Well, you knew that this was going to happening sooner or later. You asking: Why? Personally, I’ve seen in all of the animes, the certain groups of monsters, like Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician for example, having a ‘rivalry’ that’s beyond their rivalries of their ‘owners’ like the owners of Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician, Seto Kaiba and Yugi Moto/Atem, respectively. I figure that if someone succeeded in ‘partnership’ with Stardust Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend from Yusei and Jack, it would follow the same ‘situation’. That’s my opinion. What do you think? Sailor Moon Online II: SAO Shippuden

 

(Sword Art Online II music ‘Courage’ starts)

 

As the intro starts, we see images of swords go by and reflected on the blades of the swords are images of Suguha and Leafa with the final reflection from the blades of the sword are Rika, Lisbeth, SAO and ALO forms, Keiko, Silica, SAO and ALO forms, Shion, Sinon, GGO and ALO forms, Kotone, Philia, SAO/SAW and ALO forms, Hiyori, Kuro, and Lux.

 

The next shows Princess Selene then turning into a toddler Suguha Kirigaya, who then ‘ages’ into a 13-year-old Suguha Kirigaya, warping into Suguha Kirigaya of 15-16 years of age, then into Eternal Sailor Celestial, and finally, into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial. As Valkyrie Sailor Celestial turns to the skies to see some unseen sight, Rika, Keiko, Shion/Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori appear behind her.

 

Just then it turns into images of Ancient Egypt of Atem’s time, Atlantis, the original Domino City, Neo Domino City, and ALO before we see Suguha Kirigaya looking at a ‘shooting star’ before she transforms into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial before facing an unknown figure that uses the Seal of Orichalcos that surrounds her and her enemy.

 

Next, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze are seen in two separate images which change where Suguha, then Leafa, and finally, Valkyrie Sailor Celestial are using their kendo/sword techniques. Just then Rika/Lisbeth, Keiko/Silica, Shion/Sinon/Sailor Orion, Kotone/Philia, and Hiyori/Lux are seen before we see Valkyrie Sailor Celestial, using her sword techniques, is joined by Naruto, using his famous Shadow Clones and Rasengan, in this ‘fight demonstration’.

 

Then we find Valkyrie Sailor Moon walking slowly forward until she is face to face with Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them stare at each other before Valkyrie Sailor Celestial brings out Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon (2500/2000) with Valkyrie Sailor Moon brings out Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon (2500/2000) and Clearwing Fast Dragon (2500/2000) in which they go into an epic clash with Valkyrie Sailor Moon and Valkyrie Sailor Celestial clashing blades themselves.

 

The scene changes to Davis and Kazuto, looking a lot like his SAO avatar of Kirito, facing off against Naruto with Naruto bring out Red Nova Dragon (3500/3000) and Stardust Chronicle Spark Dragon (3000/2500) while Kazuto brings out Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity (4000/3500) and Davis brings out Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500) along with the other Signer and Duel Dragons in which they launch into an epic titanic fight.

 

Just then we see Sailor Celestial, Sailor Orion, Lisbeth, Silica, Philia, and Lux engaged by a legion of opponents including monsters from ALO and Duel Monsters which they fight and defeat, but then a mysterious figure brings out the Divine Serpent used by Dartz, but Sailor Celestial, Lisbeth, and Silica bring out the three Legendary Dragons, Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos, and they transform into their true forms: The Legendary Knights of Atlantis where they defeat the Divine Serpent.

 

Naruto and Sailor Celestial are back to back surrounded by Sakura, Hinata, Rika, Keiko, Sailor Orion, Kotone, and Hiyori as a powerful circle brings for the three Aesir, Thor, Loki, and Odin as well as the three Egyptian God Monsters: Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra in which all of them unleash an incredible attack creating a massive bright light. From that light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) emerges along with the Crimson Dragon.

 

The scene then switches to images of Yugi Moto, Pharaoh Atem, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler, Dartz, and more before switching to our heroes and heroines with images of Neo Domino City, Aincrad/SAO, ALO, the Elemental Countries including the Leaf Village, and more as images of Suguha and Naruto from childhood into their current years are seen before Suguha turns into Valkyrie Sailor Celestial and the two of them look into the distance.

 

Finally, we have different scenes where we see Naruto training and mastering the Rasengan, Leafa flying through the virtual skies of ALO, Serena becoming Sailor Moon for the first time, and leading to a scene with all of our heroes and heroines, joined by Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata, racing towards some kind of unknown destination in which it finally stop at all of them assembled together flanked by Earth, Atlantis, and the Leaf Village in the background along with the Legendary Dragons/Knights, the Signer and Duel Dragons, the Aesir, and Egyptian God Monsters.

Arc III: Chapter 14: Dragons, Dragons, and…Surprises?!

 

May 24, 2026, Moon Kingdom

 

Within the Moon Kingdom, we find the unconscious forms of Hiyori, Rika, Keiko, and Serena lying down on beds while Ami is surrounded by holographic screens as she looks over the screens. On the meanwhile, on a nearby table, there are two sets of four cards on the tables. One set is Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000), Effect Pendulum Monster card, Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon (2500/2000) XYZ Monster card, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon (2500/2000) Synchro Monster card, and finally, Starve Venom Fusion Dragon (2800/2000) Fusion Monster card. The second set is Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon (2500/2000) Effect Pendulum Monster card, Dark Anthelion Dragon (3000/2500) XYZ-Pendulum Monster card, Clear Wing Fast Dragon (2500/2000) Synchro-Pendulum Monster card, and Starving Venemy Lethal Dose Dragon (2800/2000) Fusion-Pendulum Monster card.

 

Joe says, “They certainly are similar.”

 

Amara says, “Very similar, Joe.”

 

Davis says, “They seem to alternate versions of each other.”

 

Trista says, “And I believe that’s what they are, Davis. I can also feel great power in all of them.”

 

Suguha asks, curiously, “All of them?”

 

Raye says, with a nod, “Yeah, we do. These aren’t ordinary cards.”

 

Tai says, “No joke. We knew that when Suguha first used them against Kayaba at the end of that Sword Art World mess.”

 

Suguha says, plainly, “Don’t remind me, Tai.”

 

Izzy says, “Pendulum Summoning has changed the game of Duel Monsters radically. XYZ Summoning appeared just a few years and now, Pendulum Summoning has come into play.”

 

Yolei says, “Yeah, we were shocked when we first saw XYZ Summoning for the first time.”

 

Mina says, “Well, now, Pendulum Summoning has taken the game and flipped it on its head.”

 

Davis says, looking at Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (2500/2000) Effect Pendulum Monster card, “And we have the card culprit right here.”

 

Molly says, “However, these aren’t normal cards.”

 

Tai says, “Well, that was pretty obvious from the start with the way that they appeared.”

TK says, with a nod, “No kidding, Tai.”

 

Lita asks, “Who and what are these cards?”

 

Amara says, “That’s a really good question, Lita-chan.” Soon after, they hear footsteps and they look to see Kazuto, Kotone, and Sailor Star enter into the room.

 

Suguha says, “Big brother!”

 

Sailor Star says, in a very worried tone upon seeing those that are unconscious, “Serena-chan! Liz! Silica! Hiyori!”

 

Kazuto asks, also seeing the unconscious members of the group, “What happened?” Soon enough, the others explain about what happened and there are looks of shock and/or horror on the faces of the new arrivals.

 

Kotone asks, horrified, “She was forced to relive her worst memories from SAO?”

 

Matt says, with a nod, “Yeah, in that sadistic Shadow Game.”

 

Sailor Star says, horrified, “How horrible.”

 

Suguha says, with a nod, “No kidding, Asuna.”

 

Yolei says, “Yeah, it is no wonder she snapped. A person can take only so much.”

 

Kazuto asks, looking at the cards at the table, “And she created these two new Pendulum cards?”

 

Amara says, “In a way, yeah. Through we can’t be sure that she ‘created’ them.”

 

Kazuto asks Amara, “What makes you say that?”

 

Izzy says, “Since these two new cards, Dark Anthelion Dragon and Starving Venemy Lethal Dose Dragon, seem to be similar to Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon and Starve Venom Fusion Dragon, we think that they are Pendulum versions of those cards, so, they were ‘born’ from the powers of Dark Rebellion and Starve Venom.”

 

Tai says, “And she has used that card before.”

 

Kazuto says, nervously, “Yeah…”

 

Kotone says, nervously when she sees Naruto and his group, “Y-You are…!!”

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “Hey there!”

 

Sailor Star says, shocked, “You!”

 

Naruto tells Sailor Star, “You know, Asuna-san, that’s not nice. I have a name you know? The name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, believe it.”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, with a sigh, “Everyone in the world knows your name, Naruto.”

 

Sailor Star asks, surprised, “What are you doing here?”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “Just a little business.”

 

Amara says, “We learned that Naruto-san has a bit of information on Yuuko and Neo Paradius including possibly bases.”

 

Kotone asks, amazed, “Really?”

 

Naruto asks, with his classic foxy smirk, “Would this mug lie to you?”

 

Hinata says, with a giggle, “Oh, Naruto-kun…”

 

Kazuto says, eyeing the rest of Naruto’s group, “And it seems like you have quite a number of ‘friends’…”

 

Haruka says, with a sly smile, “Well, you can say that we are more than just friends, Kirigaya-san.”

 

Suguha tells Kazuto, “They are shinobis, big brother. However, they are shinobis of our world.”

 

Sailor Star asks, surprised, “Shinobis of our world?”

 

Kotone says, “I remember how Trista-san mentioned about how our world’s ‘ninja society’ works.”

 

Trista says, “The young ladies with Naruto-san, Sakura-san, and Hinata-san are former members of Hebijo, the ‘evil ninja faction’.”

 

Kazuto asks, his eyes narrowing, “Really?”

 

Mirai says, “That’s FORMALLY, you seer-wannabe.”

 

Yomi says, with a smile, “Now, we belong to Naruto-kun’s faction.”

 

Sailor Star asks, curiously, “Really?’

 

Tai says, “It seem like he plans to completely rebuilt the ‘shinobi system’ that we have on our world.”

 

Kotone asks, surprised, “Really?”

 

Kazuto asks Naruto, “Why admit something like that so easily?”

 

Naruto retorts, with a foxy grin, “You know me, I’m the most unpredictable ever. However, I didn’t say HOW I would do it, did I?”

 

Kazuto looks at everyone else, they give a shrug, and he says, with a nod, “I see.”

 

Trista says, “Naruto-san’s way of thinking is in way of those with the Mugen Tenshin and Hayabusa clans as well as those shinobi clans that are like them.”

 

Sakura says, “Yeah, no joke! The whole ‘good shinobi’ and ‘evil shinobi’ is just major BS! There is only ‘the shinobi way’ and those ninja clans are hypocrites!”

 

Raye tells Sakura, “Hey, we get why you would think that way. You come from a world in which the ‘ninja system’ is similar back to our world’s ‘shinobi system’ back in the days of Feudal Age of Japan, but Japan changed due all the stuff that it had to deal with its history…”

 

Sakura says, seriously, “It doesn’t really matter and if you think I’m wrong, you should hear Homura’s story!” Sakura tells Homura, “Sorry.”

 

Homura says, with a grin, “No big!”

 

Lita asks, “What does she have to do with it?”

 

Homura tells Lita, “I used to be one of the so-called ‘good shinobi’ and I came from a ‘good shinobi’ family.”

 

Mina asks, amazed, “Really?”

 

Homura says, with a plain tone, “Yeah, but a teacher that I trusted was actually a so-called ‘evil shinobi’ in disguise. I let my guard down and he nearly killed me. In the end…I killed him.” There are looks of shock from the others and Homura says, “I don’t actually remember what happened. It was like a hazy came over my mind and when I regained my senses, I saw my former sensei’s corpse.”

 

Amara says, “It sounds like your mind was overwhelmed with shock and your body reacted on instinct alone. That’s what it sounds like it.”

 

Homura says, with a shrug, “Probably. Doesn’t really matter now. After that, my family cast me out.”

 

Hotaru asks, shocked, “What?”

 

Homura says, with a sneer, “Just because I had killed in self-defense and actually, I don’t remember doing it at all, my own family kicked me out into the streets.”

 

Sailor Star says, shocked, “That…That’s horrible!”

 

Haruka says, “Indeed. And it proves what Sakura-chan as well as the Mugen Tenshi and Hayabusa clans, with all those ninja clans like them, say is true. The so-called ‘good shinobi’, who should be called ‘government shinobi’, are engaged in hypocrisy. Homura-chan’s ‘case’ isn’t a rare one.” Haruka says, looking at Trista, “And it wouldn’t be surprising that Sailor Pluto would know this fact.”

 

Hotaru asks Trista, “Is this true, Trista-mama?”

 

Trista says, with a sigh, “Unfortunately, what they say is true as well as the right to say that those shinobi clans that belong to the ‘good shinobi’ are engaged in hypocrisy and aren’t ‘true shinobi’ like Mugen Tenshi and Hayabusa clans say as well as those ninja clans that agree with them.” Trista says, “However, they also feel that the so-called ‘evil shinobi’ are mired in similar hypocrisy as their opponents.”

 

The former Hebijo members give slightly annoyed looks, but they calmed down in which Sakura says, “You may have a point and don’t think about that whole stuff about ‘adapting to the times’. The Mugen Tenshin and Hayabusa clans are similar to what ninja villages are back in the Elemental Countries and during your nation’s Feudal era in which the government doesn’t give a crap about them. In our book, real shinobi are like that. The true shinobi is free. Free the choose their own shinobi path as long as they respect the people, laws, and the rulers of their home nation while not causing trouble for their nation unless there is a valid reason for it.”

 

Ken says, “That’s a really…deep reasoning, Sakura-san.”

 

Tai says, clearing his throat, “Anyway, we should focus one fact. They have information on Neo Paradius especially a location of a base.”

 

Asuna asks, curiously, “Really?”

 

Suguha says, plainly, “Yeah…”

 

Naruto says, looking at Kazuto, “We were discussing with your sister a deal of getting that information.”

 

Kazuto asks, surprised, “A deal?”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “Yep.”

 

Kazuto narrows his eyes at Naruto and Suguha tells Kazuto, “Easy, big brother. It is nothing more than a ‘business transaction’ through you have a right to be cautious.” Suguha says, looking at Naruto, “I do remember ‘your girls’ holding Rika, Keiko, Hiyori, and Shion hostage.”

 

Asuna asks, surprised, “What?”

 

Shion says, “It’s true. However, Naruto-san already took care of their punishment since he didn’t approve of us being held hostage like that.” Homura, Haruka, Hikage, Yomi, and Sakura give shivers of fear from that.

 

Joe asks, curiously, “Punishment?”

 

Suguha says, nervously, “You don’t want to know. Seriously.” There are plenty of sweat drop from Suguha’s words.

 

Davis asks, curiously, “So, they do have information on Neo Paradius?”

 

Mirai retorts, with a smirk, “You think that we would give it up so easily? Think again, pal!”

 

Davis says, attaching his duel disk to his left wrist, “Then maybe we should try this.”

 

Yolei asks, surprised, “Are you serious?”

 

Naruto asks Davis, with a sly smile, “So, you want to duel to find out what we know, right?”

 

Davis says, “Why not? You said that you wanted to duel me.”

 

Naruto says, with a sly smile, “That’s because of the rivalry between Stardust Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend. They may be allies, but it doesn’t mean that they don’t compete against each other. Personally, I go along with it because I thought I could have a ‘friendly rivalry’ for once. My last ‘rival’ was an ass that stabbed me behind the back quite a few times with the first time being in the front.”

 

TK responds, with a nod, “Don’t we all know it?”

 

Plenty of the others nod their heads in agreement and Mina says, with a flinch, “Ouch!”

 

Just then Naruto feels a ‘pulse’ and Naruto says, with a smirk, “Okay, why not? It sounds like a blast.”

 

Homura asks, surprised, “Huh?”

 

Mirai yells out, “Are you fucking serious?”

 

Naruto says, “Hey, Mirai, you make it sound like I’m going to lose.” Naruto tells Davis, “Ready to do this?”

 

Davis says, with a smirk, “Yeah!”

 

Suguha says, seriously, “Not here, you aren’t!”

 

Hinata tells Naruto, “Naruto-kun, maybe you should take this somewhere else.”

 

Naruto says, scratching his head, “Probably a good idea. Don’t want to step on any toes.”

 

Homura asks Naruto, with a grin, “When has that stopped you before, Naruto-kun?” Naruto gives a nervous expression and scratches his scalp.

 

May 24, 2026, Earth, Tokyo

 

Returning to Earth, within Tokyo, Kite is talking with his father via the communication system.

 

Kite’s father says, “I’ve already had Astral and Yuma confirm this. Astral has that Number.”

 

Kite asks, “Then what was that card that I saw?”

 

Kite’s father responds, “Remember, Kite, you are in another universe…A different Earth than our own. It is possible that they may have a Numeron Code of its own and that boy may be connected to it.”

 

Kite says, “Maybe…”

 

Kite’s father says, “Anyway, I’ve taken the information that you have gathered so far and it is obvious that this girl, Sailor Celestial, is Heartland’s target. I doubt that ‘Sailor Scout of Reality’ is just a name.”

 

Kite retorts, “Well, that’s pretty obvious, old man.”

 

Kite’s father says, “Have you no respect, Kite? Kids these days…”

 

Kite says, “We need to remain focused. Heartland must have joined this girl’s enemies to get his hands on her power.”

 

Kite’s father says, “That’s something that we can’t allow. You should also keep an eye on this boy. If he ‘created’ a Number of this universe…”

 

Kite says, “Of course. That’s something that doesn’t need to be said.”

 

Kite’s father says, “I know that we can count on you, Kite. Once that snake, Heartland, is finished and the Numbers that once belonged to the former Barian Emperors are gathered, our world…our universe can finally breathe a sigh of relief.”

 

Kite says, “I know. I’ll see you and Hart later.” Kite then deactivates the communication device and looks ahead of him.

 

May 24, 2026, Moon Kingdom

 

Right now, we find Serena surrounded by darkness and she looks around in confusion.

 

Serena asks, confused, “Where am I? What’s going on?” Just then she screams out in pain as the memories of the tag duel come back to her mind and she says, falling to her knees, “Not again. Over and over again. I…I can’t…”

 

Just then her voice booms out, “Yes, you can! And you will! You need to stand up!” Serena’s eyes widen and she looks around in which she is shocked to find someone that looks like herself as Usagi, her SAO avatar, in front of her with her familiar white hooded cloak on that’s covering up her face. When this ‘doppelganger’ removes her hood, Serena is shocked to see her own face. Her ‘doppelganger’ then says, “Get up! Everyone is waiting for you! They need you! You’ve overcome so much already! After all this, is this how you let it end?”

 

Serena asks, confused, “Who are you?”

 

Serena’s ‘doppelganger’ responds, with a smirk, “If Pyro saw us now, she would be having a field day of how much of a ‘Meatball head’ we are. You KNOW who am I. I am the part of you that you ‘put to sleep’ when we brought Asuna back from ALO and from that slime ball Sugou.”

 

Serena asks, her eyes widen in shock, “But…?!”

 

Serena’s ‘doppelganger’ retorts, interrupting Serena, “Not possible? After all we’ve went through, you say THAT of all things? Geez, maybe it is no wonder Pyro and Darien-kun calls us a ‘Meatball Head’.” She then says, with a warm smile, “Like or not, I’m a part of you. The part of you that you have tired to distance yourself from ever since we rescued Asuna. Don’t exactly blame you. You were trying to go back…back to the Serena Tsukino that you knew. Trying to reclaim the life that HE took from you. However, you know as well as I do that you can’t go back. You can’t go back to being to the Serena Tsukino that you knew…back to the Sailor Moon that you knew.” Just then Serena sees the events that happened as Sailor Moon before SAO and what she did as Sailor Moon AFTER SAO in which her ‘doppelganger’ says, “The Sailor Moon before SAO was a champion of love and justice and she was a Sailor Senshi, but you have to remember ‘Senshi’ has two meanings: ‘Soldier’ and ‘Warrior’. And you may asking: What the difference? This is the difference. What we were was a ‘Soldier’, a protector of the innocent, but now, we aren’t that anymore. We are a ‘Warrior’ and that’s what Sailor Celestial is.” Serena’s eyes widen as images of herself as Valkyrie Sailor Moon and then images of Suguha as Valkyrie Sailor Celestial appear in which Serena’s ‘doppelganger’ says, “That’s what Sailor Moon is now. She draws upon my ‘part’ of our power…the power of Usagi, the ‘White Valkyrie’ of Sword Art Online. The ‘power’ that we forged not just to survive and return home, but to protect others and get them home.”

 

Serena says, shaking her head, “But we…!!!”

 

Her ‘doppelganger’ shouts out, “Yes, we couldn’t and didn’t protect them all, but if we fall here, how can we say our sorry to them by falling here?” Serena looks at her ‘doppelganger’ and Serena’s ‘doppelganger’ roars out, “Is this how we honor them? By letting another part of that dark legacy of THAT MAN cause us to fall and letting everyone and everything that we love to fall because of it? What about Kazuto? Asuna? Suguha? And Darien-kun?” Serena’s eyes widen and Serena’s ‘doppelganger’ tells her, “Now, on your feet, girl!” Serena, after a second, struggles back to her feet, but Serena struggle due to the fact that her legs and much of her body feels so ‘heavy’ to her.

 

When Serena finally manages to get back on her feet, a dark female voice says, “Just words…”

 

Serena and her ‘doppelganger’ give confused looks and Serena asks, confused, “Huh?”

 

The dark female voice, which sounds really familiar, shouts out, “They are just words…words that don’t absolve us from the blood that we bare…!!!” Serena and her ‘doppelganger’ look to see what looks like a mass of darkness about to engulf them with a pair of massive dark blue eyes peering out through the darkness in which Serena’s ‘doppelganger’ draws out Escalon and Lunar Excelsior before nearly getting swallowed by the darkness causing Serena to wake up with a gasp in a cold sweat and within her bed within the Moon Kingdom palace.

 

Just then Darien’s voice calls out, “Serena!” Serena looks to the source to see Darien coming over to her bedside with a concerned look on his face.

 

Serena asks, surprised, “Darien?”

 

Darien asks Serena, “Are you okay?”

 

Serena asks, curiously, “W-Where am I?”

 

Darien responds, “Within the Moon Kingdom palace.”

 

Serena asks, surprised, “The Moon Kingdom palace? H-How did I…?” She then remembered the duel and she asks, worriedly, “The duel! What happened?”

 

Darien asks Serena, concerned, “Y-You don’t remember?”

 

Serena asks, “R-Remember?”

 

Just then a familiar female voice retorts, “How you went full-on berserker on your opponents and pummeled them with four dragons?” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see Hiyori, Rika, Keiko, and Ami walking up to them.

 

Serena asks, surprised, “I did what?!” Just then Serena asks, solemnly, “Oh no! I did it, again, didn’t I?”

 

Darien says, concerned, “Serena…”

 

Serena tells Darien, “Please, Darien-kun, don’t try to sugarcoat it for me.” Darien gives a nervous look and he just gives a nod of his head causing Serena to lower her head.

 

Ami says, concerned, “Serena…”

 

Serena asks, looking around, “Where is everyone?”

 

Ami says, a bit nervously, “Well…”

 

May 24, 2026, Neo Domino City, Kaiba Dome

 

It is evening time at the Kaiba Dome where we find our heroes and heroines, minus Serena, Darien, Ami, Hiyori, Rika, and Keiko, assembled with Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, and their group in which we find Davis and Naruto facing each other on the standing dueling field.

 

Kotone asks, “You think that this is all right?”

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “No problem!”

 

Haruka says, with a sly smile, “Let’s say that we won’t be disturbed.”

 

Amara says, “Knowing that you are ninjas makes me worried on why that’s a fact.”

 

Sakura says, with a nod, “Don’t blame you, but I made sure that we set non-lethal and non-permanent injuring traps all over the place.”

 

Tai says, nervously, “That’s…reassuring.”

 

Nar uto tells Davis, “So, basically, if I lose, I spill the beans on what we know about Neo Paradius.”

 

Davis responds, with a nod, “No joke!”

 

Mirai says, seriously, “Hold up! But you have got to pay on your end! It isn’t fair that Naruto has to bet something without you betting something in return!”

 

Davis asks, curiously, “And that is…?”

 

Naruto responds, with a smile, “This.” Sakura then throws a tablet that Davis manages to catch in which everyone looks at what’s on the tablet causing their eyes to widen.

 

Yolei asks, “You have got to be kidding me.”

 

Homura tells Yolei, “Girl, do we look like we are joking?”

 

Sakura slaps herself on the forehead and Hinata says, a bit nervously, “Homura-chan…”

 

Naruto tells Davis, with a kind smile, “It makes you want to look into your ‘family history’ doesn’t it?” Naruto asks Davis, “So, we have a deal?”

 

Davis says, handing the tablet to Izzy, “Fine by me.” Davis thinks in his mind, “I’ve got a whole lot of quest for mom and pops.” The two of them get into positions while everyone else goes to the sides as Davis and Naruto activate their duel disks causing their decks to be shuffled while the ‘energy blades’ for their Monster and Pendulum Card Zone appears. When their duel disks display 4000 life-points for each duelist on their disks’ touch screens, both of them draw five cards from their decks.

 

“Duel!” Davis and Naruto say in unison as their duel begins.

So, I play Hyozanryu!” Davis puts one card on his disk and Hyozanryu (2100/2800) appears on the field in attack mode in which Davis says, putting another card on his disk, “Then I play Flamvell Guard!” Just then Flamvell Guard (100/2000) appears on the field in attack mode as well.

 

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Well, here we go.”

 

Davis says, “I tune Flamvell Guard with Hyozanryu!” Flamvell Guard turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Hyozanryu, turning it transparent, and creating a column of light as Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck in which Davis says, “Clustering hopes become a new shining star, become the path that its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk and he yells out, “Let’s rev it up, Stardust Dragon!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode. Soon enough, all of the Signers in the Kaiba Dome have their Marks of the Dragon start to glow in which Davis says, putting three cards into the main slot of his disk, “Then I end my turn with three cards face-down!”

 

Naruto says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! I draw!” Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I start with Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and then discard two from my hand!” Naruto draws three cards, discard two from his hand, and he says, drawing two cards, “And one of them was Card of Compensation! Since it was discarded from my hand, I get two new cards from my deck!”

 

Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “And that’s what I was waiting for! I activate my trap: Talisman of Reversal!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Talisman of Reversal trap card and Davis says, “When you draw outside of the Draw Phase, this trap card allows me to draw cards until my hand equals yours in size!” Davis draw eight new cards from his deck and puts them into his hand.

 

Naruto says, putting one card on his disk, “And you are going to need them, bro! First, I start off with my Vice Dragon!” Vice Dragon (2000/2400-1000/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “When you have monsters and I don’t, I can play my Vice Dragon, but its power is cut in half.” Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot, “Then I activate my Spell Economics card! As long as this baby is on the field, I don’t pay life-points to use my spells!” Naruto says, putting yet another card into the main slot of his disk, “That will help with my Premature Burial! Normally, I need to give eight hundred points to use this baby, but my other spells makes this payment an IOU and I can play the card in my grave that I want! Namely, my Delta Flyer!” Just then Delta Flyer (1500/800) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Davis thinks in his mind, “That means that he is going for his Red Dragon Archfiend.”

 

Naruto says, with a wide foxy grin, “I know what you are thinking. I’m going with my ‘main man’ or ‘main dragon’, Red Dragon Archfiend, right? Wrong! I’ll be getting to him, but I want you to meet my other partner!”

 

Davis asks, surprised, “Other partner?!”

 

Naruto says, “I tune Delta Flyer with Vice Dragon!” Delta Flyer turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Vice Dragon, turning it transparent, and creating a column of light as Naruto gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck in which Naruto says, “Flash of light that splits the sea of stars, shake our souls and roar through out the world! Synchro Summon!” Naruto says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his disk, “Meet my other partner: Stardust Spark Dragon!” Out of the light, Stardust Spark Dragon (2500/2000), a version of Stardust Dragon with markings similar to the Marks of the Dragon on its chest and shoulders, appear son the field in attack mode.

 

There are a legion of gasps and Lita yells out, flabbergasted, “No way!” Just then Suguha, Kazuto, Shion, Sammy, and Hotaru felt a ‘pulse’ surge through their bodies causing them to stumble a bit.

 

Asuna sees this and she asks Kazuto, “Kirito-kun, are you okay?

 

Kazuto says, shaking his head, “Yeah, I’m okay…”

 

Sammy thinks in his mind, “What the heck was that?!”

 

Davis asks, confused, “What is that? Only Yusei and I should have Stardust Dragon! What is that one?!”

 

Naruto responds, “You can call him, Stardust Dragon’s ‘brother’: Stardust SPARK Dragon!” Just then both versions of Stardust Dragon start to roar out in unison as a light glow comes from both of them and all of the Signers in the Kaiba Dome have their Marks of the Dragon start to throb.

 

Shion thinks in her mind, looking at her Mark of the Dragon, “What is this feeling?”

 

Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Now, let’s continue! Next, I activate my Autonomous Action Unit equip spell! By paying fifteen hundred life-points, I can revive one monster from your grave and put it on the field, equipping it with this card, but since my Spell Economics makes that payment mute, let’s move on! So, I revive your Hyozanryu!” Soon after, Hyozanryu (2100/2800) appears on Naruto’s field in attack mode and Naruto says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I summon Sinister Sprocket!” Sinister Sprocket (400/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “And now, I tune Sinister Sprocket with Hyozanryu!” Sinister Sprocket turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Hyozanryu, turning it transparent, and causing a column of light to appear on the field as Naruto gets another Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck in which he says, “The ruler’s heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation shaking power! Synchro Summon!” Naruto says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his disk, “Meet my main man, Red Dragon Archfiend!” Just then Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Ken says, amazed, “Incredible!”

 

Tai says, “Two dragons for the price of one! That’s trouble!”

 

TK says, “And all of it coming for Davis.”

 

Kari says, concerned, “Dai-kun…”

 

Naruto yells out, “Stardust Spark Dragon, attack your Signer counterpart now!”

 

There are gasps of shock and Amara asks, “What’s he up to now?”

 

As Stardust Spark Dragon prepares to attack, Davis asks, “Our monsters are equal! What’s the point?”

 

Naruto says, “This is the point! Stardust Spark Dragon’s special ability! Once per turn, it can make it that one face-up card can’t be destroyed by ANY means and I obviously choose Stardust Spark Dragon!” As a shield surrounds Stardust Spark Dragon, Naruto yells out, “Shooting Blast!” Stardust Spark Dragon unleashes its attack while Stardust Dragon counterattacking, but Spark Dragon’s shield protects it from the explosion of the two attacks when they collide with Stardust getting destroyed by the collision of the two attacks.

 

Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap: Miracle’s Wake!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Miracle’s Wake trap card and Davis says, “Thanks to this trap card, a monster destroyed in battle this turn is revived! Return, Stardust!” Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) then returns to the field in attack mode.

 

Naruto says, “Then Red Dragon is going give Stardust a sock in the puss! Absolute Power Force!” Red Dragon Archfiend then swings his right flaming fist towards Stardust Dragon.

 

Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap: Scrap-Iron Scarecrow!” Davis’ other face-down card is revealed to be the Scrap-Iron Scarecrow and Davis says, “This trap card negates your attack, so, Stardust is safe!” A scarecrow made of scrap iron appears in front of Stardust Dragon and protects Stardust from Red Dragon Archfiend’s attack.

 

Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I activate my Assault Mode Zero Quick-Play spell card! By releasing Red Dragon Archfiend, I can upgrade him into Assault Mode!”

 

Davis says, nervously, “Oh, crap!”

 

A card comes out of Naruto’s deck, he puts it on his disk, and he yells out, “Oh, yeah! Bring it on!” Red Dragon Archfiend then ‘evolves’ into Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode (3500/2500) appears on the field in attack mode in which Naruto says, “And since my Assault Mode Red Dragon is a new monster, hit him again, Red Dragon! Absolute Crimson Force!” Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode unleashes a fireball that vaporizes Stardust Dragon in which Davis grunt as he loses 1000 life-points in which Naruto says, “Now, Red Dragon’s ability destroys all other monsters on the field when it attacks, but thanks to Spark Dragon’s power, he is safe!” Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode unleashes a powerful wave of flames, but Stardust Spark Dragon’s shield protects it. Naruto says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Then I end my turn with a pair of face-downs!”

Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “Then I play Dread Dragon in attack mode!” Dread Dragon (1100/400) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “And now, I tune Dread Dragon with Vice Dragon!” Dread Dragon turns into a two stars that turn into two rings that surround Vice Dragon, turning it transparent, and when Davis takes out a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, he says, “Chilling flames engulf the entire world! Pitch-dark flowers, set into bloom! Synchro Summon!” Davis says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his disk, “Time to appear and bloom, Black Rose Dragon!” Out of the light, Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Veemon says, excitedly, “Awesome! It’s your card, Kari!” Kari gives a smile and she nods her head in agreement.

 

Davis says, “Black Rose Dragon’s ability activates! When Synchro Summoned, it can destroy all cards on the field! Go, Black Rose Gale!”

 

Naruto says, “Stardust Spark Dragon’s ability activates! Once per turn, it can protect one card from being destroyed by all means and I choose my Spark Dragon, again!” Black Rose Dragon unleashes a storm of rose petals that destroys itself and Davis’ face-down card while Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode, his face-up Spell Economics continuous spell card, and Naruto’s two face-down cards are destroyed with Stardust Spark Dragon being saved due to its ability. Naruto says, “Since Assault Mode Red Dragon has been destroyed, the original Red Dragon returns! Come on back, buddy!” Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) then returns to the field in attack mode.

 

Davis says, with a grin, “I knew that exactly!” Naruto gives a confused and surprised look in which Davis says, displaying Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior (1500/1500) and Dragonox, the Empowered Warrior (1500/1500) Pendulum Monster cards, “I set scale two, Dragodies, and scale seven, Dragonox, and set the Pendulum Scale!” Davis puts two said cards on his disk’s Pendulum Zones causing the Monster Card Zones of his disk to glow with the word ‘Pendulum’ in rainbow colors with Dragodies to appear in one column of light and Dragonox to appear in another column of light with the number 2 below Dragodies and the number 7 below Dragonox. Davis says, “Now, I can summon monsters that are levels three through six this turn! Swing, Pendulum! Draw the arc of light to victory! Pendulum Summon!” Davis puts three cards on his disk and he shouts out, “Come on, my dragons! Master Pendulum, White Wind Magician, and Luster Dragon Number Two!” A circle of light appears on the field, three ‘lights’ come from the circle, and those ‘lights’ are revealed to be Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer (1950/0), White Wind Magician (1600/1400), and Luster Dragon #2 (2400/1400) appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate my Silent Doom! Now, I can revive one monster in my grave in defense mode! Return, Flamvell Guard!” Flamvell Guard (100/2000) returns to the field in defense mode in which Davis says, “I tune Flamvell Guard with Luster Dragon!” Flamvell Guard turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Luster Dragon #2, turning it transparent, and when Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field causing him to say, “Docking strength with courage to protect world peace! Synchro Summon!” Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk and he yells out, “Get into gear, Power Tool Dragon!” Out of the light, Power Tool Dragon (2300/2500) appears on the field in attack mode. Davis puts the card into his hand and he says, with a grin, “Not bad…for me.” Davis returns the other two cards to his deck, his deck reshuffles, and Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I equip Power Tool Dragon with my Break Draw equip spell! Next, I tune White Wind Magician with Master Pendulum!” White Wind Magician turns into four stars that turn into four rings that surround Master Pendulum, turning him transparent, and when Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field causing him to say, “The ruler’s heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation shaking power! Synchro Summon!” Davis says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his disk, “One dragon deserves another! I play MY Red Dragon Archfiend now!” Soon after, a second Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) emerges from the light on Davis’ field in attack mode. The two Red Dragon Archfiend roars out at each other and the field starts to shake.

 

Mina says, nervously, “Uh oh.”

 

Amara says, “Uh oh is right, Mina-chan. They are resonating with each other.”

 

Naruto says, “We’ll see which of us is the better partner for Red Dragon, pal.”

 

Davis says, “Yeah, we will! Power Tool Dragon, attack his Red Dragon Archfiend!”

 

There are gasps and confused looks as Power Tool Dragon prepares to attack Naruto’s Red Dragon Archfiend causing Yolei yell out, “Hold up! Are you crazy?!”

 

Davis says, with a grin while discarding a card from his hand, “As Naruto would say: Crazy as a fox! I activate Dragodies’ Pendulum effect! By discarding a card from my hand when one of my monster’s attacks an opponent’s monster, Dragodies’ cuts their power in half!” Naruto’s eyes widen as his Red Dragon Archfiend roars out as its stats go from 3000/2000 to 1500/1000 and Davis yells out, “Crafty Break!” Power Tool Dragon slams his ‘shovel claw’ into Red Dragon Archfiend and he roars out as he explodes in which Naruto winches as he loses 800 life-points.

 

Naruto says, shocked, “Red Dragon!”

 

Davis says, drawing a card, “Thanks to my Break Draw, since Power Tool destroyed a monster, I get a card!” Davis then says, drawing two more cards, “By the way, the card that I discarded with my Dragodies’ Pendulum effect was my Card of Compensation! That means two more cards for me!” Davis then yells out, “Now, my Red Dragon attacks your Spark Dragon! Absolute Power Force!”

 

Naruto says, “Since Stardust used his power on himself, he is safe!”

 

Davis says, seriously, “Yeah, but your life-points aren’t!” Davis’ Red Dragon slams its flaming fist into Stardust Spark Dragon’s chest causing it to stumble in which Naruto grunts as he loses 500 more life-points. Davis says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “I think that’s enough from me! I end my turn with a pair of face-downs!”

Davis says, drawing a card, “Okay, my move! I draw!” Davis says, “Next, I activate Power Tool’s ability again!”

 

Three cards comes out of Davis’ deck, he displays them, and Naruto says, “I choose the left card!” Davis puts the card into his hand, puts the other two back into his deck, which is reshuffled, and Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Too bad for you, but first, I play my Charm of Lamentation spell card! As long as this spell card remains on the field, every time that my monster’s attacks and fails to destroy one of your monsters, I get one card from my deck!” Davis says, putting another card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate the card that you gave me: Fairy Meteor Crush! By equipped it to my Red Dragon, when he attack a monster in defense mode with less defense than his attack, the difference gets slammed into you as damage!”

 

Veemon says, excitedly, “Awesome, Davis!”

 

Mina says, with a winch, “That’s going to hurt.”

 

Kazuto says, plainly, “Maybe…”

 

Asuna and Suguha give Kazuto a curious look and Davis shouts out, “Attack, Red Dragon! Absolute Power Force!”

 

As Davis’ Red Dragon Archfiend moves into attack, Naruto says, “Stardust Spark Dragon’s ability activates and now, he can’t be destroyed by any means this turn!” Naruto says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Then I play my trap: Spirit Barrier!” Naruto’s face-down card is revealed to be the Spirit Barrier continuous trap card and Naruto says, with a sly smile, “With this card, as long as I have monster on the field, I don’t take any damage!” Davis’ Red Dragon’s attack slams into a force-field protecting Stardust Spark Dragon.

 

Homura says, with a grin, “Oh, yeah!”

 

Yomi says, with a smile, “I knew that Naruto-kun wouldn’t be defeated so easily!”

 

Davis says, drawing a card, “Thanks to my spell, I get a new card!” Davis yells out, “And now, Power Tool, attack his Stardust!” Power Tool Dragon attacks Stardust Spark Dragon, but thanks to its ability, it isn’t destroyed in which Davis says, drawing a card, “And due to my Charm of Lamentation! I get another card from my deck!” Davis says, “Then I end my turn!”

 

Naruto says, drawing a card, “Okay, my move!” Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I start off with Pot of Greed! This allows me to draw two new cards!” Naruto draws two cards, puts another card into the main slot, and he says, “Then I play my Card of Burial Magic! I remove three spell cards from my grave to draw two cards!” Three cards come out of the graveyard slot of Naruto’s disk, he puts them ‘out of play’, and he draws two new cards. Naruto says, putting one more card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I play this! Monster Reborn! Guess who is back in the game!” Just then Naruto’s Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) returns to the field in attack mode and Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Next, I play Scarlet Security! Since I have Red Dragon on my field, all of your spell and trap cards are gone!” Naruto’s Red Dragon Archfiend slams his fist onto the ground in which Davis’ face-up spells, two face-down cards, and his two Pendulum Monsters in their Pendulum Zones are destroyed.

 

Cody says, “Since Pendulum Monsters in their Pendulum Zones are considered spell cards, they were destroyed too.”

 

Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot, “Then I play my Magic Planter spell card! Now, I remove one continuous trap card from my field to draw two cards!”

 

As Naruto’s Spirit Barrier continuous trap card vanishes, Davis says, “Are you sure that you want to do that? Your combo kept you safe.”

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “Hey, no pain, no gain, believe it!” Naruto draws two cards, puts one card into the main slot, and he says, “And boy, did I gain something! I play my Banner of Courage spell! As long as this baby remains on the field, all my monsters gain two hundred attack points during the Battle Phase! And with that, I return Stardust to attack mode!” Stardust Spark Dragon then switches from defense mode to attack mode and Naruto’s Red Dragon goes from 3000/2000 to 3200/2000 while Stardust Spark Dragon goes from 2500/2000 to 2700/2000 in which Naruto says, “Red Dragon, show him who the true Red Dragon is! Shooting Blast!” Stardust Spark Dragon unleashes an attack that slams into Power Tool causing it to explode into pieces in which Davis grunts out as he loses 400 more life-points.

 

Veemon says, nervously, “Oh, man!”

 

Gatomon says, with a nod, “No joke.”

 

Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot, “I think that’s enough for now. I end my turn.” On the meanwhile, Naruto’s Red Dragon Archfiend and Stardust Spark Dragon return to their original stats since the effect of Banner of Courage has ended.

Davis says, drawing a card, “My move!” Davis says, putting one card into the main slot, “Time to put a nail in your plans with Swords of Revealing Light!” Just then a group of swords made of golden light entrap Naruto’s field and Davis says, “As long as these swords remain on the field, you can’t attack me and they last for three turns!” Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “Next, I summon my Troop Dragon in defense mode!” Just then Troop Dragon (700/800) appears on the field in defense mode. Davis says, putting one card into the main slot, “Next, I activate my Mirage of Nightmare!” Davis then says, putting another card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I end my turn with a face-down.”

 

Naruto says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn! I draw!”

 

Davis says, drawing four cards, “And I draw too due to my Mirage!” Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Then I activate my face-down card: Emergency Provisions!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Emergency Provisions Quick-Play spell card and Davis says, “This card allows me to get rid of one spell or trap card on my field and gain one grand in life-points in which I choose Mirage of Nightmare!” Mirage of Nightmare continuous spell card vanishes from the field and Davis’ life-points increase by 1000 more points.

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “Pretty good.” Naruto says, “I activate my Spark Dragon’s ability and make it invincible for this turn!” Naruto then says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I place one card face-down and end my turn! My Red Dragon’s ability then destroys all other monsters that didn’t attack this turn, but my Spark Dragon is safe due to his ability!” Red Dragon unleashes a surge of flames, but Spark Dragon is protected from it by his ability.

Naruto says, “I activate my Spark Dragon’s ability! For this turn, Red Dragon can’t be destroyed by any means!” Stardust Spark Dragon glows causing a ‘field’ to form around Red Dragon before Stardust Spark Dragon gets sucked into a vortex in the sky.

 

Tai says, with a smirk, “There was no way that he could use that ability to protect his Stardust since it only works on destruction, not removal from play.”

 

Davis says, with a grin while putting one card on his disk, “Not bad, but you are going to need more than that since I remove my Troop Dragon from play to Special Summon this guy! Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!”

 

Suguha asks, shocked, “Say what?!” Troop Dragon vanishes in which Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (2800/2400) appears on the field in attack mode in which Suguha asks, “When did Davis get THAT card?”

 

Asuna says, a bit nervously, “Well…”

 

Kazuto tells Suguha, a bit nervously, “You aren’t the only Red-Eyes user in our group anymore, Sugu.”

 

Davis yells out, “Darkness Metal Dragon’s ability now activates! Once per turn, I can play one Dragon monster from my hand or graveyard! So, return Stardust Dragon!” Just then Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) returns to the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Then I end my turn with two cards face-down.”

 

Naruto says, drawing a card, “My move!” Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I play Aria From Beyond! I can activate one spell card removed from play and I choose the Pot of Greed that I removed from play! That means that I draw two new cards!” Naruto draws two cards, puts one card on his disk, and he says, “Since I have a high level Dragon Synchro Monster on my field, I can play Red Nova!” Red Nova (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, putting another card on his disk, “And then I play my Dark Resonator!” Just then Dark Resonator (1300/300) appears on the field in attack mode.

With another realm of another universe, a group of people in five high-tech, if not futuristic, racing cars/trucks/vans, known as Battle Force 5 are continuing their adventures to save their ‘multiverse’ from evil forces in which all of them sneeze at once, confusing them for all sorts of reasons, but they focus on their mission at hand (A/N: Yes, I’m use the sneezing trope a lot, but I can’t help it! I love that anime trope!).

 

May 24, 2026, Neo Domino City, Kaiba Dome

 

Back at the Kaiba Dome, we find Red Nova and Dark Resonator glowing in which Red Nova turns into one firing ring and Dark Resonator turning into three fiery rings that surround Red Dragon Archfiend, causing him to turn transparent, and when Naruto, glowing a sparkling and shining crimson, gets a Synchro Monster from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field.

 

Naruto says, “The king and the fiend, here and now, shall become one! A raging spirit! Lift up the very cries of creation itself! Synchro Summon!” Naruto says, putting the Synchro Monster on his disk, “Blaze on, Red Nova Dragon!” Out of the light, Red Nova Dragon (3500/3000) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “Red Nova Dragon’s ability gives him five hundred attack points for every Tuner in my graveyard! I currently have four Tuners in my graveyard right now! That means my pal gains two thousand attack points!” Red Nova Dragon roars out as it goes from 3500/3000 to 5500/3000 and Naruto says, as a card comes out of his deck, “That’s not all! Red Nova’s ability now activates! Since my fire fairy was used to bring out a Synchro Monster that uses TWO Tuners for their Synchro Summon, I can play one Fire Fiend monster from my deck! I choose Red Resonator!” Naruto puts the card on his disk and Red Resonator (600/200) appears on the field in attack mode in which Naruto says, with a sly smile, “Red Resonator’s ability now activates! Since he was special summoned, my dude pumps up my life-points equal to the attack of one monster that I control!” Naruto’s red aura glows even brighter in which his life-points increase by 5500 life-points.

 

Tai says, “That’s seriously not good for Davis.”

 

Mirai says, with a wide grin, “But really good for Naruto. So much for your ‘Star Dragon King’. He is about to be dethroned!”

 

Davis says, with a serious tone, “We’ll see about that!”

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “Yeah, we will! I end my turn!”

This card forces both of us to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Both Davis and Naruto draw from their respective decks until they have half-a-dozen cards in their hands in which Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “I activate my Synchro Gift spell card! One of my Synchro Monsters can transfer their power to a non-Synchro Monster for this turn! Stardust, give Red-Eyes a hand!” Stardust Dragon roars out as he glows in which he transfers that ‘glow’ into Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon causing Stardust Dragon to go from 2500/2000 to 0/2000 while Red-Eyes goes from 2800/2400 to 5300/2400 in which Davis says, putting another card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate my Rush Recklessly spell card! This card boosts one of monster’s attack power by seven hundred until the end of the turn!” Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon then goes from 5300/2400 to 6000/2000 in which Davis says, “Red-Eyes, attack now! Darkness Metal Flare!”

 

Red-Eyes unleashes its attack on Red Nova Dragon and Naruto says, “Red Nova Dragon’s second effect activates! By removing him from play, I can negate this attack!” Red Nova Dragon glows before he vanishes in which Red-Eyes’ attack flies off into the sky.

 

Davis says, with a grin, “That’s what I was counting on! Black Rose, take out Red Resonator! Black Rose Flare!” Black Rose Dragon then unleashes her attack right at Red Resonator.

 

Naruto says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Like I didn’t see that one coming, believe it! I activate Defense Draw!” Naruto’s face-down card is revealed to be the Defense Draw trap card and a shield protects Naruto from the explosion created by the destruction of Red Resonator in which Naruto says, “I couldn’t save my little buddy from your dragon, but I protected myself for all damage and I get a new card to help in his payback!”

 

Naruto draws a new card and Davis says, “I end my turn!”

 

Naruto says, “And now, Red Nova Dragon returns thanks to his ability!” Red Nova Dragon (3500/3000-6000/3000) returns to the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “And you just made things worse since Red Resonator is now in my grave, my Red Nova Dragon is up to six thousand attack points now! Red Nova Dragon is going to make sure to pay back his buddy for what you did!”

 

Davis says, “He is going to have to wait, pal!” On the meanwhile, Stardust Dragon and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon returns to their respective 2500/2000 and 2800/2400 stats due to the effects of Davis’ spell cards ending.

 

Naruto says, drawing a card, “Okay, my move!” Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot, “I activate my Mystical Space Typhoon! This card destroys one spell or trap card on the field!”

 

As a twister appears on the field, Davis says, “I don’t think so! I activate Stardust’s ability! By releasing him, I can negate your spell card’s effect! Victim Sanctuary!” Stardust Dragon roars out as he ‘turns into’ stardust that causes the ‘twister’ to vanish.

 

Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “That’s what I was waiting for! I activate my Stamping Destruction now! One spell or trap card on the field is destroyed and the owner takes five hundred points of damage!” Davis gasps as the Swords of Revealing Light shatter apart in which the shards rain down on him causing him to lose 500 life-points.

 

Kari says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!”

 

Shion says, plainly, “Now, Naruto can attack.”

 

Naruto yells out, “You got it, Shion-san! Red Nova Dragon, Burning Soul Slasher!”

 

Red Nova Dragon charges in to attack Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Not so fast! I activate my Zero Gravity trap card!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Zero Gravity trap card and Davis says, “Now, all monsters on the field switch from their current modes to the opposite and that means that all of our monsters are in defense mode!” Red Nova, Stardust, Black Rose, and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragons then switch from attack to defense modes in which Red Nova Dragon’s attack is stopped in its tracks.

 

Naruto says, with a grin, “Clever.” Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot, “I end my turn with a face-down.”

 

Davis says, “And Stardust Dragon’s ability allows him to return right now!” Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) then returns to the field in attack mode.

Since I have three Pendulum monsters face-up in my Extra Deck, I get two new cards from my deck!” Davis draws two cards from his deck and he says, “Next, I remove Vice Dragon and Hyozanryu from my graveyard and remove them from play to bring out Lightpulsar Dragon!” Two said cards come out of Davis’ graveyard, he puts them in his sub-space pocket and ‘out of play’, and when he puts a card on his disk, Lightpulsar Dragon (2500/1500), a dark blue and silver dragon with a glow blue ‘orb’ in the chest, appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting one card on his dis, “Then I summon Dragunity Javelin!” Soon after, Dragunity Javelin (1200/800) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, “And now, I tune Dragunity Javelin with Lightpulsar Dragon!” Dragunity Javelin turns into two stars that turn into two rings that surround Lightpulsar Dragon, turning it transparent, and when Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field and Davis says, “Darkened gales, become the wings that soar from resolved hope! Synchro Summon!” Davis says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his disk, “Time to soar, Black-Winged Dragon!” Out of the light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Shion says, with a plain tone, “Not surprised.”

 

Davis says, “Lightpulsar Dragon’s ability activates! Since he was on the field and then went into the graveyard, I can revive one level five or above Dark monster! Guess who is coming back? Maybe this will help you!” Just then Davis’ Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) returns to the field in attack mode.

 

Mirai yells out, stunned, “No way!”

 

Haruka says, with a nod, “Impressive.”

 

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Now, I activate my United We Stand equip spell and give it to my Red-Eyes! This card gives my dragon eight hundred attack and defense points for every monster on the field including himself!” Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon goes from 2800/2400 to 6800/6400 and Davis says, “Now, Red-Eyes, attack with Darkness Metal Flare!”

 

Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon unleashes its attack, but Naruto says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I don’t think so! I activate Different Dimension Ability!” Naruto’s face-down card is revealed to be a trap a card with a picture of the ‘spirit’ of monster getting infused into another monster in which Naruto says, “A monster on my field can gain the ability of a monster removed from play as long as they are the same kind of monster! Since my Red Nova and Stardust Spark are both Synchro monsters, I can give Red Nova the power of Stardust Spark for this turn! And now, Red Nova can make any card unable to be destroyed this turn and I choose Red Nova himself!” The ‘spirit’ of Stardust Spark appears in front of Red Nova Dragon, creating a shield around him, and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon’s attack slams into the shield which protects Red Nova while Naruto grunts as he loses 800 life-points.

 

Davis says, putting one card into the main slot, “I activate Polymerization!” Davis discards one card, causing Elemental Hero Bladedge (2600/1800) to appear on the field, and he says, “I fuse Red Dragon with Hero Bladedge!” The two said monsters then goes into a fusion vortex, Davis takes a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck, and he says, putting Fusion Monster card on his disk, “Now, Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste, come on out!” Out of the fusion vortex, Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste (3200/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Davis says, putting the final card in his hand into the main slot of his disk, “Then I place one card face-down and end my turn.”

Now, I can revive one banished monster, so, you know who is coming back!” Stardust Spark Dragon (2500/2000) then returns to the field in attack mode.

Naruto says, with a grin while putting one card on his disk, “It gets worse than that, bro! Since there are Synchro Monsters on the field, I can play Synkron Resonator!” Just then Synkron Resonator (100/100) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, putting one card on his disk, “And when I play a Resonator monster, I can play Red Warg as well!” Just then Red Warg (1400/2200-700/2200) appears on the field in attack mode in which Naruto says, putting another card on his disk, “But since summoned this way, it’s attack gets cut in half! Next, I play Force Resonator as well!” Force Resonator (500/500) then appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “And now, I tune Force Resonator with Red Warg!” Force Resonator then turns into two stars that turn into two rings that surround Red Warg, turning it transparent, and when Naruto gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field in which Naruto says, “The King's determination is conceived with a crimson blade ablaze fires of red! Appear from beyond the burning heat waves! Synchro Summon!” Naruto puts the Synchro Monster card on his disk and he says, “Time to cut them up, Crimson Blader!” Out of the light, Crimson Blader (2800/2600) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Next, I activate my trap: Call of the Haunted!” Naruto’s face-down card is revealed to be the Call of the Haunted continuous trap card and Naruto says, “And now, I use it to revive good old Red Warg!” Red Warg (1400/2200) returns to the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “Next, I tune Synkron Resonator with Red Warg!” Synkron Resonator turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Red Warg, turning it transparent, and when the column of light appears on the field, once more, Naruto takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck.

 

Rika says, “Uh oh. Here we go, yet again.”

 

Naruto says, “Star of death, shining at heaven’s zenith! Descend to Earth and judge the living! Synchro Summon!” Naruto puts the card on his disk and Naruto says, “Meet the deadly Shinigami: Dark Highlander!” Out of the light, Dark Highlander (2800/2300) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Ken says, “That’s not good at all. That monster prevents either of them from Synchro Summoning as long as that monster remains on the field.”

 

Naruto says, “Next, Synkron Resonator’s effect activates! When he is sent to the graveyard, I can take one Resonator monster from my grave and return him to my hand!” A card comes out of the graveyard slot of Naruto’s disk and he puts it into his hand causing him to say, with a sly smile, “While I returned one Tuner to my hand, there are two more in my grave which means that Red Nova goes up by five hundred more attack points!” Red Nova Dragon then roars out as it goes from 6000/3000 to 6500/3000 due to its effect. Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “And since I can’t attack this turn, thanks to your trap, I’ll throw this down for now.”

 

Davis says, drawing a card, “Then it is my move! I draw!” Davis says, putting the card into the main slot, “I activate my Special Dragon’s Horde spell card! Based on the type of dragons that I have on my field, I can use a certain effect! And since I have an EFFECT dragon, Red-Eyes, a FUSION dragon, Draco-Equiste, and SYNCHRO dragons, I can draw one card for every dragon on the field, including yours, which means seven new cards for me!” Davis draws seven new cards from his deck and he then gets an image in his hand causing him to look at Stardust Dragon where he hears a light growl from the dragon. Davis then yells out, “And now, I Overlay Stardust with Black-Winged Dragon!” Both said monsters turn into lights that goes into a vortex in the ground.

 

Plenty of the others are shocked and Yolei yells out, “What the?!”

 

Homura asks, shocked, “Using Synchro Monsters from an XYZ Summon?!” Davis puts the two Synchro Monsters’ cards on the same Monster Card Zone in which a beam of light goes from the Extra Deck of Davis’ disk and onto said Monster Card Zone, turning into a new XYZ Monster card.

 

Davis yells out, “Now, meet Number Forty-Six: Dragluon!” Out of the vortex, Number 46: Dragluon (3000/3000), a massive white and blue dragon with two Light Overlay units orbiting it, appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting a card on his disk, “Next, I activate Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon’s ability and play one dragon from my hand! None other than Red-Eyes Black Dragon!” Soon after, Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Mirai says, annoyed, “What’s the point! You still have the same number of monsters and that means that your lizard doesn’t get any stronger!”

 

Suguha thinks in her mind, eyes widening, “Could he be…?”

 

Davis says, putting one card on his disk, “Here is the point! I release Red-Eyes Black Dragon to play Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon in attack mode!” Davis gives a grunt as Red-Eyes Black Dragon is surrounded by dark flames and ‘transforms’ into Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (2400/2000) in attack mode in which Davis says, “Darkness Dragon gains three hundred attack points for every of my dragon buddies in my grave! Since there are six dragons in my grave, my Red-Eyes gains eighteen hundred attack points!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon then roars out as it goes from 2400/2000 to 4200/2000 in which Davis says, putting one card into the main slot of his disk, “Then I activate Burial from a Different Dimension! This card allows me to put monsters removed from play back to the graveyard! So, I return Troop Dragon, Vice Dragon, and Hyozanryu to the grave!” Davis takes three cards from his sub-space pocket, puts them into his disk’s graveyard slot, and Davis says, “And since three more dragons are in the graveyard, Darkness Dragon goes up by nine hundred more attack points! Talk about teamwork!” Darkness Dragon then goes from 4200/2000 to 5100/2000 due to his ability.

 

Mirai says, with a smirk, “Do the math, Motomiya! Your dragon doesn’t have the power to take on Red Nova!”

 

Lita says, with a smirk, “Forget about Darkness Metal Dragon? Davis still has him equipped with his equip spell and Davis still has five dragons on his field meaning that Darkness Metal Dragon has more attack points than his Red Nova!”

 

Davis says, “And that’s what I plan on doing! Darkness Metal Dragon, attack! Darkness Metal Flare!” Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon then unleashes its attack right at Red Nova Dragon.

 

Naruto says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I see what you are trying to do, but it won’t work, bro! I activate my trap: Waboku!” Naruto’s face-down card is revealed to be Waboku trap card and Naruto says, with a smile, “This trap card prevents my monsters from being destroyed and I don’t lose life-points either!” A trio of maidens then appear to protect Red Nova from Darkness Metal Dragon’s attack.

 

Davis says, putting three cards into the main slot of his disk, “I throw down three face-downs to end my turn.”

 

Naruto says, drawing a card, “Then it is my turn!” Naruto says, putting one card on his disk, “I play Red Resonator!” Red Resonator (600/200) appears on the field in attack mode in which Naruto says, “Normally, Red Resonator, when Normal Summoned, allows me to bring out one level four or below monster from my hand, but I don’t have one and my field is full, so, let’s move on!” Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot, “I activate my Card of Sanctity! And you know what that means!” Both Naruto and Davis draw from their decks until they have half-a-dozen cards in their respective hands.

 

Cody says, “Their decks are getting low on cards.”

 

Naruto then feels a ‘pulse’ and when he looks at his hands, his eyes grow wide at what he sees, causing Kazuto and plenty of the others to get curious in which Naruto thinks in his mind, slyly, “Well, I don’t look a gift horse…or gift card in the mouth! Heh! Bad pun!” Naruto then hears a familiar fox grumble and Naruto says, putting one more card into the main slot, “I play Double Summon! Now, I can Normal Summon twice this turn!” Just then Naruto takes another card from his hand, but the instant that he does, the skies grow dark and thunderclouds form all around.

 

Mina asks, confused, “What the?”

 

Kotone asks, confused, “What’s going on?”

 

Tai says, nervously, “I’ve got a bad feeling.”

 

Amara says, her eyes widening, “A storm is coming…”

 

Naruto says, putting the card on his disk causing it to wildly spark, “I release Red Resonator with Crimson Blader and Dark Highlander to play this…Obelisk the Tormentor!”

 

There are multiple gasps and Homura shouts out, “No way!” All three said monsters shoot up into the sky and then a massive beam of light slams into the ground behind Naruto causing a massive quake to the shake the whole of the Kaiba Dome in which Obelisk the Tormentor (4000/4000) appears in all of its Egyptian God Monster glory in attack mode.

 

There are flabbergasted looks on the others and Tai says, stunned, “No way!”

 

Trista says, shocked, “Unfortunately, you are wrong, Tai. That’s the TRUE Obelisk the Tormentor!”

 

Ken says, “That’s seriously not good for Davis.”

 

Matt says, with a nod, “No kidding, Ken.”

 

Naruto says, “Since another Tuner is in the grave, Red Nova gets five hundred more attack points!” Red Nova Dragon then goes from 6500/3000 to 7000/3000, due to its ability, and Naruto says, putting one card into the main slot, “Next, I play Monster Reborn! Dark Highlander, give me a hand one more time!” Just then Dark Highlander (2800/2300) returns to the field in attack mode and Naruto looks at Stardust Spark Dragon in which when Naruto hears a roar from the dragon, he shouts out, “And now, I activate Obelisk’s ability! I release Spark Dragon and Highlander!” Both monsters roar out as they turn into ‘spirit energy’ that goes into Obelisk causing him to turn dark red and Naruto yells out, “Now, all of your monsters are destroyed and you get slammed with four thousand points of damage!”

 

Asuna says, nervously, “Oh no!”

 

Kazuto says, seriously, “I agree! Davis can’t survive that!”

 

Naruto yells out, “Go, Fist of Fury!”

 

As Obelisk slams his fist down on Davis’ monsters, Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Activate trap!”

 

Naruto says, “Traps don’t work on Obelisk, dude!” Obelisk’s fist slams into Davis’ monsters causing a massive explosion that vaporizes all of them and causing to be engulfed in a dust cloud.

 

Kari says, worriedly, “Dai-kun!”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “Sorry, but this duel is over.” However, when the smoke clear, Davis is still standing without losing a single life-point!

 

Mirai shouts out, shocked, “No fucking way!”

 

Yomi asks, confused, “But how?!”

 

Sakura says, pointing, “That’s how.” Everyone then looks to see a face-up Pikeru’s Circle of Enchantment trap card on Davis’ field.

 

Davis says, with a sigh of relief, “That was close.” Davis tells Naruto, with a smile, “Sorry, pal, but thanks to this trap card, I don’t get any effect damage for this turn and Obelisk’s ability is effect damage. I can’t protect myself from a God card, but I can protect myself from damage from them.”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “Not bad.” Naruto says, putting two cards into the main slot of his disk, “Since I used Obelisk’s ability, I can’t battle this turn, so, I end my turn with a pair of face-downs.”

 

Davis says, drawing a card, “My turn!” When Davis draws his card, he feels a ‘pulse’ going through him and when he looks at the card that he draw, he gives a look of shock and then he gives a sly smile causing a confused look by Naruto. Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “I activate my trap: XYZ Reborn!” Davis’ next face-down card is revealed to be the XYZ Reborn trap card and Davis says, “With this card, I can revive one XYZ monster and add this card as an Overlay Unit! You can guess who!” Number 46: Dragluon (3000/3000) returns to the field with Davis’ trap card transforming into a Light Overlay unit for the Davis’ XYZ monster and Davis says, “Next, I activate Dragluon’s ability! Since I have no other monsters on my field, I can remove an Overlay Unit to activate one of his abilities and I take control of one Dragon on my opponent’s side of the field! And you have only one dragon on your side of the field!” Dragluon absorbs one of its Overlay Units and Red Nova Dragon roars out as it goes from Naruto’s field to Davis’ field.

 

Naruto yells out, stunned, “No!”

 

Davis grunts out as he feels a ‘surge’ of ‘power’ and Davis says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Then I activate my trap: Soul Resurrection!” Davis’ final face-down card is revealed to be the Soul Resurrection continuous trap card in which Davis says, “Now, I can revive one non-effect monster from my grave in defense mode! Come on back, Red Eyes!” Just then Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) returns to the field in defense mode. Davis then takes one card from his hand, slams onto his disk, causing it to spark wildly, and he yells out, “And now, I release Dragluon, Red Nova, and Red-Eyes in order to play this! The all-mighty Slifer the Sky Dragon!” There are more gasps as lightning ‘erupts’ from Davis’ duel disk which goes high into the sky, which is covered in storm clouds, and then after a brief second, a red ‘flash’ comes from the sky which ‘transforms’ into Slifer the Sky Dragon (X000/X000) in attack mode.

 

Yolei says, stunned, “Holy cow!”

 

Hotaru asks, nervously, “Is that…?!”

 

Trista says, seriously, “It is! That’s the final Egyptian God Monster: Slifer the Sky Dragon!”

 

Davis says, seriously, “Slifer’s attack and defense points are one thousand times the number of cards in my hand and I have half-a-dozen cards in my hand!” Slifer the Sky Dragon then goes from 0/0 to 6000/6000 and Davis yells out, “It’s over! Slifer, Thunder Force Strike!”

 

As Slifer prepares for his attack on Obelisk, Naruto says, pushing a button on his disk’s touch screen, “Not so fast! I have one face-down card to play, believe it! I activate Gift Card trap card!” Naruto’s face-down card is revealed to be the Gift Card trap card and Naruto says, “Now, you are forced to discard your hand and then draw five new cards from your deck!” Davis discards his entire hand, draws five new cards, and Slifer’s stats drop from 6000/6000 to 5000/5000 due to Davis having one less card in his hand.

 

Yolei says, “Yeah, but Slifer still has more attack points than Slifer!”

 

Naruto says, pushing another button on his disk’s touch screen, “Not for long! I activate my last trap card: Introduction to Gallantry!” Naruto’s other face-down card is revealed to be the Introduction to Gallantry trap card and Naruto says, “Thanks to this trap card, since my opponent has five or more cards in their hand, they are forced to discard a random card!” Davis gives a look of shock as one card from his new hand vanishes and Slifer’s stats go from 5000/5000 down to 4000/4000 due to the loss of a card from Davis’ hand causing Obelisk to counterattack with his glowing right fist.

 

Veemon says, “That means that their attack points are even!”

 

Trista yells out, worriedly, “Everyone, get down now!” Everyone is surprised by this, but our heroes and heroines drop down to the floor while Naruto’s ‘companions’ also do the same as Obelisk’s and Slifer’s attack collide with each other creating an IMMENSE explosion of power with a massive ‘KA-BOOM’ being heard throughout Neo Domino City. At this moment, Darien, Serena, and the others on the Moon Kingdom arrive on the scene and on the field in which they yell out as they are knocked to the ground from the shockwave of the clash of the two Egyptian God Monsters which also causes a massive column of light to engulf everyone in the Kaiba Dome.

 

May 24, 2026, Neo Domino City, Tops Area

 

In the Tops Area, we find ourselves within the apartment that our former Signers along with Yugi, Joey, Duke, Kaiba, and Mokuba are staying in and they are seeing what was happening from the Kaiba Dome.

 

Joey asks, amazed, “What’s with the light show?”

 

Jack says, “You got me, but I don’t think that it is a good thing.”

 

Just then Kuribon, Luna’s Duel Monster ‘spirit partner’, appears, in ‘spirit form’ by Luna and Luna asks, mentally, “What is it, Kuribon?” Kuribon gives its classic ‘chirps’ and Luna says, mentally, “Great power? That doesn’t sound good at all.”

 

May 24, 2026, Neo Paradius headquarters

 

Within Neo Paradius headquarters, Yuuko gives a gasp as she feels a ‘surge’ in which she looks over at orb in which it is glowing greatly causing her eyes to widen when she looks at the orb.

 

May 24, 2026, Neo Domino City, Kaiba Dome

 

Back within the Kaiba Dome, everyone with the dueling field is engulfed by the light created by the clash of the two Egyptian God Monsters and causing them to see multiple ‘visions’ in which all of them then find themselves to be floating in some kind of ‘space’.

 

Keiko asks, “What’s going on?”

 

Kazuto asks, surprised, “Keiko?”

 

Asuna asks, surprised, “What are you doing here?”

 

Rika says, “We just came to find you after Serena recovered.”

 

Everyone looks at Serena and Mina asks Serena, “You okay?”

 

Serena responds, “Can we change the question to…What the heck is going on here?!”

 

Yolei says, nervously, “Well…”

 

Hawkmon says, nervously, “I don’t think that we know ourselves.”

Patamon says, with a nod, “That’s for sure.” But then everyone sees the battle between Atem and Zorc, Yugi, Atem, and their friends/allies battling against Dartz and the Orichalcos in the past, the battle between the Egyptian God Monsters and the Great Leviathan, and then images of the Silver Millennium.

 

Kotone asks, “What is…?”

 

Trista responds, “Images of the past including Yugi Moto and Atem with their friends and allies fighting against the Orichalcos.”

 

Amara says, plainly, “Plus, images of the Silver Millennium.” Just then they see ‘images’ of Sailor Celestial of the Silver Millennium confronting Heathcliff of the Silver Millennium.

 

Asuna asks, surprised, “Is that…?”

 

Suguha says, with a nod, “Yeah. My battle with Kayaba…Heathcliff around the end of the Silver Millennium.” Soon after, the ‘images’ switch to the Digidestined’s battles with enemies like the Dark Masters, Myotismon, BlackWarGreymon, and otherwise until they switch to the battles of the Sailor Scouts of Juuban starting with when Serena first became Sailor Moon. However, they get a surprise when they see Sailor Moon transform into Princess Serenity for the first time after the Silver Crystal was restored switches to an image of Akihiko Kayaba working in his office/lab and he then holds his head in pain as a glow surrounds him.

 

Tai asks, confused, “Whoa! What’s this?”

 

Ken asks, curiously, “Could it be…?” Afterwards, they see Kayaba collapse on the floor and remain motionless for a few second before his eyes shoot open where he gets to his feet, looking at a picture of a younger Serena Tsukino, and he then looks at a computer screen that has the image of the floating castle of Aincrad on it causing him to give a sly smile.

 

Asuna asks, curiously, “Is it…?”

 

Kazuto says, with a nod, “Yes, Asuna. The day that Kayaba regained his Silver Millennium. Remember, he told us on the day that Serena gained the Silver Crystal, his Silver Millennium memories returned.” Soon afterwards, they see images of ‘recent history’ starting with none other than the infamous first day of Sword Art Online itself causing a lot of mixed reactions/expression from the SAO survivors of the group and then they see what happened at the end of Sword Art World where they see the Crimson Dragon come to Naruto’s world AKA the Elemental Countries in which the Crimson Dragon is over the Leaf Village at the time of Naruto’s battle with Pain.

 

Hiyori asks, confused, “What’s this?”

 

Amara says, “This is must be how Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata came to our world!”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “Bingo!”

 

Everyone looks at Naruto and Hinata says, “The Crimson Dragon appeared over our village and brought the three of us here. We’re not completely sure why, but we believe that it has to do with Naruto being one of the Crimson Dragon’s new Signers.”

 

Lita says, “Well, that makes some sense.” Just then the images shows what looks like Ancient Egypt once more, but with Egyptian looking versions of Kazuto, Serena, and Suguha fighting against an Ancient Egyptian looking version of Kayaba/Heathcliff.

 

Rika asks, amazed, “Whoa! What the?”

 

Keiko says, amazed, “They look like Kirito…Kazuto, Serena, and Suguha!”

 

Asuna asks, amazed, “And that one looks like…Kayaba?!” Soon after, the scene switches to what looks like a dark and more sinister version of the Crimson Dragon fighting against a group of six robed warriors joined with what looks like the six Signer Dragons, but by one of them is Stardust SPARK Dragon and not the ‘regular’ Stardust Dragon.

 

Davis asks, confused, “What the heck is this?!” Just then a person by the duplicate of Black Rose Dragon lowers their hoods and this person looks a lot like Suguha herself.

 

There are gasps of shock as they look at Suguha and Kazuto thinks in his mind, looking back and forth between his adoptive sister/cousin and her ‘doppelganger’ in the ‘vision’, “Sugu?!” But then the images switch again and this time, it looks like the inside of dark and sinister medieval European castle where there is a dark armored figure with sinister red eyes sitting on a throne looking down a person decked in dark red and black armor and who’s face looks like Davis’ face.

 

Veemon asks, confused while looking back at his partner, “Davis?!”

 

Davis says, confused, “You got me, Veemon!” The others are also shocked to see someone that looks like Kari, dressed in an outfit similar to Leia’s ‘slave outfit’ at the start of Star Wars movie ‘Return of the Jedi’ by the right side of Davis’ ‘doppelganger’ and bowing in front of the dark armored figure. The scene then switches to Davis ‘doppelganger’ standing in front of Kari’s ‘counterpart’, who is bowing in front of him, and she then rises to kiss Davis’ doppelganger’ on the lips with intense love and passion. The next scene shows said ‘doppelgangers’ standing in front of a group of people/warriors, male and female, that are bowing in front of them. The final scene shows Davis’ ‘doppelganger’ facing off against the dark armored figure and Davis’ ‘counterpart’ produces what looks like 100 Duel Monster cards that ‘zap’ the dark armored figure into nothingness.

 

Mimi says, amazed, “Wow.”

 

Sora says, “That’s one way of putting it, Mimi.”

 

Biyomon asks, “What do you think that this is?”

 

Trista says, with a plain tone, “Images of the past.”

 

There are looks of surprise and Hotaru asks, “The past?”

 

Darien asks Trista, “Do you mean…?”

 

Trista says, “I believe so, Darien. Yes.” Just then the scene then shows Yuuko with the dark and sinister version of the Crimson Dragon and another strange dragon appears in front of their eyes before they are engulfed in a bright light. Back within the Kaiba Dome itself, the ‘explosion’ of light fades away and when it is gone, everyone in the stadium at the time of the clash of the two God Monsters appear with Davis and Naruto on their knees with everyone else lying on the ground. Davis and Naruto groan as they slowly get to their feet with everyone else following afterwards.

 

Davis asks, with a grunt, “Anyone get the license of that bus?”

 

Kazuto asks Suguha, Asuna, and SAO survivors of the group, “Are you okay?”

 

Asuna says, with a nod, “I’m okay, Kirito-kun.”

 

Darien asks Serena, “Serena?”

 

Serena says, with a nod, “I’m okay, Darien-kun.”

 

Tai asks, “What the heck was that?”

 

TK responds, “Good question, Tai.”

 

Naruto asks his group, concerned, “Are all of you okay?”

 

Hinata says, with a nod, “We’re okay, Naruto-kun.”

 

Homura asks, amazed and confused, “What the heck was that all about?!”

 

Sakura says, “A clash of two REALLY POWERFUL monsters that just showed us images of the past and possibly the future too.” When everyone is on their feet, Davis and Naruto then notice that the touch screen of their duel disks are showing an ‘error’ sign in which the two of them deactivate soon afterwards.

Naruto says, “Well, that’s that.”

 

Rika asks, “What the heck was that?”

 

Homura and Tai say in unison, “That’s our question!”

 

Darien asks Trista, “What we saw was mainly images of the past?”

 

Trista says, “Indeed, Darien.” Trista says, looking at Serena and other SAO survivors, “Not to reopen ‘old wounds’, but I believe that they can confirm that some of those images were those of what happened in SAO.” When Darien looks at Serena and the other SAO survivors, they silently nod their heads.

 

Mimi asks, curiously, “If that was the past, then why did we see people that looked like Davis, Kari, Kazuto, Suguha, and Serena?”

 

Darien says, plainly, “Those were their past lives.”

 

There are plenty of looks of shock and Sora asks, “Past lives?”

 

Trista says, “As we, now, know, Kazuto, Serena, and Suguha weren’t reincarnated once. They had possibly lived multiple lives throughout history. What we saw was their previous lives and it looks like Davis and Kari had other past lives as well.”

 

Tai asks, with a glare at Davis, “What I want to know is why Kari’s ‘past self’ was dressed like Princess Leia when she was enslaved by Jabba the Hunt in Star Wars?”

 

Davis and Kari blush from that and Kari yells out, annoyed, “Tai!”

 

Hotaru asks, “Who was that dark figure with Davis’ ‘past self’?”

 

Trista responds, with a deadly serious tone, “Someone that you NEVER want to meet, Firefly.” Plenty of the others look at Trista and they see a VERY serious look on her expression.

 

Michelle asks, curiously, “Trista?” Amara, Raye, and Darien can’t help to gain really serious looks seeing Trista’s expression.

 

Cody says, “And if this is true, then Kayaba…”

 

Izzy says, “It would seem so.”

 

Suguha says, with a snarl, “It seems like the three of us are always cursed to be ‘linked’ with him.” Serena gives a solemn look while Kazuto gives a plain serious look.

 

Naruto tells Davis, “Anyway, I think that we have to call this duel a draw. When we have a rematch, let’s make sure not to have a pair of legendary deity monsters that could bust up the world.”

 

Davis says, “Yeah, I kind of got that.”

 

Suguha asks Naruto, “So, what now?”

 

Sakura says, “That would be up to our ‘other guests’ and we’re not talking about your ‘royal sister’.”

 

There are plenty of confused looks and Naruto yells out, seemly to no one, “Okay, Katsuragi-chan, you and your friends can come out now! Your sensei and Asuka-san’s old man too!” Just then a smoke bomb comes down nearby, explodes, and a cloud of smoke appears in front of everyone in which quite a few go into defensive stances until the smoke dispels to reveal the shinobi-to-be from Hanzo Academy with their teacher and Asuka’s grandfather and the namesake of the school, Hanzo.

 

Hanzo says, “Very good, Naruto-san.”

 

Yolei asks, “Who are they?”

 

Trista says, “They belong to Hanzo National Academy, a regular academy, in the public eye, but select students are enrolled in their hidden shinobi school. They belong to what’s known as the ‘good ninja faction’ or the government faction in the cases of like the Hayabusa and Mugen Tenshin clans.”

 

Hanzo tells Trista, with a smile, “It is good to see you, again, Trista-san. You are as lovely as ever.”

 

Katsuragi tells Naruto, excitedly, “Hey, foxy!”

 

Naruto tells Katsuragi, a bit nervously, “Nice to see you, too, Katsuragi-chan.” Just then Naruto notices that both Sakura and Hinata going behind Naruto.

 

Sakura tells Katsuragi, with a deadly glare, “Don’t even think about it.”

 

Hinata tells Naruto, with a whisper, “Sorry, Naruto-kun.”

 

Kiriya then says, “By the way, Rin, you can come out.”

 

Soon after, Suzume appears by Naruto and his group in which she says, with a sly smile, “I’m not surprised that you detected me.”

 

Lita asks, “Who in the world?”

 

Haruka says, “Meet our sensei, Suzume.”

 

Tai asks, stunned, “Your teacher?”

 

Mimi asks, curiously, “All our shinobi of our world…?”

 

Sora says, nervously while pointing to Kiriya, “No, Mimi. That guy is obviously a ninja too.”

 

Mimi says, nervously, “Oh.”

 

Suzume tells Mimi, “One can’t blame you for that question. Male shinobi of the quality of Hanzo-sama, Kiriya-sensei, and the leaders of the Mugen Tenshin and Hayabusa ninja clans seem to be rare.” Suzume says, looking at Naruto with a sly smile, “Unlike Naruto’s world I digress. If the real-life Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze is quite the shinobi, there must be plenty male ninja of the same quality or, forgive any insult, even better.”

 

Naruto tells Suzume, with a smile, “No insult taken Suzume-chan.”

 

Sakura tells the group from Hanzo Academy, “However, I don’t think that you are here just to say hello.”

 

Kiriya says, “Let’s just say that what you want gives us concern.”

 

Naruto responds, his eyes narrowing, “Like your system works?”

 

Kiriya says, “I respect where you came from, but Naruto-san, you have no right to judge…”

 

Naruto replies, sternly, “No right? Maybe you have a point since I don’t come from your world and I’m a fictional character here, but right now, I’m pretty much real and I’m pretty much as much of a shinobi like you…Maybe…No, I AM a better shinobi…a TRUE shinobi, believe it! Your ‘good shinobi’ and ‘bad shinobi’ is just plain nonsense! Anyone from my world would say: What the fuck is that? That’s NOT being a shinobi! If your ‘good shinobi ways’ are full of contradictions! Did you ever explain the truth about Katsuragi-chan’s parents?!”

 

There are looks of shock and Katsuragi asks, confused, “Say what?!”

 

Asuka asks, “What are you saying?”

 

Naruto tells Katsuragi, glancing at Hanzo and Kiriya, “Did your teacher and Asuka’s grandfather ever tell you that they only ‘failed’ their mission because they refused to MURDER a one-year old girl?!”

 

There are gasps of shock from the Hanzo group and quite a few others in the area in which Asuka asks, stunned, “What?!” Asuka looks at her grandfather and Kiriya, who has a look of shock on his face.

 

Hanzo then gives a solemn look and he says, solemnly, “I won’t ask how you know, Naruto-san.”

 

Katsuragi gives a flabbergasted look and Homura says, looking at Katsuragi, “It’s true, girl. Your parents were assigned to take out the leaders of a prominent ninja clan of your side because they were planning to go the ‘evil ninja shinobi’ which could have result the rest of the clan going by force or a civil war in the clan that could have wiped them all out. Your parents were told to take out the immediately family of the clan leaders and their supports, but what they didn’t tell your parents is that only child was a baby girl.”

 

Suzume says, “In fact, they lied to Katsuragi’s parents and when they found this out, they were outraged, but they not only eliminated her parents and their supporters, they also make sure that the clan wouldn’t get into civil war and thrive. They succeeded in the true ‘outline’ of their mission was to prevent the clan from going to the ‘evil ninja faction’ and making sure no civil war in the clan started. They had succeeded beyond the scope, but because they wouldn’t MURDER their daughter, they were declared failures and forced to run.” Suzume asks Kiriya, with a plain tone, “Are we wrong or lying, sensei?”

 

When the Hanzo ninja group look at Kiriya, Yagyu asks, “Sensei?”

 

Kiriya says, plainly and solemnly, “No, you aren’t. You are telling the ABSOUTE truth.” There are plenty of gasps from that admission with Katsuragi’s eyes widening in shock and surprise.

 

Homura says, with a smirk and snort, “So much for your ‘good shinobi’, huh? I KNOW better.” Homura tells Asuka, “Asuka!” When Asuka looks at Homura, she says, “You have the ability to be an awesome shinobi and I mean it, girl! However, you need to think on WHAT kind of shinobi that you need to be.”

 

Asuka asks, curiously, “WHAT kind of shinobi that I need to be?

 

Sakura tells Asuka, “You can’t take things as ‘black and white’ which is what your system is. The truth lies in the ‘grey’. You need to be like Naruto-kun. You need to go ‘outside of the box’.” However, plenty of people in the stadium can ‘sense’ a great anger in which they look at Katsuragi as a look of pure rage is in her eyes with tears of pain and anger in them.

 

Yagyu says, lowly, “Oh no…”

 

Katsuragi gives out a yell of anger and pain and lifts her hand, but her hand is stopped by Naruto, who has ‘zipped’ over to her, causing him to say, “Katsuragi-chan, stop now!” When Katsuragi looks at him, Naruto says, “Taking it out on them won’t change the betrayal of your parents…and of you, Katsuragi-chan! They left you so you would live, so, all of you can find a way to be a family again! Personally, I think that they messed up a bit, but they didn’t truly abandon you! Yes, their superiors are at fault and they should pay for their crimes, but lashing out and getting yourself killed? What your parents think if they hear their beloved daughter got herself murdered? You can’t let their efforts be for nothing!” Katsuragi gasps and she then relaxes her tense arm in which Naruto let’s her arm go. Naruto then starts to walk away and he says, “By the way, Old Man, you should tell the ‘higher ups’ about this before thinking of doing anything to Katsuragi-chan.” Naruto then displays a scroll and opens it up causing Kiriya and Hanzo to give looks of shock.

 

Kiriya asks, shocked, “How did you…?!”

 

Naruto responds, with a smirk, “Do you know WHO I AM? I am the most unpredictable ninja of the whole of the Elemental Countries, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze!”

 

Hanzo regains his composer and he says, “I shouldn’t have been surprised by this. There are those that support you and your ‘initiative’.”

 

Sakura tells Hanzo, plainly, “Hanzo-dono, the majority of ‘your faction’ supports our way of thinking. They just don’t voice it for obvious reasons.”

 

Hanzo says, with a sigh, “I am not surprised by this.”

 

Asuka gasps in shock and she asks, surprised, “Grandfather?”

 

Naruto takes out a scroll and he says, looking at Suguha, “Sorry about the drama. Here you go.” Naruto throws the scroll to Suguha and she catches it.

 

Suguha asks, “What is this?”

 

Naruto responds, “A vital base for Neo Paradius. It is former Kamishimo facility in Kyoto and it will have all that you need to know to bust and get what you need.”

 

There are looks of surprise and Suguha asks, confused, “Huh? Why?”

 

Kazuto asks, a bit suspicious in his tone, “What’s the catch?”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “Just want Suguha-chan to meet up with me in ALO.”

 

There are looks of shock and Suguha yells out, shocked, “You play ALO?!”

 

Naruto tells Suguha, with a smile, “We’ve already met…Leafa-chan.”

 

There are more gasps of shock and Suguha says, realizing something, “You…I can’t believe…I’m such a dork!”

 

Suguha slaps herself on the forehead and Rika asks, confused, “Can anyone tell me what’s going on?”

 

Naruto says, with a smirk, “Road to Ninja, believe it. I’m a fan…for obvious reasons.”

 

Gatomon says, plainly, “That I believe.”

 

Patamon says, with a nod, “Yep.”

 

Hinata tells Suguha, with a smile, “Naruto-kun is a fan of VRMMO games.”

 

Sakura says, with a smirk, “Fan? Hinata, he is a VRMMO junkie!”

 

Naruto says, with a blush, “Come on, Sakura-chan, I’m not that bad!” Suzume, Homura, Yomi, Haruka, Mirai, and Sakura have looks that says: ‘Are you kidding?’ Hikage has an impassive look while Hinata is twiddling her fingers like she did when she was younger causing Naruto to sweat drop big time.

 

Homura tells Sakura, with a sly smirk, “But you shouldn’t call the kettle black, Sakura. You seem to like VRMMO especially the PvP parts.”

 

Sakura gives a nervous yelp and Hikage says, plainly, “You seem to prefer GGO…”

 

Sakura says, nervously, “Shush!”

 

Yolei says, nervously, “Okay, a bit TMI.”

 

Naruto asks Suguha, “So, what do you say?”

 

Suguha responds, “Fine by me.”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “I’ll see you there.” Naruto rejoins his group and he tells Katsuragi, “Sorry that you had to hear all that, but you deserved the truth and I’m also here to prove a point to your sensei and Asuka-san’s grandfather a point. I’m not trying to break you up with your friends and you should really appreciate your ‘precious people’, Katsuragi-chan.” Naruto gives a smile and before anyone could say or do anything else, Naruto and his group vanish with a bright flash of lightning.

 

Mina asks, amazed, “Whoa? Was that…?”

 

Izzy says, with a nod, “I believe so, Mina.”

 

Katsuragi then turns away and Hibari asks, concerned, “Katsuragi?”

 

Katsuragi says, plainly, “I need time to be alone, Hibari. Catch you later.” Katsuragi then takes off with classic ninja speed and agility.

 

Asuka says, worriedly, “Katsu!”

 

Hanzo tells Asuka, plainly, “Let her go, Asuka.”

 

Ikaruga asks Kiriya, “So, all of that was true, sensei?”

 

Kiriya says, staring Ikaruga in the eyes, “Yes, but you have to know this. The life of shinobi isn’t clear-cut clean. That’s an illusion. We are warriors of the night. Lies and deception are our way no matter which side we are on.”

 

Yagyu says, “However, hypocrisy against the way of the ninja can’t be excused by that.” Everyone looks at Yagyu and she says, “That’s the point that Naruto-san is implying. Our current system is a hypocrisy against the way of the shinobi and calling ourselves ‘good ninja’ with such examples of hypocrisy such as Katsuragi and Homura, our system is a ‘crime’ against the way of the shinobi. That’s Naruto-san’s ‘statement’.”

 

Hanzo says, with a sigh, “Needless to say, I can’t disagree with his statement.” Kiriya and Asuka look at Hanzo and he gives a serious look that says not to argue with him. Hanzo looks at Trista and he says, bowing in front of her, “Forgive us for involving you, your princess, and our allies and friends in our affairs.” Just then a smoke bomb slams down on the ground and the Hanzo group, minus Katsuragi, who just left, are covered in a lot of smoke and when the smoke fades away, they are gone!

 

Mina asks, nervously, “Is it me or does anyone feel that we are getting in over our heads?”

 

Davis retorts, “Isn’t that normal for us?”

 

Tai says, with a nod, “I agree, Davis.”

 

Yolei says, “This is going for weird to WAY out there!”

 

Hawkmon says, with a nod, “I must agree.”

 

Suguha takes a look at what’s in the scroll that Naruto gave her and Serena asks, “What does that scroll say?”

 

Suguha was about to rebuke Serena, but Kazuto tells her, “No, Sugu. Like it or not, we’re involved in this the first day that Yuuko attacked us. We’re just making our involvement even if you want it or not.” Plenty of the others nod their heads in agreement and Suguha lowers her head in defeat, knowing all too well that she can’t argue with her brother, her ‘royal sister’, or any of her friends/allies in which she surrenders the scroll without a fight in which the others start to read what’s on the scroll.

 

Davis then asks, “Um, did we let Naruto-san leave with an Egyptian God card?” Plenty of the others then give looks of shock and Amara and Raye slap their foreheads.

 

May 24, 2026, Neo Paradius headquarters

 

Within Neo Paradius headquarters, Yuuko and Heartland are walking down a hallway together in which they are discussing something with Heartland looking in shock.

 

Heartland asks, stunned, “The Egyptian God Cards?!”

 

Yuuko says, “They are all here now, Heartland-san.”

 

Heartland says, nervously, “That’s not good.”

 

Yuuko tells Heartland, “Even since Sailor Moon got her hands on Ra, I’ve prepared for this. In fact, I had prepared if the spirit of Pharaoh Atem would try something to interfere.”

 

Heartland asks, “What’s that?” Yuuko points ahead and Heartland looks to see a case containing three Duel Monster cards in which Heartland’s eyes widen at them.

 

Yuuko says, “I know that you can sense their power and you are right to be in awe. They may be the ‘shadows’ of the Egyptian God Monsters, but ‘shadows’ can prove deadlier than the originals.”

 

Heartland says, with a sinister sly smile, “Indeed.” As Yuuko and Heartland are looking at the cards, some distance away, Kana is looking at them in which she narrows her eyes.

Wow! All sorts of craziness has been in this chapter, huh? If it doesn’t make sense to you, I’m sure that it will soon enough. There is a ‘sub-plot’ going on and yes, it does involve Naruto and the ‘ninja system’ of this Earth. Personally, I’ve seen plenty of fanfiction where Naruto would disagree with the whole system of the Senran Kagura anime and I agree in which I feel that in real-life, the so-called ‘good ninja’ wouldn’t be as ‘squeaky clean’ as in their anime/video games, despite its ‘maturity’. With ‘organizations’ like this, even ‘good ones’, there are always ‘skeletons’ in the closet. Anyway, keep reading and reviewing to find out what’s happening and please, no flames!
