With the newest installment in these one-shot stories of my fanfiction, I have to say that, once again, I have been inspired by the Memory Defrag mobile game and its idea for ‘crossover events’ with crossing Sword Art Online with different anime/video games. However, unlike them, I’m going to make sure that I make my own crossovers. You must be thinking: This is already a crossover story series, right? Well…Actually, I think that you should read and you’ll get the idea, folks! No spoilers, sorry! Now, before I start, I must give thanks and credit to Belletiger and Kanius as well as Kanius’ YuYuGiDigiMoon fanfiction series, especially his The Invasion of the Rajita story, for giving me permission to use the idea of Valkyrie Sailor Soldiers and everything that’s a part of them in my fanfiction. Prelude: A castle of stone and metal floating in the sky that consist of one hundred floors. Within this massive structure, there are countless cities, villages, towns, forests, plains, lakes, and whatever you can imagine. There is only one staircase that connects one floor with another, and these staircases are located within dangerous mazes filled with monsters. The players with navigate through these floors to the top with nothing than the weapons in their hands. And yes, I said players.

This is the world of Aincrad, a floating castle in a virtual sky, and yes, I said VIRTUAL sky. This world and this floating castle world are in a realm made of digital information…the world of Sword Art Online. A world that was supposed to be game, but because a nightmare prison when its creator, Akihiko Kayaba, trapped the ten thousand players within this virtual world and if they die here, they will die in real life. The ten thousand players struggle in this ‘game death’ to reach the top of the floating castle where the final boss and the key to their freedom waits.

You may know this story and the stories that come after it, but do you know all the stories? All the tales that happened within the floating castle? What about the tales that happened after the floating castle was conquered? There are stories connected to the ‘tale’ of this floating castle, its ‘history’, and its ‘aftermath’, but they weren’t told…until now. These are those stories…

Story 37: ALO Crossover Mania 1: Fairy Goddesses Online

Note: This story takes place in-between World’s Song and SAO Beyond.

January 2026, ALO, Svart Alfheim, Alne

Today, in Svart Alfheim, we find a familiar group consisting of Kirito, Asuna, Philia, Lisbeth, Sinon, Strea, Yuuki, Leafa, Arashi, Hime, Megumi, Takeru, Minako, and Usagi assembled together along the roads of Alne, the ‘capital’, more like main ‘player center’, of Svart Alfheim.

Minako asks, curiously, “Really?”

Kirito says, nodding his head with a plain tone, “Yes, Minako. Argo confirmed this. It seems like ‘strange monsters’ are appearing in Wellgunde.”

Megumi says, “I’m taking a wild guess that Argo wants you to investigate these ‘strange monsters’.”

Kirito gives a slight nervous look causing Usagi to say, “Got it in one.” Usagi tells Kirito, with a sigh, “How did Argo convince you this time?”

Asuna says, nervously, “Actually, it was me.” Everyone else, minus Kirito, looks at Asuna in surprise causing Asuna to say, with a nervous tone, “Argo offered information on a really rare item that I have been wanting…” Asuna makes motions with her hands similar to what Hime does IRL as Hinata Hyuga.

Minako says, slyly, “Oh my! I never thought that I see the day!”

Lisbeth says, with a sigh, “I have to admit that I’m shocked.”

Sinon says, “If these are monsters that no one has seen before, it could be an update and new monsters may include new rare items.”

Yuuki says, excitedly, “Ooh, it sounds like fun!”

Hime says, with a warm smile, “I’m not surprised that you are excited about that Yuuki-chan.”

Yuuki says, with a grin, “You bet I am! Hopefully, there will be some really exciting and tough enemies!”

Kirito says, with a smile, “Well, that’s really not surprising.”

Minako says, with a grin, “I’m with Yuuki! I’m sure that it will be a blast!”

Usagi says, with a sigh, “I hope so.”

Leafa tells Usagi, “Come on, Usagi, I’m sure that it will be fine.”

Usagi says, “I know, Leafa. But ever since we got back from Kingdom Hearts and we stopped Seven’s experiment…”

Kirito tells Usagi, with a nod, “We know, Usagi. While it is nothing like our journeys across worlds after we escaped SAO, it has been a roller coaster for the past three months or so.”

Megumi says, nodding her head, “And it looks like things are going to be ‘bumpy’ for a while based on the intelligence that we are getting.”

Minako says, excitedly, “That’s why we should have fun here and not overthink things!”

Takeru says, with a smile, “You have a point, Mina-chan. While we should be on guard due to the signs that we are seeing, we shouldn’t be bringing IRL here.”

Arashi says, with a nod and smile, “Believe it!”

Hime says, nodding her head, “You’re right, Arashi-kun.”

Strea says, excitedly, “So, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” Strea then grabs Kirito by one of his arms and drags him to the teleportation gate.

Kirito yelps out, nervously, “Strea! H-Hey!” However, Kirito can’t break Strea’s powerful grip as she drags him to the teleportation gate.

Yuuki says, excitedly, “Yeah, let’s go!” Yuuki follows Strea and Kirito with Asuna rushing off after them.

Asuna says, nervously, “Hold on! Yuuki-chan! Strea-chan! Wait up!” Asuna rushes after Yuuki, Strea, and Kirito while the others can’t help to smile at this for very different reasons.

Minako says, with a grin, “Well, let’s follow their lead.”

Takeru says, with a smile, “Whatever you say, Mina-chan.” However, he yelps as Takeru is yanked by Minako via one of Takeru’s arms to follow Asuna, Yuuki, Strea, and Kirito with the others following behind soon afterwards.

January 2026, ALO, Svart Alfheim, Wellgunde

Now, we find our group within the land mass of Svart Alfheim known as Wellgunde, the Valley of Sand where they are walking through the vast desert and massive rocky mountain fields where they are heading for a certain location.

Usagi asks Kirito and Asuna, “Where are these ‘strange monsters’ are supposed to be?”

Kirito says, “Based on what Argo said, they should be around here.”

Strea shouts out, pointing at a location, “Ooh, I see them!” Everyone looks towards where Strea is pointing and their eyes widen at what they see. The monsters in the distance don’t look like typical ALO monsters. The monsters look like slime monsters, but not ALO style slime monsters where they look like red colored cartoon drop-like slime monsters with dog-like ears and tails with cartoon canine faces on them.

Hime asks, curiously, “Are those the monsters?”

Philia says, shocked and amazed, “I guess so…”

Minako asks, curiously, “Doesn’t those monsters look familiar?”

Sinon says, with a plain tone, “Those are monsters from Gamindustri. I believe they are known as Dogoo I believe.”

Asuna says, nervously, “Not them again!”

Usagi says, with a blush, “Don’t remind me, Asuna.”

Kirito says, his eyes narrowing, “However, I would like to know what real-life monsters from another universe are doing in ALO.”

Takeru says, seriously, “You have a point, Kirito. What are they doing here? Gamindustri might be a game-like world, but it is IRL and not a virtual world.”

Lisbeth says, with a sigh, “Oh, boy. So much for a simple quest.”

Megumi says, “We should have Yui check the system.”

Kirito says, “Good idea.”

But then Leafa asks, her ears perking up, “Hold on, do you hear something?”

Usagi asks, curiously, “No, I don’t. What’s up?”

Kirito says, seriously, “It might be due to Leafa’s Sylph hearing ability.”

But then everyone hears a feminine yelp causing Asuna to yell out, “I hear it now!”

Philia says, concerned, “It sounded like someone screaming!”

Just then a female voice yells out, “Watch out! Watch out! Watch out!”

Everyone looks around for the source of the voice, not seeing anyone around, in which Minako asks, curiously, “Hold up, doesn’t that voice sound familiar?”

The familiar female voice screams out, “Hey, look out below!” Everyone then looks up only for a group of ‘objects’ to crash down right on Kirito and Arashi with a massive ‘thud’!

Asuna shouts out, shocked, “Kirito-kun!”

Philia yells out, worriedly, “Oh no, Kirito!”

Usagi says, worriedly, “Kirito!”

Leafa says, worriedly, “Big brother! Arashi-kun!”

Megumi says, fearfully, “Arashi-kun!”

Lisbeth shouts out, flabbergasted, “What the heck was that?!” As the smoke, dust, and sand clear up, everyone can see what or who landed right on Kirito and Arashi, who are on the bottom of a pile of eight familiar young girls/ladies.

The first young lady is a teenage girl of her early teens with short lilac hair that goes down her collar bone with white mixed with gold hair-clips are that are in the shapes of a shield, wide violet eyes, in which she has on a white and blue vest mixed with a dress and a breastplate, white gauntlets and contrasting black finger-less gloves on her arms and hands, and her footwear consists of white greaves decorated with a wing accessory on her knees that extend to her thighs. Also, her hair pins and armor has crosses laced with diamonds all over it.

The second young lady is a teenage girl of mid to late teen years with long black hair done in twin long pigtails held together by black and red ribbons with a flower in the center, ruby red eyes, and she is wearing black sleeveless dress with red outlines and black armor on top. She has black gauntlets on her arms and black greaves reaching up to her thighs, where underneath her greaves are black knee socks, and she has a long black lance in her hands.

The third young lady looks to be a pre-teen child-like girl with short brown hair with a white puffy hat, blue eyes, and she is wearing blue and white dress with a big red ribbon on her collar, brown leather guards, a brown belt on her waist, brown sandals and white knee socks that reach up to her thighs. In her hands is a specter that priests in RPG games uses.

The fourth young lady looks to be a young adult woman with long flowing waist long blond hair with flowers and leaves in her hair as hair ornaments, beautiful blue eyes, and she is wearing a short green and white sleeveless silky mini-skirt decorated with a golden leaf and flower pattern, below her shoulders are white clothes wrapped elegantly as sleeves, her right arm has on two bracelets held together by an X with her left arm and thigh is a plant shaped bracelet, and her on her feet, there are brown boots. Overall, her outfit shows a gorgeous female super-model figure.

The fifth young lady looks to be a teen girl of mid to late teenage years with long flowing lilac hair, same color as the first teen girl, white shield ornament in her hair along with a dark blue and brown black mage’s hat with a blue butterfly clip attached to the left side of the hat, violet eyes, and she is wearing dark blue and brown dress like those used by female black mages in RPG games with on her neck is a red neck cloth with a moon-shaped pin attached to it, brown gloves on her feet, and she indigo boots that reach up to her ankles. In her hands is a ‘witch’s broom’.

The next young lady is a young teenage girl of the same years as the second and fifth young ladies with messy black hair in messy twin pigtails with a pair of goggles on her scalp, ruby red eyes, and wearing quite a skimpy outfit with a blue and white bikini top that has black outlines where there is a loose fitting orange jacket over that, a miniskirt that is also blue and white, her hands are black finger-less gloves, on her waist is a belt,  brown socks are decorated with a band that has 3 pointed rings on it, with the socks going thigh high, and on her feet, there are brown fur boots.

The seventh young lady is a young girl of elementary school/pre-teen years with short brown hair that has a violet bow attached to the rear of her skirt, blue eyes, and she is wearing something akin to a samurai outfit with a white and purple kimono that transitions into a skirt with said kimono is protected with a black breastplate and ornate shoulder guards, she has on blue dark blue guards on her arms, her skirt is held up by a purple sash decorated with a pink flower, and she wears thigh high suneate protected with black knee guards, where underneath which are white socks. Attached to the left side of her skirt, there is a scabbard for a long samurai style sword.

The final young lady is another young girl of pre-teen years, equal in age to the seventh young lady of the group, with long brown hair tied in a ponytail held red ribbon with golden shuriken embroidered into the ribbon, blue eyes, and her outfit is akin to a shinobi/ninja with a silky purple neck scarf that transitions to red at the edges held with a five petal yellow flower pin,  a sleeveless red kimono held with a brown obi and string, underneath which are bandages, next are shorts that have diamond holes in them, her arms are covered red and dark brown finger-less gloves with her right glove having a frog accessory, and her footwear is a mix of flips and boots in matching the rest of her outfit. On her right leg are bandages which seems to serve as a sock.

The blond haired young woman says, “My. Oh my. That was unusual.”

The black haired young lady with the lance yells out, annoyed, “Unusual? That’s not supposed to happen when you use a teleport gate!”

The young pre-teen dressed like a samurai says, in a meek tone, “That was scary.”

The young pre-teen dressed like a ninja yells out, “Don’t worry, Rom! Remember, this is VR! We can’t get really hurt here!”

The black haired teen girl in the skimpy outfit says, “Well, that felt pretty real! Not like I couldn’t take such a fall! It is just that seem quite real!”

Asuna says, nervously, “Excuse me…” The eight young ladies then focus their attention on our heroes and heroines.

The long violet haired teen girl says, “Oh, hello.”

Lisbeth says, seriously, “Hello yourself, Nepgear!”

The long violet haired teen girl asks, curiously, “Have we met?”

Plenty of the others are surprised causing Lisbeth to say, a bit annoyed, “Have we met? How could you…?”

However, Asuna tells Lisbeth, “Liz, we don’t exactly look like we do when we met Neptune and the others.”

The short lilac haired teen girl shouts out, “That’s me! Star of my franchise and one of the MCs for this fic!”

Leafa says, with a sigh, “That’s Neptune all right.”

The black haired young lady with the lance asks short lilac haired teen girl, revealed to be Neptune, one of the CPU, goddesses leaders of the nations of the world of Gamindustri, “How do these people know you, Neptune?”

Minako asks, seriously, “How can you forget us, Noire?” Minako asks, curiously, “Oh, yeah! By the way, is your Gamindustri floating in the sky or on the ocean?”

The black haired young lady with the lance, none other than Noire, CPU of Lastation, responds, “Of course it is on the ocean! Were you dropped on your head when you were a baby or something?”

Neptune says, nervously, “Yipe! I thought that Blanc had attitude.” The young girl looking lady in the RPG priestess outfit glares at Neptune with an annoyed glare.

Usagi asks, nervously, “Do you remember leaving Gamindustri and arriving at another world where you went with a group of people ending up helping them save the multiverse at a place known as the Keyblade Graveyard where there was a floating castle named Aincrad there?”

The newcomers give looks of shock with the young girl dressed ninja garb yells out, “Hey, how do you know that?”

The blond haired young woman responds, with a warm smile, “That’s simple, Ram. That’s because these are some of our comrades and new friends that we made.” The blond haired young woman says, pointing to Usagi and Asuna, “Despite the pointed ears and difference in hair color, these must be Serena and Asuna.”

The other CPU/CPU Candidate gasp in shock causing Asuna to say, with a smile, “That’s right.”

The blond haired young woman, none other than Vert, CPU of Leanbox, responds, “I knew it! I could never forget those wonderful hairstyles, those lovely faces, and those gorgeous bodies of yours. I must say that blue looks good on both of you.”

Asuna and Usagi blush causing Usagi to say, nervously, “T-Thanks, Vert.”

Leafa says, nervously while pointing at ground/sand, “By the way…” When the CPU/CPU Candidates look down, they find Kirito and Arashi ‘poking out’ of the ‘pile’ with Arashi tapping his fingers in the sand.

Arashi asks, a bit annoyed, “Could you mind getting off us?”

The long violet haired teen girl dressed like an RPG female black mage yelps out, “Goodness! Sorry!” Immediately, the CPU and CPU Candidates get off Kirito and Arashi.

The ninja dressed young girl, Ram, one of twin CPU Candidates of Lowee, yells out, a bit annoyed, “Hey, what were you doing down there?”

Kirito says, plainly, “You dropped in on us, Ram.”

Arashi says, plainly, “Quite literally.”

Nepgear says, nervously, “We’re sorry!”

Noire asks, looking around, “Where the heck is this?”

As Asuna and Leafa help Kirito and Arashi to their feet, Hime says, “You are in the VRMMO world of Alfheim Online. We call it ALO for short.”

Neptune asks, surprised, “Say what?”

Vert says, looking around, “So this is the virtual world that you told us about during our journey together? It is more…sandy that I thought it would be.”

Noire says, plainly, “This is just one part of this place…” Noire then yells out, with an annoyed tone, “By the way, Vert, don’t you think that we’ve been transported to another VRMMO ‘world’…THAT’S IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE ALL TOGETHER?!”
Vert says, with a curious tone, “You are right, Noire. That’s strange, indeed.”

Noire gives an exasperated look while Sinon says, plainly, “That’s a good point. By the way, it sounds like you have managed to get your own Full-Dive VR technology.”

Nepgear says, with a nod, “Yes, we did! After we returned back home to Gamindustri, I started work on improving my prototype VR device with the knowledge that you gave me. And soon enough, it was improved and able to be mass produced to be sold to the public.”

Vert says, with a smile, “No one of us, especially yours truly, were going to be left behind in which we managed to work out our own VR technology soon enough for our respective nations.”

The young girl dressed like a priest, none other than Blanc, CPU of Lowee and ‘older’ sister of Ram, says, in her classic quite tone, “With the information on programming that you have given us, we had quickly developed our own VR games especially VRMMO games. We developed ones special to our own nations though we can play each other’s games due to the fact that we use practically the same programming, so, we don’t need to use different VR systems to play all of the VR games that we developed.”

Usagi says, with a smile, “That sounds wonderful, Blanc!”

Neptune says, “Yep! And then all of us came together to develop an international VR games based on the best MMO game of our world: Four Goddesses Online.”

Vert says, with a warm smile, “Ah, it was a dream come true. I’ve so hoped for the day that I could ‘enter’ my favorite gate and when it went to beta, I knew that my life was complete…for the moment anyway.”

Asuna asks, “So, these are your player avatars for the game?”

Nepgear says, with a nod, “Yes, that’s right.”

The black haired young teen girl with goggles, none other than Uni, Noire’s younger sister and CPU Candidate of Lastation, then says, “Can I interrupt here? My sister has a good point to ask about what the heck we are doing in a VRMMO game in another universe.”

Kirito asks, curiously, “How did you get here?”

Noire says, with a shrug, “You’ve got us! We had just accepted a quest and we headed out, but something went wrong with the teleport gate and…”

Kirito says, interrupting Noire, “We get the idea.”

Arashi says, rubbing the back of his head, “We sure did.”

Vert says, “Well, we are still in the beta testing of the game.”

Nepgear says, nervously, “I don’t think that the typical bugs found people being transported into other VRMMO games especially ones in another universe.”

Leafa says, with a nod, “Yeah. That’s not exactly…common.”
Megumi says, “That’s one way of putting it.”

Sinon says, pointing to the red colored Dogoo in the distance, “Plus, it isn’t just you that’s come here.”

Everyone looks at the Dogoo causing Vert to say, “Yes, it would seem so.”

Kirito says, “So, the game that you are beta testing has monsters based on your world’s monsters.”

Nepgear says, with a nod, “Yes. The monsters in the game are based on monsters in our world IRL. We figured that familiarity would help and plus, plenty of the players are also members of the guild, so, the game could help in training since they are using their brains to move their avatars and not a controller in front of a screen.”

Kirito says, nodding his head in agreement, “I can see why VR could be a good training in your world.”

Lisbeth says, “Doesn’t explain why they are here in our world!”

Philia asks, curiously, “How did this happen?”

Kirito says, “That’s a good question.” Kirito asks Nepgear, “By the way, does your VRMMO game use a system similar to our world?”

Nepgear says, with a nod, “Yes, it does. We were inspired by your Cardinal System and we developed our own system that can manage our games in a similar manner. We call it the ‘Avalon System’.”

Kirito says, plainly, “Interesting name.”

Just then Yui, in her pixie form, appears from behind Asuna where she says, “I see. That must be what I’m detecting.”

Neptune says, “Ooh, a talking pixie!”

Asuna asks Yui, “What is it, Yui?”

Yui says, “It seems like that ALO is connected to another VRMMO and based on the data, it must be this ‘Avalon System’ that Nepgear mentioned.”

Sinon says, plainly, “That means that ALO and their VRMMO are connected.”

Yui says, nodding her head, “I believe so, but that’s causing a problem. The systems that their world are using to run their VRMMO games are similar to the Cardinal System, but there are enough difference in which each system sees the other as a ‘foreign entity’.”

Philia asks, curiously, “Foreign entity?”

Kirito says, worried tone in his voice, “Like a ‘bug’, ‘virus’, or an illegal hack of some kind.”

Yui says, nodding her head, “That’s right, Daddy. And we need to find a way to separate them before they destroy each other.”

There are gasps of shock causing Leafa to ask, shocked, “Destroy each other?”

Kirito says, nervously, “Most likely due to their auto-correction systems trying to ‘correct’ the ‘bug’ in which since both systems are similar, which means they are just as advanced, might cause them to self-destruct due them trying to ‘correct’ each other.”

Minako asks, worriedly, “Isn’t there anything that we can do?”

Yui says, “I believe so. There is a new quest formed by this ‘union’ that could be the key to all this.”

Usagi asks, curiously, “A new quest?”

Yui says, pointing towards the red colored Dogoo, “Yes, Auntie Usagi. We have to go that way.”

Neptune says, drawing out her sword, “Well, what are we waiting for? This story isn’t going tell itself! That’s the author’s job! Let’s do this!” Before anyone could stop her, Neptune charges in for the attack.

Asuna says, worriedly, “Neptune!”

Noire says, with a plain tone, “Don’t bother.”

Blanc says, with a nod, “Agreed. That’s how Neptune is.”

Yuuki says, excitedly, “Come on, let’s go!”

Strea says, excitedly, “Yeah!” Strea and Yuuki run off with plenty of the others giving nervous looks.

Takeru says, nervously, “Not to say that we don’t have plenty of the same in our group.”

Lisbeth says, with a sigh, “No kidding.”

Noire says, with a groan, “This is going to be a long day.”

Kirito says, nervously, “Something tells me that you are right, Noire.” Plenty of the others can’t help to nod their heads in agreement with Kirito as all of them then follow Neptune, Strea, and Yuuki as the three of them start to attack the red colored Dogoo.

(Sometime soon afterwards)

Joining up with the group, they are venturing through a cavern with a mixture of natural and ‘artificial’ fixtures where they are fighting a mixture of ALO and Gamindustri-style monsters in which they are now dealing with a massive silver colored Dogoo in which the silver coloring is due to the metallic coating of this Dogoo, which is known as Giant Metal Dogoo.

Lisbeth, after striking it with her mace, yells out, “This thing is as hard as diamond or something!”

Kirito says, plainly, “Most likely, steel, due to the fact that this is a METAL Dogoo.”

Blanc says, “The Metal Dogoo are always a pain since they are made of some kind of freaky liquid metal or something like that. Gives them a freaky high defense.”

Takeru says, “Not surprising since ‘metal enemies’ usually have high defense, Blanc.” The group avoids getting squashed by the Giant Metal Dogoo as they continue their attacks on it while avoiding its attacks at the same time, which isn’t too hard since its attacks are straightforward.

Blanc says, “Well, since it is a ‘metal monster’, it’s defense is for physical attacks and not magical, so, shouldn’t we be freaking using magical attacks on it already? It is quite obvious!” Soon enough, the two groups from Earth and Gamindustri use their respective magics from their respective VRMMO ‘worlds’ to take down the massive ‘metal’ Dogoo.

When they are done, Philia says, curiously, “It feels weird that both versions of magic are able to be used here.”

Kirito says, “Most likely, due to the ‘connection’ of the two VRMMO, Philia.”

Takeru says, with a plain tone, “But we need to break up to save both ‘worlds’.”

Ram asks, curiously, “So, where this quest that pixie girl of yours was talking about?”

Nepgear then sees ‘something’ causing her to point as well as shout out, “Goodness, look over there!” Everyone then looks in the direction that Nepgear where they see someone face-down in front of what looks like a large set of marble doors that has two statues ‘implanted’ on the surface of the doors with one of them looking like Neptune in her HDD form of Purple Heart while the other looks similar to Asuna, but her attire with long flowing skirt that’s joined with a crop top showing her belly, a ribbon that went around the topmost part of her top that came together to make a bow went, she is barefoot, and wore strips of cloth around her ankles.

As the group looks at the statues while they go over to the fallen person, Strea asks, curiously, “Doesn’t that statue look like Asuna?”

Yuuki says, looking at the ‘Asuna statue’, “Yeah, it does!”

Asuna blushes causing her to say, “No way! I would never wear anything like that!”

Asuna then glares at Kirito, causing him to flinch, and Usagi tells Asuna, “Come on, Asuna, you know better.”

Asuna says, with a nod, “I know. It is just why does that statue look like me? I don’t get it!”

Takeru says, pointing to the down individual, “Let’s focus on this person first.”

Kirito says, plainly, “Most likely, he will be the source of the quest that will allow us to prevent both VRMMO worlds from collapsing.”

Rom, the young girl dressed in the ‘samurai outfit’, says, shyly, “He doesn’t look so good.”

Leafa tells Asuna, “Let’s try some healing spells!”

Asuna says, with a nod, “Good idea!” Immediately, those with healing magic in the group use their healing spells on the person, who slowly, but surely gets to a sitting position where everyone can see that he looks like a middle-aged male wearing a classic RPG mage style outfit and from the yellow ‘marker’ above his head seen only by our group, they can see that he is an NPC.

The male asks, weakly, “W-Who are you? Where am I? What is this place?”

Hime says, in her classic plain tone, “I’m Hime and this place is the world of Alfheim…”

The man says, interrupting Hime, “Alfheim? The world of the fairies spoken by the sages? Then you must be the fairy inhabitants of this world!”

Usagi says, nervously, “Well, most of us are…”

The man says, in a pleading tone, “You must come help my world! I come from another realm known as Alsgard!”

The CPU/CPU Candidates give a gasp causing Uni says, “Hey, that’s the setting for Four Goddess Online!”

Kirito asks the man, “What makes you believe that we can help your world, sir?”

The man tells Kirito, “An evil fairy king has descended on our world and using forbidden items, he has gained incredible and horrific powers. The four great goddesses can’t help us due to them still recovering after their battle with the Great Demon King many an age ago. Until the chosen heroes restore the strength of the goddesses, we have no defense!”

Sinon asks the CPU and their younger sisters, “That must be the narrative of your VRMMO?”

Blanc says, with a nod, “That’s right. The main quest is to gather four legendary treasures to restore the power of the four goddesses of Alsgard, the location of Four Goddesses Online.”

The man tells Kirito, continuing his story, “However, a seer of prophetic power managed to tell us how we can defeat this evil ‘fairy king’. She told us that she came from a world known as Alfheim, a realm that contained nine races of fairies, though there were once ten races at one time.” Our group becomes curious in which the man says, “The ‘leaders’ of the fairies of Alfheim were known as Alfs.”

Leafa asks, surprised, “Alfs?”

Lisbeth says, plainly, “That sounds familiar.”

The man says, continuing his story, “At the time, the Alfs were able to soar high into the skies of this world while the other nine remained below in which only by becoming one of the Alf race, which they allowed if they completed a great test by ascending the great tree of this world, but one day, the evil fairy king Oberon usurped the throne of the Alf kingdom, forcing the great fairy queen, Titania, to marry him against her will, and imposed a rain of tyranny on the Alf kingdom though not known to the other races. Those that ascended up the great tree wouldn’t become an Alf, however. They would be taken by this evil demon in the skin of a king to do unspeakable things. The great queen Titania, sealed in a cage by Oberon for his own evil whims, managed to get a message to the other fairy races in which they united together to storm up the tree and take down the evil king. A beloved friend of Titania, a mighty swordsman clad in black and wielding two swords, found his way to evil fiend and even through the monster, Oberon, wielded a mighty holy sword, he couldn’t use the sword’s true power and the ‘black swordsman’ of the fairies struck him down or so it was thought.”

Plenty of eyes look towards Kirito causing Lisbeth says, with a smirk, “That sounds familiar.”

Kirito gives a nervous look where the man says, “Afterwards, the horror that Oberon brought was unveiled as he destroyed his own people, minus Titania, and it was only the comfort of the swordsman that finally struck down the evil fiend that prevent her from dying from sorrow. With that, she gave the gift of flight to all fairy races and then used her magic to become great healers of the nine fairy races, the fairies of the water, where she, her beloved swordsman, and the fairy races rebuilt the kingdom of the Alfs into a new city for all fairy races to live and honor Titania’s people forevermore. However, the evil Oberon, somehow, managed to survive and come to our world of Alsgard, crossing time and space, causing chaos and destruction, here, in our world to take it as his own. Without the goddesses, we stood no chance. However, the great seer said that by going to the realm of fairies and bringing forth the descendants of the ones that defeated Oberon before, we could have a chance to stop him. Please, you must go to our world and stop this evil fiend!” Soon enough, the familiar exclamation mark that shows a quest marker appears above the head of the male RPG style mage.

Yuuki says, excitedly, “That’s a quest marker!”

Arashi says, plainly, “That must be the quest that we need to restore things back to normal.”

Takeru says, “We really don’t have a choice since it seems like both games’ systems are attacking each other due them thinking that the other is an ‘error’ or ‘bug’.”

Noire says, bluntly, “No kidding.”

Leafa tells the NPC man, kindly, “Of course we’ll help!” The exclamation mark then turns into a question mark showing that the quest has been accepted.

The man says, “Thank you, fairy warriors.” The man points to the doors causing him to say, “The doors that bare the likeness of one of our goddesses and the great fairy queen herself is a gateway to our world in which you will be sent to an area where our two worlds cross. It is also where the evil fairy king has set up his base for his evil plans of conquest.”

Lisbeth says, plainly, “That’s classic.”

Takeru says, with a nod, “Yeah, Liz. It is most likely that after he is done with Alsgard, he can come back over to Alfheim to fulfill his need for revenge.”

Sinon says, plainly, “Your basic revenge plot.”

Megumi says, with a sigh, “How cliché.”

Sinon says, plainly, “But it works at times.”

Megumi says, nodding her head in agreement, “Yep.”

The NPC man says, “However, the seer wishes me to warn you. The evil fairy king has acquired forbidden powers of our realm and mixed in the magics of your realm, making him practically impossible to defeat! Many have tried and the few that return to tell the tale…It is better off not saying.”

Lisbeth says, nervously, “That’s not ominous.”

Megumi asks, curiously, “If that’s true, then why do you think that we will stand a chance?”

The NPC man responds, “It is because that the seer said: ‘That the two worlds must come together. Only though the blessing of Alsgard mixed with mystics of Alfheim can this threat be stopped’. The seer also mentioned that you, fairy warriors, must get the ‘final blessing of the goddesses’ which was made in case the worst happened where the goddesses could not return to Alsgard.”

Uni asks, curiously while looking at her fellow CPU Candidates, “Have you heard about this?”

Nepgear says, shaking her head, “Goodness, no!”

Neptune says, “Neither did I.”

Vert says, “It must have been an element added for this quest. Remember, while both systems for both games are ‘fighting’ each other due to their difference, they are similar including ‘auto quest ability’.”

Kirito says, with a nod, “Good point. Most likely, due to the ‘link’, both systems can use elements from both worlds.”

Takeru says, “Until they tear each other apart.”

Uni says, plainly, “Anyway, we should get going before that happens.”

Arashi says, with a nod, “Good point.”

Kirito says, nodding his head, “Agreed.” As if on cue, the massive doors then opens up to reveal a glowing opening.

Usagi says, “That must be the portal to Alsgard.”

Yuuki says, excitedly, “Then what are we waiting for?! Let’s go already!”

Strea says, excitedly, “Yeah!” Soon after, Strea and Yuuki race off to the ‘opening’ before anyone could say anything or do anything to stop them.

Asuna says, worriedly, “Strea! Yuuki!”

Noire says, glancing at Neptune, “Great. I’ve met two more versions of her.”

Neptune asks Noire, curiously, “Did you say something, Noire?”

Noire responds, plainly, “Not a thing.”

Minako says, with a smile, “They have got the right attitude!” Minako then takes Takeru by his arm and start to drag him through the gateway in which the others follow in quick order.

January 2026, Unknown virtual world

Within an unknown virtual world, we find our group going through the hallways of a massive temple structure that’s different from ones found in ALO, but there are elements of ALO-style dungeons within this temple-like dungeon.

Lisbeth says, “This is new.”

Blanc says, “This is definitely like a dungeon in Four Goddesses Online.”

Asuna asks Blanc, curiously, “Are you sure, Blanc?”

Vert says, with a nod, “Blanc is right, everyone. This is definitely a dungeon that you would find in Four Goddesses Online.”

Nepgear says, with a smile, “That means that we are back.”

Usagi says, curiously, “But it looks like that there are elements seen in ALO dungeons in here.”

Kirito says, “This might be some kind of ‘nexus’ or something like that. A place where the two worlds are ‘meeting’.”

Nepgear says, with a nod, “That could be a valid theory.”

Takeru says, “Well, that means that we are going in the right direction.”

Yuuki says, excitedly, “Come on! Let’s go!”

Strea says, with a nod and excited tone, “Okay!”

Asuna tells Strea and Yuuki, “Hold on, you two!”

Strea and Yuuki stop causing them to look at Asuna in which Usagi says, “There is something about what that guy said that worries me.”

Uni asks, curiously, “You mean that stuff about him ‘combining powers from this world and your world’?”

Kirito says, with a nod, “That kind of talk usually means that he may have a powerful ‘buff’ or something like that could make him practically impossible to defeat unless we fulfill some kind of ‘objective’.”

Vert says, nodding her head, “I agree. That’s usually the type of ‘flag’ for that kind of thing.”
Noire asks, a bit annoyed, “So, what do you expect us to do if that’s the case?”

Vert says, with a smile, “That’s simple. We just need to keep an eye out. Sometimes, the ‘objective’ can be found on the way to the ‘quest boss’ like that.”

Kirito responds, nodding his head in agreement, “Vert’s right. We’ll need to keep an eye out just in case.”

Usagi says, nodding her head to agree with Kirito, “I agree, Kirito.”

Asuna adds in, also nodding her head, “Same here.”

Yuuki says, excitedly, “Then let’s move out!”

Yuuki rushes off with Strea yelling out, excitedly, “Okay!” Strea rushes off after Yuuki with plenty of the others giving exasperated looks at their forms.

Noire asks, curiously, “Is this typical for them?”

Lisbeth replies, with a nod, “Yep.” Usagi gives a nervous giggle and smile at Lisbeth’s answer to Noire’s question in which the others immediately follow after them.

(A good time afterwards)

Sometime later on, our group is moving on through the temple-like dungeon and fighting all sorts of monsters, both ALO and this world, Four Goddesses Online/Alsgard, where they are using their respective ‘game skills’ to fight against their opponents. After taking of their latest group of opponents, our heroes and heroines take the time to restore their health as well as their MP, magic points, which allows them to use their respective ‘magics’.

Takeru says, “That takes care of them.”

Kirito says, “It shows that both of our ‘worlds’ are clashing since both ALO monsters and Four Goddesses Online monsters are in this dungeon. Add to the fact that we can use both of our magics and skills from both VRMMO.”

Blanc says, “And our two ‘worlds’ will be demolished if we don’t take out this ‘evil fairy king’.”

Uni asks, curiously, “Are we sure that this will make sure that our two VRMMO games ‘break it up’?”

Asuna says, with a nod, “Yui is sure that this quest is linked to that.”

Usagi says, “I hope that we can complete this quest without any problems.”

Kirito tells Usagi, “We, all, do, but the warning that the NPC gave us has got me concerned.”

Vert says, nodding her head, “Yes. Words like that are usually a ‘flag’ for a task to be completed or an item to be found needed to defeat that kind of a quest boss.”

Takeru says, “We should keep a close eye on anything ‘unusual’ that we should look into.” Plenty of the others nod their heads in agreement as they continue on, but shortly afterwards, Philia notices something where she goes over to a nearby wall.

Leafa asks Philia, noticing this, “Philia, what is it?” Everyone stops in their tracks and they look at Philia as she is examining a statue by the wall.

Kirito asks Philia, curiously, “What’s wrong, Philia?”

Philia responds, “Something about this statue seems off.”

Nepgear asks, curiously, “Off?”

Lisbeth says, “It looks fine to me.”

Arashi says, “We can’t be so sure. Remember, Philia’s skill set makes her a treasure hunter.”

Kirito says, nodding his head in agreement, “I agree. With Philia’s skill and experience, it isn’t surprising that she would notice something that the rest of us wouldn’t.” Philia giggles at Kirito’s comment and she then gains a curious look as she notices something.

Usagi asks Philia, “You find something, Philia?”

Philia responds, with a smile, “You bet!” Just then a ‘click’ is heard and a section of wall slides by to reveal a secret room.

Vert says, excitedly, “Oh my! A secret room!”

Uni says, with a smirk, “Not bad.”

Usagi asks, curiously, “Do you think that we should be going inside?”

Ram asks, “Why shouldn’t we?”

Minako says, plainly, “Trap room.”

Kirito says, nodding his head in agreement, “Agreed. It might be possible that this is a trap.”

Vert says, nodding her head, “That’s indeed a good point.” Vert says, looking at Philia, “However, if she has the skill set of a treasure hunter, she will have skills for ‘trap detection’.”

Philia says, with a nod, “Yes, I do.”

Usagi says, “That’s right. You have trap detection skills…” Just then Usagi says, showing a look of realization, “But you usually use that for traps inside of treasure chests, Philia.”

Asuna says, nodding her head, “Yes, I would feel better if all of us went inside.” Asuna looks at Kirito and gives Kirito a reassuring look causing him to nod in which the group soon enters the formally hidden room where they find statues that are mixture of the fairy races of Alfheim along with statues that look like Neptune’s, Noire’s, Blanc’s, and Vert’s HDD forms though these ‘versions’ of them have feathered wings instead of the ‘machine-like’ wings that their HDD forms usually entails.

Strea says, amazed, “Wow!”

Yuuki says, nodding her head in agreement with what Strea is saying, “I’ll say!”

Sinon says, looking at the statues, “These look like statues of the fairy races of Alfheim.”

Minako says, also looking at the statues, “And those must be the goddesses of this world.”

Lisbeth and Megumi say in unison, in sarcastic tones, “What gave you that idea?”

Asuna says, pointing somewhere else in the room, “Over there!” Everyone looks where Asuna is pointing and they look to find busts of the heads of Purple Heart, Black Heart, White Heart, and Green Heart, the HDD forms of Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert respectively, with shimmering golden halo-like jeweled crowns on the busts.

Uni asks, curiously, “What are those supposed to be?”

Nepgear says, plainly, “They look like crowns.”

Kirito says, “It looks like they are some kind of item or equipment.”

Yui says, coming out of one of the pockets in Kirito’s coat, “That’s right, daddy. They are equipment.”

Asuna asks, curiously, “What kind of equipment?”

Yui responds, “I…I’m not sure.”

Plenty of the others look at Yui in surprise causing Leafa to ask, “You aren’t sure, Yui?”

Yui shakes her head causing her to respond, “No, I’m not. It is vague in its description, but what I do know is that it can only be equipped by female players.”

Sinon asks, curiously, “Female players?”

Neptune says, with a sly smirk, “Ooh, I see an ecchi moment by the author coming.”

Noire tells Neptune, annoyed, “This isn’t the time to meta, Neptune!”

Arashi asks, “What do you think that these crowns do?”

Kirito says, curiously, “I’m not sure…”

Usagi asks Kirito, curiously, “Kirito?”

Kirito responds, plainly, “While I’m not sure what these crowns do, I think that we should take them. If they are put in here within a secret chamber, they must have some importance at least.”

Vert says, with a nod, “Agreed.”

Megumi says, “The question is: Who will the crown go to? There are only four.”

Arashi says, plainly, “Well, Kirito and I are automatically out since Yui said these crowns can only be equipped by female players.”

Kirito says, adding in, “And I think that only the ALO player members of our group should take them.”

Ram says, a bit annoyed, “Why is that? We have much in stake in this!”

Kirito responds, “No insult to you, Ram, but remember what that NPC said. It mentioned that we were vital to stopping this Oberon that we need to get the ‘final blessing of the goddesses’ to succeed.”

Usagi asks Kirito, “You think that these crowns are a part of it?”

Kirito says, with a nod, “I think so.” Kirito tells Vert, “You did say that the ‘goddesses’ of this world are based on you, right?”

Vert says, nodding her head, “That’s correct, Kirito.” Vert then says, “And I have to agree with you on who should get the crowns. I think that in order to pass the qualifications of the quest, we may need to take the NPC at his words. The players from ALO need to get certain quest items from here, in Four Goddesses Online, this world in order to complete the quest. It is how these kind of things are passed.”

Neptune says, nodding her head in agreement, “Yeah, you got that right. As an advert gamer myself, though not at the level of you, Vert, I know that sometimes that you need certain times to complete these quests and you need to follow them by the letter despite how annoying they can be.”

Noire says, annoyed, “Don’t start sounding like Vert.”

Usagi asks, curiously, “Now, the real question is: Who among us should take the crowns?”

Minako was about to speak up causing Lisbeth to say, “Not surprising that you would want one, Mina.”

Megumi says, “Personally, if we want to use them right, if they are indeed vital to complete this quest, we should make sure that those that have them would use them right.”

Minako gives an annoyed look causing her to say, with an annoyed tone, “We don’t even know what they do!”

Arashi says, “That’s a good point.”

Kirito says, “True, but something tells me that we will figure it out. Most likely, the answer will come to us at the right moment.”

Usagi says, with a sigh, “That tends to happen to us in these situations.”

Uni says, with a plain tone, “That gives a solid vote of confidence.”

Usagi gives a nervous look where Sinon says, “I think that Asuna, Usagi, and Leafa should be three of the four people to hold onto the crowns.”

Plenty of the others give looks of surprise causing Strea to say, excitedly, “I agree! They are crowns and crowns are worn by royalty in which the three of them are princesses!”

Leafa says, nervously, “We’re not princesses right now, Strea.”

Yui says, “Even though it is for different reasons, I agree with Strea. I believe that mommy, Auntie Usagi, and Auntie Leafa are among those that should have the crowns.”

Noire says, with a plain tone, “I have to agree. It seems like they seem to be the more responsible ones of your group.” A few of the ALO members of our group give annoyed looks at Noire for that comment.

Kirito says, looking at Sinon, “And Sinon should get the last one.”

Sinon asks, surprised, “Huh? Me?”

Kirito says, with a nod, “I believe you are the most capable of handling whatever that crown, Sinon.”

Asuna adds in, nodding her head in agreement, “I agree with Kirito-kun, Sinonon. You are cool ‘under fire’, so to speak, so I think that you are the best bet.” Sinon gives a brief look of amazement and nods her head.

Takeru asks, plainly, “Any objections?” When there is no reply, Asuna, Usagi, Leafa, and Sinon took the crowns from the bust and put them into their inventories.

Ram asks, a bit annoyed, “Can we go now?”

Megumi says, with a sigh, “Yes, we can.”

Neptune says, excitedly, “Oh, boy! The big boss battle has arrived! Hopefully, it will be easy, but based on what that NPC said earlier in this story, it won’t be so much. It is a real typical flag that sets up for a more complex boss fight that we thought.” A good amount of our group looks at Neptune with annoyed looks, but she moves her head to make it look like she is looking towards us (A/N: I know. But it wouldn’t be Neptunia without plenty of meta, right?).

Kirito says, a bit nervously, “Anyway, we should get going.” The others nod their heads in agreement in which all of them exit out of the room where they head off to find the boss to defeat him, complete the quest, and restore the two VRMMO ‘worlds’ back to normal.

(Sometime later on)

Right now, we find our group standing in front of a massive set of doors which seem ‘over the top’, as the saying goes, with the doors being as tall as five-story building with them as wide of a football field, the doors are seemly made of the finest white marble, and they are filled with colored in statues of a handsome male fairy with shoulder length blonde hair, pale skin, green eyes, long elf-like ears like most ALO avatars, minus the Cait Sith with their cat-like ears, and wings, with his attire consisting of a golden crown with an emerald in the center, a long dark green robe and a green cloak, both with an emerald-like jewel in them. Naturally, plenty of our group had deadpan looks on their faces due to the ’overblown nature’ of the doors.

Neptune says, nervously, “I think that we found the boss room.”

Noire responds, sarcastically, “What was your first clue?”

Takeru says, with a nervous smile, “Something tells me that this boss is going to be REALLY annoying.”

Arashi says, with a nervous nod, “Guy has a HUGE opinion of himself, huh? Oh, boy! This is going to be a pain! Believe it!”

Lisbeth says, with a sigh and a nod, “Let’s get this over with.”

Philia asks, curiously, “How are we going to get in?” As if to answer Philia’s question, the massive doors then groan as they slowly open to reveal a massive throne room.

Minako says, with a smile, “Well, that answers that.”

Kirito then says, “Be careful, everyone.” Plenty of the others nod their heads in agreement with Kirito as they step into the massive throne room where they can see that the throne room includes an expensive dining table that looks like it can seat around several dozen people or more, a luxurious massive bed inside of what looks like a huge birdcage, and multiple statues similar to the one on the door that they just entered.

Lisbeth asks, nervously, “Does anyone else have the creeps?”

Leafa says, nervously while nodding her head, “You aren’t the only one.”

Just then a high male voice booms out, “Who dares enter my chamber?” Everyone looks towards the source of the voice to find someone that looks like the fairy that looks exactly like the statues in the room and on the door, standing in front of a luxurious throne that’s on a platform that has a total of ten stairs leading up to the throne.

Nepgear says, “I guess that’s him.”

Ram responds, sarcastically, “What was your first clue? The guy that obviously looks like a bad guy standing as if he is better than everyone else?”

Nepgear gives a nervous smile where Takeru asks, seriously, “So, you must be Oberon?”

The regally dressed fairy male looks down at our group causing him to sneer in which he says, “You! I recognize my ‘former kin’ that drove me from my throne! I see that taking my throne isn’t enough from you! You want to take my new throne, too, huh? Well…” However, he stops in his tracks as he looks at Asuna causing him to ask, surprised, “Titania?”

Everyone looks at Asuna causing her to ask, nervously, “Me?”

The regally dressed fairy male yells out, “Titania! My lovely Titania! Have you finally returned to me?” The regally dressed fairy male gives Asuna a leering eye causing him to step back nervously.

Lisbeth says, nervously, “Okay! He really creeps me out!”

Minako says, with a nervous nod, “No joke! He may look good on the outside, but anyone can tell that he is major creep on the inside!”

Vert says, nodding her head, “Indeed. His true ugliness is showing as he is thinking impure thoughts about poor Asuna.” The regally dressed fairy walks down from the throne and walks towards Asuna causing her to step back in which Kirito and Usagi step in-between her and regally dressed fairy.

Usagi says, showing signs of anger in her face, “Hey, back off!”

The regally dressed fairy tells Usagi, irritated, “What do you think that you are doing wench?! Step away from Titania! Our destined reunion has arrived!” The regal dressed fairy leers at Asuna causing her to flinch greatly from his stare where he says, “Don’t worry, Titania. I won’t be too hard on you.”

When the regal dressed fairy grins in lustful fashion with an unnerve giggle in which Neptune says, “Okay, that settles that. A real hentai here!”
Noire tells Neptune, “No damn kidding! Let’s kick his butt already!”

Kirito yells out, strongly, “Back off, Oberon!”

The regally dressed fairy exclaims, angrily, “You address me in such a manner? I am King Oberon, you wretched…” When the regally dressed fairy, Oberon, looks at Kirito, his eyes widen and then his eyes narrow where his handsome features twist into an expression of pure rage and fury causing him to scream out, angrily, “You! You! You! You! You wretched lowly piece of filth! You dare show your face to me again?!”

Hime asks, curiously, “Again?”

Megumi says, plainly, “I’m not liking this.”

Yuuki asks Kirito, “You met this guy, Kirito?”

Kirito responds, “No, I haven’t! And personally, I don’t want to meet him anywhere.”

Oberon shouts out, angrily, “You insult me again? Wretched so-called ‘Black Swordsman’?! You, once again, try to rip my love away from me! You may have managed to get the better of me, but only because of your dirty tricks! This time, I shall have your head, Black Swordsman! Guards! Guards!” Just then multiple monsters appear around him including two Ancient Dragon from Gamindustri and what looks like a good amount of white armored humanoid monsters with white fairy wings.

Nepgear says, nervously, “Goodness! Those are Ancient Dragons!”

Leafa says, nervously, “And those are Guardian Knights! And a lot of them!”

Arashi says, seriously, “And here they come!” Soon enough, the monsters charge in to attack our group causing them to draw their weapons and immediately go into defensive stances.

Kirito says, seriously, “Split up! Some of us should take on the knights while the rest take on the dragons!”

Yuuki says, with a nod, “Got it!”

Strea says, nodding her head, “Right! Let’s go!” Afterwards, our group separate into two groups with one group, including Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, and Usagi, fighting against the Guardian Knights while the other group takes on the Ancient Dragons in which they subdivide into two groups to take down both Ancient Dragons. The group against the Guardian Knights quickly plow through them, individually, without too much trouble, but the sheer numbers are the real problem while the Ancient Dragons have sheer power and vitality which proved to help the two dragons to be tougher than the swarms of Guardian Knights. Eventually, both the Guardian Knights and the Ancient Dragons are defeated, but our group is quite drained on the meanwhile in which Asuna and the other healers of the group work quickly to restore their group’s health.

Oberon yells out, enraged, “Baka! Baka! All of them are bakas! If you want something done, do it yourself!” Oberon then brings out a majestic longsword that is almost entirely gold in color, including the handle, with the cross-guard is shaped like a small set of wings and has a small, triangle-like plate with three green gems on it.

Kirito says, shocked, “No way!”

Leafa says, “That’s Excalibur!”

Uni says, nervously, “Excalibur? That doesn’t sound good!”

Sinon says, “It is one of the strongest one-handed sword in ALO.”

Minako says, amazed, “Yeah, but he shouldn’t have it!”

Blanc asks, curiously, “Why is that?”

Kirito says, plainly, “Long story.”

Vert gets a sly smile on her lips in which Strea shouts out, “Here he comes!” Everyone looks to see Oberon attack them, but his attack style proves to be sloppy and poor.

After easily avoiding another attack, Oberon shouts out, angrily, “Be still, you little cur!”

Kirito responds, “I don’t think so.”

Oberon continues to attack Kirito in a poor and sloppy fashion, Neptune says, “He is supposed to be the final boss? Heh! He doesn’t seem so tough!”

Noire says, “I can’t believe that I’m saying this, but I’m agreeing with Neptune. He doesn’t seem so tough.”

Strea says, with a nod, “He is quite pathetic.”

Usagi thinks in her mind, curiously, “Something is not right here.”

Lisbeth says, “No joke.” Lisbeth says, with a grin, “Guess he isn’t all that the hype said that he was supposed to be.”

Leafa says, curiously, “I don’t know. He seems weak, yeah, but doesn’t that mean that could be a ‘nasty surprise’. It seems like that kind of thing.”

Strea says, excitedly, “Then let’s take him out!”

Strea then charges into the fight to attack Oberon causing Kirito to yell out, “Strea!” Kirito is then forced to dodge, quickly easily, Oberon’s sword, leaving him open to attack where Strea uses a Two-Handed Sword Skill, Avalanche, on him, but shocking, when the Sword Skill strikes Oberon, Strea yelps as she is thrown back by a practically ‘skin-tight’ energy field around Oberon.

The others gasp in shock causing Asuna to say, shocked, “Strea!”

Leafa yells out, stunned, “What the heck was that?!”

Megumi says, with a snort, “I knew it!”
Oberon gives an evil laughs and shouts out, “Pathetic fairy wench! You dare to attack your king?! It won’t be like last time! I am immortal now! No one can harm me! No one!”

Minako asks, confused, “What the heck was that?”

Takeru says, seriously, “It must be some kind of ‘protective field’.”

Neptune yells out, “Well, let’s see how he handles this!” Neptune tells Nepgear, “Hey, kiddo, let him have with your most powerful magic spell!”

Nepgear gives a look of surprise and she then says, nervously, “Oh, okay!” Nepgear then unleashes a powerful elemental spell on Oberon, but the ‘protective field’ completely negates it causing everyone else to look in shock while Nepgear asks, stunned, “What the goodness?!”

Oberon gives an evil laugh causing him to shout out, with an evil confident tone, “Ha! Is that all? Didn’t you hear me? I am immortal now! Thanks to the power that I have gained in this world, I am invincible!”

Yui tells Kirito, “Daddy, this character is surrounded by a powerful ‘field’ that protects him from both physical and magically damage! Plus, debuffs are completely useless against him! He is just under an immortal object!”

Kirito asks, shocked, “Are you sure, Yui?!”

Yui says, with a nod, “Yes, daddy!”

Blanc says, irritated, “Damn! I knew that this seemed too easy!”

Minako asks, “So, what do we do now?”

Oberon yells out, in retort, “All you can do is knee to your king!”

Yuuki says, strongly, “Like that’s going to happen!”

Oberon says, “Then you shall die!” Oberon then unleashes ‘energy waves’ from his Excalibur in which our group manage to dodge.

Usagi says, shocked, “Whoa!”
Hime shouts out, confused, “What do we do?”

Lisbeth shouts out, “Keep attacking! Something has got to work!” The group tries various skills and magic based attacks from the two VRMMO worlds, but nothing causes ANY significant damage, if ANY damage at all in which Oberon laughs at this efforts.

Oberon says, with an evil sick smile, “Is that all you have, worms?! You are pathetic! Now, bow to your king!” Just then everyone groans out as they are hit by a ‘gravity field’ in which the ALO players are unable to fly.

Neptune asks, stunned, “What the heck?!”

Noire says, grunting, “I can barely move!”

Leafa says, “Gravity magic!”

Kirito yells out, “We need defense and speed buffs and fast!”

Asuna says, with a nod, “Right, Kirito-kun!” Immediately, the vast group gain increase defense and speed stats though the gravity magic makes it hard to move. It is soon proved prudent that it was wise to boost their defense stats, physical and magical, since they are barely dodging the ‘energy waves’ Oberon unleashes from his sword as well as powerful magical attacks causing significant damage to our group.

Usagi says, “Good call, Kirito!”

Uni says, “Yeah, but we’re not going to get anywhere if he can negate ANY attack that we throw against him!”

Ram says, “This is a major cheat! We should complain to a GM!”

Nepgear says, nervously, “There isn’t anything that the GM for both games can do!” Soon enough, they find a way to break the ‘gravity field’ that’s restricting their movements, but all they can do is avoid Oberon’s attacks since the ‘field’ around his form protects him from both ‘physical’ and ‘magical’ based attacks.

Sinon says, “No weapon or attack is able to hurt him. Thankfully, his fighting ability is pretty much poor at best.”

Leafa says, “Yeah, but if we can’t hurt him at all, this fight is going to go on forever!”

Blanc says, seriously, “And we don’t have the damn time!”

Megumi says, “I’m open to suggestions!”

As the group avoids/defends against an AOE, area of effect, attack, Kirito then says, “The crowns!” Everyone looks at him causing him to say, “Asuna! Usagi! Sugu-Leafa! Sinon! Put on the crowns! This could be what they are made for!”

Usagi asks Kirito, curiously, “Are you sure?”

Kirito says, “It is the only idea that I’ve got. The NPC mentioned the ‘gift of the goddesses’ to stop him and mentioning that he mixed ‘powers of both worlds’ to make himself ‘practically impossible’ to defeat.”

Arashi says, dodging another magic attack from Oberon, “Yeah, shields that make him practically invincible can do that!”

Vert says, “I agree with Kirito! Those crowns might be our only chance!” Asuna, Usagi, Leafa, and Sinon look at each other, nod their heads, and leap away from the others.

Kirito shouts out, “Keep him away from Asuna, Leafa, Usagi, and Sinon!”

Philia says, with a nod, “Okay!”
Lisbeth says, with a plain tone, “I don’t think that it will be too hard!” While the others keep Oberon’s attention on themselves, Asuna, Leafa, Usagi, and Sinon go through their menus where they equip the crowns onto their heads, but the instant that the crowns appear around their heads, the four young ladies/fairies yelp as they are engulfed in a light.

Minako asks, confused, “What the?”

Kirito shouts out, surprised, “Asuna! Usagi! Leafa! Sinon!”

Oberon shouts out, irritated, “What kind of trick is this?!” Everyone then covers their eyes due to the sheer light engulfing Asuna, Leafa, Usagi, and Sinon, but the light fades quickly as it appears in which when everyone looks towards four said females, they are shocked to find that they have RADICALLY changed!

Asuna is now looking a bit more ‘adult’ with a slight increase in height, her blue hair now flowing just below her kneecaps behind her back, the golden circuit crown around her head, her eyes’ pupils now shaped like the eyes of the CPU/CPU Candidates in the HDD forms, and she is wearing an outfit similar to Neptune’s/Purple Heart’s ‘outfit’ in her NEXT form expect what is black in Neptune’s NEXT form is pure white and the Planeptune symbols are replaced by the insignia of the Knights of the Blood Oath. She also has eight massive blue fairy type wings coming out of her back.

Leafa’s ‘new look’ also has her gaining a slight increase in height, her blond hair growing long with her ponytail now flowing down behind her back to just before hitting the ground, the golden circuit crown around her head, like Asuna, her eyes’ pupils now shaped like the eyes of the CPU/CPU Candidates in the HDD forms, and she is wearing an outfit similar to Vert’s/Green Heart’s outfit in her NEXT form expect that the colors are a mixture of leaf green, white where it is usually black, and a mix of yellow as well, the symbol of Leanbox are replaced by her sigil as Sailor Celestial, the golden crescent moon within the rainbow colored Milky Way, and she has eight massive leaf green fairy type wings coming out of her back.

Usagi’s new look, like Asuna and Leafa, also has her gaining a slight increase in height, her blue hair remaining in their pigtails, but they are longer in which they touch the ground now, like with Asuna and Leafa, the golden circuit crown around her head, exactly like with Asuna and Leafa, her eyes’ pupils now shaped like the eyes of the CPU/CPU Candidates in the HDD forms, and she is wearing an outfit similar to Neptune’s ‘outfit’ in her HDD form of Purple Heart, but Usagi’s ‘outfit’ is colored blue and white instead of violet and black with the ‘N’ and ‘D-Pad’ symbols being replaced by the golden crescent moon sigils, and there are eight massive silver fairy wings.

Finally, Sinon’s new look has her also gaining a slight increase in height, like the other three young ladies before her, her hair, along with cat ears, actually remains the same, exactly like with Asuna, Leafa, and Usagi, the golden circuit crown is around her head, her eyes’ pupils now shaped like the eyes of the CPU/CPU Candidates in the HDD forms, and she is wearing an outfit similar to Nepgear’s HDD form of Purple Sister, expect that the coloring is different with it being black and dark green in color with the ‘N’ symbol on it being replaced by the sigil of Orion, in which skin-tight bodysuit also reveals that Sinon’s…*ahem* ‘assets’ have become more well-endowed. Sinon has eight massive light grey fairy wings coming out of her back.

Philia asks, surprised, “Asuna? Leafa? Usagi? Sinon?” The four young ladies look over themselves in which Leafa gives a screech of embarrassment due to the fact that her outfit is quite, as they say, ‘revealing’.

Leafa asks, with a major blush on her cheeks, “What the heck is this?”

Arashi and Kirito can’t help to blush at them in which Megumi tells Arashi, a bit annoyed, “You better not be thinking what I think you are thinking.”

Arashi says, nervously, “No way!”

Sinon tells Kirito, glaring at him, “I hope you don’t plan at staring at us for too long, Kirito.”

Kirito says, nervously, “No! No!”
Asuna says, a bit nervously, “Is this supposed to help? It feels a bit…usual…”

Usagi looks at her menu causing her to say, amazed at what she sees, “Whoa! Our stats are way up!” Leafa, Sinon, and Asuna give surprised looks at Usagi and when they open up their menus, they see similar increases to their avatar stats as Usagi.

Leafa says, amazed, “She’s right!”

Asuna says, awe-struck, “Wow!”

Sinon says, with a nod, “I can’t help to wonder what else these give us.” As if to answer Sinon’s question, brand new weapons appear in the ‘transformed’ girls’ hands. Asuna has two shimmering silver version of her Radiant Light rapier from SAO, Leafa has a massive kitana similar to Sephiroth’s kitana, Masamune, Usagi also has two swords, similar to the ones used by Black Heart, Noire’s HDD form, and finally, Sinon has a black version of Nepgear’s standard weapon, a sword/gun combination weapon, in her hands.

Usagi says, amazed, “That answers that.”

Leafa says, a bit nervous yet amazed tone, “It is a bit…big.” Leafa swings the massive kitana creating an energy wave that slams into Oberon causing him to howl as he is knocked on his rear end while causing him a bit damage.

Yuuki says, amazed, “Whoa! He’s actually hurt!”

Takeru says, with a smirk, “Yes, he is.” Leafa gives an amazed look, but she then gains a sly smirk on her lips.”

Oberon gets to his feet and screams out, angrily, “How dare you scratch me?! You will pay for your…!!” However, he yelps again as his hand is shot by Sinon causing Oberon’s Excalibur to drop from his hands.

Sinon says, plainly, “Sorry, I was getting annoyed by his mouth.”

Lisbeth says, with a sly smirk, “Hey, since you got a MAJOR ‘upgrade’, mind taking him down a peg? He is getting really annoying.”

Leafa says, looking at Oberon with a sly smirk on her lips, “Our pleasure.” Sinon and Usagi also gain sly smirks of their own causing Oberon to gain a REALLY NERVOUS expression on his face in which Asuna, Leafa, and Usagi immediately charge into the attack while Sinon hangs back in which the tide quickly turns with Oberon screaming in pain and agony as Asuna, Leafa, Usagi, and Sinon basically wail on him with their weapons.

Ram says, with a grin, “Without his ‘big bad shield’, he is such a wimp!”

Strea says, nodding her head in agreement, “Yeah, I agree!”

Oberon shouts out, spreading his wings, “You…You are going to pay for this!” Oberon then takes off at incredible speeds to get away from our group to escape.

Minako yells out, “Hey! He’s getting away!” Immediately, Leafa, Asuna, and Usagi chase after him, but he is incredibly fast, however, Sinon takes careful aim and with one shot, Sinon strikes the final blow causing him to screech out in pain and horror as he shatters into hundreds of data pixels. Soon after, the classic ‘Congratulations’ appears above the whole group.

Strea says, excitedly, “We did it!”

Kirito asks Yui, “Yui?”

Yui responds, “Hold on a second, daddy.” Yui closes her eyes for a few seconds and when she opens them, Yui says, with a smile, “Yes, it worked. The two operating systems have ended their ‘fighting’ and the two worlds are starting to separate!”

Yuuki says, excitedly, “We did it!” But then all of the ALO members of the group start to glow causing Yuuki to ask, surprised, “What’s going on?”

Yui says, “We are being returned back to ALO since we came from the VRMMO of our world.”

Neptune says, “Already? Not even a chance for a victory celebration? That stinks!”

Blanc says, plainly, “That’s not surprising.”

Asuna, Leafa, Usagi, and Sinon ‘transform’ back to their ‘regular forms’ and Usagi says, with a sigh, “I guess that we don’t get to take our new forms with us.”

Asuna says, with a sigh, “I guess not.”

Leafa says, plainly, “Forgive me if I’m not so disappointed. The major power boost was awesome, but the look…not so much.”

Vert tells Leafa, with a smile, “Well, I believe that it made you, gorgeous, Leafa. You should be proud of your beauty in and out of game, my dear.” Vert ‘puffs out’ her avatar’s chest causing Blanc to get her usual ‘tick’ and her classic enraged expression causing a number of the other CPU/CPU Candidates and Leafa to get nervous through for different reasons.

Kirito says, “See you later, everyone.”

Neptune says, excitedly, “Later, gators! Something tells me that author will write us into another story, so, we’ll see each other again!” The ALO members of the group give confused looks as they ‘vanish’ as they return to ALO while Noire gives an exasperated look as she shakes her head at Neptune’s usual ‘antics’ as they prepare to return to playing their VRMMO game in their world again with the current crisis over.

January 2026, ALO, Svart Alfheim, Alne

Back in Alne, our heroes and heroines are assembled in the center of the town with Kirito and Asuna coming up to them.

Philia asks, “So, how did it?”

Kirito says, with a smile, “Argo understood the situation.”

Hime says, with a smile, “That’s good.”

Minako says, with a grin, “By the way…”

Asuna says, with a sigh, “If you are talking about that ‘item’, I know that we still have it.”

Sinon asks, curiously, “How is that possible?”

Kirito says, “Yui believes that it has adapted to ALO thanks to the Cardinal System.”

Megumi says, “That’s not surprising.”

Hime asks, curiously, “So, what do you plan to do with them?”

Strea says, excitedly, “Why don’t you try them here?”

Leafa says, with a blush, “No way! I’m not putting that on again!”

Yuuki says, with a grin, “Maybe you should give it to me!”

Yui, coming out of one of Kirito’s pockets, says, “Unfortunately, the items have been ‘locked’ onto mommy, Auntie Usagi, Auntie Leafa, and Sinon, making it so that only they can use them.”

Minako asks, disappointed tone in her voice, “Really?”

Strea says, with a pout, “Ah…”

Asuna says, nervously, “Well…”

Yui says, “However, it seems like due to what happened and the items addition to ALO, there is a new quest created to get that item.”

Strea says, excitedly, “Really? That’s great!”

Yuuki yells out, excitedly, “And since it gives an awesome power boost, it must be a hard quest too! Sounds like a blast!”

Minako says, excitedly, “Yeah! I can’t wait to see what my ‘goddess form’ looks like!”
Leafa says, with a deadpan look and tone, “Oh, boy.” Asuna gives her classic nervous expression and giggle as Strea, Yuuki, and Minako ‘interrogate’ Yui on the quest where they can get the items that Usagi, Leafa, Asuna, and Sinon had gained to resolve their latest adventure where plenty of them feel that they are in for a long day…

Well, it has taken me awhile, but I have gotten the first of this new series of one-shot stories done. It was tough due to what’s been happening lately, but I managed to get it done. Anyway, things have been more ‘hectic’ at home and I’ll need to warn you that I may not be updating at the level that I am currently during early parts of the summer. There is A LOT happening IRL and I’m going to be GREATLY involved in that, so, I won’t be able to work on these as usual. Anyway, I hope that you like this newest twist to my one-shot stories.
