Prelude:
A castle of stone and metal floating in the sky that consist of one hundred floors. Within this massive structure, there are countless cities, villages, towns, forests, plains, lakes, and whatever you can imagine. There is only one staircase that connects one floor with another, and these staircases are located within dangerous mazes filled with monsters. The players with navigate through these floors to the top with nothing than the weapons in their hands. And yes, I said players.

This is the world of Aincrad, a floating castle in a virtual sky, and yes, I said VIRTUAL sky. This world and this floating castle world are in a realm made of digital information…the world of Sword Art Online. A world that was supposed to be game, but because a nightmare prison when its creator, Akihiko Kayaba, trapped the ten thousand players within this virtual world and if they die here, they will die in real life. The ten thousand players struggle in this ‘game death’ to reach the top of the floating castle where the final boss and the key to their freedom waits.

You may know this story and the stories that come after it, but do you know all the stories? All the tales that happened within the floating castle? What about the tales that happened after the floating castle was conquered? There are stories connected to the ‘tale’ of this floating castle, its ‘history’, and its ‘aftermath’, but they weren’t told…until now. These are those stories…

Story 35: Personal Squad Jam

Note: This story takes place around and after the Epilogue of the Arc III of SAO Shippuden.

May 30, 2026, GGO

Within the gritty and ‘dark’ post-apocalyptic world of Gun Gale Online, also known as GGO for short, we are inside of the main player city, SBC Glocken, which is, based on the backstory of GGO, is a former massive spaceship that just returned to this virtual post-apocalyptic version of Earth. Within one of the bars, we find three familiar players, Sinon, Dai, and Akari are assembled together in which they are discussing something.

Akari says, “I can’t believe that he is coming here.”

Dai asks, curiously, “Why do you think that he is coming here?”

Sinon asks, curiously, “Rematch?”

Dai says, “Maybe.” Dai says, with a smirk, “Too bad for him that Kari-chan and I have more important things to do.”

Sinon asks, curiously, “Such as?” Dai and Akari gives a blush on their cheeks causing Sinon to say, plainly, “Don’t tell.”

Akari tells Sinon, with a kind, yet, nervous smile, “Good idea.”

Dai says, “Anyway, it is going to be interesting to see him back here. Something tells me that he is going as OP as ever.”

Akari says, with a nod, “I’ll bet. You and I barely beat him the last time.”

Sinon says, nodding her head in agreement, “The only reason that you managed to beat him was the fact that you did something unexpected.”

Dai says, “No kidding. Oh, boy. What a nightmare.”

Akari says, nodding her head, “No kidding.”

Sinon says, “If I have any chance against him, I’m going to need to train.”

Dai says, with a grin, “Well, you have come to the right people for the job!”

Just then a male voice shouts out, “Well, I might have a job for you, guys!” Sinon, Akari, and Dai look towards the voice to find a group of four people where they are shocked to recognize one of the people/players coming up to them.

The first person/player is a female player that looks a lot like Leafa in which while her head, facial features, and hair remains the same, other than the fact that she spots human ears instead of elf/fairy style ears, we find that her clothing is different with a sleeveless and shoulder-less green, gray, and black top that hugs her curvy female frame very well, silver grey elbow pads on her arms, brown fingerless gloves on her hands up to half of her lower arms, tight fitting green pants, a bag/pouch attached to her left leg, and silver-grey boots on her feet.

The second player is a male player has spiky black hair in the familiar hairstyle of a blond-haired shinobi with a pair of goggles similar to our Digidestined of Courage’s/Miracle’s goggles across his forehead, dark eyes, and he is wearing a brown short jacket that looks torn over a tight fitting black muscle shirt that’s showing perfectly male muscular chest and waist, black fighting gloves on his hands, tight fitting blue jeans with a matching black belt that contains multiple pouches on it, the blue jeans are ripped down the legs, and he has a pair of black combat boots on his feet.

The third player is another female with bubblegum pink hair in the familiar hairstyle of a certain student of female Sannin of the Elemental Countries, sky blue eyes, deep pink colored lips, and she is wearing what looks like a black sports bra like top under a dull pink sleeveless jacket that’s half-way open, black fingerless gloves revealing her fingernails that have a dull pink coating on them, tight black jean shorts with matching black belt, black kneepads on her kneecaps, and black combat boots.

The fourth and final player is another female player with very long violet hair in Mina’s/Sailor Venus’ hairstyle with a black bow in the center of the top rear portion of her scalp, she has violet eyes, light violet hue on her lips, and she is wearing something like Motoko Kusanagi’s ‘classic’ outfit from ‘Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone complex’.

Akari asks the female player that looks like Leafa, “Leafa?!”

That player responds, with a smile, “Oh, Akari, it’s you! So, this is what you look like here!”

Sinon asks, surprised, “What are you doing here, Leafa?”

The blond-haired female player, revealed to be Leafa herself, responds, “I was invited and after leaving my stuff with Sakuya, I transferred my avatar here.”

Akari asks, looking at the three other players, “And who are your friends? And they the ones that invited?”

The pink haired female player says, with a smirk and a familiar female voice, “Geez, you forget us already? You would think that you would remember us of all people since we do come from a world where we are ‘fictional characters’.”

The violet hair female player responds, in another familiar female voice, “Cherry, I don’t think that they would since we look really different than we do IRL.”

Dai asks, shocked, “Wait! Sakura? Hinata?”

The pink haired female player says, with a smirk, “Took you long enough. However, here, I’m Cherry. Hinata is called Suzuka here.”

Sinon, Dai, and Akari look in surprise causing Sinon to say, pointing at the single male player, “That means that he…”

The male player responds, with a grin, “Believe it! I’m known as Menma here.”

Leafa says, with a sigh and sarcastically, “Really not obvious Naruto…I mean Menma-kun.”

Dai asks the male player, revealed to be Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze’s GGO avatar, Menma, “So, what are you all doing here?”

Menma responds, “Leafa just came back from Rainbow Gardens and I thought that Leafa needed a ‘change of pace’.”

Sinon asks, curiously, “But bringing her here to GGO?”

The pink haired female player, Sakura Haruno’s GGO avatar of Cherry, responds, with a shrug, “Yeah, I thought the same thing. But somehow, he managed to convince her to convert her avatar here.”

The violet haired female player, Hinata Hyuga’s GGO avatar of Suzuka, says, with a smile, “Amazingly, her avatar’s appearance remained the same.”

Akari tells Leafa, with a smile, “Well, she looks good.”

Leafa says, with a slight blush, “Thanks. Menma-kun bought me my outfit and equipment.”

Dai asks, surprised, “He did?”

Sinon says, with a plain tone, “Of course he did. When we met, he said that he really liked VRMMO games.”

Cherry says, with a nod, “I’ve got to admit that anyone in your world would really get into them. Genjutsu from our world feels realistic due to it tricking our senses, but these places are just as good.”

Suzuka says, with a smile, “Thankfully, there are ways to tell the VR world and IRL apart to make sure that you don’t get ‘lost’ in them.”

Menma says, “However, if you want to know, we actually got started since we were hired by members of the administration of GGO, here, in Japan to investigate Death Gun.”

There are looks of surprise from Sinon, Dai, and Akari causing Sinon to ask, surprised, “You were investigating ‘Death Gun’?”

Suzuka says, “Yes, when the deaths of top GGO players came out, it seemed like a coincidence between them being ‘shot’ by Death Gun and them dying IRL especially with the fact that it seemed to be heart attacks that killed them. But a few members of the administration of the Japanese server of GGO wanted to make sure that they were a coincidence.”

Cherry says, “I think that the name ‘Sword Art Online’ has some ‘weight’ on that choice.”

Dai says, with a nod of his head, “I’ll bet.”

Menma says, with a smirk, “Anyway, we didn’t have to do much, thanks to you guys. Good job by the way.”

Dai says, sarcastically, “Thanks.”

Akari asks, changing the subject, “So, what brings you here today?”

Suzuka says, with a smile, “We’re showing Leafa around GGO.”

Leafa says, with a smile, “ALO is my ‘home’ and it is going to be my favorite VR world. I love the feeling of flying on my own wings and the wind in my face.”

Dai says, with a grin, “I hear you!”

Leafa says, with a nervous smile, “To be honest, I wasn’t really enthusiastic about coming here. The whole ‘gritty’ and dark atmosphere of this place compare to the open feel of ALO didn’t make me feel enthusiastic.”

Dai asks, “Not to mention how this is game having a lot more guys than gals, right?”

Leafa nods her head causing Sinon to say, plainly, “Don’t blame you. When I started GGO, I wanted a plain and bland avatar. I wasn’t pleased looking like this. To be honest, I wanted to dump this avatar for a new one, but a…a friend told me otherwise.”

Dai says, with a smile, “They always say that action speak louder than words and no one messes with infamous ‘Hecate of GGO’.”

Sinon says, with a sigh, “I wish that you wouldn’t call me that.”

Cherry says, with a smirk, “Well, it shows that you aren’t a person to be messed with.”

Dai says, “There are quite a number of female players around here with notoriety other than Sinon.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “Really?”

Sinon says, with a plain tone, “It seems so. There are actually two female players that have gained quite the reputations.”

Suzuka asks, curiously, “Do you mean Pitohui and Llenn?”

Leafa asks, curiously, “Who are they?”

Sinon responds, “Very famous or infamous players depending on who you ask though with the first one, it is more infamous than famous.”

Dai says, with a nod, “No joke. I got freaked when I found out the meaning of her name.”

Menma says, with a plain tone, “Believe it, bro.”

Cherry says, “Pitohui’s personality does match with her name.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “What’s so bad about her name?”

Sinon tells Leafa, “Pitohui are a group of birds from New Guinea in which a good amount of them have toxic poisons covering their skin and feathers.”

Leafa says, realizing the implications, “Oh.”

Akari says, with a nod, “And her reputation matches the name quite perfectly.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “What do you know about her?”
Sinon says, “From what’s known, Pitohui is an elite player which obvious since she has been playing GGO since it began. She uses all live-fire guns in both PvP and monster hunting in which she has all sorts of guns.”

Dai says, with a nod, “Yeah. She must be a stinking rich person IRL since all of those guns couldn’t have been gotten by playing the game alone.”
Akari says, “Well, she knows how to use those guns.”

Cherry says, with a nod, “That’s for sure. She is deadly and you need to watch out for her. She has a wicked tattoo on her face.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “She does?”

Menma says, with a plain tone, “Yeah, she put it there herself. You know that this place has a ton more guys than gals and you can guess that early on that they were ‘hitting on’ her.”
Leafa says, with a nervous blush, “I wouldn’t be surprised.”

Sinon says, looking over Leafa, “That’s not surprising considering…”

Leafa says, nervously, “Could we not go there? I know that this is supposed to be practical, but it also…”

Akari asks Leafa, “How many stares?”

Shizuka says, nervously, “A lot.”

Menma says, “Just put a few between the eyes and that will make them see the light.”

Akari, Shizuka, and Leafa give nervous smiles causing Cherry to say, “It could also make them ‘see red’, Menma.”

Menma says, with a shrug, “True.” Menma then asks, “But then again, when has players around here needed a reason to start a PvP fight?”

Sinon says, with a plain tone, “That’s a good point.”

Leafa asks, trying to change the subject, “Anyway, what about this Llenn player?”

Dai says, with a smirk, “Ah, the infamous ‘Pink Fiend’!”

Leafa asks, curiously, “Pink Fiend?”

Sinon says, “Ah, yes. I’ve heard of her. She is quite notable since she is a rare female player, but she also has a tiny avatar. Less than one-hundred and fifty centimeters tall.”

Leafa says, amazed, “That’s tiny.”

Sinon says, “I’ve started to hear about her just before the incident with Death Gun. From what I know, she is an AGI-superiority model avatar meaning that she focuses on speed. A good tactic.”

Akari says, with a nod, “Yeah. A combination of being a small target combined with high speed to allow to move quickly making it hard for others to aim even with the bullet circle.”

Cherry says, “There is also the fact that she is covered in head to toe in pink.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “Pink?”

Menma says, with a nod, “Yep! From what we know and seen, she has made her outfit, weapons, and equipment all pink in color.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “Wouldn’t that make her a bigger target?”

Sinon says, “It depends on the area. However, it isn’t like that bubblegum pink like Cherry’s hair, here, or IRL.” Cherry gives Sinon a glare in which Sinon says, plainly, “It is a ‘dull pink’. Something that you wouldn’t see IRL. However, here, it gives her an edge. Since most of GGO is wasteland, her brand of pink actually blends into the desert-like atmosphere perfectly giving her the ability to sneak up on other players. She realized this right away and she tended to operate in the desert areas to maximize her outfit’s ‘camouflage’.”

Menma says, “She also used tiny guns with her first being two Skorpion.”

Sinon says, “Ah, those tiny guns from Czechoslovakia.”

Leafa asks, a bit nervously and confused, “Where’s that?”

Sinon says in reply, “A nation in Europe. They are a tiny submachine, meaning they fire pistol bullets, and while it is low-powered, it also means little recoil meaning better accuracy, but that doesn’t matter with her tactic. She makes sure to get in close for absolutely ‘death shot’. And with her clothing with the fact that she operates in the desert wastelands, she is practically invisible, so they don’t that she is on them until they are pumped full of holes.”

Leafa says, “Wow. She is sounds good.”

Cherry says, “So good that she started to get the name of ‘Pink Fiend’ and a group of players started to form a ‘counter PK group’ to get back at her.”

Leafa says, nervously, “Yipe! But then again, you can’t blame them…however…”

Menma says, with a nod, “This is a game where getting ‘bumped off’ is fair play since they say, ‘all’s fair in love and war’ and this isn’t love.”

Shizuka says, with a kind smile, “Well, this isn’t war, Menma-kun. It is a game.”

Menma says, with a nod, “True enough, but a game is a competition.”

Dai says, nodding his head in agreement, “Yeah, you have a point.”

Sinon says, getting back to the subject of the player known as Llenn, “Anyway, Llenn really started to gain fame as one of the leading players in the Squad Jam competitions.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “Squad Jam?”

Dai says, with a smile, “Yep. It is the newest thing and it was started by Sinon and your brother, Leafa.”

Leafa asks, surprised, “Big brother?” Leafa then says, curiously, “Oh, wait! I remember that you told me about that!”

Akari says, “Ironically, it was due to the whole ‘Death Gun episode’ where Sinon and Kirito worked together to stop that guy that was part of that murder guild in SAO. No one else knew the real danger begin caused by Death Gun and one of the people watching that Bullet of Bullet tournament became existed at the team-up where he sponsored the creation of a ‘team tournament’ based on Bullet of Bullets. It is called Squad Jam. It is similar to Bullet of Bullets, but they are fought by teams of two to six people in which the winner was the surviving team.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “So, this Llenn was a part of it?”

Cherry says, with a nod, “Yep.”

Menma says, with a grin, “And she went to town on them!”

Dai says, with a sly smile, “And while most teams had at least four players, she went into it with just herself and one more player! That’s it!”

Leafa says, shocked, “Whoa!”

Sinon says, with a nod, “And she managed to win the whole thing with her single teammate. Of course, she didn’t fight all of the other teams, but the ones that she and her teammate fought weren’t pushovers. In fact, one of them was a professional team.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “Professional?”

Menma says, “A team of soldiers actually. They were in there to gather test data for some kind of reason. Why? I really don’t know.”

Sinon says, with a plain tone, “Not surprising that you know why they were there in the first place.”

Cherry says, with a smile, “We have our ways. We are shinobi after all.”

Leafa says, amazed, “But she managed to beat professional soldiers.”

Shizuka says, a bit nervously, “Well, not exactly. She made them quit.”

Menma says, with a smile, “After taking out four of them at once, Shizuka-chan!”

Leafa says, stunned, “Wow! She sounds incredible!”

Sinon says, “It wasn’t that surprising, Leafa. She was moving at speeds that those guys weren’t normally used to. They are professional soldiers and not VRMMO gamers despite the realism that this game provides.”

Cherry says, with a nod, “True enough, Sinon, but it was still an impressive feat.”

Shizuka says, nodding her head in agreement, “I agree.”

Sinon says, “Then there was the feat that she performed during the second Squad Jam.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “There was a second one?”

Sinon says, with a nod, “Yep. Someone sponsored a second Squad Jam and it was bigger than the first one, which resulted in more teams joining up. Llenn’s partner in the first Squad Jam, a burly sniper known as M, wasn’t her partner in the second one. He, in fact, joined up with Pitohui and her team.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “Pitohui? You mean that infamous player that you talked about before?”

Dai says, with a nod, “No joke! And she showed her stuff before by destroying seven teams of around forty players by herself!”

Leafa asks, flabbergasted, “She defeated forty players by HERSELF?!”

Cherry tells Leafa, “More like OBLITERATED, Leafa. She didn’t use any of her weapons in the whole massacre of the seven teams. She uses her bare hands to take out her first victim and then used the weapons of her enemies against them.”

Leafa says, with a nervous winch, “Geez!”

Menma says, with a nod, “No joke, Leafa-chan. That’s adding insult to injury or insult with injury you might say.”

Shizuka says, nodding her head in agreement, “Yeah.”

Leafa says, nervously, “No wonder that you said that she is dangerous. I hope that I don’t meet her.”

Akari says, with a nod, “Don’t blame you.”

Sinon says, “Well, Pitohui wasn’t the only one that performed such a ‘feat’. During the second Squad Jam, Llenn, once again, came into the competition with only one teammate. This time, her partner is a female player known as Fukaziroh, a female player with an avatar that barely rivals Llenn in height with a blond hair in which she is most likely a transfer from another VRMMO.”

Leafa asks Sinon, “What makes you say that?”

Shizuka says, “She hasn’t been known until Squad Jam Two in which may mean that she is a recently addition, Leafa. Remember, female players of this game are rare.”

Leafa says, with a nod, “Good point.”

Dai says, “Plus, she has an incredible strength stats. She is able to lift two six-shot grenade launchers, one in each hand!”

Leafa’s eyes widen causing Menma to say, “No joke, believe it. Most likely, she plays a fantasy game where she uses large two-handed swords maybe even ALO.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “What makes you say that?”

Menma says, “She and Llenn were facing several teams of about over a dozen players in which Llenn basically blitzed all of them expect for at least one.” Leafa’s eyes grew wide at that statement in which Menma says, with a bit of a dark tone, “But one of them that she took out was more like a finishing blow in which this perv tried to do something ‘bad’ with her partner, Fukaziroh.”

Dai says, with a sneer, “Yeah. I saw the footage. The sicko was plotting to kill Llenn’s partner and do sick things to her avatar form since the harassment warning wouldn’t activate since her dead avatar counts as an indestructible object and not a player.”

Leafa says, with a winch, “That’s disgusting.”

Cherry says, with a smirk, “But that majorly sick perv never got the chance! She took his own weapon, a SG 510, and she beat the snot out of him with it!”
Leafa’s eyes grew wide causing Menma and Davis to laugh causing Sinon to say, with a smirk, “Served him right. She gave him what he deserved for being a sick perverted freak. Only after she beat him into a pulp was Llenn allowed to put him out of his misery.”

Menma says, with a smile, “She swing the gun like a great sword in a way players use in fantasy games like ALO.”
Leafa says, going into deep thought, “I think that I know a player by that name in ALO.”

Shizuka says, with a smile, “Maybe once you get back, you can look her up.”

Leafa says, nodding her head, “Yeah.” Leafa asks, curiously, “So, what happened in that Squad Jam? Who won?”

Menma says, with a plain tone, “It was another known as T-S, but they found a good place to wait it out until the other teams decimated each other in which they finished off the last two weakened teams which was Llenn and her friend with the remaining members of Pitohui’s team.”

Leafa says, with a disgusted look, “That sounds like a cheap way to win.”

Dai says, “So did everyone else in the audience. They were really cheering for Llenn and Pitohui, who was popular despite her ‘twisted nature’, because they fought in the tournament ‘fair and square’. On the meanwhile, the final team that won pulled up ‘cheap win’. A lot of the audience was pissed off and in fact, they had formed ‘hit squads’ to take them down.”

Leafa says, nervously, “Yipe! Overkill much? They really need to take a chill pill.”

Sinon says, “Their reaction isn’t surprising to me since these are gun fanatics we are most likely talking about.”

Cherry says, with a nod, “No joke. With all of the real-life weaponry in GGO, there are going to be A LOT of gun fanatics in this VRMMO.”

Leafa says, “Anyway, there sounds like there are quite a few ‘elite’ female players among the few girls of GGO.”

Akari says, with a smile, “Yes, you can say that.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “So, has anyone seen those two players around?”

Shizuka says, “Not recently. The last sighting of her was earlier this month. Based on what I heard, she was out hunting monsters probably testing her new live-fire gun.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “Her newest gun? She changed from those submachine guns that you told me about?”

Menma says, “Oops! We should have mentioned that by the time of the first Squad Jam, Llenn had changed guns to P90.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “What’s that?”

Sinon responds, “It is a gun known as a Personal Defense Weapon, PDW for short. It could be classified as a submachine or compact assault rifle. It uses a special five-point-seven millimeter round that’s used FN Five-seven pistol, but the round is different from other pistol rounds since it is similar in design to rifle rounds. Your brother actually used it when he came here.”

Leafa says, “Oh, yeah. You told me about that.”

Dai says, “Anyway, since the first Squad Jam, she used a P90, but her first one got destroyed in the first Squad Jam and she lost the second one in the second Squad Jam.”

Leafa says, with a winch, “Ouch!”

Cherry says, “And those kind of guns aren’t cheap! They aren’t as rare like Sinon’s anti-material sniper rifle, but they aren’t common like Cold War Russian weapons.”

Akari says, “Well, I think that she was one of the top three in the second Squad Jam, so, she got a significant prize.”

Dai says, “After going through a fight like that with Pitohui, I would be surprised that her gear would remain intact.”

Leafa asks, curiously, “It was that intense?”

Menma says, with a nod, “Yep.”

Sinon says, “It is not uncommon like what happens in the Bullet of Bullets and generally in GGO.”

Leafa says, “This VRMMO sounds like a pretty intense place.” Leafa looks around where she says, “But then again, with the look that it has, I would be surprised that it wasn’t as intense as it looked.”

Menma says, with a smile, “Well, I’m sure that someone like you, it will be a walk in the park especially with what you have been through.”
Leafa says, with a nervous smile, “I wouldn’t say that…”

Shizuka says, “Anyway, we should continue the tour.”

Cherry asks Dai, Akari, and Sinon, “You want to give us a hand?”

Dai says, with a shake of his head, “Sorry. We’re actually here to help Sinon prepare for the next Bullet of Bullets.”

Menma says, with a nod, “Oh, yeah! I heard it was coming up soon!”

Shizuka tells Sinon, “Good luck, Sinon.”

Sinon responds, with a plain tone, “I won’t need luck.”

Leafa says, with a smile, “I’m not surprised, Sinon. You showed your skills in ALO and I’m sure that you are a shoo-in for this tournament.”

Sinon says, with a kind smile, “That’s not a given, Leafa. However, thank you for the vote of confidence.”

Dai says, with a grin, “Not like you don’t deserve it.”

Shizuka says, “Anyway, it is a good idea to go in prepared.”

Cherry says, “So, training is a good idea.”

Akari asks, curiously, “So, what are your plans?”

Menma says, with a smile, “We plan to give Leafa-chan the tour of GGO.”

Shizuka says, with a smile, “While ALO is a wonderful game, in which I love it too, I think that it is a good idea to branch out a little.”

Dai says, with a nod, “Same here. GGO is gritty and dark, but it has its own charm.”

Leafa says, a bit nervously, “I don’t know.”

Sinon says, “I’m not sure if a fantasy VRMMO player can handle something intense as this world especially since there are so many difference.”

Menma asks, with a grin, “Don’t worry, with me as her guild, what could go wrong?” Dai, Akari, Sinon, Leafa, and Cherry then sweat drop at Menma’s words causing him to say, nervously, “Whoops!”

Shizuka says, with a sight nervous smile, “Anyway, we should get going.”

Dai says, with a nod, “Catch you later.”

Akari and Sinon nod their heads and Leafa says, “See you.” Dai, Akari, and Sinon wave Cherry, Shizuka, Menma, and Leafa goodbye as they head off.

With Dai, Akari, and Sinon, Akari asks, “Will Leafa be okay?”

Dai says, with a smile, “I’m sure that she will be just fine, Kari-chan. She is a tough girl. She has been through a lot already.”

Sinon says, with a nod, “True, but we will have to see.” Dai and Akari nod their heads in which they go back to preparations to train with Sinon to prepare her for the upcoming Bullet of Bullets tournament.

(Later on; that same day)

Within a bedroom, we find Cherry, Shizuka, Menma, and Leafa inside where we find Leafa lying down on her stomach on the bed without an article of clothing on her and only a towel covering her ‘rear end’. On the meanwhile, Menma, wearing only a pair of black boxes showing his perfectly male muscular body frame, Cherry, wearing risqué red lingerie, and Shizuka, wearing risqué violet lingerie, are hovering over her in which Shizuka is rubbing her hands together.

Leafa asks, with a blush on her cheeks, “Are you sure about this?”

Shizuka says, with a smile, “It is going to be all right, Leafa-chan. You’ll enjoy it.” Shizuka then starts to rub her hands all over Leafa’s back, spreading a massage lotion/gel all over her back, causing Leafa to lightly moan as Shizuka massages her back.

Menma asks, “How does that feel?”

Leafa says, with a pleasured sigh, “That…feels good…”

Shizuka tells Leafa, “That’s good to know, Leafa-chan. Menma-kun is quite good at it too.”

Leafa asks, “Really?”

Menma tells Leafa, with a grin, “How about you find out?” Menma looks at Shizuka causing her to nod as she gets out of the way in which Menma steps in to massage Leafa’s back causing her to flush.

Cherry says, “It shouldn’t be too surprising that they have something like this.” Leafa gives a confused look causing Cherry to say, “This is a fast pace shooting game and you know people get ‘excited’ in shooting games even before VRMMO games.”

Leafa says, with a nod, “You have a point.”

Menma says, “Yeah, but VRMMO are more realistic for obvious reasons. You aren’t using a controller to move your character and fire your gun, but here, you are using an avatar in which you are using your brain as the controller to move your ‘body’ around here.”

Cherry says, nodding her head in agreement, “That makes it far more ‘intense’ and puts even more strain on you because of the greater intensity.”

Leafa says, “You have a point. You move your avatar as if you are moving around your own body.”

Shizuka says, “And this is probably one reason why they have this kind of thing here. In fact, it might not just be GGO that has this kind of thing.”

Leafa says, “I wouldn’t be too surprised about that.” Leafa then yelps out as Menma touches a ‘sensitive spot’ causing her to say, flush, “Hey, Menma-kun, could you please watch it?”

Menma responds, “Sorry, Leafa-chan, but I can’t do that. Don’t worry. Just enjoy yourself.” Leafa then starts to moan out as Menma starts to do what can basically be called an ‘erotic massage’ causing waves of pleasure to go through Leafa.

May 30, 2026, Tokyo, Japan

Within Tokyo itself, we are head to what is a love hotel and inside of a large room with the largest kind of bed in Japan, known as King Long bed, where we find Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, Suguha, Katsuragi, Suzume, Homura, Haruka, Yomi, and Hikage are together where we find Suguha lying down on the bed in the same way that she, as Leafa, lied down on the bed in GGO, where Naruto is wearing a pair of boxers showing his own excellent muscular male frame while all of the females in the room, minus Suguha, lying down on the bed are wearing risqué female lingerie. On the meanwhile, Haruka is rubbing some kind of massaging lotion/gel across Suguha’s back.

Haruka says, with a sly smile, “I’m glad that you took the advice to try this out for real.”

Suguha moans out, with a flush in her cheeks, “I was…curious…I was distracted…by Naruto’s…and Hinata’s massaging…”

Homura says, with a grin, “Heh! I’m not surprised! He really knows how to bring out that stress!”

Suzume says, with a smile, “It is truly divine, Suguha-chan.”

Suguha says, as waves of pleasure start to go through her, “That smells…really sweet…”

Haruka says, with a wide sly grin, “Oh, it is one of my special blends.”

Hikage asks, curiously, “One of your blends?”

Haruka says, slyly, “Oh, yes. A very special blend.” Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, and Homura gain slight nervous looks at Haruka’s answer to Hikage’s question. Suguha then starts to moan out as a blissful way as a hazy look comes over her eyes.

Suguha moans out, “Something…is weird…”

Haruka says, slyly, “Oh, nothing is weird. It is just my lotion makes you very relaxed and your body ultra-sensitive.”

Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata give flabbergasted looks causing Sakura to think, “I knew it!”

Haruka asks Katsuragi, slyly, “Anyway, Katsuragi, would you like to see how sensitive?”

Katsuragi says, with a wide perverted grin, “Oh, yeah!”

Sakura says, seriously, “Oh no, you don’t! Hinata!” Immediately, Sakura and Hinata tackle Katsuragi in which Naruto points at Haruka in which before she could do anything, Homura, Hikage, and Yomi tackle Haruka off the bed in which Naruto creates many Shadow Clones to assist Sakura, Hinata, Homura, Hikage, and Yomi on ‘containing’ Haruka and Katsuragi while he and Suzume go over to Suguha with Suzume examining her.

Suzume says, with a sigh, “Oh, dear. Another of my dear student’s ‘poisons’. Don’t worry, it isn’t deadly or anything, but she is going to need ‘help’.”

Naruto says, with a groan, “I’m going to need to really repay her in the morning.”

Suzume says, with a grin, “Indeed, Naruto-kun.”

June 1, 2026, GGO

Returning to SBC Glocken, we find Menma, Cherry, Shizuka, and Leafa together as they prepare to head out.

Menma asks Leafa, “Are you going to be okay?”

Leafa responds, with a sigh, “Fine. I just feel like an idiot letting Haruka do that after knowing better.”

Sakura says, with a smile, “You aren’t the only one.”

Shizuka says, with a blush, “Y-Yes.”

Menma asks, with a smile, “Anyway, ready to get started?”

Leafa says, with a nod, “Okay!”

Menma says, “Anyway, we’ll start off in an easy area.”

Cherry says, “That’s a good idea. That will allow you to get used to GGO.”
Leafa says, with a smile, “Sounds good to me. Let’s go.” Menma, Cherry, and Shizuka nod their heads in agreement in which they head out to the ‘fields’ of GGO for Leafa to get practice into getting used to GGO.

(Later on)

Outside of SBC Glocken, out in the mainly desert wastelands of GGO, Menma, Cherry, Shizuka, and Leafa are hiding down in a trench as they avoid a storm of well-focused firepower from a group of six women wearing classic green and brown camo uniforms and wielding Russian/Soviet Cold War era guns.

Leafa says, nervously, “I thought that this was the easy area!”

Cherry says, nervously, “It is! How were we supposed to know that an elite Squad Jam team would be here? Man, what luck!”

Menma says, nervously, “No kidding, Cherry-chan! My usual good luck isn’t working for us today! SHINC of all teams! What a day!”

Leafa asks, curiously, “SHINC?”

Shizuka says, “They are an all-female team also known by the nickname ‘The Amazons’ and they use Russian guns of what you call the ‘Cold War’ era.”

Menma says, “And their teamwork is just awesome! Kakashi-sensei would have loved to have them! They would have killed it in teamwork missions and the teamwork portions of the Chunin Exams!”

Cherry says, with a nod, “No damn kidding, Menma! But right now, they are using that teamwork to make mincemeat out of us!”

Shizuka says, “We also need to watch out for their anti-tank rifle! They used it to defeat M’s powerful shield that he is known for!”

Menma says, nodding his head in agreement, “No joke, Shizuka-chan! Just because that it is old doesn’t mean that it is useless! And if it sends heavy metal shields flying, it can turn a player into sushi with just one shot!”

As Menma and his group continue to fire back to keep SHINC contained, Leafa asks, “So, what do you think that they are doing here?”

Menma says, with a shrug, “Who knows, Leafa-chan? It could be possible that they are training for the next Squad Jam.”

Cherry says, “Most likely. After what happened with the first two Squad Jams, it is really likely…” Cherry says, with a serious tone, “But that’s not important right now! We have to get out of this situation!” On the meanwhile, SHINC, using perfect teamwork, keeps Menma’s group on the defensive.

One of them, a blond haired member, tells a burly dark skinned member, “We’ve got them, Boss!”

The burly dark skinned member of the group responds, “Don’t let your guard down, Anna! They don’t seem like newbies to me!”

A lovely black haired and blue eyed member says, “We’ve got them pinned!”

The burly dark skinned member tells a burly brown haired member, “Sophie, you and Roza keep up the fire! Tanya and I are ready to go in!”

The burly brown haired member responds, “You got it, Boss!” The burly brown haired member, Sophie, and black haired member continue focused fire with their machine guns while two other members, obviously snipers, use their scopes to make sure that if Menma, Cherry, Shizuka, and/or Leafa make the mistake of looking up from their trench that are covered by rockets in front of them, they would get hit by a sniper’s bullet as burly dark skinned member, Boss, prepares to assault with the final member, Tanya, who has short silver hair.

Menma says, “Cherry-chan, up and over!”

Cherry says, “I need a good idea on where they are, so I don’t give them a bullet line!” Menma takes out what looks like a primitive periscope and he pokes above the trench in which he gets a good look before it is destroyed by snipers of SHINC, but it is too late.

Menma yells out, “Three hundred and fifty meters away from your nine o’clock!”

Cherry says, with a grin, “Got it!” Cherry then brings an M79 grenade launcher, pops in a grenade, and without using the bullet circle at all, Cherry fires it in the direction of SHINC in which, since she didn’t use the bullet circle at all add to the fact that SHINC doesn’t see Cherry to take the shot, there is NO bullet line to give them warning until the grenade was on top of them in which when it denotates, it unleashes a powerful burst of plasma that hits all members of SHINC despite them being spread around to prevent them from getting damaged from explosive projectile, namely a grenade. The virtual dust and dirt sent flying covers a large area in which it is so much that Leafa, Menma, Cherry, and Shizuka duck down and hold their breaths, despite them not needing to due to the fact that it is virtual world and all, when the dust cloud reaches them. A short time afterwards, the dust cloud recedes away from Leafa, Menma, Cherry, and Shizuka, who are covered in a good amount of virtual dust and dirt, in which they sit up to shake it off.

Leafa asks, confused, “What was that?”

Cherry says, with a grenade, “A extra-special plasma grenade. You can’t buy this kind. You have to make it yourself. And getting the items needed to make it is a real bitch.”

Menma says, excitedly, “Great job! We’ll take care of the rest!” Menma looks at Shizuka causing her to nod where Shizuka takes out of her inventory what looks like a German World War II Goliath UGV, unnamed ground vehicle, namely an ‘old-fashion’ remote controlled vehicle in which Menma sets up a Claymore mine on it. They quickly sent it rolling towards the location of SHINC with Leafa looking on in amazement.

Leafa asks, amazed, “What is that?”

Cherry says, with a sly smile, “An old fashion remote control vehicle. They just added this stuff recently and like those grenades, you need to get the stuff to build that thing. It is also heavy as heck and not like the modern days ones IRL.”

Menma says, with a grin while holding a remote control for the Claymore, “But they can be useful when used right!” Soon enough, the Goliath arrives in front of the area where SHINC was hit by Cherry’s special plasma grenade, the dust and dirt dispel to reveal that two of their members got ‘killed’ with the remaining four suffering some form of significant damage including their leader, Boss.

Boss, who has suffered major damage to her HP and still recovering from the shock, asks, “W-What the…?!” However, she and the remaining members of SHINC are caught off-guard as the Claymore attached to the front of the Goliath explodes in which they are showered with multiple steel spheres causing their HP to run out nearly instantly causing them to shatter into hundreds of digital polygons.

Leafa says, with a sigh, “Well, that was close.”

Cherry says, “Maybe not for long. There might be other teams out there nearby and most likely, they heard all this stuff.”

Menma says, “Good point, Cherry. Time to bring in the stuff and find another hiding spot.”

Shizuka says, with a nod, “Right.” Shizuka returns the old-fashion UGV back to her inventory and the group starts to head off to a spot to hide and observe if any other teams are approaching due to the fighting between our group and team SHINC. A short time soon after, it seems like Menma’s ‘hunch’ is right when the famous/infamous winners of the second Squad Jam, T-S, in their futuristic armor and wielding sci-fi IRL style weapons, coming up on the battlefield.

One of them says, “It looks like we missed everything.”

Another one says, “Watch it. They might be nearby.” That member of T-S don’t know how right that was because some distance away from a high-rise, Cherry and Shizuka, were watching them with Shizuka using a skill known as Hawk Eye combined with a pair of binoculars, to get a good look at them while Shizuka has her M79 grenade launcher at the ready.

Shizuka tells Cherry, “Four hundred meters at ten o’clock.”

Cherry says, with a nod, “Got it. Thanks, Shizuka.” Cherry then fires another grenade, this one a regular explosive one, with using the bullet circle in which T-S sees the bullet line.

When they see the bullet line, one of them yells out, “Grenade!”

Another one shouts out, “Move!” They immediately run as fast as they can in one direction and manage to avoid the explosion, but the instant they stop, Leafa and Menma emerge from right in front of them, draw out photon swords, and quickly cut down the veteran Squad Jam team without too much trouble due to the fact that their photon swords are so powerful add to the element of complete surprise that Leafa and Menma had on them.

After they are done, Leafa says, with a sigh of relief, “That was close.”

Menma says, with a smile, “Yep, but my plan worked!”

Leafa asks, “Since they went in the direction that you said that they would, but how did you know?”

Menma says, pointing in that direction, “There are quite a few ‘pitfalls’ in that direction if you get my meaning.”

Leafa says, with a nod of understanding, “Oh.”

Menma says, “Anyway, let’s get moving.”

Just then Shizuka’s voice is heard coming from an earpiece in the left ear of Menma’s avatar saying, “Menma-kun, we have a situation. I’m using my binoculars and spotting another team coming up.”

Menma responds, pushing on the earpiece, “Do you have an idea which one?”

Shizuka responds, via the communication earpiece, “It is another Squad Jam team. It is those machine gun fanatics: ZEMAL.”

Menma says, with a groan, “Crap.”

Leafa asks Menma, “What is it?”

Menma tells Leafa, “It is another Squad Jam team: ZEMAL. It is short for ‘Zen-Nihoh Machine Gun Lovers’. They are machine gun fanatics. They were one of the first teams knocked out of the first Squad Jam, but in the second one, they kicked butt and only lost to the team that we just beat due to them having gotten lucky to get an edge in high ground that they couldn’t see.”

Leafa says, nervously, “Wow.”

Menma says, “They seem like meatballs, but I remember that American reality show that proved this saying was a myth: ‘Old days can’t learn new tricks’. (A/N: Yes, I am a fan of the reality show ‘MythBusters’, thank you.) These guys seem to follow that. They seem to learn new tricks.”

Leafa says, nervously, “Oh, boy.”

Menma says, with a sly smile, “They might be able to ‘adapt’ and ‘grow’, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t do that faster, Leafa-chan.”

Leafa asks Menma, “You have an idea?”

Menma says, with a grin, “Yep. One that they would expect.”

(A good time afterwards)

Later on, we find Leafa, Menma, Cherry, and Shizuka, seemly once again, pinned down, but this time, under relentless fire from the machine guns of ZEMAL, the machine gun fanatic squad, who are have strange ‘backpacks’ that are allowing them to continuous feed of ammunition in which their only problem is the overheating of their barrels due to their constant firing, but they make sure that not all of them have to change their machine gun’s barrels, which is easy since they are using modern-day machine guns with what’s known as a ‘quick-change barrel’, allowing them to change barrels in mere seconds, at once. They are also in a formation to fire at our foursome team in different directions to completely cover their location as well as make sure that they have interlocking fire where one of them can cover another in which their opponents can’t face one of them without getting ‘flanked’ by another. If it wasn’t the fact that Leafa, Menma, Cherry, and Shizuka were huddled under a rise with a pile of scrap metal as a protective shield that the four of them weren’t shot to pieces.

Menma says, “Needless to say, they have indeed learned their lessons.”

Cherry tells Menma, annoyed, “This isn’t the time to be impressed!”

Leafa says, nervously and irritated, “Yeah, since we are getting shot to pieces!”

Shizuka says, nervously, “We’re okay. The pile of metal and we are huddled under a rise.”

Leafa says, nervously, “It won’t matter if they rush us! The piles of junk keep us from getting flanked, but we can’t do anything against them without getting a bullet to the face.”

Menma says, bringing out the remote that he used with the Claymore mine, “We don’t need to look up for this!” Menma pushes the button on the remote and then multiple hidden Claymore mines hidden under the sand in-between our group and ZEMAL explode causing all of them to get pepped by a TON of steel balls causing all of them to lose their HP nearly instantly causing them to shatter into hundreds of data pixels. After that, Menma and his group look up in which Cherry stares at Menma with an annoyed look.

Cherry tells Menma, annoyed, “Couldn’t you have told us about that sooner?”

Menma says, with a nervous smile, “Sorry, I had to work fast, and I don’t have ninja skills in this VRMMO, you know? Despite being able to be ‘super-human’ here, we aren’t at the level back home.”

Cherry says, with a sigh, “Yeah, good point.”

Leafa says, with a nervous smile, “That’s probably a good thing since players would complain that you are BEYOND OP.”

Menma says, with a grin, “Good point, Leafa-chan. And personally, what kind of challenge would that be? A good challenge is what makes a game fun!”

Cherry says, with a smirk, “You have a point.”

Shizuka says, with a warm smile, “Games are meant to be enjoyed.”

Leafa says, with a sigh, “Wish that everyone else thought so.”

Menma tells Leafa, “Whoa! Don’t go there, Leafa-chan! You’ve got to get all that crap with SAO, Ordinal Scale, and that so-called ‘former friend’, who I don’t think was your friend at all, with that Neo Paradius off your mind!”

Shizuka tells Leafa, “Menma-kun is right. This is game after all.”

Cherry says, “Though there are others ‘playing’ more ‘intensely’ than others.”

Leafa says, with a nod, “That’s for sure.”

Menma says, “Anyway, let’s continue on and try to enjoy ourselves.”

Leafa says, with a nod, “Okay.”

June 1, 2026, GGO, SBC Glocken

Returning to within SBC Glocken, we return to the bar that Sinon, Dai, and Akari met Leafa, Menma, Cherry, and Shizuka where they find said foursome arriving on the scene.

Dai says, with a smile, “Hey, you guys!”

Leafa says, with a sigh, “Hey, yourself, Dai.”

Akari asks, curiously, “Something happen?”

Shizuka says, “It has been an ‘interesting day’.”

Cherry says, “Interesting that we got some nice ‘training’ this afternoon with a nasty PvP battles in the morning.”

Dai says, nervously, “Yipe.”

Leafa says, sarcastically, “No kidding. And it was ‘nice’ when we battled three Squad Jam veteran teams.”

Sinon asks, curiously, “Really?”

Cherry responds, with a nod, “No kidding.”

Dai asks, curiously, “Which teams that you fought.”

Shizuka says, “SHINC, T-S, and ZEMAL.”

Dai says, nervously, “Yipe.”

Cherry says, “Well, it would be with SHINC and ZEMAL, but T-S, it was really easy.”

Shizuka says, with a kind smile, “That’s only because we got the drop on them like they did on ZEMAL back in the second Squad Jam.”

Akari says, “It sounds like you’ve had quite a day.”

Leafa says, with a sigh, “Yeah, it was.”

Menma tells Leafa, “Come on, it wasn’t bad, was it?”
Leafa says, with a light smile, “Actually, you’re right. It was kind of fun.”

Menma says, with a grin, “There you go!”

Dai says, with a smile, “While GGO doesn’t have the light-heartedness of MMO games like ALO, it is still fun in its own right.”

Leafa says, with a grin, “Yeah, you have a point, but I wish that they would make a futuristic VRMMO that’s like the futuristic stuff like you see with Rockman.”

Cherry asks Leafa, curiously, “You want a VRMMO based on the ‘robot overlord’ theme like those American Terminator movies?”

Leafa gives Cherry a very irritated look causing Shizuka to say, with a nervous smile, “I don’t think that’s what Leafa-chan meant Cherry-chan.”

Menma asks Sinon, “How did your training go?”

Sinon says, with a nod, “Okay. I feel like I have improved.”
Dai says, with a grin, “She is ready for the next Bullet of Bullets.”

Menma says, plainly, “I don’t know…”

Akari asks, curiously, “What’s up?”

Menma says, plainly, “It is just a feeling, but that guy really doesn’t sit right with me for one thing. For another, I’ve seen the footage of what happened between the three of you in the very first Bullet of Bullets. It took the two of you to take him down and you BARELY managed to beat him.”

Cherry says, nodding her head, “No joke. You just managed to scrap together a victory against him in a two-on-one situation. And most likely, he is even deadlier than before.”

Sinon says, nodding her head in agreement, “Agreed. I have taken that situation into account and I am preparing for it.”

Menma says, with a nod, “That’s good…”

Dai asks Menma, curiously, “But…?”

Menma says, plainly, “I think that he is some kind of professional…professional in the ways of combat.”

Dai tells Menma, “Not surprising that you would realize that, bro. Akari and I feel the same.”

Sinon says, with a plain tone, “I don’t think that’s too surprising. The way that he fought shows that he is a combat professional and he has been able to apply it here in GGO.”

Akari says, “There is also something else.”

Shizuka asks Akari, “Something else?”

Akari says, a bit nervously, “Something about him…disturbs me.”

Leafa asks, confused, “Disturbs you?”

Dai says, nodding his head in agreement, “Yeah, I get what Kari-chan is saying. Something about that guy seems…off.”

Sinon asks, curiously, “What do you mean by ‘off’?”

Shizuka then says, interrupting to change the subject, “Let’s try not to talk about such ‘scary stuff’. We are trying to help Leafa-chan have a good time here.”

Akari says, with a kind smile, “Yes, you have a point.”

Dai says, with a wide smirk, “Maybe you should tell us about your ‘personal Squad Jam’ then.” Leafa gives a nervous look at that while Shizuka gives her a reassuring pat on the back.

June 1, 2026, Tokyo, Japan

Within an apartment complex somewhere within Tokyo, Japan, we are inside of one of the apartment homes of the complex where we find a young Japanese woman with short black hair and blue eyes in which she is a tall for a Japanese woman being a bit over 180 centimeters tall in height in which while she dressed plain and unfeminine in style, she is a lovely young Japanese woman. Right now, this woman is sitting in front of a computer on table with her hands on a smartphone with a nervous look on her face.

A young girl’s voice comes over the phone shouting out, “Then after they used that super plasma grenade, they blasted us with a mine on top of some kind of remote controlled vehicle! I didn’t know that they had those in GGO!”

The tall young woman says, nervously, “Neither did I, Boss…I mean Saki!”

The young girl shouts out, “And I wasn’t the only one that they defeated, Karen!”

The tall young woman says, nervously, “So I’ve heard…”

The young girl, Saki, tells the tall young woman, Karen, over the phone, shocked, “Really?”

Karen replies, nervously, “They have it posted here in an article in MMO Stream.”

Saki yells out, flabbergasted, “Seriously?! How they did get the information out so fast?!”

Karen says, nervously, “I wonder about that too…”

Saki shouts out, “Just you wait, Karen! Next time, we’re going to take them down! Maybe you should log in and show them how the winner of the first Squad Jam as well as the cheated winner of the second Squad Jam kicks butt!”

Karen replies, nervously, “Sorry, not today.”

Saki responds, disappointed, “Oh, man!” Saki then says, with a sigh, “Well, you are a college girl and you have things to do. Well, I hope if there is a third Squad Jam, I hope to see you there! Later!” Before Karen could say anything, Saki disconnects the line in which Karen ‘hangs up’ her smartphone.

Karen says, “I don’t know…” Karen then looks on her computer screen where it is displaying an article from MMO Stream: ‘Mini-Squad Jam Shocker! Three veteran teams blown away!’ As Karen looks at the screen, she says, in a low voice, “I wonder who they were to defeat them…”

End of Story
