In the shadows a young girl stood looking over her home, the destroyed plains, dead trees and skeletal remains spanned as far as the eye could see. Hearing a twig snapping behind her, she turned to see a woman only a few years older than her.
“This can't go on any longer. I mush find help or our family will die.” she said to the girl in the shadows.
“I'll go with you Kady.” said the other.
“You can't… your need here.”
“I have to! You can do this alone…”
“…”
“Your right Nala we'll have a better chance to find any help if we both go.” Said Kady. her fire red with a tint of gold eyes shone with a dying strength, long sandy blond hip length hair was tied at her mid back with a fur made tie. She wore a piece of animal skin cloth that went across her chest and tied up at upper back and a tight ankle length skirt made of animal skin that had a slit that started haft way down the hips on both the right and left sides. A necklace with a single small stone adorned her neck.
“Let's get going.” said Nala. Her bright blue eyes held much wisdom for her age, shoulder length platinum blond hair. She wore a piece of animal skin that wrapped around her mid back crossed on the front and tied up at the back of her neck and a tight ankle length skirt made of animal skin that had a slit that started haft way down the hips on both the right and left sides with animal skin pants under it.
Fatshe leso lea halalela
Fatshe leso lea halalela
Apon hearing the words of a song the were familiar with, the two girls look to see a group of several women and children, a few men, children and a single old man standing on a large natural monument made of the large pillars of stone. The main stone was pointed straight up so high that it looked like you touch the sky. The second main stone laded across the tip of the third stone that also stood proud in it's own right. (Kady: Pride Rock basically ^-^;) the two girls looked over the land and also began to sing.
Shadowland
The leaves have fallen
This shadowed land
This was our home
The rivers dry
The ground has broken
So I must go
Now I must go
And where the journey may lead me
Let your prayers be my guide
I cannot stay here, my family
But I'll remember my pride
Prideland <-> I have no choice
My land <-> I will find my way
Tear-stained <-> Lea halalela
Dry land
Take this <-> Take this prayer
With you <-> What lies out there
Fatshe leso <-> Lea halalela
A woman with golden eyes that held great strength and unbreakable will, her chin length sandy blond hair danced softly in the wind. She wore a piece of animal skin that went across her chest and tied up at the mid back and a tight ankle length skirt made of animal skin that had a slit that started haft way down the hips on both the right and left sides with animal skin pants under it had stepped forward. She had tears in her eyes knowing what the two in front of her were planning to do and what would happen if the failed, but she stood with honor, dignity and strength as she and the others continued to sing.
And where the journey may lead you
Let this prayer be your guide
Though it may take you so far away
Always remember your pride
The old man began to chant
Fatshe leso lea halalela
Fatshe leso lea halalela <-> Fatshe leso lea halalela
The chanting stops
And where the journey may lead you <-> And where the journey may lead me
Let this prayer be your guide <-> ah! Prayers be my guide
Though it may take you so far away <-> though it may take me so far away
Always remember your pride <-> I'll remember my pride
And where the journey <-> Giza buyabo, giza
may lead you <-> buyabo
Let this prayer be your <-> I will return, I will return
Guide <-> beso bo
Though it may take <-> Giza buyabo, I will
you so far away <-> return
Always remember your <-> Giza buyabo, oh giza
Pride <-> buyabo
Beso bo, my people beso bo
The girls bowed with tears in their eyes, when they rose they saw all of the people had bowed their head. They turned to face the lifeless plains, the curse placed on their home from that monster's greed. Without any hesitation, they started to run from the place of their birth. As reached top speed their bodies change to the form of a female lion and they ran with out looking back.
