Chapter 2

The Surprise Guest

What just happened-

"I'm not afraid of you." I spat at them.

"You should be…" said the man who had just hit me. "Guards take her back to the cell, we shall figure out what to do with her later." He sniggered as I stood and the guards yanked me hard and pushed me out of the door.

I was going to win this war. Because I had just remembered, I had the moon crescent wand with me…

The wand was still tucked away in my dress. The guards shoved me back in my cell. My eyes were adjusted to the dark light by now and I could see the cell was bigger then I thought. On one side were a sink and a toilet like thing. I looked at disgust at it. The back wall had a hole at the back of it, I looked at it with hope before checking if the guards were watching. They weren't there which surprised me. Without another thought I ran over to it, I cut my bare feet but I didn't notice it. I poked at the hole and groaned in realization that it was where food and water was passed through. I sighed and clambered onto the top bunk, getting a better view of the 'cell' which I guess would be my 'home.' I soon realized that I had never been away from my mother this long. I gulped down the lump in my throat and pushed away tears that threatened to spill out. I was going to die…well…I could…build up my strength and wipe out all of the saiyans! Yes because I had the crystal I could use it! I lay down on the bed the hard mattress not making it any better for my back.

It was a few hours later when the guards opened my cell door. I sat up, waiting for them to tell me to get down to go see the saiyan's, but instead they pushed in another prisoner. They were sprawled on the ground not moving and the guards just left them there. When they snapped the door shut and walked away I jumped down from my bed and helped the person onto the bed under mine. I turned them over and saw it was a female. But who she was stunned me the most was that it was Mina.

^Trunks POV^

It has been a while since the princess left us. It's a pity, that she will be executed. She is beautiful. But what I am mostly interested in is the newest prisoner. Goku and Father caught her. While Goten and I had been chasing after the Princess. She doesn't seem afraid that she will die in five days. Unless Queen Serenity hands over that god damned crystal! I get up and walk down some stairs to the dungeons. The guards are there; they never question why I come down here. Obviously to see the new prisoner. Some of our guards are just plain stupid. The Princesses cell is down the far end. She's lucky, getting the biggest one. I'm at the end now. I look in and see her on the lower bed, hanging over something. Her dress is in shreds, and she still ripping off parts. I get it now! She's helping the new prisoner.

"Hey Trunks!"

I turn and see Goten walking up to me. He's looking into the cell now, only he's daring to go closer to the door. The princess is looking up at us now, her dark blue eyes are set in a glare.

"What do you want?" she hisses.

"Anything." Said Goten smirking at her.

"Yeah?"

"You're pretty rude for a princess. But you won't be in a few days."

"I told you before, I'm not afraid of cowardly creeps like you, with no honor." She smirked at Goten's angry expression.

"I'll be glad to see you die" he hissed.

She narrows her eyes at him before turning back to the prisoner. She's awake now. Father and Goku did a good job with her. She is all bruised with cuts all over her.

"Where am I?" she says rubbing her hands over her face. Goten can do nothing but stare. The prisoner is the princess from Venus, Princess Mina. She has long blond hair but it's not as dark as Princess Serenity's.

"We are in the hand's of cold-blooded killers." Says Princess Serenity.

"What happened last night then?" she wails. "They didn't get the crystal did they?"

"No, mother has it now hush Mina and get some sleep." Says Serenity in a soothing voice. I mentally lock in my mind what she said about the crystal's position. Princess Serenity stands and walks closer to the door.

"You will all be gone by the time the moon kingdom is done with you." She hisses.

"Unlikely." I say. Her eyes burn through mines making a chill go up my spine. I feel like she can read my mind. Goten smirks.

"You have no idea about the power we hold." He says.

She folds her arms over her chest.

"I'd like to see…"

Goten growls before starting to charge up. I place a hand on his shoulder.

"Father and Goku will be able to feel your ki, forget what she said, she's just trying to intimidate you."

Goten hesitates.

"Alright Trunks…"

The princess cuts him off.

"Trunks? What type of name is that?"

"What type of name is Serenity?" I hiss back at her.

"A good one." She shot back. I glare at her and she rolls her eyes.

Four guards walk by and open the cell door.

"Get out, the kings want to see you." They say at the two of them. Serenity sighs before shaking awake her friend.

Goten and I head back to Father and Goku. This could be a long conversation with the two most stubborn princesses I have ever seen.

^Serena POV^

Oh yay, we get to see the pricks again. Mina and I are walking out, all this walking is making me tired, the passageways are so long and the ground is hard making my feet bloody and scabbed. Mina is scared I think she will be ok. We will get rid of these saiyans, even if we have to die in doing so. Those two princes at our cell before, I feel kind of guilty for telling that Trunks guy his name was stupid.

Wait? I'm not meant to fee like that! Why should I feel anything toward him! So what if I hurt his feelings, he's going to be in a lot more pain when I'm through…though he does have nice deep blue eyes…

THERE IS GO AGAIN!! Argh! I'm so confused. Well, here we are the saiyans are there again. *Sigh* this is going to be harder than I anticipated…

Ouch! Gee those guards push hard! Mina and I are in front of the saiyans now. The spiky haired saiyan talk first.

"So, now we have Princess Mina of Venus." He smirks. Mina brushes some of her blond locks out of her face.

"So, you realize you shall die if the moon does not surrender the silver crystal?"

"They shall not surrender to you." Hisses Mina. "If I must die I shall die for the sake of others."

"My mother is strong King Vegeta." I spit at him.

Vegeta looks shocked.

"How do you know my name?"

"So saiyans are dimwitted too?" I smirk. "You're all universal wide famous, but not for good reasons. For years I have watched as you terrorize planet after planet. You, pick on the weaker you have no honor, just pride…"

Goku stands now.

"HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO US LIKE THAT!"

"Oh we dare." I say, Mina looks at me with a pleading look.

Trunks now speaks.

"You seem so sure of yourself, that we can be so easily defeated…"

"Yeah, because you will be." Says Mina. Trunks growls and throws a ki blast at her. Mina is thrown against the wall. I rush to help her but Vegeta tells me to stop.

I glare at him before continuing onto Mina. I help her to her feet. I smirk as I see Goten's face soften as he sees the pain she is in.

"We are a lot stronger than you." Whispers Gohan.

"But are you able to stand up and fight against all planet alliances with the moon?"

Gohan growls.

"Of course."

"Yeah, that'll be the day." Mina croaks.

Vegeta has had enough.

"Guards get rid of them."

I sigh as the guards yank Mina and I apart as we start our long tiring walk to out cell.

^ Trunks POV^

I'm sitting in my private room, thinking…

This room is really comfortable. When you first enter it, on the wall directly in front of you there is an armchair and a fireplace. This is where I am rested now. There's a plush soft rug in front of me with a table on top. There's also an armchair near mine, a bit to the left. On either side of the fireplace are two windows. It's raining. I can hear the soft pitter patter on the windows' glass.

Princess Serenity…

She has nice blue eyes… I sighed remembering her dark blue orbs, normally burning with pure loathing or compassion. I was snapped out of my trance when Goten walked in.

"Hey Trunks."

I grunted in reply and he looked shocked as he took his place on the other armchair.

"What you thinking about?" he asked.

"Nothing…much…"

Goten cocked his head to the side.

"Oh I think I could guess." He smirks.

"What?" I ask folding my arms.

"Princess Serenity."

"And I bet you're thinking about Princess Mina?"

Goten blushes slightly before turning stern.

"You didn't answer my question though?" he says.

I sigh. "Yes I am thinking about her…" I say.

Goten raises an eyebrow.

"What about her?"

"Not exactly about her and what we are going to do to her and Princess Mina."

Goten shrugs.

"Vegeta says if they keep being smart and pissing him off then a slow death. He was thinking about just continuing to shot ki blasts at them but now he has an even better idea…"

I'm interested in what Goten is saying.

"What is Father going to do Goten tell me please?"

Goten takes a deep breath before answering.

"He's going to tie them up and drown them…if they don't die he's going to…" he starts muttering something.

"What?" I say straining my ears to hear.

"He's going to torture them until they give away the location of the silver crystal."

I blinked. Father doesn't normally kill slowly just fast and quick. This is un-usual. A servant walks in.

"Would you like anything?" she asks politely.

"Yes." I say. "Could you bring Princess Serenity and Princess Mina to me."

"Of course."
