I know that it has been a REAL LONG time, but IRL has been ‘crazy’ lately to say the least and I did mention this in my last update of this series. With the current ‘situation’ IRL with my own personal IRL also chaotic, it is quite hard to get time to write and collecting myself for ideas. However, I hope that will be good as the previous stories in this series so far. Anyway, I know that I have been doing this over and over again, but I must give thanks and credit to Belletiger and Kanius as well as Kanius’ YuYuGiDigiMoon fanfiction series, especially his The Invasion of the Rajita story, for giving me permission to use the idea of Valkyrie Sailor Soldiers and everything that’s a part of them in my fanfiction. Prelude: A castle of stone and metal floating in the sky that consist of one hundred floors. Within this massive structure, there are countless cities, villages, towns, forests, plains, lakes, and whatever you can imagine. There is only one staircase that connects one floor with another, and these staircases are located within dangerous mazes filled with monsters. The players with navigate through these floors to the top with nothing than the weapons in their hands. And yes, I said players.

This is the world of Aincrad, a floating castle in a virtual sky, and yes, I said VIRTUAL sky. This world and this floating castle world are in a realm made of digital information…the world of Sword Art Online. A world that was supposed to be game, but because a nightmare prison when its creator, Akihiko Kayaba, trapped the ten thousand players within this virtual world and if they die here, they will die in real life. The ten thousand players struggle in this ‘game death’ to reach the top of the floating castle where the final boss and the key to their freedom waits.

You may know this story and the stories that come after it, but do you know all the stories? All the tales that happened within the floating castle? Story 39: Spira Stories 6: Revelation in the Thieves’ Den

Note: This story takes place in the Hollow Fragment timeline and takes place around during time of Chapter 17 of World’s Song.

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Guadosalam, Chateau Leblanc

Deep within Chateau Leblanc, which is the former mansion home of the leaders of Guado until the Guado were driven out due to their actions in following their last leader, Seymour Guado, we find Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Naruto, Hinata, and Sakura, all of whom are in their disguises with Yuna, Rikku, and Paine using ‘liberated’ Leblanc Syndicate uniforms while Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata are using their Henshin, also known as Transformation Jutsu, to look like the ‘foot soldiers’ of Leblanc’s organization. The six infiltrators are inside central hall where it looks like it was dug under the trunk and roots of the tallest and thickest trees on Earth since the roof seemed by made of massive tree roots.

Rikku says, “Another smashing success!”

Hinata says, amazed, “Wow.”

Naruto says, “Not bad. Another typical ‘evil villain stronghold’.”

Paine says, “Yeah, but let’s not forget that we’re not done yet. Getting in was stage one and now, we move onto stage two.”

Sakura says, with a nod, “Right. We got to find the sphere.”

Hinata asks, curiously, “Where could it be?” As if to answer Hinata’s question, the doors leading to another room on the lower floor start to open in which our six infiltrations stand at attention on either side of the door with Yuna, Rikku, and Paine on one side with Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata on the other in which none other than Leblanc and Nooj are coming out of the room.

Sakura thinks in her mind, seriously, “Hey, that’s the leader of the Youth League: Nooj! What’s he doing here?”

After Leblanc and Nooj come out, Nooj says, “Thank you, Leblanc.”

Leblanc says, in a seductive tone, “Anything for you, love.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, exasperated, “Oh, boy!” Sakura can’t help to think the same thing as Naruto at this moment.

Nooj then says, “Now I finally know the location of Vegnagun. Spira is in for a rough ride. Take care.”

Sakura thinks in her mind, “I don’t like the sound of that.”

Leblanc says, in a blissful tone, “Yes, love.”

Naruto and Sakura think at the same time, annoyed, “Oh, brother!”

Nooj exits out of the building and when he is gone, Leblanc says, swooning, “Oh, how long must we be apart? These days without you aren’t easy on me, love.” After sighing, Leblanc walks up to the upper floors.

When she is gone, Hinata says, “I guess we know why she wanted the sphere.”

Sakura says, “We can’t be sure about that Hinata. It could be another sphere.”

Rikku says, “We won’t know until we find it.” Soon after, the group enters the room that Leblanc and Nooj exited where they find themselves within a grand dining hall where they see plenty of lavish utensils, things similar to Earth’s fine China plates, bowels, and cups, and exotic-looking fruits. Just then the six of them noticed none other than Ormi and Logos at the top left corner of the room in which Hinata makes a motion to point them out where the others nod their heads in understanding in which Yuna goes over to listen in while the others spread out to lessen the suspicion on themselves.

Ormi then asks, “The boss is a different person when that Nooj guy shows up, huh?”

Logos says, “Suppressing her natural charm and acting like a housewife. She must be tense.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “More like some high school fangirl.”

Logos then looks at Yuna and he tells her, “You, go the boss’ chambers and tend to your duties.”

Yuna asks, nervously, “What duties?”

Sakura thinks in her mind, nervously, “Uh oh.” Naruto and Hinata also mentally flinch from this.

Ormi responds, “You know, use your talents to help her…unwind.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, nervously, “Great.” Not wanting for Ormi and Logos to get suspicious, Yuna has no choice, but to leave the room.

Rikku thinks in her mind, “Be careful, Yunie.” On the meanwhile, Logos goes over to Naruto.

Logos tells Naruto, “You. What’s the report from the field?”

Naruto responds, trying to remain calm while trying to sound like a ‘goon’ of Leblanc’s organization, “More trouble for the Dullwings, sir.”

Ormi asks, annoyed, “Them again?”

Naruto says, “Tell me about it! We get one over on them and they throw a hissy fit!”

Logos says, “It shows how petty that they really are.” Rikku glares at Ormi and Logos, but Paine signals her not to say or do anything.

Ormi tells Naruto, with a grin, “Don’t worry, we’ll be getting them back soon enough!”

Logos says, plainly, “However, we have more important things to do than worry about them.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “Like what sir?”

Logos tells Naruto, plainly, “That’s above your pay grade.”
Naruto thinks in his mind, annoyed, “Jerk.”

Logos tells Ormi, “Hopefully, by now, the boss has relaxed enough to tell us that important she wanted us to learn.”

Ormi says, with a nod, “Yeah.”

Logs tells Rikku, Paine, Sakura, Hinata, and Naruto, “And all of you keep an eye on things around here. No one is to enter the room without permission.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “You got it, boss.” Logos and Ormi then walk out of the room, leaving our five infiltrators alone in the room.

Hinata says, “We did it.”

Paine says, plainly, “So far.”

Naruto says, “Hey, don’t say such things. That’s just asking for trouble, believe it.”

Sakura says, plainly, “Anyway, let’s look around to see if we can find anything.”

Hinata asks, curiously, “What about Yuna?”

Rikku tells Hinata, confidently, “Yunie is a big girl! She can take care of herself!”

Paine says, plainly, “Let’s get looking.”

Hinata asks, curiously, “But this is a dining hall. What will we find around here?”

Rikku says, with a grin, “We’re in the bad guys hideout! There has to be secret passages and stuff in here!”

Naruto tells Hinata, “Hinata, use your Byakugan!”

Hinata says, with a nod, “Good idea, Naruto-kun.” Hinata activates her Byakugan causing her to say, “Rikku is right. There is a secret passage.”

Paine asks, curiously and surprised, “Really?”

Hinata says, pointing to the backwall of the room, “Yes, there is a secret stairway leading into a series of passages underground.”

Rikku says, excitedly, “Ooh, perfect! That sounds like the place that these goons would hide treasure!”

Paine says, plainly, “The question is about how do we access those passageways.”

Rikku says, with a confident tone, “That’s simple! We find the secret switch!”

Sakura asks Rikku, “Do you have any idea where the switch would be?”

Rikku says, nervously, “Well…” Just then everyone hears the door open and they see someone dressed like a female member of Leblanc’s organization enter the room.

However, this person then says, in Yuna’s voice, “Sorry that I took so long everyone.”

The others in the room breathe a sigh of relief in which Paine says, “You should be careful, Yuna. If it weren’t us in here, your cover would have been blown.”

Yuna says, nervously, “Oh, right! Oops!”

Sakura says, “Anyway, we have found that there are secret passages behind that wall.”

When Sakura points to the backwall, Yuna asks, curiously, “Really?”

Rikku says, excitedly, “That’s right! Hinata uses her awesome x-ray eyes to find it with ease!”

Hinata says, a bit nervously, “My eyes are more than ‘x-ray eyes’…”

Sakura says, “While we may have found it, we still don’t know how to access it.”

Naruto says, plainly, “Well, without blowing up the wall and obviously bringing everyone in here, especially Leblanc and her two goons, down on us.”

Sakura tells Naruto, “Obviously, Naruto.”

Yuna says, “Maybe that’s what switch at the back of the living room is for.”

Everyone else looks at Yuna causing Hinata to ask, “Switch?”

Yuna says, with a nod, “Yeah. Logos and Ormi ‘assigned’ me to make sure that the switch is working. It could be the switch for that secret passageway.”

Paine asks, in a plain and sarcastic manner, “What else would a secret switch be used for?”

Rikku says, excitedly, “Anyway, let’s find that switch!”

Hinata says, pointing to a section of the backwall, “It is right over there. I saw it with my Byakugan along with the secret passageway.”

Paine asks Hinata, “Could you have said something earlier?” Hinata gives a nervous rub of her head while Yuna goes over to a section of wall, a panel slides away to reveal a sphere-like switch, and when Yuna activates it, a huge shield-like statue lifts up to reveal part of the wall that it was covering…seemly.

Rikku asks, annoyed, “Huh? That’s it?”

Naruto says, annoyed, “That can’t be right! What a letdown!”

Sakura says, plainly, “It could be part of a two-step system. One switch brings up that statue and another switch opens up the wall itself.”

Paine says, with a nod of her head, “That’s a possibility.” Rikku, annoyed, pounds the wall with her fist and was about to kick the wall, but then the wall along with the floor in front of it rotates to the right causing her to fall into the passageway and down a small set of stairs where she lands on the ground with a ‘thud’.

Yuna, Paine, Sakura, Hinata, and Naruto say in unison, concerned, “Rikku!” All five of them run down towards Rikku where she regains her senses and rubs her sore bottom.

Rikku whines out, “Whose idea was that?”

Paine says, “Take it up with the boss.”

Yuna asks, curiously, “Boss?”

Sakura tells Yuna, “She was being sarcastic Yuna.”

Yuna says, with a nod of understanding, “Oh.”

Paine clears her throat causing her to say, “Yeah, but let’s take these off. Let’s change.”

Sakura grabs Naruto causing her to say, “Back upstairs, Naruto.”

Naruto asks, annoyed, “Who do you think I am?”

Sakura responds, slyly, “A guy.” Soon after, Sakura drags Naruto away back to the dining hall with Hinata where all three of them drop their Henges after they were out of sight of Yuna, Rikku, and Paine.

After about a minute, Rikku yells out, excitedly, “We’re done!” When Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata get back inside of the secret passage, Yuna, Rikku, and Paine are back in their ‘classic outfits’.

Sakura says, “That was fast.”

Paine says, “Dresspheres.”

Rikku asks, looking at Naruto slyly, “Disappointed?”

Naruto responds, shaking his head, “No!”

Hinata tells Rikku, kindly, “Come on, Rikku…”

The group start to venture forth, but then Brother’s voice comes over their comms, in a loud voice, “This is Brother! How’s it going?”
Rikku says, irritated while trying to stay quiet, “Be quiet! This is a covert operation. Over and out.”

Brother shouts out, angrily, “Rikku! How dare you speak to your leader like that!”

Rikku says, irritated, “Ooh, shut up already!”

Ormi’s voice then booms out, “Huh? Who’s there?” Everyone looks to see Ormi come up to them causing him to exclaim, “Ah, the Gullwings!”

Yuna says, nervously, “Uh oh!” Soon enough, Ormi and several goons, one female goon, one male goon, and an ‘elite’ male goon known as Doctor Goon, are assembled against our six infiltrators causing Sakura to mentally roll her eyes.

Sakura thinks in her mind, “Six against four? Has we beat their brains out or what?” The battle starts off bad for Ormi and his three ‘soldiers’ where the three ‘goons’ are defeated in a quick fashion leaving Ormi alone to face off against the group from the Gullwings.

Ormi says, with a snarl, “I don’t need those idiots to beat you!” Ormi tosses his shield and he shouts out, “Here catch!” The shield heads straight for Yuna, but Naruto catches it with ease causing Ormi to ask, shocked, “What the?!”

Rikku says, excitedly, “Nice!” Hinata then comes in with her Gentle Fist style and while Ormi has no chakra points to seal, Hinata’s strikes still deal significant damage.

Sakura says, “Naruto, pass it here!”

Naruto says, “You got it!” Naruto then throws Ormi’s shield over to Sakura and Sakura roars out as she throws the shield right back at Ormi in which it misses Ormi where it implants itself in the wall by him with half of it going inside of the wall causing Ormi’s, Rikku’s, and Yuna’s eyes to bug out causing them to hesitate in which Paine, Hinata, and Naruto took advantage where they hit Ormi with such force that he gets flung into the wall where he hits the wall with such force that an imprint of Ormi into the wall where he is stunned. Naruto says, with a grin, “And you’re out!”

Paine says, with a smirk, “Nice work!”

Rikku tells Sakura, nervously, “Man, I keep forgetting of your incredible strength.”

Sakura says, with a sly smirk, “You better.”

Paine says, “We have more important things to worry about.”

Yuna asks, curiously, “Really?”

Sakura says, pointing to the stunned Ormi, “Yeah, him. We’re now exposed and even if we tie him up, there are going to be people looking for him. We don’t have time to waste.”

Paine says, “We are in enemy territory and even if we call in reinforcements, they may get to us, but this is going to cause a major mess, here, in Guadosalam. Something that we don’t need right now.”

Hinata says, nodding her head, “I agree. We had better hurry.” The others nod their heads in agreement in which they head off deeper into the underground where they raid a room before they encounter a patrol of a pair of Doctor Goons and female goons.

One of the Doctor Goons yell out, “Hey, what are you doing here?”

Naruto responds, “Nothing much, but you are leaving now!” Immediately, our group attacks the patrol and needless to say, it is completely a one-sided fight where our group from the Celsius easily defeated the patrol where they quickly moved on until they find themselves in another room down the hall. Inside of the room, they find a bed in the center by two shelves, a pair of guns hanging over the bed, a chair in front of a small table, and long couch-like seating that extends from end to the end on either side of the room.

Hinata asks, “Whose room is this?”

Sakura says, pointing to the guns hanging over the bed, “I’m betting that it is that gun guy.”

Naruto says, nodding his head in agreement, “I would agree with you, Sakura.”

Rikku says, pointing to one of the tables in the room, “Take a look at that!” Everyone looks to where Rikku is pointing to see a sphere sitting on one of the tables in which they go up to the sphere causing Rikku to say, “That isn’t the sphere that they stole.”

Sakura tells Rikku, shaking her head, “Nope. Take a look. It is completely undamaged, Rikku. It doesn’t look like two halves of a sphere put together.”

Hinata says, “That means that it is a different sphere.”

Rikku says, excitedly, “Let’s see what it contains!”

Hinata asks, curiously, “Are you sure?”

Rikku tells Hinata, “Hey, they stole from us! All’s fair, right?”

Sakura says, with a nod, “I agree with Rikku. Plus, we need to make sure that the information on this sphere isn’t dangerous.”

Paine says, with a plain tone, “Good point.” The group then activates the sphere and views what’s contained inside where they see what looks like the inside of the cave with people’s bodies where they hear Ormi mentions about a ‘selection’ for a Crimson Squad with no survivors while Logos mentions that three candidates and their ‘recorder’ managed to survive with a third ‘voice’ commanding them to ‘fix it’.

When the video is done, Hinata asks, curiously, “Crimson Squad?”

Naruto asks Yuna, “You heard of it, Yuna?”

Yuna says, curiously, “No, I haven’t.”

Paine says, plainly, “It’s a dud.”

Just then Logos’ voice says, “Only naughty boys and girls would scrounge through other people’s bedrooms.” Everyone turns to the source of Logos’ voice to find him and Ormi at the door to the room.

Rikku retorts, accusingly, “What about you? You were the ones that broke into our airship!”

Logos and Ormi gets into defensive stances causing Logos to say, “The boss’ orders are permission enough!”

Naruto says, irritated, “That’s not permission and you know it, jerk!”

Sakura tells Naruto, plainly, “Don’t even bother, Naruto.”

Naruto says, with a sigh, “Yeah, you have a point.”

Paine says, plainly, “Let’s beat them up and get it over with already.”
Ormi says, with a scoff, “You? Beat us? Ha! That’s laugh!”

Sakura retorts, with a smirk, “Says the guy that we made an imprint in the wall with!”

Ormi says, with an irritated snarl, “You just got the drop of me, that’s all!”

Naruto says, with a foxy grin, “And we keep getting the ‘drop on you’ over and over again! I keep forgetting how many times that’s happened!”

Rikku says, slyly, “Same here, Naruto! I can’t help enjoying all of those good memories!”

Ormi gives an enraged snarl causing Logos to tell Ormi, “Calm down. This time, we are the ones that have the drop on them. They are trapped like rats.”

Ormi says, with a malicious grin, “Oh, yeah! You’re right!”

Naruto asks, with a foxy smirk, “Are you so sure?” Naruto then uses his Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu and creates about one dozen Shadow Clones in which before Ormi and Logos could do or say anything, the Shadow Clones ram into both Logos and Ormi out of the room.

Rikku says, excitedly, “Awesome! Way to go! Now, let’s go get them!”

Naruto says, with a wide smirk, “Not so fast, Rikku! Just give a moment!”

Paine asks, curiously, “Give what a moment?” Just then there is a loud explosion-like ‘bang’ from outside of the room in which plenty of smoke enter the room.

Yuna asks, confused, “What was that?”

Sakura and Hinata look at Naruto, surprised, causing Sakura to ask Naruto, “When did you learn to use Exploding Shadow Clone Jutsu?”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Remember, Sakura-chan? I’m the most unpredictable ninja ever!”

Hinata asks, curiously, “Are you okay, Naruto-kun?”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Yeah, but it doesn’t mean that jutsu doesn’t come with its backlash. Remember, you remember experiences that your Shadow Clones go through after all.”

Sakura says, with a nod, “No joke.”

Yuna asks, curiously, “Do you think that they are okay?”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Don’t worry! My clones didn’t use full powered version, so, they aren’t really hurt…much.”

Rikku says, with a sly mocking tone, “Oh, nuts! I mean…that’s right!”

Paine says, plainly, “Next time…maximum power.” Just then there is an alarm heard causing Rikku, Naruto, and Hinata to yelp.

Rikku yells out, surprised, “What the heck was that?’

Naruto says, “Something tells me that isn’t good.”

Sakura says, sarcastically, “No kidding, Naruto.”

Paine says, plainly, “I figured that they activated some kind of security system while also sounding the intruder alarms.”

Naruto says, nervously, “Well, crud.”

Hinata says, “We need to hurry!”

Sakura says, with a nod, “No joke!” The group immediately exits out of the room, revealed to be the bedroom of either Ormi or Logos, where they go down another hallway, taking down another group of goons and battle machina known as Battlemechs, along the way in which they reach what looks like an intersection where there is a drop on the right with high ledge on the left.

Naruto says, “Well, we know where we are going.” Naruto, Hinata, and Sakura use their enhanced abilities to leap up to the high ledge where they help up Yuna, Rikku, and Paine onto the ledge where they prepare to go onto another ledge, but then Hinata sees something against the wall down in the area in-between the two ledges.

Hinata asks, curiously while pointing, “What’s that?” Everyone looks to where Hinata is pointing and they see the ‘object’ in the wall.

Sakura asks, curiously, “What’s that?”

Yuna says, curiously, “It looks like a sphere.” The group drops down and they look at the sphere ingrained into the wall.

Naruto asks, curiously, “What do you think that it does?”

Sakura says, with a plain tone, “If these people are like your typical goofy villains like back in fiction on Earth, it could be connected to the security system.”

Hinata says, with a plain tone, “You could be right.”

Paine says, “I don’t know about stories on your world, but something about what you said makes senses…since it is them.”

Yuna asks, curiously, “Should I push it?”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Go for it!” Yuna does so and it glows in which they get onto the next ledge where they find that in-between that ledge another ledge is another sphere ‘switch’ where they push. But when they get to the final ledge and go up a hallway towards a wall, a panel filled with a lot of massive spikes drops down and starts to head towards them.

Sakura shouts out, flabbergasted, “You have got to be kidding me!”

Naruto yells out, worriedly, “Well, I’m not laughing!”

Paine says, seriously, “Run!” Immediately, all of them start taking off to get away from the spikes in which with their ninja speed and agility, Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata make it back to the intersection and get into the hallway, but Yuna, Rikku, and Paine weren’t that quick and they were forced to go down the hall and go into the drop.

Hinata says, worriedly, “Oh no!”

Naruto says, “Let’s get over there!” Immediately, the three shinobi run back into the hallway and going to the edge of the drop.

Hinata asks, looking for any sign of Yuna, Rikku, and/or Paine, “Do you see any of them?”

Naruto says, shaking his head, “No, I don’t!”

Just then Rikku’s voice shouts out, “Hey!” When the three shinobi look up to the source of Rikku’s voice, they find the three Spira natives looking down from hidden ledge in the wall nearby.

Sakura asks, confused, “How did you get up there?”

Paine says, “Turns out that there was a hidden passage down there that was activated by that security system.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “Seriously?”

Rikku says, with a nod, “Yep! Turns out the final security switch is up here!”

Sakura asks, seriously, “Well, what are you waiting for?”

Paine responds, plainly, “We just pushed it.”

Sakura says, nervously, “Oh.”

Naruto says, excitedly, “Well, time to come on down!”

Rikku says, excitedly, “You got it, foxy! Look out below!” Rikku, Paine, and Yuna then leap down from the edge back down in which they, along with the three shinobi, return to the wall where the wall of spikes came down from in which they find another sphere-like switch.

Hinata asks, curiously, “What do you think?”

Naruto says, with a shrug, “I say: Why not? We must have disabled the traps since the wall of spikes isn’t chasing after us.”

Yuna says, nodding her head in agreement, “That’s a good point.”

Rikku asks, with an annoyed expression, “Then what are we waiting for?! Let’s do this thing already!” Soon enough, Yuna pushes the switch and the wall to their left starts to slide open.

Naruto asks, slyly, “What do we have here?”

Sakura says, with a sigh, “Not surprising.”

Paine says, plainly, “Let’s go.” The group then goes down the revealed secret passageway until they reach a room where they start to look around.

Naruto asks, curiously, “Is this it?”

Rikku says, “It has got to be!”

Sakura says, with a nod of her head, “I have to agree with Rikku. This room has to have been hidden for a reason.”

Paine says, with a nod of her head, “Agreed. Let’s look.” However, after a brief look around, the group finds their half-sphere along with similar half.

Rikku and Paine shout at the same time, “Found it!”

Yuna asks, surprised, “Huh?” Soon enough, Yuna has both halves of the sphere in her hands.

Hinata says, “I guess that our theory was right.”

Sakura says, with a nod, “Yep! They had the other half of the sphere!”

Just then familiar female voice says, “Very good loves!” The group then looks to the source of the female voice to find Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi staring them down by the door. Leblanc then says, “I went through a lot of trouble gathering those pieces. All for Noojie-Woojie. So, don’t you lay a finger on it! Let’s get them boys!”

Logos and Ormi respond in unison, “Yes, boss!”

Sakura thinks in her mind, with a deadpan tone, “Noojie-Woojie?! Seriously?!” Sakura then uses her super-strength to create a shockwave that knocks Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi out of the room and that allows Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, Paine, Rikku, and Yuna to leave the room and fight out in the hallways.

Leblanc shouts out, irritated, “How dare you? Ooh, this is why I don’t want to deal with country bumpkins like you! Especially the pink haired ape over there!” That ‘strikes’ Sakura causing her anger to rise in which Hinata, and Naruto give nervous expression as everyone else feels that the temperature in the area drop by a few degrees.

Naruto thinks in his mind, nervously, “Oh, boy! Now that bitch really did it!”

Hinata thinks in her mind, nervously, “Uh oh!” Plenty of the others look to see Sakura’s head lowered, covering her eyes, but her lips are twisted into an angered going on enraged snarl.

Rikku asks, nervously, “Why does it feel a bit colder in here?”

Yuna says, nervously, “Maybe we should…step back…” Yuna, Rikku, and even Paine take a step back away from Sakura with Naruto and Hinata stepping aside from Sakura causing Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi to feel a deadly chill down their spines.

Sakura then says, with a slow dangerously enraged tone of voice, “Who do you…think you are…calling me an ape…YOU DAMNED SLUT! CHA!!” When Sakura raises her head, she is showing so much KI that if looks could kill, Leblanc and her two lieutenants would be dead dozens of times over in which Sakura charges them with inhuman speed where Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi only have time to scream out in fear as Sakura charges into them where the next minute or so is filled with Sakura screaming in fury and rage, Leblanc, Ormi, and Logos screaming in pain and agony, and the sounds of a horrific one-sided beating going on. When it ends, we find Sakura standing with her arms crossed over the fallen forms of Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi, who are piled on top of each other, unconscious, and…needless to say, they looked like that they got mauled by a pack of bull to say the least.

Yuna, Paine, Rikku, Naruto, and Hinata look at this displays, nervously, though for different reasons, causing Naruto to say, with a nervous smile, “Well, I guess we won.”

Paine says, plainly, “That’s for sure.”

Rikku tells Naruto and Hinata, nervously, “Remind me to never…NEVER get Sakura mad at me ever.”

Hinata nervously giggles causing her to say, “Y-Yes, Rikku.” Within Naruto, a certain nine-tailed Biju is laughing up a storm causing Naruto a slight annoyance.

Yuna asks, curiously, “So, what do we do now?”

Paine says, “We got what we came for and we won.”

Hinata asks, looking at the sphere, “What do you think is on it?”

Naruto says, “Maybe we should watch it. We need an explanation after all.”

Rikku says, with a nod, “Good idea.” Soon enough, the group looks at the recording within the recombined sphere where it shows what looks like a massive enclosed chamber where a familiar sinister looking colossus guarded by some soldiers.

Sakura comments, plainly, “That looks familiar.”

Naruto says, with a nod of understand, “VERY familiar.”

Hinata says, “The colossus in the sphere that we obtained that was from Kilika Temple. The one that we gave to Nooj and the Youth League.”

Sakura says, “Then it isn’t surprising that Nooj would be interested in this sphere.”

Paine says, nodding her head in agreement, “Agreed.”

Naruto asks, curiously while remembering something, “Hold up! When we saw Nooj, he told Leblanc that he knew where to find this thing, right?”

Yuna says, with a nod, “Yes, you’re right.”

Sakura says, plainly, “Well, I don’t see anything that tells us where it is.”

Paine says, “If we analyze the sphere, we can find where it was recorded.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Oh, yeah! Good idea!”

Paine says, looking at the unconscious Leblanc and her two ‘aids’, “Or we could…”

Everyone looks at the unconscious trio causing Rikku to ask, annoyed, “Can’t we leave them unconscious, take the sphere, and get back to the others?”

Sakura says, with a nod of her head, “I can’t believe that I’m saying this: But we need to listen to Rikku.” Rikku looks at Sakura in surprise causing Sakura to give an exasperated look.

Hinata says, plainly, “Sakura…”

Sakura says, with a sigh, “All right.” Sakura stretches her arms and prepares her medical jutsu with Yuna switching to her White Mage Dressphere to help Sakura heal Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi to interrogate them to get the information that they needed. A bit later on, we find Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi, in which Logos and Ormi don’t have their weapons, Logos’ pistols and Ormi’s shield, where all three of them have their skills and abilities ‘sealed’, thanks to special device created by Shinra, Izzy, and Ami, face-to-face with our team.

Naruto asks, seriously, “Okay, you jokers! You had plenty of time to scan this sphere! You know something about it that we don’t! Time to talk!”

Paine tells Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi, “And thanks to us being deep in their ‘secret area’ of your base and Naruto making sure that there is no chance of a sound getting through…”

Paine reaches for her sword causing Leblanc says, “Fine! Fine! I’ll tell you what we know!”

Sakura says, with a sinister grin and cracking her knuckles, “That’s good to know. You wouldn’t to have a repeat of what happened when you called me an ape, right? I don’t think that you do.” Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi shiver in fear from threat of Sakura’s words.

Leblanc says, “From what we analyzed from the sphere, it was recorded beneath Bevelle.”

Rikku says, with a groan of annoyance, “We should have known!”

Paine says, plainly, “It seems like Bevelle hasn’t lost its old fondness for secrets.”

Leblanc says, “Exactly. Those Yevon scum have been concealing that weapon all along. If anyone uses that thing, Spira is done for.”

Hinata asks, curiously, “You really think that it is that powerful?”

Leblanc tells Hinata, “You really need to get those eyes examined. Look at it. It is massive. It is like Sin in a machine form!”

Rikku says, “But it is a machine, right? All we need to do is shaky-shake our way up to it and take it apart.”

Leblanc says, “That’s what Noojie has got in mind. And of course, what he is planning is what I’m planning.”

Naruto and Sakura think in unison, annoyed, “Oh, brother!”

Sakura says, plainly, “Do you really think that it will be that easy? If this thing is as powerful and dangerous as you say, they are going to keep it guarded in a very secure location. You may have an organization, but if New Yevon has plenty of the ‘assets’ of the ‘old Yevon’, they must have plenty of the ‘warrior monks’ and other ‘former soldiers’ on their sides. Plus, this is their ‘home base’ and that means that it is their home territory.”

Leblanc says, with a snarl, “I know that! I’m not an idiot!”

Sakura thinks in her mind, slyly, “That’s left up for debate.”

Leblanc then asks Yuna, “And what about you?”

Yuna asks, surprised, “Me?”

Leblanc responds, “The High Summoner that who defeated Sin, once and for all, ought to stand up for Spira once again.”

Naruto asks, seriously, “Wait a minute here! When did it become Yuna’s job?”

Sakura says, seriously, “Like you said, Yuna went through heck and then some to save all of Spira! She deserves her own life!”

Yuna tells Sakura, “Thank you for being so considerate, Sakura, but…Leblanc has a point. If that thing gets loose, it may be Sin all over again. Maybe even worse. Much worse.”

Leblanc says, “Then I guess you and I are on the same page and the same side. We’ll be waiting for you.”
Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi turn to leave causing Paine to ask, “Waiting where?”

Leblanc retorts, “Don’t be silly, love. On your airship, of course. I’ve always wanted to take a spin on that thing.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “When did we give you permission to go aboard our ship?”

Rikku shouts out, irritated, “Yep, that’s right! Ever heard of asking?” Leblanc doesn’t reply as she, Logos, and Ormi take off with Rikku right on their heels.

Hinata says, nervously, “I guess not.”

Sakura says, irritated, “No joke, Hinata.” Yuna gives a solemn expression causing Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, and Paine to look at her.

Hinata asks Yuna, “Are you okay?”

Yuna doesn’t reply for a few moments and she then says, with a sigh, “I…I wish that I could say yes. The ‘Eternal Calm’. This peace was supposed to last forever…”

Sakura tells Yuna, “I hate to break it to you, Yuna, but that’s not going to happen.” When Yuna and Paine look at Sakura, she tells them, “Peaceful times may last a long time. They may last years…decades…and even centuries and then some, but as long as living beings live, there is going to be conflict sooner or later. Humans may not be the ones that start it, but they may have to finish it. It is like they say: ‘Winning the war is one thing, but winning the peace is another.’ It is a fact of life.”

Paine says, with a plain tone, “I agree. You can’t take peace for granted.”

Yuna says, with a light smile, “Yes, you are right. We can’t let the peace that our world has wanted for one thousand years to be ended like this.”

Naruto says, with a nod and kind smile, “Believe it, Yuna.”

Hinata says, with a smile, “And you have our support the whole way.”

Paine tells Hinata, “Are you sure?”

Naruto says, with a smile, “I think that the others will agree with us.”

Sakura says, with a smile, “We’re the kind of people that doesn’t leave people in need.”
Yuna says, with a kind smile, “Thank you.”

Sakura says, “Anyway, we should catch up with the others.”

Paine says, with a plain tone, “Good idea.” Soon enough, Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, Yuna, and Paine quickly follow after Rikku, Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi while Sakura uses the communication link with the Celsius and the others to inform them of what’s happening as well as what’s going on. Needless to say, a number of the others, including a brother of Rikku, aren’t too happy about Leblanc and her two ‘right-hands’ coming aboard the ship.

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Celsius

Back aboard the Celsius, we find our heroes and heroines reassembled together on the bridge with Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Shinra, Brother, and Buddy as they discuss what’s up.

Yolei says, annoyed, “I don’t like this.”

Kari tells Yolei, “We understand, Yolei.”

Tai asks, annoyed, “Why do we have to let them on board?”

Matt says, “We didn’t let them on board. They got on board so fast that we didn’t have time to stop them.”

Rika says, annoyed, “Well, I’m with Yolei at this point here. We shouldn’t trust them much less have them aboard the ship.”

Yolei says, with a nod, “That’s right! What do we need to have them aboard? Now that we know where that ‘doomsday machine’ is, we can handle it on our own!”
Leblanc’s voice booms out, “Your ‘annoyances’ against us were just luck and us dropping our guard!” Everyone looks to see Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi emerge from the entrance/exit of the bridge and walking onto the platform causing her to shout out, “Now, first things first! We’re going to Bevelle! Full speed ahead!”

As Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi leap down in front of our heroes and heroines, Yolei yells out, annoyed, “Hey, who died and made your captain? Not me!”

Brother shouts out, sternly, “Indeed! I am captain and we go where I say we go!” Brother then asks Yuna, “Yuna, what’s next?”

Plenty of the others deadpan causing Davis to think in his mind, nervously, “Seriously, dude?”

Leblanc says, “She is off the save Spira of course!”

Naruto says, serious and annoyed tone, “Yuna can speak for herself, Leblanc!”

Rikku says, with a nod, “Yeah, that’s right!” Rikku then says, with a sigh, “But…Yunie. Yunie.”

Paine says, “Always getting herself dragged into trouble.”

Kari says, looking at Tai and Davis, “Yeah, we know a couple of guys that tend to do that.”

Matt says, glancing at Kazuto with Tai and Davis, “That’s for sure.”

Tai and Davis nervously rub their scalps in which Michelle says, looking at Amara with a sly smile on her face, “Indeed.”

Amara says, with an embarrassed tone, “Michelle!”

Michelle gives a ‘cute’ giggle causing her to say, “You aren’t denying it, Amara-chan.”

Yuna tells Rikku and Paine, “It isn’t the same! We’re going to Bevelle! There should be lots of spheres there! Who’s to say that we can’t hunt for them on the side?”

Rikku and Paine give looks that show that they weren’t convinced where Leblanc says, “Just admit it, love. You are a goody-goody.”

Yuna gives an indignant glare at Leblanc and Rika tells Leblanc, annoyed, “No mouthing off from the peanut gallery!”

Yolei says, annoyed, “Be glad that we don’t throw you and your goons off the ship!”

Logos says, “Big talk from a little girl.” Logos asks, with a plain tone, “What’s stopping us from taking this ship for ourselves?”

Ormi says, “Yeah, we managed to sneak in before!”

Naruto asks, with a foxy smirk, “You really want to go there?” Naruto and Hinata look at Sakura, who gives a real wide sinister smile and cracks her knuckles along with a glare that has a hint of KI putting the fear in Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi causing them to flinch.

Leblanc says, nervously, “N-No!” Leblanc then clears her throat causing her to say, regaining her composer, “Anyway, we have work to do! Off to Bevelle!”

Brother shouts out, irritated, “I am the captain and I give out the orders!”

Paine asks, plainly, “So, what are your orders, captain?”

Brother says, “Next stop: Bevelle!”

Rika asks, with a deadpan expression, “Really?”

Kazuto says, “Personally, I think that we should go none the less.”

Darien says, with a nod, “That weapon seemed to be very dangerous and we can’t ignore it.”

Serena says, nodding her head, “I agree with you and Kazuto.”

Suguha says, nodding her head in agreement, “No joke. Plus, we might find something that we can figure out that other sphere that we found.”

Leblanc asks, curiously, “Other sphere?”

Naruto and Sakura shout out in unison, “Just don’t already!”

Leblanc says, pointing to Suguha, “Her fault for mentioning it, love.” Suguha gives an annoyed expression at Leblanc while Leblanc says, “But we have more important things to do at Bevelle! Let’s move it already!”

Raye says, annoyed, “Let’s just get going before we get stuck arguing all day.”

Yuna nods her head causing her to say, “Brother, full speed ahead to Bevelle please!”

Brother says, excitedly, “Your wish is my command, Yuna!” Brother yells out excitedly as he leaps into his cockpit seat while Rikku, Buddy, and a number of the others can only shake their heads in exasperation at Brother’s ‘antics’.

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Bevelle

On the Highbridge, the path to Bevelle Temple, we find Yuna, Rikku, Paine, and our heroes and heroines assembled together at the far end of the path to Bevelle Temple, the current headquarters of New Yevon.

Rikku asks Yuna, “So, how are we going to do this?”

Matt says, “It isn’t going to be easy.”

Kazuto says, “Since we gave the sphere in Kilika to the Youth League, it is a fact that New Yevon will be hostile to us.”

Yolei says, “So, basically forget about a diplomatic solution.”

Serena says, with a sigh, “I guess so.”

Darien gives Serena a comforting smile causing Keiko to ask, “Then what is our plan?”

Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi come over where Leblanc says, “Simple, little girl! We get the head honcho, that’s what!”

Yolei asks, a bit annoyed, “Seriously?”

Leblanc says, with a plain tone, “Yes, seriously. We nab him, make him tell where Vegnagun is, and then checkmate!”

Amara asks, with a plain tone, “Do you really think that it will be that easy?”

Shino says, plainly, “While you are most likely right to say that as the leader of New Yevon and a former member of the ‘previous government’, he would know where it is. You are right to say that, but the thing is…he is the leader of this group.”

Davis says, “Something tells me that this guy won’t be ‘bound and gagged’ so easily.”

Tai says, with a nod of his head, “Yeah, I get that feeling too Davis.”

Ormi says, “Well, I have no problem with it. The target is the New Yevon praetor, Baralai!”

Logos says, “You, lot, may be cautious, but I know that a girly man like him is nothing without his escort.”

Lita asks, curiously, “Girly man?”

Amara says, “Something tells me that you are wrong about that.”

Paine says, with a nod, “That’s right.” When everyone looks at Paine, she says, motioning to in front of them, “Company.” Everyone looks in front of them to find a group of New Yevon guards in front of them.
One of them yells out, in a stern tone, “Who goes there?”

Another one says, “It’s those Youth League spies! We won’t have them defile this place like they did in Kilika!”

As the guards point their weapons at the group, Naruto says, with a deadpan look, “That went to crap fast.”

Sakura says, with an annoyed look, “No kidding.”

Leblanc says, nervously, “Well, good luck!” Yuna turns to look behind her in which plenty of the others look behind them to see Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi running away.

Yuna asks, stunned, “Good luck?!”

Sakura shouts out, irritated, “Traitorous bitch!”

Rika yells out, sternly, “What did you expect from a coward like her?”

Lita says, “Here they come!” Immediately, our group turns to fight, plenty of the females, including Yuna, Rikku, and Paine, prepare their dresspheres for the fight of their lives as they prepare to infiltrate Bevelle Temple and fight against New Yevon to find Vegnagun and end its threat before it even begins.

Now, I know that this is a short and Naruto-focused ‘chapter’ of this ‘backstory’ in the SMO-verse, but my life has been getting quite…hectic as of late in which it is getting hard to get time to write as well as focus on plot of what I want to write. Plus, I think that if I went any further, I would really go ‘off-base’ with what the title of little ‘bit’ was implying, and I think that would put a good number of you off.
