells Sailor Celestial, with a smile, “You really want to get to those winter events in ALO, huh?”

Sailor Celestial says, with a grin, “That’s obvious, Naruto.”

Sailor Galaxy says, with a smile, “I’m not surprised, Suguha. I really enjoy ALO myself.”

Sailor Celestial says, with a smile, “I’m glad that you do, Hinata.”

Sakura says, “Before we start thinking of VR, we should consider the situation at hand.”

Naruto says, “Right! We’ll take care of the jerk on the inside!”

Sakura says, “Just make sure that you distract them out here!”

Sailor Star says, nodding her head, “Understood! Good luck!”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Don’t worry, we won’t need it!” Sailor Galaxy, Sakura, and Naruto then take off into the shadows while the remaining three Sailor Scouts and two Mega Digimon prepare to act as a distraction.

Sailor Celestial asks ShineGreymon and Dianamon, “Ready you two?”

ShineGreymon responds, “Always, boss.”

Dianamon says, nodding her head in agreement with ShineGreymon, “Yes, we are ready.” Sailor Celestial and Sailor Star take off with ShineGreymon and Dianamon to battle their opponents directly while Sailor Orion prepares to perform her usual duties as a sniper.

(Within the ice fortress; a good time afterwards)

Inside of the ice fortress, we find Sailor Galaxy using her Gentle Fist to take down one ice golem after another while Sakura uses her chakra-enhanced strength to create a massive pit where another group of golems falls down the very deep it where they shatter into pieces.

“Wind Style: Rasenshuriken!”

Naruto uses one of his most powerful techniques to destroy a massive group of golems in a huge explosion while using Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu to create several hundred Shadow Clones to pound the remaining ice golems in the area down. Once that’s done, Naruto, Sakura, and Sailor Galaxy run off through the maze-like hallways of the ice fortress where they find themselves within a classic throne room made of ice and hardened snow where they see a throne of white ice where someone is sitting down on it.

The person sitting on the throne looks to be a young woman wearing Princess Snow Kaguya’s headdress on her scalp, her skin as blue as Snow Kaguya’s skin, long and alluring eyelashes, brown eyes that are seemly turning icy-blue and white, her lips are becoming a snow white color, and she is wearing a gorgeous royal dress that hugs her very ‘curvy’ female figure very well through not in an obscene manner with matching snow white high-heeled shoes on her feet.

The young woman says, “This is what those wretched Senshi send against me. I’m insulted.”

Sakura says, “By the way that you are sounding, you must be an old enemy of the Sailor Scouts from Juuban.”

The woman responds, “I have lived for a long time, yes, but my beauty is eternal. You aren’t worthy of my real name, but then again, I have gained a lovely name. A human that I visited called me Princess Snow Kaguya. It was perfect for one such as I, so, it is my name now.”

Sailor Galaxy says, “I recognize your name. You came to Earth a long time ago to make it a part of your collection, but the power of the Imperium Silver Crystal drove you away. When you came back for a second attempt, Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts stopped you using the same power that defeated you before.”

The woman, revealed to be Princess Snow Kaguya, responds, with a snarl, “Yes. I was practically destroyed by that wretched girl and her warriors. However, thankfully, a piece of my comet survived, and this poor human found it allowing me to take her over. I must say that she has an impressive figure…for a human. She ended up to be a perfect host for me.”

Naruto says, with a snarl, “This doesn’t surprise me in the least. Parasites like you need to latch onto a poor innocent victim.”

Snow Kaguya tells Naruto, with a snarl, “You should watch what you say in front of me, boy.”

Naruto asks, tauntingly, “The truth hurts, doesn’t it?” Naruto tells Sakura and Sailor Galaxy, “You know, our friends were preparing to enjoy the holidays and now, someone like you comes back just for base revenge and to finish what you started. It really pisses me off on so many levels.”

Snow Kaguya says, with a smirk, “It seems like you need to ‘cool off’, little boy.”

Sakura says, annoyed, “Really? You are going with that? Seriously, I wonder how you are even a threat.”

Snow Kaguya says, with a wicked smile, “It seems like someone is full of themselves.”

Naruto says, “We shall see about that. I don’t see anyone around here to protect your ‘royal ass’, lady! It is time to melt the ice!”

Sakura tells Naruto, with a sigh, “Seriously, Naruto? This isn’t the time.” Naruto gives a nervous yet annoyed look, but he sighs as he, Sakura, and Sailor Galaxy prepare to fight, however, they sense danger. It is too late, though, as Naruto and Sakura yelp as their legs and lower bodies are frozen solid.

Sailor Galaxy says, shocked, “Naruto-kun! Sakura!”

Sakura yells out, “Watch out, Hinata!” Sailor Galaxy notices a ‘glow’ from below her feet and leaps out of the way before she is frozen as well.

Snow Kaguya tells Sailor Galaxy, “Not bad, Senshi. I know that you are one of the newer Sailor Scouts that have been ‘born’ since I was defeated by that wretched girl and her allies. I also know about the most powerful among you…this Sailor Celestial, the warrior of reality. I have heard many legends including one of a person that ‘holds the essence of creation inside of their being’…a warrior of the blade that’s peerless. I know that she is that person and she, along with Sailor Moon, who I can see has grown, is the greatest threat and they will not be allowed to interfere ever again.” Snow Kaguya says, with an evil smile, “And now, I have perfect bait for a trap.”

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Hey, we are no one’s bait, lady!”

Snow Kaguya responds, with a sinister smile, “Too bad, little boy. You really don’t have a choice in the matter.”

Sailor Galaxy says, “I’ll get you out!”

Snow Kaguya tells Sailor Galaxy, slyly, “I wouldn’t try it, dearie! You might destroy their legs in the process!” Sailor Galaxy winches at that and Snow Kaguya says, with an evil smile, “If you want them not to turn into ice statues, I think that you should play a game with me.”

Sailor Galaxy asks, curiously, “Game?”

Snow Kaguya responds, “I have been taking my time into research you, humans, quite carefully and I found something quite interesting.” Snow Kaguya then creates a Real Solid Vision duel disk shaped like a snowflake causing her to say, “You dabbled with forces beyond your understanding and unleash a powerful demon, Zorc, that ravaged your world. You then ‘recreated’ these forces as a game. It is quite amusing.”

Naruto asks, “So, you want Hinata-chan to duel?”

Sakura says, seriously, “No way!” Just then Naruto and Sakura yelp as the ‘freezing’ continues to their upper bodies.

Sailor Galaxy says, worriedly, “No!”

Snow Kaguya tells Sailor Galaxy, in a taunting tone, “Would you like to reconsider, my dear?” Sailor Galaxy just glares at Snow Kaguya and creates a Real Solid Vision duel disk that’s attached to her armored left wrist where both Snow Kaguya and Sailor Galaxy insert their dueling decks into their duel disks.

Naruto tells Sailor Galaxy, “Be careful, Hinata-chan!” Sailor Galaxy and Snow Kaguya activate their duel disks causing the ‘energy blade’ that contains their disks’ Monster and Pendulum Zones while their decks are getting shuffled. After that, the touch screens of their disks display 4000 life-points for each duelist, and they draw five cards from their decks.

“Game on!” Sailor Galaxy and Snow Kaguya say in unison as their duel begins.

Naruto says, with a snarl, “We can’t trust her!”

Sakura says, with a nod, “Ditto, Naruto, but we’re in a literal bind here!”

Naruto says, nodding his head, “Believe it! I can’t use any chakra at all!”

Sakura says, nodding her head, “Same here! We’re helpless!”

Snow Kaguya says, slyly, “And you are helpless until this ‘battle’ is done. A battle I plan to enjoy. And you will be the perfect bait to lure in that moon brat and Sailor Celestial.”

Sailor Galaxy says, seriously, “That’s not going to happen!”

Snow Kaguya says, drawing a card, “It is going to be enjoyable seeing you try to stop me. I shall start this off. My turn! I draw!” Snow Kaguya puts one card on her disk causing her to say, “I’ll start off with Cold Enchanter!” Just then Cold Enchanter (1600/1200) appears on the field in attack mode.

Sakura says, not impressed, “That’s not surprising.”

Naruto says, annoyed, “Typical.”

Snow Kagura tells Naruto and Sakura, “You should remember to hold your tongues, brats.” Naruto and Sakura just glare at Snow Kagura and Snow Kaguya says, discarding one card from her hand, “Now, Cold Enchanter allows me to discard a card and put one Ice Counter on a monster! Obviously, I’m choosing my Cold Enchanter and with it, it gains three hundred attack points for every Ice Counter on the field!” A piece of Cold Enchanter’s ‘snowflake specter’ glows and it goes from 1600/1200 to 1900/1200 in which Snow Kaguya then says, drawing two cards, “Plus, since I discarded my Card of Compensation, I get two new cards!” Snow Kagura puts two cards into the main slot of her disk causing her to say, “Then I place two cards face-down and call it a turn! It’s your move, little Senshi!”

Sailor Galaxy says, drawing a card, “Then it’s my turn! I draw!” Sailor Galaxy says, putting one card into the Field Spell slot of her disk, “First, I start off with Sanctuary in the Sky!” Just then the whole area transforms into a majestic castle in the clouds and Sailor Galaxy says, “Since it is on the field, I can play The Agent of Entropy-Uranus in attack mode!” Just then The Agent of Entropy-Uranus (2200/1200) appears on the field in attack mode causing Sailor Galaxy to say, putting one more card on her disk, “Since that was a Special Summon, I can play The Agent of Force-Mars in attack mode as well!” Soon after, The Agent of Force-Mars (0/0) appears on the field where Sailor Galaxy says, “I tune my level five Uranus with my level three Mars!” The Agent of Entropy-Uranus turns into five stars that turn into five rings that surround Mars, turning it transparent, and creating a column of light while Sailor Galaxy gets a Synchro Monster card from her Extra Deck. Sailor Galaxy then says, “Warrior of the celestial plane, ride down from the heavens to bring the cosmic wrath of justice down upon tyranny! Synchro Summon!” Sailor Galaxy puts the Synchro Monster card on her duel disk causing her to say, “Ride down, Avenging Knight Parshath!” Out of the column of light, Avenging Knight Parshath (2600/2100) appears on the field in attack mode causing Sailor Galaxy to say, “Thanks to my Avenging Knight Parshath, I switch your Cold Enchanter from attack mode to defense mode!” Avenging Knight Parshath gives off a glowing light that forces Cold Enchanter from attack mode into defense mode.

Snow Kagura says, with a smirk, “That’s pointless.”

Sailor Galaxy says, with a smile, “Actually, there is a point. When my Avenging Knight Parshath attacks a monster in defense mode with defense lower than its attack, you suffer the difference in damage!” Snow Kagura’s eyes widen at this and Sailor Galaxy shouts out, “Parshath, attack her Cold Enchanter!” Avenging Knight Parshath then charges right at Cold Enchanter and cuts down the monster where Cold Enchanter shatters into pieces with the shards heading for Snow Kagura.

Snow Kagura says, pushing a button on her disk, “I play my trap: Defense Draw!” Snow Kagura’s face-down card is revealed to be the Defense Draw trap card causing her to say, “I don’t receive damage and I get a new card!” A shield protects Snow Kagura while she draws a new card from her deck.

Snow Kagura says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn! I draw!” Snow Kagura says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “Now, I play my Tenacity of the Monarchs spell card! I can reveal a monster in my hand with twenty-four hundred or twenty-eight hundred attack points and one thousand defense points, then I can add one Monarch spell and trap card from my deck to my hand!” Snow Kagura display Mobius the Frost Monarch (2400/1000) monster card in her hand.

Sakura says, with a sneer, “I thought so.”

Naruto says, with a foxy smile, “But she needs a monster to release to unleash its power.”

A card comes out of Snow Kagura’s deck and after she puts it into her hand causing her to say, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I think that you underestimate me, boy. I activate my Call of the Haunted!” Snow Kagura’s other face-down card is revealed to be Call of the Haunted continuous trap card in which Snow Kagura says, with a sly smile, “Now, I can revive my Enchanter!” Cold Enchanter (1600/1200) reappears on the field in attack mode.

Naruto says, nervously, “Uh oh!”

Snow Kagura says, putting one card on her disk, “Next, I release Cold Enchanter to play Mobius the Frost Monarch!” Cold Enchanter vanishes from the field and in a ‘ice twister’, Mobius the Frost Monarch (2400/1000) appears on the field in attack mode causing Snow Kagura to say, “Since I used a monster to Advance Summon Mobius, I can destroy up to two spell or trap cards on the field and I think that I know what I’m going to destroy!” Just then a massive ‘cold storm’ freezes and destroys Sailor Galaxy’s face-down card along with her Field Spell causing the area to return to its ‘original form’, but then Snow Kagura says, putting a card into the Field Spell slot, “Then I activate my Field Spell: Domain of the True Monarchs!” The field then becomes a darker version of the ‘throne room’ that everyone is in right now and Snow Kagura says, “As long as this card remains on the field and I have an Advance Summoned monster on my field, you can’t play any monsters from your Extra Deck as long as I have none in my Extra Deck, which is obviously case! And now, Mobius, attack her pathetic creature!”

Naruto asks, confused, “Wait! Hinata-chan’s monster is stronger, are you nuts?”

Snow Kagura says, with a sinister smile, “Wrong, little boy! This domain belongs to the great rulers and gives them an extra eight hundred points when attacking an enemy!” Naruto, Sakura, and Sailor Galaxy gasp in shock as Mobius goes from 2400/1000 to 3200/1000 while it unleashes a powerful freezing attack that freezes Avenging Knight Parshath solid before it shatters into pieces in which Sailor Galaxy grunts as she shields her eyes from the shards as she loses 600 life-points, but Sailor Galaxy then yelps as her feet and part of her lower legs become frozen in ice while Mobius goes back down from 3200/1000 to 2400/1000 since it was done attacking.

Naruto says, shocked, “Hinata-chan!”

Sakura says, stunned, “Her legs!”

Snow Kagura says, with an evil smile, “By the way, as we lose life-points, we get frozen in ice. It is a nice cold way to show your life on the line!”

Naruto says, with a snarl, “You…!!!”

Sailor Galaxy says, with cold air coming out of her mouth, “D-Don’t worry, Naruto-kun, I can handle this!”

Snow Kagura says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “We shall see, little Senshi! I activate my March of the Monarchs cards! As long as this card remains on the field, while I have an Advance Summoned monster, they can’t be targeted or destroyed by card effects and you can’t summon monsters from the Extra Deck, but my Field Spell is doing that nicely, so, it is just a bonus.” Snow Kagura says, putting two cards into the main slot, “Then I place two cards face-down and end my turn!”

Sailor Galaxy says, drawing a card, “My turn! I draw!” Sailor Galaxy says, removing one card from her graveyard slot of her disk, “By removing one ‘Agent’ monster from my graveyard, I can play Master Hyperion in attack mode!” Sailor Galaxy puts the card that she removed from her disk’s graveyard slot into her sub-space pocket while putting one card on her disk causing Master Hyperion (2700/2100) to appear on the field in attack mode.

Sakura says, excitedly, “Awesome!”
Sailor Galaxy says, “Next, I activate Master Hyperion’s ability! By removing a Light-attribute fairy monster, I can destroy one card on the field!”

Snow Kagura says, pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “Wrong, fool! I activate my trap: The Monarchs Erupt!” Snow Kagura’s face-down card is revealed to be The Monarchs Erupt continuous trap card causing Snow Kagura to say, “While this card remains on the field, while I have an Advance Summoned monster on my field, this card negates all monster’s abilities on the field expect for those that have been Advance Summoned! That means that your precious monster lost its power!” Sailor Galaxy flinches from that remark as Master Hyperion’s ‘color’ becomes ‘dimmer’ as it loses its special abilities.

Naruto says, annoyed, “Damn it!”

Sailor Galaxy says, “Then Master Hyperion will attack your monster!”

Master Hyperion fires a beam of light at Mobius, but Snow Kagura says, with a sinister smirk while pushing a button on her disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I activate my other trap: Impenetrable Attack!” Snow Kagura’s next face-down card is revealed to be the Impenetrable Attack trap card in which Snow Kagura tells Sailor Galaxy, with a wicked smile, “Thanks to this card, I can prevent the destruction of my Mobius!” An ‘aura’ protects Mobius from Hyperion’s attack in which the ‘leftover streams’ hit Snow Kagura causing her to flinch from the loss of 300 life-points causing her feet to get frozen.

Naruto says, with a grin, “Yeah, but you still lost life-points! You should feel the freeze too!”

Snow Kagura says, slyly, “And I love it, boy!”

Naruto gives a confused look and Sakura tells Naruto, with a sigh, “Naruto, she is an alien that lived on a frozen comet and uses ice magic and ice powers.”

Naruto gives a nervous expression causing him to say, “Oh, yeah…”

Snow Kagura asks Sailor Galaxy, slyly, “Anything else?”

Sailor Galaxy says, putting two cards into the main slot of her disk, “I end my turn with two cards face-down!”

Snow Kagura says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! I draw!” Snow Kagura says, putting one card on her disk, “I release my Mobius the Frost Monarch to Advanced Summon his mightiest form! Behold, the king of ice himself: Mobius the Mega Monarch!” Mobius the Frost Monarch glows as it ‘transforms’ into Mobius the Mega Monarch (2800/1000) in attack mode in which Snow Kagura says, with an evil smile, “I can summon him by only releasing one Advance Summoned monster and since he was Advance Summoned, I can use him to destroy up to three spell or trap cards on the field, but I will just destroy the two that you have! Also, since I used a Water monster to summon him, you can’t activate any effects to my Mobius’ ability!” Mobius the Mega Monarch then uses a freezing storm to freeze Sailor Galaxy’s two face-down cards which shatter into pieces!

Sailor Galaxy says, with a serious tone, “One of those cards was Dummy Marker! Since you destroyed it, I get one new card!”

Sailor Galaxy draws a card and Snow Kagura says, slyly, “And you are going to need it! My king of ice, now, destroys your pathetic monster and since he is attacking, he gains eight hundred attack points for this attack!” Mobius the Mega Monarch goes from 2800/1000 to 3600/1000 where it freezes Master Hyperion before it shatters into pieces causing Sailor Galaxy to yelp as she is hit by the shards. However, Sailor Galaxy yelps even louder as more of her body is frozen as she loses 900 more life-points while Mobius the Mega Monarch returns to its original stats since its attack is over.

Naruto says, worriedly, “Hinata-chan!”

Snow Kagura tells Sailor Galaxy, “Do you feel the chill of death upon you? You, soon, will! I end my turn!”

Sailor Galaxy thinks in her mind, “I must endure. Naruto-kun…Sakura…Everyone is counting on me. I have grown much stronger from when I was younger. I am now a Sailor Senshi, given these powers by Sailor Galaxia with her dying breath to protect the good and the innocent as well as those that I love. I won’t fall now!” Sailor Galaxy puts her hand on her deck, and she yells out, “My turn! I draw!” Sailor Galaxy draws a card from her deck, and she yells out, putting one card into the main slot, “I activate Heavy Storm! This destroys all spell and trap cards on the field!”

Snow Kagura says, worriedly, “Oh no!” A massive storm comes onto the field, destroying all of Kagura’s spell and trap cards, and causing the field to revert to ‘normal’.

Sakura says, excitedly, “Yes! That means that her Mobius isn’t protected anymore!”

Sailor Galaxy says, putting one card into the main slot, “Then I activate my Card of Sanctity! Both of us must draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Both duelists draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands while Snow Kagura looks at her hand causing her to mentally smirk.

Snow Kagura thinks in her mind, slyly, “You think that you have won, but I have the means to bring my combo back, foolish girl. My victory is assured!”

Sailor Galaxy says, putting one card into the main slot of her disk, “I activate Machine Angel Absolute Ritual! Now, I can Ritual Summon any Cyber Angel Ritual Monster in my hand by sends monsters in my hand to the grave or returning fairy or warrior monsters in my grave that equal the level of the Cyber Angel monster that I’m summoning!” Sailor Galaxy displays Clear Kuriboh (300/200) monster card and Cyber Angel Natasha (1000/1000) Ritual monster card causing her to say, as she discards them, “I release Clear Kuriboh and Cyber Angel Natasha to Ritual Summon Cyber Angel Idaten!” A magical circle appears on the field with Clear Kuriboh and Cyber Angel Natasha appearing before the two monsters ‘vanish’ into the circle while Sailor Galaxy puts a Ritual Monster card on her disk causing Cyber Angel Idaten (1600/2000) to appear on the field in attack mode.

Snow Kagura retorts, with a scoff, “Is that all? That monster doesn’t stand a chance against my Mobius!”

Sailor Galaxy says, with a smile, “True, but now, Idaten allows me to get one Ritual Spell card from my deck or graveyard!” A card comes out of Sailor Galaxy’s graveyard slot, she puts into her hand, and she then says, putting said card back into the main slot of her disk, “And it is Machine Angel Absolute Ritual! You already know what it does, but this time, I’m returning Clear Kuriboh and Master Hyperion to my deck to play Cyber Angel Dakini!” Snow Kagura gives a look of surprise as two ‘beams of light’ come from Sailor Galaxy’s graveyard, creating a ‘magical circle’, and those ‘lights’ return to her deck, where it is shuffled, in which when Sailor Galaxy puts a Ritual Monster card on her disk, Cyber Angel Dakini (2700/2400) appears on the field in attack mode.

Naruto says, excitedly, “Yes!”

Sakura says, with a nod and a smile, “That’s what she is going for!”

Snow Kagura says, with a snarl, “So, what? My ice king is still stronger!”

Sailor Galaxy says, with a smile, “But my Dakini, when summoned, automatically forces you to send one monster on your field to the grave, but since you only have one monster!”

Snow Kagura says, horrified, “No, it can’t be!” Dakini swings her spears and Mobius the Mega Monarch ‘vanishes’ from the field.

Sailor Galaxy yells out, strongly, “Now, Dakini and Idaten, end this! Direct attack!” Both monsters leap in and attack Snow Kagura causing her to howl as she pounded by both monsters causing her to lose 4100 life-points as well as the duel.

Sailor Galaxy: 2500
Snow Kagura: 0

With the end of the duel, Snow Kagura is frozen while Sailor Galaxy, Naruto, and Sakura are freed from their ‘freezing’ with the remaining Real Solid Vision ‘projections’ vanish.

Naruto tells Sailor Galaxy, “Way to go, Hinata-chan!”

Sailor Galaxy says, with a smile, “Thank you, Naruto-kun.”

Sakura tells Sailor Galaxy, “You have come far from our Genin days, Hinata-chan.” Sailor Galaxy smiles at that, but then Naruto, Sakura, and Sailor Galaxy grow wide-eyed when they hear the sound of ice cracking causing them to look toward the source only to see Snow Kagura shatter, releasing her from said ice where Snow Kagura has an annoyed look on her face.

Naruto says, annoyed, “Oh, great!”

Snow Kagura says, annoyed, “You may have defeated me in that game, but you won’t escape this!”

Naruto says, with a foxy smirk, “Actually, that’s our line to you!” Snow Kagura gives a confused look, but then an ‘arrow of light’ hits a jewel in the center of her headdress causing her to yell out as her eyes widen in horror as the jewel in the headdress shatters causing her to scream out as she ‘transforms’ into a young woman with long brown hair and wearing a white and brown female business suit before collapsing onto the floor with the throne room ‘transforming’ into a large office space in which Sailor Celestial, Sailor Star, and Sailor Orion fly down.

Sailor Star asks, curiously and concerned, “Is everyone okay?”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Just fine!”

Sakura tells Sailor Orion, “Nice shot.”

Sailor Orion tells Sakura, with a smile, “Naturally.”

Sailor Celestial says, looking at the woman that was Snow Kagura a moment ago, “Hopefully, she will be okay.”

Naruto says, with a smile, “I’m sure that she is just fine, Suguha-chan. I can sense that evil witch that possessed her is gone.”

Sakura says, “However, I’ll check her over just in case.”

Sailor Galaxy says, with a nod, “Good idea, Sakura.” Sakura heads over to the woman that was possessed by Princess Snow Kaguya to ensure that she is suffering no aftereffects of her possession.

Sailor Celestial gives a sigh and Naruto asks her, “What’s up?”

Sailor Celestial says, “I hope that this is the end of the trouble. The holidays are supposed to be a happy time.”

Naruto says, nodding his head, “I hear that.”

Sailor Galaxy asks Sailor Celestial, “You really must want to see those holiday events in ALO?”

Sailor Celestial asks, with a smile, “Am I really that transparent?”

Sailor Star tells Sailor Celestial, “I don’t blame you, Suguha-chan. I’m really excited. This is my first holiday VR event just for fun.”

Sailor Celestial says, in realization, “Oh, right! The last three…” Sailor Celestial then puts her hands over her mouth causing Sailor Star to shake her head.

Sailor Star tells Sailor Celestial, with a kind smile, “It’s all right, Suguha-chan. The holidays ‘over there’ were a bit more solemn, but it doesn’t mean that they were enjoyable. My first Christmas especially.”

Sailor Celestial asks, curiously, “Really?”

Sailor Star replies, with a nod and a warm smile, “Yes. Your brother and Usagi-chan helped me enjoy myself a bit during that first holiday ‘over there’ over a month after that nightmare started. Let me tell the story.” As Sakura was finishing her examination of the still unconscious woman that was possessed by Princess Snow Kaguya, Sailor Star starts to tell Sailor Celestial about what happened with her first Christmas in SAO with Kazuto Kirigaya AKA Kirito and our Moon Princess, who went by the avatar name of Usagi at that time, while Naruto, Sailor Galaxy, and Sailor Orion, especially, listening to the tale (A/N: For details, refer to Story 23 and Story 29 of Sailor Moon Online: Gaiden.).

December 2025, ALO, Alne

Inside of the VRMMO world of Alfheim Online, also known as ALO, we are in the former capital of Alfheim where we find Kirito, Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica, Sinon, Philia, Rain, Seven, Leafa, Strea, our Sailor Scouts, minus our Senshi of Wisdom, Mamoru, our Digidestined, Arashi, and two other female players.

The first of the two female players are an Undine with short blue hair, pink eyes, and wearing a red and pink version of Asuna’s Knights of the Blood Oath uniform, minus the rapier.

The second of the two female players are a Cait Sith with long violet hair, violet eyes, and wearing what looks like an exact duplicate of Kasumi’s classic kunoichi outfit with what looks like a violet version of Pina, Silica’s dragon partner in SAO and ALO, flying by her.

Silica says, a bit nervously, “You look a bit tired.”

Sinon says, plainly, “We have a LONG day, Silica.”

Seven says, with a nod, “I’ll bet.” Seven says, looking at the female Cait Sith player with violet hair, “However, it looks like our little Hime is the heroine of the day.”

The Cait Sith player says, with a blush, “I really didn’t do that much…”

Leafa tells the Cait Sith player, with a grin, “Well, Arashi told me how you beat that snow witch good, Hime.” The Cait Sith player, Hinata Hyuga’s ALO avatar of Hime, gives a blush on her cheeks while Arashi gives a smile and ‘thumbs up’ causing the female Undine player to sigh.

Haruka says, annoyed, “I can’t believe that wretched snow sorceress managed to survive.”

Tomoe asks, “So, the enemy that caused all that chaos was the Princess Snow Kaguya that you told me about?”

Michiru says, with a nod, “That’s right, Firefly.”

Mamoru says, “It seems like a piece of her survived and she managed to take over someone.”

Setsuna says, “It must have taken time due to her defeat by our combined powers being so ‘total’.”

Haruka says, with a sigh, “Not as ‘total’ as we would have liked, Setsuna.”

Usagi asks Hime and the female Undine player, “Are you and Sakura…I mean, Megumi, going to be okay?”

The female Undine player responds, “Yeah, we’re going to be just fine.”

Arashi says, “Yeah, but damn! That was…!!”

The female Undine player yells out, irritated, “Don’t say it!”

Arashi tells the female Undine player, “But it was cold, Megumi-chan, believe it.” The female Undine player, Sakura Haruno’s ALO avatar of Megumi, gives a groan.

Hime says, with a smile, “Arashi-kun does have a point.”

Sinon says, “I’m sure that it isn’t something that you would like to experience again.”

Megumi says, plainly, “Not like we have a choice.”

Leafa says, with a smile, “It won’t be that bad! This is ALO and it will be fun!”

Silica says, with a smile, “Leafa is right! I’m sure that this quest will be exciting!”

Makoto says, “We can only hope, Silica.”

Kirito says, “Based on the information from Argo, the quest starts in Ryne and we need to find a short fairy in green.”

Hana asks, curiously, “A short fairy in green?”

Takeru asks, curiously, “Does anyone else get a feeling about this?”

Lisbeth says, with a nod, “Big time.”

Silica says, with a smile, “It sounds exciting to me.”

Philia says, “Let’s hope so.” Plenty of the others nod their heads in agreement as they prepare to head off to Ryne to start the winter quest.

December 2025, ALO, Svart Alfheim, Flosshilde

At this moment, our massive group is in frozen wasteland of Flosshilde, the third main floating island of Svart Alfheim, where the Salamander players of the group shivers at the cold.

Dai says, “I remember this place.”

Hino says, “Don’t blame you. We don’t do cold.”

Asuna says, with a smile, “I have plenty of cold resistance spells that could help.”

Dai says, with a nod, “Thanks.”

Taichi says, “Based on what that elf said, the thief and his gang that stole the presents is here in Flosshilde.”

Strea says, “So, let’s find that meanie and make him pay for what he has done!”

Minako says, with a nod, “Yeah! Who steals from kids? That’s so wrong on many levels!”

Dai says, nodding his head in agreement, “No joke!”

Miyako says, “I’ve got to admit that for this rare time, we can agree on something.”

Dai says, nervously, “That scares me.”

Miyako says, annoyed, “Very funny.”

Akari says, with a kind smile, “Come on, you two. Let’s try to enjoy ourselves.”

Philia asks Kirito, “So, where could these thieves be?”

Kirito says, “Based on the information, it should be around here.” Soon enough, the group lands in front of what looks like a village made of ice and snow.
Leafa asks, amazed, “Is this the place?”

Usagi says, “It looks like it.”

Miyako says, annoyed, “Looks like a good place for thieves that would steal from kids.”

Minako says, with a nod, “Yeah, it looks like a place that Ebenezer Scrooge would like before the end of Christmas Carol story.”

Lisbeth says, nodding her head in agreement, “No kidding, girlfriend.” Just then a group of ice blue goblins armed with swords, spears, daggers, and shields made of snow-white colored ice and dressed corrupted versions of clothing the elves that live at Santa Claus’ home in the North Pole as seen in literature, television, and movies appear.

Megumi says, “We’ve got company!”

Dai says, shaking his head, “Dude, that’s just wrong!”

Taichi says, nodding his head in agreement with Davis’ statement, “I agree. That’s just plain wrong!”

Leafa says, also nodding her head, “I feel the same way!”

Kirito says, drawing his swords, “No matter how ‘wrong’ you feel that it is, we have to fight them.” Immediately, the rest of the group draw their weapons and they start to fight against ice blue colored goblins wearing corrupted versions of clothing worn by Santa’s elves in which they quickly realize that fire elemental attacks are their weakness, but they aren’t too surprised by this for many an obvious reason. Soon enough, the group was finally finished with the goblins in elf clothing.

Silica says, with a sigh, “That was exhausting!”

Pina, Silica’s blue feathered dragon partner, chirps in agreement causing Rain to say, “There was so many of them and they kept getting reinforcements.”

Kirito says, “I doubted that it would be so easy in the first place despite it being a holiday event.” Soon after, the ‘violet version of Pina’, Hime’s partner, goes over to play with Pina with the two feathered dragons fly around each other in a playful manner.

Strea says, with a giggle, “Those two really like each other!”

Haruka says, “That’s not too surprising since they are similar familiars, Strea.”

Silica says, “I was really shocked when you got your partner, Hime.”

Hime says, with a smile, “Yes, I was quite surprised to find someone like Haku. When I was going out to get my partner as beast-tamer, I didn’t expect to find someone like Haku on my first day.”

Silica says, with a giggle, “It is like how I found Pina.”

Lisbeth says, “Personally, I was shocked to find out that there was a similar dragon to Pina around.”

Kirito says, “Most likely, since ALO was based on the same system that was used for SAO and that SAO’s Sword Skills were transferred into ALO, other ‘elements’ of SAO were transferred here.”

Silica says, with a smile, “I believe that Kirito is right. We found the same kind of flower that Kirito helped me get to revive Pina in SAO.”

Asuna asks, surprised, “Really?”

Kirito nods his head and he responds, “Silica and I were exploring a portion of Woglinde where we dropped in a Pneuma Flower on the ground. It is part of the scenery and not an actual item anymore.”

Yamato says, “Anyway, we should get ready for what’s next.”

Taichi says, “Good point.”

Dai says, with a nod, “I don’t think that’s the end of this.” Just then everyone hears a loud insane laugh from a deep male voice causing them shivers.

Hino asks, sarcastically, “Now, why would you say that?”

Haruka says, plainly, “Not the time.” Soon enough, everyone looks as a huge figure emerges from an ‘ice mansion’ at the far side of the ‘ice village’.

Just then a deep monstrous male voice booms out, “Bah, humbug! I hear little bugs at my door! Who dares disturb me at this hour and denies me my valuable business?” When the massive figure comes into view, the group gasps in shock especially Kirito and Usagi with looks of recognition on their faces as they get a good look at the figure. The massive figure looks to be a twisted version of Santa Claus with yellow-white hair, blue skin, red strabismic eyes, and his beard and mustache are spiky in form.

Kirito says, annoyed, “You have got to be kidding me…”

Asuna asks Kirito, “Kirito, do you know about this monster?”

Usagi says, “Nicholas the Renegade. He was an event boss for SAO.”

There are plenty of surprised looks causing to Rain to ask, “Really?”

Kirito says, solemnly, “Yeah, Rain. Usagi and I faced him, and he contains a whole lot of bad memories.”

Usagi thinks in her mind, concerned, “Kirito…”

This twisted ‘monster version’ of Santa Claus, Nicholas the Renegade, a SAO Christmas event boss, shouts out, in a monstrous male voice, “What you little bugs doing here? I demand an answer!”

Dai asks, seriously, “Are you the one that stole the presents from the elves?”

Nicholas the Renegade responds, “What be your point, little insects?”

Lisbeth yells out, “Those aren’t yours! Those are for the kids for Christmas!”

Nicholas the Renegade retorts, with a snarl, “Christmas? Bah, humbug! Just an excuse to give away stuff for free! What nonsense! What ridiculousness! It’s bad for business!”

Miyako says, annoyed, “It’s called ‘good will’, you massive scrooge!”

Nicholas the Renegade yells out, “Good will? Ha! Just an excuse to steal someone’s good hard-earned money! And it is time that ridiculousness stops! If those little elves want their precious gifts back, they are going to have to pay for it like others do!”

Makoto says, angrily, “Oh, you just did not say that!”

Hana says, horrified, “Those are gifts that the elves made to be delivered to the children!”

Lisbeth says, with an angered tone, “Plus, you stole those things! That makes you a thief and it should be you paying the elves for what you stole!”

Nicholas the Renegade shouts out, irritated, “You dare talk to me that, little bugs? It is time to be off with you and teach you a lesson on not get in the way of my business!” Just then large bull-like monsters with reindeer antlers coming out of their scalps instead of bull horns in which one of them have a red circular nose like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

Minako says, shaking her head, “Oh no! No! No way!”

Leafa says, with a nod of her head, “This is so wrong on so many levels.”

Miyako says, “Seriously! This is a major crime!”

Kirito says, “I think that we should take them out and complain to the GMs later on!”

Everyone draws their weapons and gets into defensive weapons in which Usagi says, “This could also be an auto-quest created by Cardinal.”

Kirito says, with a nod, “Good point, Usagi.”

Kido says, “Well, Cardinal has something of a ‘bad taste’.”

Hana says, nodding her head, “I’ll say.”

Dai says, also nodding his head in agreement, “You got that right.” Soon enough, the twisted and bull-like ‘reindeer monsters’ attack our group in which the one with Rudolph’s nose fires laser beams at our group.

This causes Lisbeth to scream out, annoyed, “Okay…SERIOUSLY?!! A laser coming out of the nose?! It was one thing with this perversion of Santa’s reindeer, but this has gone to beyond ridiculous!”

Silica says, “This quest is so not fun anymore!”

Strea says, with a nod, “Yeah! From what I can see, Christmas is supposed to make people happy and this isn’t making people happy!” The group continues their battle and while avoiding the red-nosed ‘reindeer monster’ laser beams, they find that they can’t attack the other ‘bull reindeer’ head on in which they have to attack the sides, however, it proved difficult since the ‘bull reindeer’ monster seem to work together in protecting each other.

Kendo says, “They seem to have the ability to work together in unison in attacking and in protection.”

Taichi says, “That’s not good. We can’t take their head on attacks.”

Dai and Akari dodge another laser beam causing Dai to say, “And that sick Rudolph knockoff isn’t helping things at all.”

Akari yelps as she says, a real nervous tone in her voice, “Yeah!”

Kirito says, “Wait for an opening! Even if it is for a moment!”

Asuna says, with a nod, “Right, Kirito-kun!” They continue on with the battle and despite the difficulties, they manage to find an opening in the focused attacks of the ‘bull reindeer’ monsters where they could attack them from the sides as well as figuring out a pattern to one with a nose like Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer that fires a laser beam. In the aftermath, our group, with their HP around at the halfway mark mainly, are breathing heavily as the defeated monsters turn into hundreds of data pixels.

Philia says, “That was…exhausting.”

Rain says, with a nod, “Yes…it was…”

Miyako says, breathing heavily, “Those…sick knockoffs weren’t…as easy…as I thought…they would be…”

Sam says, breathing heavily, “Not surprising…Miyako-chan…”

Nicholas the Renegade shouts out, angrily, “My pets! My precious pets! You are going to pay for this one, you wretched bugs! And you will pay with everything that you own including your lives! I will collect your debt to me right now!” Nicholas the Renegade then stomps the ground as four-level HP bar appears beside the head of the boss monster with the boss monster’s name on top.

Usagi says, “Déjà vu.”

Kirito says, “Yeah.”

Nicholas the Renegade shouts out, “Now, take this you wretched bugs!” Nicholas the Renegade then pulls out a large bag and from that bag, Nicholas the Renegade unleashes shuriken designed like the star decorations used on trees in which our group avoids.

Usagi yells out, surprised, “That’s new!”

Makoto asks, “He never done that before?”

Kirito responds, shaking his head, “Nope! Not even close!” Soon enough, more stuff designed like decorations for a Christmas Tree come out of the bag and when they hit anything, they start to explode in a ‘colorful fashion’.

Usagi shouts out, shocked and nervous tone in her voice, “Yipe! And that’s new too!”

Kirito says, seriously, “They must have really redesigned this boss for this quest!”

Philia asks Kirito and Usagi, “Do you have any ideas on how to beat it?”

Usagi replies, nervously, “I’m up for ideas!”

Kirito says, noting a massive two-headed battle axe in one of the boss’ hands, “It looks like it still uses a two-headed axe for close range combat, so, watch out for axe style sword skills!”

Asuna says, with a nod, “Right, Kirito-kun!”

Taichi says, seriously, “That might help if we could get close!”

Dai says, “We should split up! One group should focus its attention!”

Mamoru says, with a nod, “Good idea! We are already weakened already!”

Leafa says, nodding her head in agreement, “Right!” Soon enough, the group splits off into two with the best healers of the group falling back while those that are more of tanker-style players provided a distraction so the healers of the group could heal themselves as well as the ‘decoy team’ up. However, Nicholas the Renegade catches on and move in to attack the half of our group containing the best healers, but members of the ‘decoy team’ including Dai, Kirito, and Usagi counterattack and force Nicholas the Renegade to focus on them. But our group’s troubles continue on as Nicholas the Renegade proves to be a powerful foe including the fact that the boss monster can use Axe Sword Skills combined with various ice/freezing style of spells and attacks.

Kirito thinks in his mind, plainly, “I thought so. He has been updated to fit more with ALO since ALO has both Sword Skills, which also have elemental attributes added into them, and magic, allowing for more versatility.”

Lisbeth says, annoyed, “This is a real pain!”

Kirito says, “Well, get ready for more just in case, Liz!”

Usagi asks Kirito, “You think that there is more to this version, Kirito?”

Kirito says, “I would be surprised if there wasn’t, Usagi.”

Mamoru says, “I’ve got to agree based on what I heard from the two of you.” Soon enough, Kirito was proven right that, after much effort, the group manages to get Nicholas the Renegade’s first HP bar down to zero, but when they do, around four monsters that look like human-sized black colored nutcrackers appear and they have the name of ‘Dark Crackers’ with these ‘nutcracker monsters’ marching in robotic fashion where they are firing cannonball sized nuts where they explode on contact with anything!

Leafa yells out, stunned and annoyed, “Come on!”

Miyako says, shocked, “You said it, girlfriend!”

Dai says, “Dude, this is so twisted in so many ways!”

Sam says, with a nod, “We know, Dai! Let’s just finish this up!” Our group continues to fight on where they, now, have to fight against Nicholas the Renegade and the ‘Dark Cracker’ monsters, who had high magic resistance, forcing our group to rely on their weapons and Sword Skills that don’t have any elemental damage, but they manage to defeat the ‘Dark Cracker’ monsters. However, Nicholas the Renegade starts to fight even harder and his tactics change slightly.

Kirito thinks in his mind, “One HP bar down and he is starting to change tactics. We had better be ready for the worst.” Kirito looks at Leafa, Usagi, and Asuna causing them to nod their heads at some kind of unsaid agreement. The battle continues on with intensity with Nicholas unleashing all sorts of Christmas themed ‘projectiles’ against our group combined with various Axe Sword Skills.

Strea says, “Hey, he is getting tougher!”

Hana says, “Makes me wish that Yuuki was here!”
Philia says, with a nervous smile, “It was too bad that she had something to do with the Sleeping Knights!”

Lisbeth says, with a nervous smile, “She is going to be screaming and shouting about who we faced really powerful opponents and all!”

Minako says, with a nervous smile, “No kidding!”

Hino yells out, “More fighting, less yapping!” The battle continues on and they manage to get Nicholas’ second HP bar down to zero, but when that happens, a group of golems in the shape of monstrous snowman, called ‘Cold-Hearted Snowman’, make their appearance and they create ‘ice maces’ in their hands where they attack the group.

Miyako says, annoyed, “Great! First, the ‘Nutcracker Sweet’, and now, it is ‘Frosty the Snowmen’.”

Dai says, nervously, “They don’t look like ‘holly, golly souls’ to me!”

Sam says, with a nod, “You and me both, Davis!” The fight continues on, but now, they are fighting Nicholas and the new monsters, the ‘Cold-Hearted Snowman’, where they find that Mace Sword Skills, like the ones that Lisbeth uses, prove to be the most effect against the snowmen monsters. After a hard fight, the snowmen monsters are defeated, but Nicholas seems to get even harder as his tactics gain even more varied than before.

Hana asks, curiously, “Is it me or is this ‘Fake Claus’ getting even tougher?”
Dai says, shaking his head, “It isn’t you, Mimi.”

Akari says, with a nod of her head, “He is getting tougher!”

Kirito says, seriously, “Keep it together everyone!”

Arashi says, with a nod, “Right!” Our group manage to adapt to the changes in Nicholas’ tactics and the boss monster’s third HP bar is gone, but now, an immense group of goblins that are dressed like Santa Claus’ elves make their appearance and attack the group!

Miyako says, really irritated, “Now, this is really getting ridiculous!”

Taichi says, “Ridiculous and tough!” The group is fighting off the elves while dodging Nicholas’ long range attacks, which have become even more varied than before, in which while the goblins aren’t too tough on their own, their sheer numbers make it difficult and the tiny bits of damage that they do to each member of our group starts to pile up.

Usagi says, “There are so many of them!”

Kirito says, “They aren’t very tough, but their numbers are overwhelming! Their damage is going to start piling up and there are enough of them that if a number of us back off to try to heal all of us, the rest of us won’t be able to keep them back!”

Dai says, “Open to suggestions!”

Arashi says, with a nod, “Ditto!”

Kirito yells out, “Hit them with a smokescreen! Philia!”

Philia says, with a nod, “R-Right!” Mamoru, Philia, Setsuna, and Kirito leap up into the sky and while avoiding the ‘projectiles’, they chant out a spell where they create an IMMENSE smokescreen over the whole of the battlefield in which the goblins are sent into confusion while our group take to the skies above them.

Leafa yells out, “Hit them with all we’ve got!”

Megumi says, “You got that right!” Our group then hit the confused goblins with all of the attack spells that they could muster and causing a huge explosion that manages to destroy the rest of the goblins, but this causes Nicholas the Renegade’s attacks to become even more intense and ‘random’ than ever before!

Kirito says, seriously, “Here we go…!!!”

Asuna says, with a nod, “Now that it is on its last legs, the boss is now its most dangerous!”

Lisbeth yells out, with a sly smile, “Yeah, but we’ve faced just as bad or even worse before! Let’s give this sicko ‘Santa Fake’ a lesson in Christmas spirit!”

Silica says, nervously, “I’m not sure beating it up is a good way, Liz…”

Haruka says, “Let’s think about that later on and get this over with!” Plenty of the others can’t help to nod their heads in agreement with Haruka and they continue to fight against the boss monster. After a LONG fight, Nicholas the Renegade gives out his death roar as his final HP bar hits zero at last!

Nicholas the Renegade shouts out, “Curse you! Curse you and your precious Christmas to the last! Bah, humbug!” Soon after, the boss monster shatters into hundreds of data pixels in which the words ‘Congratulations’ appear over their heads.

Miyako says, with a sigh, “Finally!” The group looks down to find screens showing the rewards for defeating the boss and soon enough, the mansion of the village vanishes to reveal a massive bag where a lot of excellent wrapped gifts are stored inside.

Takeru says, with a smile, “Take a look at what we have here!”

Yamato says, with a grin, “I think that we are going to have some happy elves and kids!”

Lisbeth says, with a smile, “Oh, yeah!”

December 2025, ALO, Svart Alfheim, Ryne

Within the main player town of Svart Alfheim, Ryne, our group is inside of Agil’s shop/café within Ryne as they, along with Klein, Agil, Yuuki and the Sleeping Knights, are celebrating the competing of the quest.

“Cheers!” everyone says in unison as they share drinks and ‘chat it up’.

Klein says, amazed, “Man! It sounds like it was such a quest!”

Philia says, “That’s one way of putting it, Klein!”

Yuuki says, with a sigh, “Oh, man! I wish I was on the quest!”

Akari says, with a smile, “We could have used you, Yuuki!”
Takeru says, with a nod, “Big time!”

Seven says, with a sigh, “It was a big pain in the butt to completely, but we got some sweet items and col out of it at least!”

Rain says, with a smile, “Plus, it was awesome seeing the elf take the presents back in that sleigh!”

Silica says, with a nod, “Yes. There are going to be plenty of happy children!”

Lisbeth says, with a grin, “Yep! All thanks to us!”

Dai says, with his own wide grin, “That’s for sure!” Soon enough, our group continues to celebrate, but at one point, Kirito decides to take his leave and he sneaks out mainly unnoticed by everyone…expect for Leafa, Asuna, and Usagi, who follow him as he manages to sneak out, but Mamoru, Arashi, and Klein take notice of this.

December 2025, ALO, Svart Alfheim, Woglinde

Within the fields of Woglinde, we find Kirito flying over the fields and looking over the vast fields of this island of Svart Alfheim where he starts to see snowflakes starting to fall.

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Kirito-kun?” Kirito looks to see Leafa, Asuna, and Usagi flying over to him.

Kirito says, surprised, “Leafa. Asuna. Usagi.”

Usagi says, “I figured that you would do something like this, Kirito.”

Kirito says, “I’m not surprised, Usagi.”

Asuna tells Kirito, “This time of year reminds you of them, doesn’t it?”

Kirito says, with a sigh, “Yes…”

Leafa tells Kirito, with a sigh, “Big brother, you can’t keep doing this to yourself. Kicking yourself in the pants like that isn’t going to help anyone. Take it from a girl that knows.” Leafa says, with a sigh, “And don’t say that it is all ‘reversable’, big brother. You know that it all isn’t.” Usagi and Asuna give looks of concern at Leafa where Leafa says, solemnly, “I inflicted major ‘damage’ on so many lives and the ‘damage’ may take years to ‘repair’ if ever at all. However, just moping and obsessing over it won’t make it go away.”

Kirito says, with a sigh, “That may be true, Sugu, but it wasn’t too long ago that I got reminded of that failure.”

Asuna tells Kirito, kindly, “Kirito-kun, Sachi-san doesn’t blame you. She told you herself and she left you that message back then too. She NEVER blamed you.”

Kirito says, with a nod, “You’re right, Asuna. But it isn’t just Sachi. The rest of the Moonlit Black Cats, especially Keita…I can’t help to wonder.”

Usagi tells Kirito, “You brought them peace, Kirito.”

Kirito says, plainly, “I hope so, Usagi.” Asuna, Leafa, and Usagi all hug Kirito as they look into the skies themselves while some distance away, Mamoru, Arashi, and Klein are behind them and watching this scene.

Mamoru says, “It is best that we leave them be.”

Arashi says, with a nod, “Believe it.”

Klein says, “I figured that’s why he left.”

Mamoru says, “Fighting that boss again brought back the memories.”

Arashi says, plainly, “It isn’t easy to get over it. I know that feeling all too well.”

Mamoru says, “And in these kind of times and cases, family and loved ones are very important.”

Klein says, with a nod, “You got that right, bro.” Klein says, with a sigh, “Man! I can’t help to be jealous of Kirito.” Klein says, looking at Mamoru and Arashi, “To be honest, I’m jealous of all of you. Bro has got Leafa-chan and Usagi-chan as sisters, who are your two ‘squeezes’…” Klein then looks at Arashi causing him to say, “You also got Megumi and Hime in which Kirito also has Silica-chan, Liz, Philia-chan, and Sinon-chan wrapped around his finger! Can’t you, guys, give a brother a hand?!”

Mamoru and Arashi gain nervous expression causing Arashi to say, nervously, “Next year…maybe.” Klein groans as he droops his head in defeat while Mamoru shakes his head while Arashi rubs his avatar’s scalp nervously while in the distance, Kirito, his girlfriend, and his two ‘royal sisters’ look up into the sky as we leave them at this moment.

The End…of this story

I have to say that this story came out quite good. As per the season, I wanted this one-shot to have a holiday theme, obviously. This time, I also wanted someone else to have a staring role in this chapter and in the one-shots, they mainly seem to star the Sailor Moon, SAO, and even Digimon ‘staff’. Naruto had a starring role in one of these one-shots, but I thought that it was time for someone else to join in which Hinata is one of my favorite female Naruto characters, so, you can get where I’m going with this. And I’m really glad on how this turned out. Action, adventures, drama, and more. I think that this is one of my best one-shot stories to date, but what do you think?
